Nanowires with anisotropic morphologies have been applied in various scientific and technological areas. It is also widely employed to fabricate nanowires into high-dimensional superstructures (arrays, networks etc.) to overcome the shortcomings of low-dimensional nanowires. However, typical strategies for constructing these superstructures are restricted to complicated and harsh synthetic conditions, not to mention unique 3D structures with advanced properties beyond common superstructures. Herein, we report an unusual network of α-MnO2 nanowires with structure-induced hydrophilicity and conductivity. In the network, the nanowires are interconnected from all directions by nodes, and the 3D network structure is formed from the endless connection of nodes in a node-by-node way. The unique network structure brings about high hydrophilicity and conductivity, both of which are positive factors for an efficient electrocatalyst. Accordingly, the α-MnO2 network was tested for electrocatalytic water oxidation and showed significantly enhanced activity compared with isolated α-MnO2 nanowires and 3D α-MnO2 microspheres. This study not only provides a synthetic route toward an advanced network structure but also a new idea for the design of materials for electrochemistry with both efficient mass diffusion and charge transfer.

Background: Adenomatoid Tumor of the Adrenal Gland (AT-AG) are very rare. As the most commonly used clinical examination program, CT scan can make benign and malignant diagnosis by evaluating the characteristics of lesion shape, density and blood vessels, and provide imaging basis for treatment decisions.Objective: To investigate the clinical, pathological and CT imaging features of AT-AG.Methods: The clinical, pathological and CT findings of three AT-AG patients confirmed by surgery or pathology were reviewed and analyzed with reference to nine cases in literature reports.Results: Among the 12 patients with AT-AG, 11 were male, with a median age of 40 years; 11 were diagnosed by physical examination or accident, while 1 was treated for right lumbago. Pathologically, they were characterized by microcapsule/glandular tube structures, absence of cell heteromorphosis and mitosis, positive immunohistochemical mesothelial markers, and negative endothelial markers; In addition, all of them were confirmed with single adrenal cystic or cystic solid masses on CT, including 2 with multilocular cyst and 3 with calcification. Among them, nine (75%) were oval, with the long diameter parallel to the long axis of adrenal gland, and 8 (67%) showed mild and moderate enhancement of capsule wall and solid components on enhanced scan.Conclusion: AT-AG is more common in young and middle-aged men than other population groups, and it constitutes microcapsule/glandular structures under microscope. Its immune histo chemical mesothelial markers show positive, while endothelial markers are negative. CT findings reveal a mostly oval solitary cyst or solid mass, parallel to the long axis of adrenal gland, with mild and moderate enhancement on enhanced CT scan. Thus, being familiar with the clinical, pathological and CT features of AT-AG helps boost the understanding of the disease

The preparation of highly active, low cost and stable electrocatalysts via simple and mild methods for overall water splitting is significant for energy conversion and storage. Herein, we used a nickel selenite complex [{Ni(TMEDA)SeO3}2] to obtain NiSe nanospheres on three-dimensional carbon cloth via electrodeposition. The performance of the as-prepared electrodes (NiSe-TMEDA/CC) was investigated in alkaline solution for water splitting, exhibiting bifunctional OER and HER activity with small overpotentials of 226 and 30.8 mV to achieve a current density of 100 mA cm−2, respectively. Using this bifunctional electrode, a water electrolyzer only required a cell voltage of 1.52 V to deliver a current density of 100 mA cm−2 with excellent long term stability. Compared with the traditional separate Ni and Se sources, the single-molecule precursor is beneficial to form uniform NiSe on the substrate. This work provides a reference for the preparation of bifunctional electrocatalysts for water splitting via single molecule electrodeposition.

