Suppressing non‐radiative recombination via passivating surface defects of perovskite films has demonstrated an excellent strategy for high‐performance perovskite solar cells (PSCs). However, it is still hard to realize both high open‐circuit voltage (Voc) of >1.2 V and high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of >22%, because the optimized bandgap of perovskite films is less than 1.60 eV for efficient light harvesting and Voc deficit is generally unavoidable due to carriers recombination. Here, the surface of the perovskite film is treated with a series of phenylhydroxylammonium halide salts and it is found that all of them can remarkably prolong the carrier lifetime owing to their excellent capability of surface defects passivation. The best PSC with phenylbutylammonium bromide treatment realizes a PCE of 22.67% with a Voc of 1.216 V, corresponding to a small Voc deficit of ≈344 mV. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Highlights: Poly(propylene glycol) bis(2-aminopropyl ether) (PEA) additive is introduced into the perovskite solar cells to passivate both surface and grain boundary defects, and hence improve the device efficiency and stability. The PEA molecules chemically interact with lead ions in perovskite, considerably passivate surface and bulk defects, which is in favor of charge transfer and extraction. Furthermore, the PEA additive can efficiently block moisture and oxygen to prolong the device lifetime. As a result, PEA-treated MAPbI3 (MA: CH3NH3) solar cells show increased power conversion efficiency (PCE) (from 17.18 to 18.87%) and good long-term stability. When PEA is introduced to (FAPbI3)1-x(MAPbBr3)x (FA: HC(NH2)2) solar cells, the PCE is enhanced from 19.66 to 21.60%. We report the synthesis, ab initio calculations, magnetic and optical characterization of a DyIII-based dimeric compound named DyAZO. The dimers self-organize into a supramolecular chain decorated with photo-isomerizable azobenzene ligands. DyAZO displays single-molecule magnet (SMM) behavior. However, ab initio calculations highlight a quite strong admixture of MJ states of the 6H15/2 level of DyIII ions, the presence of low-lying excited MJ states and antiferromagnetic Dy–Dy dipolar coupling. This favors zero-field fast tunneling. Accordingly the Dy-doped analogue YDyAZO (5.5% Dy doping) displays enhanced magnetic relaxation with a hysteresis that is observed at 0.5 K. The influence of the cis- to trans-isomerization of the decorating azobenzene ligand on magnetic properties has been tested for both solid samples and solutions of DyAZO and YDyAZO. The explosive increase in digital communications in the Big Data and internet of Things era spurs the development of universal memory that can run at high speed with high-density and nonvolatile storage capabilities, as well as demonstrating superior mechanical flexibility for wearable applications. Among various candidates for the next-generation information storage technology, resistive switching memories distinguish themselves with low power consumption, excellent downscaling potential, easy 3D stacking, and high CMOS compatibility, fulfilling key requirements for high-performance data storage. Employing organic and hybrid switching media in addition allows light weight and flexible integration of molecules with tunable device performance via molecular design-cum-synthesis strategy. In this review, we present a timely and comprehensive review of the recent advances in organic and hybrid resistive switching materials and devices, with particular attention on their design principles for electronic property tuning and flexible device performance. The current challenges posed with development of organic and hybrid resistive switching materials and flexible memory devices, together with their future perspectives, are also discussed. Single‐molecule magnet (SMM) behavior of dysprosium‐based dimers was optimized by substitution of a DyIII ancillary ligand (hfac– in the previously reported DyPyNO and tta– in Dy). A clear hysteresis opening is visible at 0.5 K for Dy that allows for the determination of an antiferromagnetic (AF) coupling of –2.92 cm–1 (S = 1/2, gz = 19.58) which was confirmed by ab initio calculations. Comparison with the results of DyPyNO shows that stronger AF coupling correlates with better SMM behavior. This is further demonstrated by diamagnetic substitution, and a Y–Dy species (YDy) highlights that the strong AF magnetic interaction in Dy significantly enhances magnetic relaxation at low temperature. This coupling is also expected to be at the origin of the unexpectedly weak isotopic effect observed for the isotopically pure parents of Dy, namely 161Dy and 164Dy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Long-term and extensive usage of thiamethoxam, the second-generation neonicotinoid insecticide, has caused a serious threat to non-target organisms and ecological security. Efficient immobilized microorganism techniques are a sustainable solution for bioremediation of thiamethoxam contamination. A Gram-negative aerobic bacterium Chryseobacterium sp H5 with high thiamethoxam-degrading efficiencies was isolated from activated sludge. Then we developed a novel polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/sodium alginate (SA)/biochar bead with this functional microbe immobilization to enhance the biodegradation and removal of thiamethoxam. Results indicated that the total removal and biodegradation rate of thiamethoxam with PVA/SA/biochar (0.7 %) beads with Chryseobacterium sp H5 immobilization at 30 °C and pH of 7.0 within 7 d reached about 90.47 % and 68.03 %, respectively, much higher than that using PVA/SA immobilized microbes (75.06 %, 56.05 %) and free microbes (61.72 %). Moreover, the PVA/SA/biochar (0.7 %) immobilized microbes