To assess the clinical effects of transurethral holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) combined with Jisheng Shenqi Decoction (HoLEP + JSSD) on BPH.This study included 110 BPH patients treated in our hospital from August 2017 to April 2018, who were randomly assigned to receive HoLEP (n = 55) or HoLEP + JSSD (n = 55). We compared the pre- and post-operative IPSS, quality of life (QOL) score, prostate volume, postvoid residual urine volume (PVR), maximum urinary flow rate (Qmax), average urinary flow rate (Qavg) and levels of serum T, E2 and T/E2 as well as postoperative complications between the two groups of patients.After treatment, both IPSS and QOL score were significantly lower in the HoLEP + JSSD than in the HoLEP group (P0.05), and so were the prostate volume and PVR (P0.05). The Qmax, Qavg and serum T level were significantly higher (P0.05) while T/E2 markedly lower in the former than in the latter group (P0.05). There were no statistically significant differences between the HoLEP + JSSD and HoLEP groups in the E2 level (P0.05) or the total incidence rate of complications postoperatively (21.82% vs 29.09%, P0.05).HoLEP + JSSD can significantly alleviate the lower urinary tract symptoms as well as improve the QOL and bladder and urinary tract functions of BPH patients.

Jet impingement cooling is an important way to cool turbine blades. Ribbed channels are widely used in the chord region of turbine blades and are an important internal cooling structure. In the design process of the internal cooling structure of the conventional turbine blade, it is the primary consideration of the designer to improve the heat transfer coefficient at the surface of the inner cooling passage. With the development of the design of the inner cooling structure of the turbine blade, the pressure loss caused by the inner cooling passage has been paid more and more attention. Therefore, many studies have begun to comprehensively consider the potential of various rib structures in enhancing heat transfer and reducing flow resistance. In the design process of the internal cooling structure of the conventional turbine blade, the rib is placed on the blade, which increases the blade burden. In this paper, the classic rib structure is changed, and the rib is placed on the impingement plate to research its heat transfer characteristics. In this study, the effects of ribs of different structures on heat transfer were tested. Calculate the working conditions of Reynolds number Re = 15000, 20000, 25000, 30000. The numerical calculation of the SST k-w model is used to evaluate the average Nusselt number of the target plate and the flow coefficient of the channel, and the heat transfer distribution and flow field are analyzed. This study is expected to achieve better coordination between improved heat transfer and reduced flow resistance.

The Ti-50%Al (molar fraction) composite powder was synthesized by high energy ball milling (HEBM). The characteristics of the composite particles, including surface morphology, structure and components, were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high resolution electron microscopy (HREM) and high-angle annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscopy (HAADF-STEM). The mechanochemical reaction between Ti and Al gradually took place through intermediate stages during milling, and resulted in the formation of disordered Ti/Al phases. Dissolution of Al in Ti (after 9 h milling), nanocrystalline Ti/Al solid solution and high density of dislocations were caused by HEBM. The element distribution of the mechanically alloyed Ti-50%Al composite powder was close to the initial composition, but the distribution was inhomogeneous.

The evolution in microstructure and composition of the milled Ti-Al composite powder with different milling time were investigated. It shows that with the milling time increasing, the initial powder underwent a successive change in its morphology from a flattened shape (2 h) to a fine, equiaxed and uniform one (above 6 h). The milled Ti-Al composite powder was nanocrystalline with the average crystallite size of about 17 nm after milling for 8 h. The evolution mechanism of Ti-Al composite powder was elucidated. The Ti(Al) solid solution is formed through a gradual and progressive solution of Al into Ti lattice. By differential thermal analysis on the ignition temperature of the reaction between Ti and Al as a function of milling time, it indicates that mechanical milling of the powders significantly lowered the ignition temperature of the reaction by refining its Ti-Al composite structure.

Structure strength and deformation of the preliminary hydraulic press design have been calculated by the finite element method, in which two working conditions have been considered, i.e. the centre-point load condition and the eccentric load condition. To solve the surplus structure strength globally and the localized stress concentration, the combined methodology of mathematical programming algorithm and the FEM has been utilized to redesign the hydraulic press. The optimization result shows that the mass of the press has been reduced greatly and the localized stress concentration has been eliminated. Besides that, the strength and stiffness in the optimized structure still meet the performance requirements.
