The cross‐regulation of immunity and metabolism is currently a research hotspot in life sciences and immunology. Metabolic immunology plays an important role in cutting‐edge fields such as metabolic regulatory mechanisms in immune cell development and function, and metabolic targets and immune‐related disease pathways. Protein post‐translational modification (PTM) is a key epigenetic mechanism that regulates various biological processes and highlights metabolite functions. Currently, more than 400 PTM types have been identified to affect the functions of several proteins. Among these, metabolic PTMs, particularly various newly identified histone or non‐histone acylation modifications, can effectively regulate various functions, processes and diseases of the immune system, as well as immune‐related diseases. Thus, drugs aimed at targeted acylation modification can have substantial therapeutic potential in regulating immunity, indicating a new direction for further clinical translational research. This review summarises the characteristics and functions of seven novel lysine acylation modifications, including succinylation, S‐palmitoylation, lactylation, crotonylation, 2‐hydroxyisobutyrylation, β‐hydroxybutyrylation and malonylation, and their association with immunity, thereby providing valuable references for the diagnosis and treatment of immune disorders associated with new acylation modifications. Background: Chaperonin Containing TCP1 Subunit 6 A (CCT6A) is a prominent protein involved in the folding and stabilization of newly synthesized proteins. However, its roles and underlying mechanisms in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), one of the most aggressive cancers, remain elusive. Methods: Our study utilized in vitro cell phenotype experiments to assess CCT6A's impact on the proliferation and invasion capabilities of LUAD cell lines. To delve into CCT6A's intrinsic mechanisms affecting glycolysis and proliferation in lung adenocarcinoma, we employed transcriptomic sequencing and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis. Co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP) and chromatin immunoprecipitation (CHIP) assays were also conducted to substantiate the mechanism. Results: CCT6A was found to be significantly overexpressed in LUAD and associated with a poorer prognosis. The silencing of CCT6A inhibited the proliferation and migration of LUAD cells and elevated apoptosis rates. Mechanistically, CCT6A interacted with STAT1 protein, forming a complex that enhances the stability of STAT1 by protecting it from ubiquitin-mediated degradation. This, in turn, facilitated the transcription of hexokinase 2 (HK2), a critical enzyme in aerobic glycolysis, thereby stimulating LUAD's aerobic glycolysis and progression. Conclusion: Our findings reveal that the CCT6A/STAT1/HK2 axis orchestrated a reprogramming of glucose metabolism and thus promoted LUAD progression. Objectives: To evaluate the identification of tumor deposits (TDs) and the prognostic significance of an MRI tumor regression grade for TDs in patients with rectal cancer treated with neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT). Methods: Ninety-one patients with cT3 or cT4 rectal cancer who underwent surgery following nCRT between August 2014 and June 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. Changes in pre-nCRT MRI-detected TDs (mrTDs) were described as mrTD regression grade. The diagnostic performance of post-nCRT MRI-detected TDs (ymrTDs) was compared with histopathological reference standard. The correlation between ymrTDs, mrTD regression grade, and disease-free survival (DFS) was assessed. Results: The sensitivity and specificity of ymrTDs were 88.00% and 89.39%, respectively. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve was 0.887 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.803–0.944). The 3-year DFS of patients with positive ymrTDs was significantly lower than of the negative group (44.83% vs 82.73%, p < 0.001). The 3-year DFS was 33.33% for patients with poor regression of mrTDs following nCRT and 55.56% for those with moderate regression, compared to 69.23% in good responders and 83.97% in patients without mrTDs (p < 0.001). On multivariable Cox regression, mrTD regression grade was the only independent MRI factor associated with DFS (p = 0.042). Conclusions: Diagnostic performance of ymrTDs was moderate. The mrTD regression grade was independently correlated with DFS, which may have a prognostic implication for treatment and follow-up. Clinical relevance statement: Patients with poor regression of MRI-detected tumor deposits may benefit from more aggressive treatments, such as chemoradiation therapy plus induction or consolidation chemotherapy. Dissipation in mechanics, optics, acoustics, and electronic circuits is nowadays recognized to be not always detrimental but can be exploited to achieve non-Hermitian topological phases or properties with functionalities for potential device applications, ranging from sensors with unprecedented sensitivity, energy funneling, wave isolators, non-reciprocal signal amplification, to dissipation induced phase transition. As elementary excitations of ordered magnetic moments that exist in various magnetic materials, magnons are the information carriers in magnonic devices with low-energy consumption for reprogrammable logic, non-reciprocal communication, and non-volatile memory functionalities. Non-Hermitian topological magnonics deals with the engineering of dissipation and/or gain for non-Hermitian topological