showed increased tolerance to extreme conditions. Biodegradation metabolites of thiamethoxam were identified and two intermediates were first reported. Based on the identified biodegradation intermediates, cleavage of C-N between the 2-chlorothiazole ring and oxadiazine, dichlorination, nitrate reduction and condensation reaction would be the major biodegradation routes of thiamethoxam. Results of this work suggested the novel PVA/SA/biochar beads with Chryseobacterium sp H5 immobilization would be helpful for the effective bioremediation of thiamethoxam contamination. Abstract: A novel versatile electrochemical platform for ultrasensitive detection of small biomolecules was developed using ligation-rolling circle amplification (L-RCA) with analyte-mediated sticky ends. In order to achieve DNA cyclization, we designed two ss-DNA probes: the leftpart probe could form a “hairpin” structure by denaturing; the rightpart probe could also form a “hairpin” structure based on analyte-activated conformation change. Then the two probes with the same sticky ends (G-AATTC) could be ligated in the presence of Escherichia coli DNA ligase, forming a circular template for rolling circle amplification (RCA), which could be triggered by adding the primer probe and Phi29 DNA polymerase. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was employed as the detection method. Overall, the proposed L-RCA-based sensing system not only exhibits excellent analytical characteristics with a detection limit of 320pM and a linear range of 5 orders of magnitude (1nM–10μM), but also provides a universal design idea of L-RCA, which broadens the use of DNA amplification method and holds great promise in ultrasensitive bioassay in the future. Herein, we provide some structural evidence of the complexation color-change of murexide solutions in presence of lanthanide, which has been used for decades in complexometric studies. For Ln=Sm to Lu and Y, the compounds crystallize as monomeric [Ln(Murex)3] ⋅11 H2O with an N3O6 tricapped square-antiprism environment, which are stable up to 250 °C. Single-ion magnet (SIM) behavior is then observed on the YbIII derivative in an original nine-coordinated environment. In-field slow relaxation (Δ=(15.6±1) K; τ0=2.73×10−6 s) is observed with a very narrow distribution of the relaxation time ( αmax=0.09). Magnetic and photophysical properties can be correlated. On one hand the analysis of NIR emission spectrum permits to have access to crystal field parameters and to compare them with those extracted from dc measurements. On the other hand, magnetic measurements permit to identify the nature of the MJ states involved in the 2F5/2→2F7/2 luminescence spectrum. The reaction of isonicotinic acid N-oxide and Dy(NO)3 ·6H2O under aerobic conditions leads to the formation of a porous lanthanide, a cubane-based 3D edifice of the formula [Dy4(μ3-OH)3(μ3-O)(NOPyCOO)6(OH)(H2O)3 ·(DMF)3(H2O)12]∞ (NOPyCOO = pyridine-4-carboxylate N-oxide). Crystal structure investigations show that the [Dy4(μ3-OH)3(μ3-O)] cubane cores are interconnected by organic ligands to form an extended porous structure. Thermogravimetric analyses and temperature-dependent X-ray diffraction analyses evidence that the compound is stable upon dehydration/desolvatation up to 200 °C. Calculations for the N2 kinetic radius afford a void volume of 3603 Å3 per unit cell (33.8 %) and a potential porosity of 1400 m2 g-1. The large pores can potentially host molecules with a projected surface area as large as 20 Å2 into a large pore volume (600 Å3). Neonicotinoids (NEOs) are the most widely used pesticides and have posed a serious threat to human health. However, data on human exposure to NEOs are extremely scarce. To bridge this gap, human exposure potential of NEOs through drinking water consumption and percutaneous penetration was evaluated with the influences of 17 age groups, 4 seasons, 6 regions, and 2 genders. The results showed that drinking water in the present study had an upper middle level of NEO contamination. Anthropogenic activity and weather condition played important roles in the regional distribution of NEOs in tap water. For both children and adults, N EOs intake from d rinking water e xposure (NDE) and p ercutaneous e xposure (NPE) in the south regions of China are significantly higher than those in the north regions, while the order of NDE and NPE by season is summer > spring = autumn > winter. Furthermore, human age and gender also have remarkable impacts on NDE and NPE. The age groups of children subjected to the highest NDE and NPE were 9 months – 2 years old and 9–12 years old, respectively. The reaction of [Ln(hfac)3] ⋅2 H2O and pyridine- N-oxide (PyNO) leads to isostructural dimers of the formula [Ln(hfac)3(PyNO)]2 (Ln=Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy). The Dy derivative shows a remarkable single-molecule magnet behavior with complex hysteresis at 1.4 K. The dynamics of the magnetization features are two relaxation regimes: a thermally activated one at high temperature ( τ0=(5.62±0.4)×10−11 s and Δ=(167±1) K) and a quantum tunneling regime at low temperature with a tunneling frequency of 0.42 Hz. The analysis of the Gd derivative evidences intradimer antiferromagnetic interactions ( J=(−0.034±0.001) cm−1). Moreover, the Eu, Tb, and Dy derivatives are luminescent with quantum yield of 51, 53, and 0.1 %, respectively. The thermal investigation of [Dy(hfac)3(PyNO)]2 shows that the dimers can be sublimated intact, suggesting their possible exploit as active materials for surface-confined nanostructures to be investigated by fluorimetry methods. Imidacloprid (IMI) is existence in the soil environment with a half-life habitually more than hundred days. This study targets to determine, identify and characterize photo-biodegradation bacteria