Insufficiencies detected in the performance of leg techniques of the school judokas of Pinar del Río motivated the realization of this research, which aims to develop a set of special exercises that contribute to the development of the work of coaches with this group of techniques to improve the performance of the 14 athletes in this category. At the beginning of this study, observations were made of training sessions, control stops and preparatory competitions to obtain direct information on how these actions are manifested. An interview with the coaches was also used to find out their knowledge, criteria, and performance at work with these techniques, and the survey was used to assess the athletes' knowledge about the importance of technical preparation in these actions. In addition, a measurement was carried out by means of a technical test, to know the behavior of the execution of these in the athletes reason for research, in which the variables analyzed were: score obtained, total of actions and form of performance (direct, combination or as a counterattack). This study found the knowledge of the deficiencies presented by these athletes, in the execution of leg techniques, which negatively influence competitive results since these are performed with great frequency during combat due to their link with other techniques in performing combinations and counterattacks. This work is a valuable tool for the work of the coaches aimed at the technical preparation of the judoka.

Bearing in mind the importance of pitching and its weight for success in the baseball game, the objective of this work is focused on the analysis of the effectiveness in the strike zone of the pitchers of the Pinar del Río baseball team, first category, participants in the National Series. For this, we worked with a population made up of the 13 pitchers that make up the pitching staff and the two coaches responsible for preparing them in that team, for which scientific methods and techniques were used, such as the analysis of the statistics of each one. of games as well as observation, survey and interview. The analysis of the results obtained reveals that 61.5 % of the team's pitchers, mainly the youngest, have problems with the control of the pitches in the strike zone, outlining a series of insufficiencies related to the mastery of mechanics of pitching, the scarce repertoire of pitches, together with a low command over them, among other elements related to the preparation. These results, together with the systematic control and analysis of the work of the pitchers during the games, constitute important elements to draw up more efficient strategies in the preparation of these athletes, tempered by their individual characteristics and inadequacies, in order to achieve greater effectiveness of the same and therefore exceed the team's competitive results.

The technical preparation as one of the components of the sport preparation in rowing has a great importance because of the relationship with the competitive result. During the technical preparation of the rowers, juvenile category of Pinar del Río, deficiencies have been detected in the execution of the rowing technique, in each of its phases. That is why, for this study, the objective was to characterize the technical preparation of the juvenile male category rowers of the EIDE "Ormani Arenado" of Pinar del Río. The population used was composed of nine athletes of the juvenile category and six coaches, including the one who leads the preparation of this team mentioned above. For the development of this research, theoretical and empirical methods were used. Among the theoretical methods are systemic-structural-functional, historical-logical, analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction. The empirical methods used were document analysis, observation, interview and survey. The use of these methods made it easier for the researcher to know the real state of the technical preparation of these athletes and showed deficiencies such as execution errors, the non-existence of tests to evaluate the technique, it is not planned or controlled taking into account the individual characteristics of the athletes; however, it is considered by the coaches, as an aspect of great importance, the technical preparation in this sport.

Raising the quality of the teaching-learning process is one of the greatest efforts of a teacher. To this end, all the efforts made must be based on the scientific-methodological updating of the contents taught. The students of the 1st year of the Physical Culture career of the Faculty "Nancy Uranga Romagoza" do not have enough and updated bibliography for the subject Basic Gymnastics and specifically on warming up. This is one of the topics that are taught and is considered among the most important for its functions within a class of any of the manifestations of Physical Culture. Given this expressed situation, it was proposed as an objective in this study, to elaborate a reference material that facilitates the theoretical-methodological knowledge on the warming-up, in which the aspects that are more difficult in their understanding are reflected. Theoretical and empirical methods were used to facilitate the research process. This study was carried out with the four teachers of the specialty of Basic Gymnastics and the 33 students of the Regular Day Course. The material provided facilitates the acquisition of knowledge about warm-up by providing the student with fundamental aspects to take into account for teaching in Physical Education classes.