phases or properties in magnets that are not achievable in the conventional Hermitian scenario, with associated functionalities cross-fertilized with their electronic, acoustic, optic, and mechanic counterparts, such as giant enhancement of magnonic frequency combs, magnon amplification, (quantum) sensing of the magnetic field with unprecedented sensitivity, magnon accumulation, and perfect absorption of microwaves. In this review article, we address the unified approach in constructing magnonic non-Hermitian Hamiltonian, introduce the basic non-Hermitian topological physics, and provide a comprehensive overview of the recent theoretical and experimental progress towards achieving distinct non-Hermitian topological phases or properties in magnonic devices, including exceptional points, exceptional nodal phases, non-Hermitian magnonic SSH model, and non-Hermitian skin effect. We emphasize the non-Hermitian Hamiltonian approach based on the Lindbladian or self-energy of the magnonic subsystem but address the physics beyond it as well, such as the crucial quantum jump effect in the quantum regime and non-Markovian dynamics. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one common malignant tumour with a high immunosuppressive tumour microenvironment and poor outcomes. This study investigated the influence of hsa_circ_0010882 on M1/M2 macrophage polarization in the progression of HCC. A total of 125 paired tissue specimens from HCC patients who underwent hepatectomy were collected. M1 and M2 phenotypes macrophages were induced using THP‐1. After co‐cultured with macrophages and transfected HCC cells, the viability, migration and invasion of HCC cells were detected by cellular experiments. Bioinformatic databases and dual‐luciferase reporter assays were used to predict and validate the interaction between circ_0010882 and miR‐382. Expression of circ_0010882 was increased in HCC tissues and associated with shorter overall survival outcomes. The mRNA expression of M2 macrophage markers Arg‐1, CD163 and CD206 were elevated in HCC tissues. Interfering with circ_0010882 increased M1‐type macrophage markers (TNF‐α and iNOS) while decreasing M2‐type macrophage markers (Arg‐1 and CD206). Silencing of circ_0010882 strengthened the capacity of M1 macrophages to suppress HCC cell viability, migration capacities and invasion potential while reducing the ability of M2 macrophages to promote above cellular abilities. MiR‐382 was a direct target miRNA of circ_0010882. The circ_0010882 expression was increased in HCC tissues and associated with poor prognosis of HCC patients. Silencing of circ_0010882 inhibits macrophage M2 polarization in HCC progression by regulating miR‐382 expression. Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) are novel solvents with physicochemical properties similar to those of ionic liquids, and they have attracted extensive attention for the extraction of bioactive compounds from different plant materials in the context of green chemistry and sustainable development. In this study, seven DESs with different polarities were explored as green extraction solvents for cembratrien-diols (CBT-diols) from waste tobacco flowers. The best solvent, DES-3 (choline chloride: lactic acid (1:3)), which outperformed conventional solvents (methanol, ethanol, and ethyl acetate), was selected and further optimized for microwave-assisted DES extraction using the response surface methodology. The maximum yield of CBT-diols (6.23 ± 0.15 mg/g) was achieved using a microwave power of 425 W, microwave time of 32 min, solid/liquid ratio of 20 mg/mL, and microwave temperature of 40 °C. Additionally, the isolated CBT-diols exhibited strong antimicrobial activity against Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa and antitumor activity in the human liver cancer HepG2 and SMMC-7721 cell lines. This study highlights the feasibility of recovering CBT-diols from tobacco flower waste using DESs and provides opportunities for potential waste management using green technologies. Density functional theory (DFT) characterizations were employed to resolve the structural and energetic aspects and product selectivities along the mechanistic reaction paths of the nickel-catalyzed three-component unsymmetrical bis-allylation of alkynes with alkenes. Our putative mechanism initiated with the in situ generation of the active catalytic species [Ni(0)L2] (L = NHC) from its precursors [Ni(COD)2, NHC·HCl] to activate the alkyne and alkene substrates to form the final skipped trienes. This proceeds via the following five sequential steps: oxidative addition (OA), β-F elimination, ring-opening complexation, C-B cleavage and reductive elimination (RE). Both the OA and RE steps (with respective free energy barriers of 24.2 and 24.8 kcal·mol−1) contribute to the observed reaction rates, with the former being the selectivity-controlling step of the entire chemical transformation. Electrophilic/nucleophilic properties of selected substrates were accurately predicted through dual descriptors (based on Hirshfeld charges), with the chemo- and regio-selectivities being reasonably predicted and explained. Further distortion/interaction and interaction region indicator (IRI) analyses for key stationary points along reaction profiles indicate that the participation of the third component olefin (allylboronate) and tBuOK additive played a crucial role in facilitating the reaction and regenerating the active catalyst, ensuring smooth formation of the skipped triene product under a favorably low dosage of the Ni(COD)2 catalyst (5 