from neonicotinoids (NEOs) contaminated agricultural field soils. The sub-surface soil had a higher level contamination of NEOs, in specifically greater concentration of IMI (3445.2 ± 0.09 μg/g) and thiacloprid (4084.4 ± 0.09 μg/g) has been found. Three bacteria Ralstonia pickettii (PBMS-2), Bacillus cereus (PBMS-3) and Shinella zoogloeoides (PBMS-4) was identified from soil-free stable enrichment cultures. The biodegradability of IMI (50 mg L−1) by three bacteria under different colors of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) with a constant 12 V power supply was tested and found that the blue-LEDs had greatest efficiency in supporting biodegradation of IMI which is called photo-biodegradation. In specific, the rate of photo-biodegradation of IMI by Ralstonia pickettii (87%), Bacillus cereus (80%) and Shinella zoogloeoides (80%) was measured. Besides this study also tested the effect of aeration (rpm), pH, and temperature on photo-biodegradation of IMI. There were seven intermediate metabolites were measured as biodegradation products of IMI under photo-biodegradation conditions and they are; IMI-urea, IMI-desnitro, 6-chloronicotinic acid, 6-hydroxy nicotinic acid, IMI- aminoguanidine, IMI-nitrosoguanidine and 4,5-hydroxy IMI, these metabolites are may non-toxic to the environment. • Neonicotinoids insecticide such as imidacloprid in the soil environment had greater half-life. • The agricultural field sub-surface soil had a higher concentration of IMI (3445.2 ± 0.09 μg/g). • Photo-biodegradation performance is greater than separate photo degradation and biodegradation. • The bacteria of Ralstonia pickettii with blue-LEDs enhanced IMI degradation rate. Developing monitoring system for paper industrial wastewater treatment system is an important route for wastewater reuse and recycling from wastewater, which are regarded as effective way for cleaner production. A novel hybrid deep leaning CLSTMA model, which based on sequential fusion convolutional neural network (CNN), long short term memory (LSTM) and attention mechanism (AM), was developed to monitor the water quality in a full-scale paper industrial wastewater treatment system for energy conservation and emissions reduction. The hybrid CLSTMA model for predicting water quality of paper industrial wastewater treatment system was divided into three steps: spatial information fusion by using CNN module, temporal information fusion by using LSTM module and variable weighted calculation by using AM module. Compare with other models (CNN, LSTM and CLSTM models), RMSE of CLSTMA model for the effluent chemical oxygen demand (COD eff) reduced by 23.3–31.55%, MAE of CLSTMA model reduced by 38.89–74.50%, R of CLSTMA model increased by 8.29–11.86%. For the effluent suspended solids (SS eff), compared with CNN and LSTM models, RMSE of CLSTMA model reduced by 10.26% and 9.92%, MAE of CLSTMA model reduced by 5.37% and 3.44%, R of CLSTMA model increased by 15.13% and 37.21%, respectively. While, R of CLSTMA was consistent with CLSTM model, but RMSE and MAE of CLSTMA model reduced by 16.07% and 7.49% than the CLSTM model. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed CLSTMA model has a great potential in monitoring paper industrial wastewater treatment system for cleaner production. Recycling wastewater of the pulping and paper-making industry are widely considered for clean production, which heavily rely on the timely and accurate monitoring in paper-making wastewater treatment processes. A novel predicting model based on genetic-deep belief network algorithm was proposed to improve the predictive accuracy and reliability for process monitoring. Considering the deep belief networks (DBN) as a deep learning model is aiming to describe the relationship among variables in a complex process modeling, genetic algorithm (GA) was employed to reduce the input variables dimensionality, simplify the network structure and overcome the dynamic characteristic difficulties of process data in monitoring. Compared with DBN and back propagation neural network (BPNN), the GA-DBN effectively achieved a better predictive accuracy than other tests models in complex wastewater treatment processes. The value of the coefficient of determination of GA-DBN model is increased by 1.71–1.86% and 5.21–9.32%, respectively. The GA-DBN model can be structured with fewer variables or samples to describe the complex paper-making wastewater treatment process, obtaining the better model performance and predictive accuracy. Coupling of methanogenesis and denitrification with elevated nitrate under the methanogenic condition shows potential advantages for (N-) heterocyclic compounds removal and methane recovery simultaneously. However, methane production, sludge characteristics and microbial evolution response to elevated nitrate were seldom reported. Here, an experiment lasing about 300 days under the methanogenic condition with sequential influent nitrate addition as COD/NO 3 −-N ratio from 486.03 to 8.00 was carried out. More than 50% decline of removal rate of COD was observed when the COD/NO 3 −-N ratio varied from 19.97 to 8.00 (232 d). At last, the removal rate of COD recovered to around 94% at the COD/NO 3 −-N ratio of 8.00. About 90% of nitrate was removed through denitrification, and a lower content of methane (40–45%) and effluent acetate and propionate (<10 mg/L) were observed with elevated nitrate. Damage of the granule-shaped and multi-layer structure of the sludge with the lift of nitrate addition was studied. Results of high-throughput sequencing hinted that bacteria accounted for about 70% of total microbes and Proteobacteria , Bacteroidetes , Firmicute and Chloroflexi were the dominant phyla shared with sludge at different COD/NO 3 −-N ratio. Pseudomonas genus and Enterobacteriaceae