Comprehensive Summary: Organic heterostructures that can integrate the physiochemical properties of two or more substances have attracted widespread attention in the field of optoelectronics. However, the epitaxial growth process between different organic material molecules is unpredictable, and the precise synthesis of organic heterostructures is still particularly challenging. Herein, through the synergy approach of polymorphism and cocrystal engineering, a series of organic branched heterostructures have been successfully prepared. Interestingly, by simply adjusting the solvent ratio, different crystalline phases of perylene microplates can be epitaxially grown on the perylene‐OFN cocrystal microwires, which provides a feasible approach for the preparation of organic heterostructures. Meanwhile, these as‐prepared organic branched heterostructures can realize multi‐channel and multi‐color emission, and act as optical logic gates, which promotes the multifunctional integrated optoelectronics. Due to the unique physical and chemical properties of fullerene (C 60) molecules, micro/nanostructures of fullerene molecules have exhibited great potential in the field of optoelectronics. The growth process of C 60 micro/nanostructures can be controlled fabricated through different preparation approaches, such as liquid-liquid interface precipitation, template method. When adjusting the solvent, temperature and concentration, the morphology and the size of the C 60 micro/nanostructures will be changed. Therefore, one-dimensional structure, polygonal structure, nanoflower structure, and mesh structure can be obtained. Due to the low recombination energy and high mobility of C 60 , it also has good optoelectronic properties, and C 60 micro/nanostructures with different morphologies will also affect its optoelectronic properties. In this review, we mainly summarize the C 60 micro/nanostructures prepared by different methods and their applications in the field of optoelectronics. In the end, the perspectives for the future development are given, hopefully to provide useful guidance for the future research on C 60 micro/nanostructures. Toward the evolution of integrated optoelectronic circuits, it is vital matter to realize 2D optical waveguide at micro/nanoscale. However, due to the waveguiding principle of the traditional dielectric waveguide, the transverse and longitudinal dimensions cannot be greatly reduced, thus the size of photonic apparatus is far from reaching the size level for the microelectronic device. Therefore, it is difficult to achieve a high‐level hybrid integration of integrated optical path and microelectronic circuit. However, the organic crystals with polygonal structure and hierarchical structure as the medium also can form optical waveguide by confining photons/electrons at the micro/nanoscale along different directions, and these organic microcrystals can be well applied into the ultracompact optoelectronic devices. Herein, the fabrication of organic crystals as the medium of 2D optical waveguide is briefly introduced, as well as the 2D optical waveguide phenomenon existing in these polygonal and hierarchical microcrystals. There is an urgent need for a point-of-care testing (POCT) method in developing and underserved regions to distinguish between two Monkeypox virus (MPXV) clades, given their varying transmissibility and clinical manifestations. In this paper, we target the specific complement protein gene fragment of two MPXV clades and construct a high-performance upconversion nanoparticles–based lateral flow assay (UCNPs-based LFA) with double T-lines and a shared C-line. This enables qualitative and quantitative dual-mode detection when combined with a smartphone and a benchtop fluorescence analyzer. The developed LFA exhibits stable performance, convenient operation, rapid readout (within 8 min), and a much lower limit of detection (LOD) (~ pM level) compared to existing POCT methods. Optical probe-based biosensors (OPBs) have proven instrumental in human health monitoring. The growing portability and miniaturization of OPBs have rendered them cost-effective and user-friendly, presenting great potential for the advancement of point-of-care testing (POCT) platforms. To further expand their applications, ongoing efforts have been made to enhance their detection performance, particularly focusing on sensitivity. This review provides a comprehensive overview on existing OPBs in POCT and summarizes their underlying detection principles. Additionally, this review highlights four strategies and approaches for enhancing the performance of OPBs: optimizing target-capturing capability, improving the conversion efficiency of biological signals to optical signals, enhancing the separation ability of signal separation system, and optimizing the signal recognition ability of the reader. In this work, three-dimensional ZnS/reduced graphene oxide/polypyrrole ternary composites were synthesized. The as-prepared composites are investigated as electrode materials for supercapacitors and lithium-ion batteries. For the application of supercapacitor in three electrode system, its discharge specific capacitance and energy density at 1 A/g are 1175.8 F/g and 80.0 Wh/kg after 5000 cycles, respectively. Meanwhile, its cycle stability at 1 A/g is up to 151% during 5000 loops. For the application of lithium-ion battery, its discharge specific capacitance and energy density at 100 mA/g can be up to 1446.9 mAh/g and 955.6 Wh/kg after 200 cycles, respectively. The cycle stability of the ternary composite is up to 157% at 100 mA/g during 200 loops. The excellent electrochemical performance of the composites could be ascribed to the three-dimensional structure which facilitates the penetration of the electrolyte and the insertion/extraction process of Li+ and the synergistic effect between organic and inorganic materials. The results indicate that the ZnS/reduced graphene oxide/polypyrrole composite are promising electrode materials for high-performance supercapacitors and lithium-ion batteries. Abstract The strain RS20D capable of significantly improving yogurt texture was isolated from traditional fermented vegetable products, and identified as Lactobacillus plantarum RS20D. The total exopolysaccharides (EPS) were prepared from reconstituted skim milk fermentation by RS20D, and purified through DEAE-Sepharose CL-6B and Sephadex G-100, and consequently the purified fraction designated as RS-r2 was obtained. The further work aimed to elucidate the structural features of RS-r2 via FT-IR spectrum, HPSEC and monosaccharide composition analysis was carried out. The results showed that RS-r2 was a novel acidic heteropolysaccharide mainly consisted of glucose, galactose and glucosamine in a molar ratio of 2.0:1.5:1. The molecular weight was estimated to be 1.69 × 106 Da. The EPS had a high degradation temperature (250 °C), suggesting its high thermal stability. SEM and AFM analysis of EPS further revealed chain microstructure anchored with many regular spherical shape in aqueous solution. In vitro test showed that total EPS secreted by RS20D could stimulate macrophage RAW264.7 to release NO significantly and up-regulated the gene expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines at the mRNA level. Current study suggested that RS20D could be a potential source of immunoregulatory polysaccharide and may be applied as a functional starter culture to improve yogurt texture in the dairy industry.