The development of cheap and efficient electrodes for water splitting is an ongoing challenge. Herein, a nickel foam-based monolithic electrode is reported with high performance for both hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions in neutral media. The karst landform-featured electrode consists of metallic Ni in the valley areas and Ni/α-Ni(OH)2 heterostructures as towers on the surface. Remarkably, the electrode can switch between HER and OER reversibly and flexibly with long-term viability. Scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) analysis and computational studies proved the vital roles of the karst landform structure and the interface of the heterostructure in its efficient bifunctionality. Combined with a common photovoltaic cell, a water electrolysis cell with the bifunctional electrode can implement splitting of natural seawater (pH ∼ 8.0) with a high solar-to-hydrogen (STH) conversion efficiency of 16.5%. This cheap, flexible, robust, easily obtained and bifunctional electrode has potential applications for water splitting in the hydrogen economy.

Controlling the morphology and size of materials is very important for their chemical and physical properties. Herein, we synthesized a novel hexagonal annular Mn(OH)F by a simple hydrothermal method. We also investigated the growth process of the materials from hexagonal block to hexagonal ring via controlling the hydrothermal temperature and time. Comparing with the hexagonal block, the hexagonal rings showed enhanced electrocatalytic water oxidation performance in alkaline solutions. The observed catalytic performance of this novel Mn(OH)F is correlated to its unique structure. Furthermore, we expect that Mn(OH)F would be a new type of Mn-based water oxidation catalyst.

Due to their own attributes, small and medium-sized enterprises are quite different from large enterprises in various aspects of enterprise management, especially in human resource management. In mature large enterprises, there is a relatively perfect human resource management system, while in small and medium-sized enterprises, most enterprises have a set of human resource management mode, but on the whole, it is not perfect and has many problems. This paper takes small and medium-sized enterprises as the research foothold, studies the problems in human resource management, discusses the relevant research countermeasures, and provides suggestions and reference for the human resource management of small and medium-sized enterprises.

In this paper, key methods and prototype that integrate OGC Web Service (OWS) into grid environment is analysed and we describe a resource-oriented architectural approach. The concrete is a progress in which a model extracting stateful resource under WSRF (Web Service Resource Framework) is provided. This paper presents OWS2GRID, a framework that extends the Introduce Toolkit [1] for supporting OGC web service on Grid environments. The OWS2GRID framework adopts the WSRF specification for creating grid service resource and publishing them to distributed grid nodes. The OWS2GRID user interface is a modified template factory that converts stateless OGC WS to stateful wsrf-enabled service. The paper describes the design and the implementation of OWS2GRID using a release of the WSRF library. To evaluate the efficiency of the proposed system, a result of wrapped OWS in Globus indicate better performance and collaborative than standard OWS through a visual component in OWS2GRID.

this paper research on spatial information service laws of development and application from angle of model and put forward the basic conception of spatial information service model basing on information service model. It presents a complete structure of model, and detailedly explains elements, the main characteristics and principles of interaction. Consider that the reciprocity between the various elements is the main inner factor which can produce a variety of different services type, and thus lead to different spatial information services with a variety of different forms. At last this paper accord to the relationship between the inner factor and elements to bring forward the abstract services classification results which currently can cover almost all the spatial information service types, and give theoretical support.

In order to provide an access method which is independent of the specific data structure and file formation, in this paper, the design and implementation of GDE(Geographic Data Engine) is discussed based on the research of geographic data modeling course. The research of GDE is the GIS applied Platform design based on geographic data modeling and data structure driving. Related theory involved GDE and design tactic have been discussed conceptually and the implementation of GDE model has been presented.

This paper presents a new method to describe the relationship between services, which refers to the basic concepts of geometric topology. It uses the relationships between points and lines to describe that from input and output information flow in the service, further to produce a static invoking relationship between services. According to this abstract relationship between the points and lines of the spatial information service, it can generate a valid topological relationship between the services with point elements, line elements and topology relationship tables. The topological relationship between services can put into one-to-one relationship with information processing each process, and thus can improve the speed and performing efficiency of the service combination and matching. This article defines a concept of the point elements and line elements in the service topology, describes the properties of the elements, sets up four kinds of topological relationships and their corresponding information process. A proposal of the method of establishing topological service description is provided. Ultimately there are specific examples to represent the construction process of services topological relationships and their final results.