family (Gammaproteobacteria class, Proteobacteria phylum), Brachymonas genus and Rhodocyclaceae family (Betaproteobacteria class, Proteobacteria phylum) might be vital for the denitrification process under the methanogenic condition. An increase of Smithella and Syntrophobacterale genus with elevated nitrate could be partly contributed to denitrification from the transformation of intermediates as propionate and butyrate. Methanosaeta and Methanobacterium genus were two major methanogens, and Methanosaeta seemed to be less adaptable for elevated nitrate than Methanobacterium. A suitable nitrate addition as influent COD/NO 3 −-N ratio ranged from 121.43 to 15.18 was recommended for the coupling of methanogenesis and denitrification. The results of this work would enhance the understanding of the effects and adaptation with elevated nitrate under the methanogenic condition and instruct engineering practice for low COD/NO 3 −-N wastewater treatment and methane recovery. Residues and distribution of neonicotinoid insecticides (NEOs) in soil-water-sediment systems of the urban and rural areas of Guangzhou, South China were investigated. A total of 104 soil samples from 7 different functional zones and 29 water/sediment samples from creeks were collected. The results showed that at least one neonicotinoid insecticide was detected in all samples. The summed levels of five target neonicotinoids (∑ 5 neonics) were in the range of 0.003–229 ng/g dw for soil samples, 7.94–636 ng/L for water samples, and 0.017–31.3 ng/g dw for sediment samples, with a geometric mean of 0.59 ng/g dw, 153 ng/L and 1.11 ng/g dw, respectively. Soils from agricultural areas contained the highest residual NEOs, followed by commercial, traffic, residential, industrial, educational zones and parks. Among the seven different functional zones studied, imidacloprid was the most dominant NEO in the agricultural areas and commercial zones, whereas acetamiprid was dominant in the other five functional zones with different land-use types. Thiamethoxam and acetamiprid were the main NEOs in water and sediment samples collected from 29 creeks. The pollution of NEOs in soils, water and sediments from rural areas was higher than that in the counterparts from urban areas. Residual concentration of NEOs detected in soils, water and sediments showed significant correlations with each other. The distribution of NEOs in soil-water-sediment systems indicated that NEOs tended to concentrate in water, followed by sediments and soils, especially in urban areas. An evaluation of the exposure to the current level of the ∑ 5 NEOs in Guangzhou suggests a significant risk for aquatic and soil organisms, particularly under chronic exposures. The results of the present study offer valuable data to better understand the contamination and ecological risks of neonicotinoid insecticides in the rapidly developing urbanized region of South China. Adding a small amount of CsI into mixed cation‐halide perovskite film via a one‐step method has been demonstrated as an excellent strategy for high‐performance perovskite solar cells (PSCs). However, the one‐step method generally relies on an antisolvent washing process, which is hard to control and not suitable for fabricating large‐area devices. Here, CsF is employed and Cs is incorporated into perovskite film via a two‐step method. It is revealed that CsF can effectively diffuse into the PbI2 seed film, and drastically enhances perovskite crystallization, leading to high‐quality Cs‐doped perovskite film with a very long photoluminescence carrier lifetime (1413 ns), remarkable light stability, thermal stability, and humidity stability. The fabricated PSCs show power conversion efficiency (PCE) of over 21%, and they are highly thermally stable: in the aging test at 60 °C for 300 h, 96% of the original PCE remains. Elastic pressure sensors play a crucial role in the digital economy, such as in health care systems and human–machine interfacing. However, the low sensitivity of these sensors restricts their further development and wider application prospects. This issue can be resolved by introducing microstructures in flexible pressure-sensitive materials as a common method to improve their sensitivity. However, complex processes limit such strategies. Herein, a cost-effective and simple process was developed for manufacturing surface microstructures of flexible pressure-sensitive films. The strategy involved the combination of MXene–single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) with mass-produced Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) microspheres to form advanced microstructures. Next, the conductive silica gel films with pitted microstructures were obtained through a 3D-printed mold as flexible electrodes, and assembled into flexible resistive pressure sensors. The sensor exhibited a sensitivity reaching 2.6 kPa−1 with a short response time of 56 ms and a detection limit of 5.1 Pa. Cancer cells modulate the recruitment and function of inflammatory cells to create an immunosuppressive microenvironment that favors tumor growth and metastasis. However, the tumor-derived regulatory programs that promote intratumoral immunosuppression remain poorly defined. Here, we show in a KrasLA1/+p53R172HΔg/+-based mouse model that bone morphogenetic protein-4 (BMP4) augments the expression of the T cell co-inhibitory receptor ligand PD-L1 in the mesenchymal subset of lung cancer cells, leading to profound CD8+T cell-mediated immunosuppression, producing tumor growth and metastasis. We previously reported in this model that BMP4 functions as a pro-tumorigenic factor regulated by miR-200 via GATA4/6. Thus, BMP4‐mediated immunosuppression is part of a larger miR‐200‐directed gene expression program in tumors that promotes tumor progression, which