Objective: To investigate the occupational health status of medical radiation workers in Hangzhou City, so as to provide the basis for their occupational health risk assessment. Methods: Data on medical radiological workers who underwent occupational health examinations from 2021 to 2022 were collected through the Physical Examination Information Management System of the Hangzhou Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Hospital. The physical examination data including blood routine, eye lens, thyroid ultrasound, thyroid function, liver function, renal function and blood lipid were collected, and the abnormal rates of occupational health examinations among workers with different genders, working years and occupational exposure types were analyzed. Results: A total of 3 968 medical radiation workers were investigated, including 2 310 males (58.22%) and 1 658 females (41.78%). Background Population aging is a major challenge in the global healthcare field. Due to pathological and physiological changes in ageing skin, skin injuries are highly prevalent in older population. And epidemiological studies on skin injuries in this population has become a research hotspot recently. Objective To examine the prevalence and epidemiological characteristics of three types of skin injuries 〔pressure injuries (PI) , incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) and skin tears (ST) 〕in elderly inpatients using a multicenter cross-sectional study, providing a basis for formulating strategies for the prevention of skin injuries in older people. Methods A multicenter study was carried out in 52 hospitals selected from 16 provinces, two autonomous regions and two municipalities of China, from which 1 067 nurses who had completed the online homogenization training conducted by our research group and passed the relevant examination were selectedas investigators. Every 2-3 nurses were divided into a investigation group. Eligible older inpatients were selected as participants. Full body skin examination for screening skin injuries was conducted in participants in each hospital by nurses using the same tools and methods. PI, IAD and ST were defined and classified by relevant international guideline or expert consensus, respectively. Then demographics, length of stay (LOS) , chronic disease history, use of medications in the past month, living independence and risk of PI assessed by the Braden Scale of the participants were collected. Results A total of 14 675 elderly inpatients were investigated, and all of them responded effectively (100.0%) . The respondents had an average age of (73.5±9.0) years and a median LOS of 7 (4, 13) days, among whom 56.3% (8 262/14 675) were men, and 43.7% (6 413/14 675) were women; 95.5% (14 020/14 675) were Han people, and 4.5% (655/14 675) were 19 ethnic minorities. The overall prevalence of the three types of skin injuries was 6.0% (881/14 675) , of which the prevalence of PI, IAD, ST and at least two types of skin injuries was 3.3% (484/14 675) , 1.4% (199/14 675) , 0.8% (110/14 675) and 0.6% (88/14 675) , respectively. Epidemiologic characteristics: Han people had higher prevalence of skin injuries compared with ethnic minorities (6.2% vs 2.9%, P=0.001) . Enhancing marine economic resilience is a necessary response to both domestic and international shocks, and it is also key to achieving the sustainable development of the marine economy. In recent years, rising uncertainties both domestically and internationally have posed significant challenges to the resilience of China's marine economy. In response, China has continuously strengthened its environmental regulations, influencing the resilience of its marine economy through various environmental regulations. This paper measures marine economy resilience index using panel data from 11 coastal provinces and municipalities in China from 2010 to 2019. It empirically examines the direct impact, spatial spillover effects, and mediating mechanisms of environmental regulations on marine economy resilience. The results show that: (1) Environmental regulations significantly enhance the resilience of the marine economy. Among the various environmental regulation tools, command-and-control regulations have a stronger effect in promoting marine economic resilience compared to market-incentive regulations. (2) Environmental regulations exhibit spatial spillover effects in enhancing marine economic resilience, and the spatial influence of different regulatory tools is heterogeneous. (3) The optimization of marine industrial structure serves as a crucial avenue for environmental regulations to enhance the resilience of the marine economy. This study offers theoretical support and a scientific basis for the adjustment and optimization of environmental regulations and the enhancement of marine economic resilience, while also contributing to the sustainable development of the marine economy. Herbal medicines (HMs) are gaining increasing popularity and recognition worldwide due to their eco‐friendliness and efficacy. With their multi‐compounds, multi‐targets, and multi‐pathways characteristics, HMs have been used in treatment of various diseases. However, the clinical applications of preparations containing HMs have been limited due to their inherent physicochemical properties, including low water solubility, poor stability, and unsatisfactory bioavailability of bioactive compounds. Supramolecular macrocyclic hosts, like cyclodextrins, calixarenes, cucurbiturils, and pillararenes, are important objects of researches in supramolecular chemistry. These hosts have been utilized to encapsulate the ingredients, improve the solubility of poorly water‐soluble components, enhance the stability of the tested compounds, increase the bioavailability of bioactive compounds, and ensure the safety of HMs. Herein, we provide a brief introduction to the theories of supramolecular chemistry and summarize the extensive applications of supramolecular macrocyclic hosts in the field of HMs. These applications encompass the screening of bioactive compounds in HMs and the enhancement of druggability for HMs. We hope this review can provide a strategy for dealing with the challenges of HMs, thereby enabling their better applications and development.