The present work deals with the theoretical referents to be considered for the evaluation of impact in postgraduate specialties, in the high performance sports of the Cuban sports system. The bibliographic study from the precursors to the present, deals with the conceptualization of evaluation, the evaluation of performance, and its relation with the evaluation of impact. The use of investigative methods of the empirical level such as the documentary analysis, the survey, the group interview and the criterion of experts, allowed to build a logical relationship to fulfill the proposed objective that consists on establishing the general theoretical positions for the impact evaluation. The constant changes of the requirements in the Code of Points of the last Olympic cycles, demand today more than ever of an adequate planning and control of the process of sports preparation of the gymnasts. The control of the intensity of the training of competitive exercises during the special preparation or microcycles of transformation, is an aspect that is hindered by the non-definition of indicators to be taken into account in the rhythmic gymnastics related to the characteristics of the load (external and internal) and the results to be achieved by the gymnasts. The present investigation is derived from an institutional scientific project that has been developing for four years. The objective of this study is to determine the regularities of the behavior of intensity indicators during the practical application of the methodology for the control in the gymnasts of the School of Sports Initiation (EIDE) in Pinar del Río. The application of several scientific methods were very useful: theoretical, empirical and mathematical-statistical, emphasizing the observation, measurement and calculation of average and percentage. The methodology was applied to the five gymnasts of the joint exercise. These take an average of three years in the youth category. The results were analyzed in methodological workshops by a group of trainers with experience in sports. From here an analysis was made for the restructuring of the planning of the set during the preparation, taking into account the individual results of the measured indicators.

The sport since its evolution, has marked transcendental events in the history of nations, events that when written, become invaluable heritage. Handball preserves and enriches its history at an international level. Many authors have given their versions on the introduction and development of handball in Cuba; this history has been enriched with the valuable written works of some provinces. Pinar del Río has been a power of this sport at national level, contributing great figures who have represented Cuba in international events, but it does not have a written history, which limits the integral formation of the athletes of the sport and the graduates of the race Physical Culture. During the investigation, theoretical, empirical and statistical methods were used, emphasizing by their relevance the logical historical method and the testimony. The results were presented in a brochure structured with a cover, introduction, development, Bibliography and Annexes, reflecting the introduction of the sport, the names of the first atheists, coaches, referees, managers, athletes and coaches that comprised the national team, among other aspects of interest. These results are of significant importance in the training of the athletes and allow to be approached as content of the theoretical preparation, besides that it enriches the local history and the history of the sport of Pinar del Rio.

El proceso de preparación deportiva de las gimnastas élites cubanas de Gimnasia Rítmica en los últimos años ha ido modificándose debido a los cambios de las exigencias del código de puntuación planteadas por la FIG. Se han realizado investigaciones alrededor del asunto pero aún existen deficiencias como es el control de la carga de entrenamiento y fundamentalmente el indicador intensidad. La intensidad resulta muy difícil de valorar y controlar en los entrenamientos de Gimnasia Rítmica, debido a la variabilidad de ejercicios técnicos que se ejecutan, pero además por lo individualizado que se hace el entrenamiento de los ejercicios competitivos, pues las gimnastas ejecutan los ejercicios o elementos en dependencia de nivel técnico y físico que tengan. Por esta razón se determinó como objetivo de esta investigación elaborar un conjunto de indicaciones metodológicas para el control de la intensidad del entrenamiento de los ejercicios competitivos individuales de las gimnastas elites cubanas (adultas) de Gimnasia Rítmica. Fueron utilizados diferentes métodos teóricos y empíricos que permitieron el desarrollo de la investigación. Se hicieron diferentes mediciones durante los entrenamientos de la preparación especial, ya que en esta etapa la gimnasta se encuentra lista para realizar el ejercicio competitivo con música, como lo realizará en las competencias.

Debido a las deficiencias que presentan los niños de de 4 a 5 años de los CDR 1 y 2 del Consejo Popular 10 de Octubre del municipio Pinar del Río en el cumplimiento de los logros fundamentalmente los de las habilidades motrices básicas hemos decidido realizar esta investigación. Se realizó un diagnóstico el cual permitió conocer las principales dificultades que pueden estar provocando este problema. Como las actividades que se trabajan en el Programa Educa a tu hijo son actividades integradoras, o sea que comprendan contenidos de todas las áreas, pues decidimos entonces elaborar actividades integradoras donde se trabajen las diferentes habilidades motrices básicas que permitan el cumplimiento de los diferentes logros. Para el desarrollo de este trabajo se utilizó métodos teóricos y empíricos los que permitieron darle cumplimiento al objetivo.