could have important implications for cancer treatment. Abstract Occurrence and distribution of five neonicotinoids (NEOs) in surface water and sediment were studied in the Pearl Rivers, including three trunk streams, Dongjiang, Beijiang, Xijiang River (DR, BR and XR), South China. At least one neonicotinoid was detected in surface water and sediment of the Pearl Rivers, with imidacloprid (IMI) and thiamethoxam (THM) being the frequently detected NEOs. Total amount of NEOs (∑ 5 neonics) in surface water and sediment ranged from 24.0 to 322 ng/L, and from 0.11 to 11.6 ng/g dw, respectively. Moreover, the order of contamination level of NEOs in the Pearl Rivers was as follows: XR > DR > BR for surface water, and BR > DR > XR for sediment. Local agricultural activities and effluents of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) could be major sources of NEOs in the Pearl Rivers. Solubilization and dilution of NEOs between surface water and sediment during different seasons (spring and summer) could be attributed to rainfall intensities or climate of the Pearl River Delta. An ecological risk assessment of the exposure to current environmental concentration of imidacloprid and ∑ 5 NEOs suggests a threat to sensitive non-target invertebrates, including aquatic invertebrates. Results would provide a better understanding of NEOs contamination in the Pearl Rivers, as well as being a reliable dataset for decision-making in contamination control and environmental protection. The present study is primarily designed to develop an environmentally-benign approach for the recovery of precious metals, especially gold, from the ever increasingly-discarded electronic wastes ( e -waste). By coupling the metal reduction process with an increase in the intrinsic oxidation state of the aniline polymers, and the subsequent re-protonation and reduction of the intrinsically oxidized polymer to the protonated emeraldine (EM) salt, polyaniline (PANi) films and polyaniline coated cotton fibers are able to recover metallic gold from acid/halide leaching solutions of electronic wastes spontaneously and sustainably. The current technique, which does not require the use of extensive extracting reagents or external energy input, can recover as much as 90% of gold from the leaching acidic solutions. The regeneration of polyaniline after gold recovery, as confirmed by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements, promises the continuous operation using the current approach. As an indispensable part of wearable devices and mechanical arms, stretchable conductors have received extensive attention in recent years. The design of a high-dynamic-stability, stretchable conductor is the key technology to ensure the normal transmission of electrical signals and electrical energy of wearable devices under large mechanical deformation, which has always been an important research topic domestically and abroad. In this paper, a stretchable conductor with a linear bunch structure is designed and prepared by combining numerical modeling and simulation with 3D printing technology. The stretchable conductor consists of a 3D-printed bunch-structured equiwall elastic insulating resin tube and internally filled free-deformable liquid metal. This conductor has a very high conductivity exceeding 104 S cm−1, good stretchability with an elongation at break exceeding 50%, and great tensile stability, with a relative change in resistance of only about 1% at 50% tensile strain. Finally, this paper demonstrates it as a headphone cable (transmitting electrical signals) and a mobile phone charging wire (transmitting electrical energy), which proves its good mechanical and electrical properties and shows good application potential. The impacts of excimer laser annealing on the crystallinity of Ge epilayers on Si substrate grown by low- and high-temperature two-step approach in an ultra-high vacuum chemical vapor deposition system were investigated. The samples were treated by excimer laser annealing (ELA) at various laser power densities with the temperature above the melting point of Ge, while below that of Si, resulting in effective reduction of point defects and dislocations in the Ge layer with smooth surface. The full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) of X-ray diffraction patterns of the low-temperature Ge epilayer decreases with the increase in laser power density, indicating the crystalline improvement and negligible effect of Ge-Si intermixing during ELA processes. The short laser pulse time and large cooling rate cause quick melting and recrystallization of Ge epilayer on Si in the non-thermal equilibrium process, rendering tensile strain in Ge epilayer as calculated quantitatively with thermal mismatch between Si and Ge. The FWHM of X-ray diffraction patterns is significantly reduced for the two-step grown samples after treated by a combination of ELA and conventional furnace thermal annealing, indicating that the crystalline of Ge epilayer is improved more effectively with pre- annealing by excimer laser. The Partial nitritation-Anammox (PN/A) process can be restricted when treating high ammonia nitrogen wastewater containing antibiotics. This study aims to explore the response mechanism of the PN/A process under antibiotic stress. Results showed the PN/A process achieved a nitrogen removal rate higher than 1.01 ± 0.03 kg N/m3/d under long-term sulfamethazine stress. The increase of extracellular polymers from 22.52 to 43.96 mg/g VSS was conducive to resisting antibiotic inhibitory. The increase of Denitratisoma and SM1A02 abundance as well as functional genes nirS and nirK indicated denitrifiers should play an important role in the stability of the PN/A system under sulfamethazine stress. In addition, antibiotic-resistant genes (ARGs) sul1 and intI1 significantly increased by 8.78 and 5.12 times of the initial values to maintain the resistance of PN/A process to sulfamethazine stress. A retrospective study was conducted on 51 patients undergoing hip fracture surgery to investigate the factors associated with the formation of deep venous thrombosis (DVT). The independent sample t-test and correlation analysis were used to sort out and analyze the data. The findings are as follows. (1) Different gender samples showed significant differences in the Caprini score and thrombus location. Most DVTs in females are located in the posterior tibial vein and intermuscular veins. The Caprini score of females was significantly higher than that of males. (2) Age displays a positive correlation with DVT, coronary heart disease, hypertension, and different surgical types, respectively. (3) There is a correlation between age and operation duration. (4) Hyperlipidemia and cerebrovascular disease show a positive correlation with DVT. (5) There was a significant negative correlation between the Caprini score and the quantification of D-dimer. This indicates that in this sample, the higher the patients' Caprini score is, the lower the quantitation of D-dimer will be. (6) Hyperlipidemia and cardiac insufficiency show a positive correlation with cerebrovascular disease. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), which are formed by association of metal cations or clusters of cations ('nodes') with soft organic bridging ligands ('linkers'), are a fascinating class of flexible crystalline hybrid materials offering potential strategy for the construction of flexible electronics. In this study, a high-quality MOF nanofilm, HKUST-1, on flexible gold-coated polyethylene terephthalate substrates is fabricated using liquid phase epitaxy approach. Uniform and reproducible resistive switching effect, which can be sustained under the strain of as high as 2.8%, and over the wide temperature range of -70 to +70 °C, is observed for the first time in the all solid-state Au/HKUST-1/Au/thin film structures. Through conductive atomic force microscopic and depth-profiling X-ray photoelectron spectroscopicanalysis, it is proposed that the electric field-induced migration of the Cu­2+ ions, which may lead to subsequent pyrolysis of the trimesic acid linkers and thus the formation of highly conducting filaments, could be the possible origin for the observed uniform resistance switching in HKUST-1 nanofilms. Abstract: A novel electrochemical sensing system for Pb2+ has been developed based on atypical icosahedral gold nanoparticle (AI-AuNPs) modification and the improved rolling circle amplification (RCA). The newly synthesized AI-AuNPs which were applied to modify the gold electrode surface greatly enhanced the sensitivity and expanded the detection range due to its large specific surface area and a large density of irrational kinks and step atoms on the particle surface. Additionally, the improved RCA introduced a manipulated circular template DNA which can be hybridized with the primer obtained from the DNAzymes catalysis reaction in the presence of Pb2+ as a cofactor to simplify the RCA procedure, and the largely elongated RCA products at the same time efficiently blocked the electron transfer at the electrode surface, thus significantly increased the electrochemical signal. The design of the label free electrochemical impendence sensing strategy was evidenced to be a highly sensitive and selective method for the lead ions monitoring compared with the previous reports and the detection range was 1pM–1μΜ with a detection limit of 290fM (3δ rule). The high water solubility and ecotoxicity of thiamethoxam (TMX) is a potential hazard to ecosystems and human health. Here, a strain of Bacillus cereus with high TMX degradation activity was isolated from the sediment of the A2O process in the wastewater treatment plant and was able to utilize TMX as its sole carbon source. Under different environmental conditions, the degradation efficiency of TMX by Bacillus cereus -S1 (strain S1) ranged from 41.0% to 68.9% after 216 h. The optimum degradation conditions were DO = 3.5 mg/L and pH 9.0. The addition of an appropriate carbon-to-nitrogen ratio could accelerate the degradation of TMX. A plausible biodegradation pathway has been proposed based on the identified metabolites and their corresponding degradation pathways. TMX can be directly converted into Clothianidin (CLO), TMX-dm-hydroxyl and TMX-Urea by a series of reactions such as demethylation, oxadiazine ring cleavage and C=N substitution by hydroxy group. The main products were TMX-dm-hydroxyl and TMX-Urea, the amount of CLO production is relatively small. This study aims to provide a new approach for efficient degradation of TMX; furthermore, strain S1 is a promising biological source for in situ remediation of TMX contamination. This study assessed the usefulness of Pea Pisum sativum peels S-modified biochar (PPB–S) and Triethylenetetramine (TETA)-modified biochar (PPB-T) as improvers for biogas generation from green algae Ulva lactuca either individually or co-digested with Pea peels (PPs). BET, FTIR, TGA, XRD, XPS, SEM coupled with EDX were used to characterize the PPB-S and PPB-T biochars. EDX, FTIR, and XPS analyses proved the formation of sulphur and nitrogen groups on the surface of PPB-S and PPB-T. The kinetic study confirmed that the modified Gompertz model fits the experimental data satisfactorily, with R 2 ranging between 0.948 and 0.991. The results suggested that adding 50 mg/L of PPB-S significantly increased the biogas production yield compared to all other studied treatments, either individually or in co-digestion with PPs. The extreme biogas production (498 mL/g VS) was formed when 50 mg/L of PPB-S was added to U. lactuca. According to Response surface methodology (RSM), the maximum biogas production among all experiments is 460.91 (ml/g VS), achieved for U. lactuca and PPB-S treatment corresponds to 54 days contact time and 50 mg/L of PPB-S dose. The direct electron transfer mechanism has been investigated in detail, and it is confirmed that conductive PPB-S can support electron transfer and promote methane production, as proved by the XPS and FTIR analyses, which the creation of sulphur groups on the PPB-S surface may propose. In this study, the matched case-control study was used. Nineteen cases of severe pain in the early postoperative period among 55 patients were set as the observation group, and 57 cases of simultaneous rotator cuff repair without severe pain were matched in a 1 : 3 ratio as the control group. Patients' general information, disease characteristics, anesthesia and analgesia scheme, and operation information were collected. Frequency statistics, Wilcoxon signed rank sum test, regulatory effect analysis, and Poisson regression analysis were performed on these data. Some findings are included in the analysis. (1) There was a markable difference of 0.01 between the preoperative 48 h maximum pain value and the postoperative 48 h maximum pain value in the observation group. (2) There was a markable difference of 0.01 between the size and shape of the wound tear and the maximum pain value at 48 h after operation in the observation group. (3) When the number of opioid use affected the maximum pain value at 48 h after operation, the regulatory variables (type, quantity, and number of days of postoperative analgesics) were at different levels, and the impact amplitude had markable differences. (4) Age has a markable negative impact on the postoperative hospital stay. (5) The operation duration has a markable positive relationship with the postoperative hospital stay. The overuse of thiamethoxam (THM) has threatened the survival of living organisms and it is necessary to find an environmentally friendly material to remove THM frequently detected in water. Biochar prepared from cow manure modified with ZnCl 2 (Zn-CBC) was used to remove THM. Compared to the unmodified cow manure biochar (CBC), the removal ratio of THM by Zn-CBC was enhanced 35 times. In the mechanistic analysis, SEM and BET showed that Zn-CBC had a good pore structure and its specific surface area (166.502 m2 g−1) increased to 17 times that of CBC, indicating that Zn-CBC had good pore adsorption properties. The adsorption kinetic and isotherm implied that the main mechanism was chemisorption including π-π interaction and H-bonding. Furthermore, the stable graphitized structure of Zn-CBC allowed for efficient adsorption and reusability. In addition, this study constructed an intelligent prediction model using batch experiment data, and the high R2 (0.978) and low RMSE (0.057) implied that the model could accurately and quantitatively predict the adsorption efficiency. Free nitrous acid (FNA) is a critical metric for stabilization of ANAMMOX but can not be directly and immediately measured by sensors or chemical measurement method, which hinders the effective management and operation for ANAMMOX. This study focuses on FNA prediction using hybrid model based on temporal convolutional network (TCN) combined with attention mechanism (AM) optimized by multiobjective tree-structured parzen estimator (MOTPE), called MOTPE-TCNA. A case study in an ANAMMOX reactor is carried out. Results show that nitrogen removal rate (NRR) is highly correlated with FNA concentration, indicating that it can forecast the operational status by predicting FNA. Then, MOTPE successfully optimizes the hyperparameters of TCN, helping TCN achieve a high prediction accuracy, and AM furtherly improves model accuracy. MOTPE-TCNA obtains the highest prediction accuracy, whose R 2 value gets 0.992, increasing 1.71–11.80% compared to other models. As a deep neural network model, MOTPE-TCNA has more advantages than traditional machine learning methods in FNA prediction, which is beneficial to maintain the stable operation and easy control for ANAMMOX process. This study assessed the efficiency of S-modified biochar (WPB-S) and N-modified biochar (WPB-T) using Triethylenetetramine (TETA) derived from watermelon peels biomass as an additive for the production of biogas from brown algae cystoceira myrica (C. myrica) either co-digested or individually with WPB-S or WPB-T. BET, FTIR, TGA, XRD, XPS, SEM, and EDX were used to characterize the prepared biochars. FTIR analysis confirmed the establishment of S and N groups on the surface of biochar. The modified Gompertz kinetic model fits the investigational data satisfactorily, with R 2 ranging between 0.907 and 0.990. Adding WPB-S at doses of 50 mg/L to C. myrica considerably enlarged the biogas yield (623 mL/g VS) compared to all other treatments. Finally, according to RSM study, the maximum biogas production (585.53 mL/g VS) was achieved for C. myrica and WPB-S treatment after 48 days of contact time using 50 mg/L WPB-S dose. The mechanism of DIET has been studied in detail, confirming that WPB-S can support electron transfer and conversion of CO to CH 4. The residue levels and composition profiles of phthalate acid esters (PAEs) in water and sediment samples were investigated in eight urban lakes of Guangzhou, China. A total of 23 water and 16 sediment samples were collected. Results showed that all target PAEs were detected with dimethyl phthalate and di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate as the most abundant compounds. The total concentrations of PAEs from different urban lakes were in the range of 273–1173 ng/L for water and 16.5–242 ng/g for sediments, with the geometric mean of 515 ng/L and 75.0 ng/g, respectively. Zhongshan Park Lake and Liwan Lake were the most highly contaminated with PAEs in water and in sediment, respectively. The spatial distribution of PAEs exhibited that distribution coefficients of PAEs between sediment and water are consistent with hydrophilicity of PAEs, and pollution levels and characteristics of PAEs in different lakes had a close relationship with the geographical location of the lake, industrial and commercial types, population density, and the association between the lake and the Pearl River. According to Pearson correlation analysis, PAEs would be derived from similar or identical sources. Imidacloprid (IMI) which has been widely detected in the natural water environment is potentially genotoxic to humans and should be effectively eliminated. Persulfate-based advanced oxidation processes are considered to be reliable means aiming at organic pollutants degradation, while an efficient catalyst is urgently needed for the activation of the reaction. As a two-dimensional material, 1T-MoS 2 is expected to be applied for the activation of persulfates due to its abundant active sites and good electrical conductivity. Therefore, in this study, 1T-MoS 2 was synthesized by a simple and safe two-step solvothermal reaction and proposed as an emerging activator of peroxymonosulfate (PMS) for the degradation of IMI. It was found that 1T-MoS 2 has significantly better catalytic performance on PMS than 2H-MoS 2 and Bulk-MoS 2 , reaching. 76.4 % at pH = 3. The degradation rate of IMI reduced under alkaline conditions due to the inhibition of catalytic processes. Among the different coexisting anions, H C O 3 - had the greatest degree of interference and inhibition to the degradation process, resulting in the lowest IMI degradation rate for only 42.45 %. Quenching experiments and EPR analysis showed that S O 4 - ∙ and OH were the main reactive oxygen species in the 1T-MoS 2 /PMS process. In addition, the IMI degradation pathways analyzed by UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS included dehydrogenation, electrophilic addition, heterocyclic ring breakage and intramolecular rearrangement. Wastewater recycling is the measure with enormous potentiality to achieve carbon neutrality in wastewater treatment plants. High-precision online monitoring can improve the stability of wastewater treatment system and help wastewater recycling. A new water quality prediction CSWLSTM-GPR model, which fused the spatial feature of convolutional neural network (CNN), the temporal feature of sharing-weight long short-term memory (SWLSTM) and the probabilistic reliability of Gaussian process regression (GPR), was applied for monitoring papermaking wastewater treatment system with high-precision point prediction and interval prediction. Compared with SWLSTM-GPR and CLSTM-GPR, RMSE of CSWLSTM-GPR reduced by more than 48.9% on effluent chemical oxygen demand (COD eff), MAE reduced by more than 49.3%, R2 increased by more than 25.14%, R increased by more than 7.07%. And for the effluent suspended solids (SS eff), CSWLSTM-GPR had better predictive results than SWLSTM-GPR and CSWLSTM-GPR. Compared with SWLSTM-GPR, RMSE, MAE, R, R2 of CSWLSTM-GPR on effluent suspended solids (SS eff) were improved by 4.8%, 6.1%, 29.01% and 31.15%, respectively. In this paper, a novel dynamic optimization control based on multi-objective ant lion optimization (DMOALO) and deep learning algorithm is proposed, which could optimize energy consumption (EC) and effluent quality (EQ) simultaneously in the wastewater treatment processes. In order to overcome the difficulty that there is no clear function relationship between the dynamic parameters and the performance indicators, a novel deep belief network (DBN) model for predicting EC and EQ as objective function is proposed. Then, this objective function with constraints is solved by DMOALO method, and the optimal solution would be selected by the intelligent decision system. Finally, Proportional Integral (PI) controllers would be used to track and control these optimal dynamic parameters. DBN-DMOALO-PI optimization control strategy is evaluated in benchmark simulation model 1(BSM1), the simulation results demonstrated this novel optimization control strategy could reduce the EC significantly while meeting the standards of effluent quality parameters. EC is decreased by 3.31% compared with PI optimization control strategy. Therefore, this novel method may reduce the cost of wastewater treatment process effectively, and realize the carbon neutrality in wastewater treatment process. Imidacloprid (IMI), as the most-consumed pesticide, has posed a severe threat to the water ecosystem due to its recalcitrance and inefficient elimination in the traditional wastewater treatment. Herein, a heterogeneous electro–Fenton (EF) system coupled with 3D–MoO 2 –porous biochar (PBC) cocatalytic electrodes, abbreviated as 3D–MPE–EF, is initially applied to promote the elimination of IMI in the agrochemical wastewater from pesticide production. The elimination rate of IMI by 3D–MPE–EF system is 18.15 times higher than that by traditional EF system at pH 7.0. The utilization of 3D–MoO 2 –PBC electrodes sufficiently compensates for inherent deficiencies of traditional EF system. The circular utilization of Fe is also addressed by 3D–MoO 2 –PBC cocatalytic electrodes to reduce the consumption of Fe2+ and the deposition of iron mud. Through comparison, MoO 2 is considered the most appropriate cocatalyst in terms of the reutilization of Fe and degradation of IMI. Eight mechanisms are identified in the degradation pathways of IMI by UPLC–Q–TOF–MS. The ecotoxicities of IMI are remarkably attenuated in the 3D–MPE–EF system. This study provides insights into the roles of 3D–MoO 2 –PBC cocatalytic electrodes in the enhanced elimination of IMI in heterogeneous EF system.