mol%). Wind shear has important implications for Kelvin–Helmholtz instability (KHI) and gravity waves (GWs) in the mesosphere–lower thermosphere (MLT) region where its momentum transport process is dominated by short-period (<1 h) GWs. However, the sub-hourly variation in wind shear is still not well quantified. This study aims to improve current understanding of vertical wind shear by analyzing multi-year meteor radar measurements at the Mohe (MH, 53.5°N, 122.3°E), Beijing (BJ, 40.3 ° N , 116.2 ° E ), Wuhan (WH, 30.5 ° N , 114.6 ° E ), and Fuke (FK, 19.5°N, 109.1°E) stations in China. The wind field is estimated by a new algorithm, e.g., the damped least squares fitting. Taking the wind shear estimated by normal products as a criterion, the shear produced by the new algorithm has more statistical convergence as compared to the traditional algorithm, e.g., the least squares fitting. Therefore, we argue that the 10 min DLSA wind probably produces a more reasonable vertical shear. Both intensive wind shears and GW kinetic energy can be simultaneously captured during the 0600–1600 UTs of May at MH and during the 1300–2400 UTs of March at FK, possibly implying that the up-propagation of GWs could contribute to the production of large wind shears. The utilization of remote sensing soil moisture products in agricultural and hydrological studies is on the rise. Conducting a regional applicability analysis of these soil moisture products is essential as a preliminary step for their effective utilization. The triple collocation (TC) method enables the estimation of the standard deviation of errors in products when true soil moisture values are unavailable. It assesses data uncertainty and mitigates the influence of product errors on fusion, thereby enhancing product accuracy significantly. In this study, the TC uncertainty error analysis was employed to integrate Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP), the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2 (AMSR-2), and the European Space Agency Climate Change Initiative (ESA CCI) active (ESA CCI A) and passive (ESA CCI P) products, with ground-based measurements serving as a reference. Traditional evaluation metrics, such as the correlation coefficient (R), bias, root mean square error (RMSE), and unin situed root mean square error (ubRMSE), were employed to evaluate the accuracy of the product. The findings indicate that SMAP and ESA CCI P products demonstrate strong spatiotemporal continuity within the research area and exhibit low uncertainty across various land types. The products derived from the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2 (AMSR-2) exhibit a high level of temporal and spatial continuity; however, there is a requirement for enhancing their accuracy. The products of ESA CCI A exhibit notable spatiotemporal disjunction, contributing significantly to their elevated level of uncertainty. After fusion with TC analysis, the correlation coefficient (R = 0.7) of the TC-2 product derived from the fusion of SMAP, AMSR-2, and ESA CCI P products is significantly higher than the correlation coefficient of the TC-1 product (R = 0.65) obtained from the fusion of SMAP, AMSR-2, and ESA CCI A products at a 95% confidence level. The integration of data can efficiently mitigate the challenges associated with spatiotemporal gaps and inaccuracies in products, offering a dependable foundation for the subsequent utilization of remote sensing products. Glutamate is the main excitatory neurotransmitter in the brain and plays a leading role in degenerative diseases, such as motor neuron diseases. Riluzole is a glutamate regulator and a therapeutic drug for motor neuron diseases. In this work, the interaction between glutamate and riluzole was studied using cyclic voltammetry and square-wave voltammetry at a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). It was shown that glutamate underwent a two-electron transfer reaction on the GCE surface, and the electrochemical detection limits of glutamate and riluzole were 483 μmol/L and 11.47 μmol/L, respectively. The results confirm that riluzole can promote the redox reaction of glutamate. Clouds and cloud shadow cover cause missing data in some images captured by the Gaofen-1 Wide Field of View (GF-1 WFV) cameras, limiting the extraction and analysis of the image information and further applications. Therefore, this study proposes a methodology to fill GF-1 WFV images using the spatial autocorrelation and improved weighting (SAIW) method. Specifically, the search window size is adaptively determined using Getis-Ord Gi* as a metric. The spatial and spectral weights of the pixels are computed using the Chebyshev distance and spectral angle mapper to better filter the suitable similar pixels. Each missing pixel is predicted using linear regression with similar pixels on the reference image and the corresponding similar pixel located in the non-missing region of the cloudy image. Simulation experiments showed that the average correlation coefficient of the proposed method in this study is 0.966 in heterogeneous areas, 0.983 in homogeneous farmland, and 0.948 in complex urban areas. It suggests that SAIW can reduce the spread of errors in the gap-filling process to significantly improve the accuracy of the filling results and can produce satisfactory qualitative and quantitative fill results in a wide range of typical land cover types and has extensive application potential. Inertial sensors are the key payloads in space gravitational wave detection missions, and they need to ensure that the test mass (TM), which serves as the inertial reference, freely floats in the spacecraft without contact, so that the TM is not disturbed by the satellite platform and the cosmic environment. Space gravitational wave detection missions require that the residual acceleration of the TM should be less than 3 × 10 − 15 ms − 2 Hz − 1 / 2 . However, the TM with charges will interact with surrounding conductors and magnetic fields, introducing acceleration noise such as electrostatic force and Lorentz force. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out charge management on the TM, in which the high-precision measurement of charge is crucial. Space gravitational wave detection missions require a residual charge measurement accuracy of 3 × 10 − 13 C for the TM. In this paper, we design a high-precision inertial sensor charge measurement method based on phase-sensitive demodulation (PSD). By establishing a torsion pendulum rotation model based on the force modulation method, the characteristics of the TM torsion angle signal are analyzed. The PSD is used to extract the amplitude of the specific frequency signal component containing the charge information, and then to calculate the value of the accumulated charges. The method is compared with the Butterworth band-pass filtering method, and the simulation results show that the method has a higher measurement accuracy, shorter settling time, and stronger anti-interference ability, meeting the TM residual charge measurement accuracy index requirement. Background: Higher planting densities typically cause a decline in grain weight, limiting the potential for high maize yield. Additionally, variations in grain filling occur at different positions within the maize ear. Abscisic acid (ABA) is important for grain filling and regulates grain weight. However, the effects of exogenous ABA on the filling process of maize grains at different ear positions under high planting density are poorly understood. In this study, two summer maize hybrids (DengHai605 (DH605) and ZhengDan958 (ZD958)) commonly grown in China were used to examine the effects of ABA application during the flowering stage on grain filling properties, starch accumulation, starch biosynthesis associated enzyme activities, and hormone levels of maize grain (including inferior grain (IG) and superior grain (SG)) under high planting density. Results: Our results showed that exogenous ABA significantly increased maize yield, primarily owing to a higher grain weight resulting from an accelerated grain filling rate relative to the control. There was no significant difference in yield between DH605 and ZD958 in the control and ABA treatments. Moreover, applying ABA promoted starch accumulation by raising the activities of sucrose synthase, ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase, granule-bound starch synthases, soluble starch synthase, and starch branching enzyme in grains. It also increased the levels of zeatin riboside, indole-3-acetic acid, and ABA and decreased the level of gibberellin in grains, resulting in more efficient grain filling. Notably, IG exhibited a less efficient filling process compared to SG, probably due to lower starch biosynthesis associated enzyme activities and an imbalance in hormone contents. Nevertheless, IG displayed greater sensitivity to exogenous ABA than SG, suggesting that appropriate cultural measures to improve IG filling may be a viable strategy to further increase maize yield. Conclusions: According to our results, spraying exogenous ABA could effectively improve grain filling properties, accelerate starch accumulation by increasing relevant enzyme activities, and regulate hormone levels in grains, resulting in higher grain weight and yield of maize under high planting density. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most prevalent type of liver cancer. Since the tricarboxylic acid cycle is widely involved in tumor metabolic reprogramming and cuproptosis, investigating related genes may help to identify prognostic signature of patients with HCC. Data on patients with HCC were sourced from public datasets, and were divided into train, test, and single-cell cohorts. A variety of machine learning algorithms were used to identify different molecular subtypes and determine the prognostic risk model. Our findings revealed that the risk score (TRscore), based on the genes OGDHL, CFHR4, and SPP1, showed excellent predictive performance in different datasets. Pathways related to cell cycle and immune inflammation were enriched in the high-risk group, whereas metabolism-related pathways were significantly enriched in the low-risk group. The high-risk group was associated with a greater number of mutations of detrimental biological behavior and higher levels of immune infiltration, immune checkpoint expression, and anti-cancer immunotherapy response. Low-risk patients demonstrated greater sensitivity to erlotinib and phenformin. SPP1 was mainly involved in the interaction among tumor-associated macrophages, T cells, and malignant cells via SPP1–CD44 and SPP1–(ITGA5 + ITGB1) ligand-receptor pairs. The development of high activity catalysts with excellent durability is a great challenge to realize the industrialization of electrolytic water oxygen evolution. In this work, Ag nanoparticles modified cross column nickel-iron hydroxyl oxide system (NiFeAg) nanocomposites were synthesized by a two-step strategy. Through XPS spectrum, Tafel slope, and EIS electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, it was found that Ag mainly plays a conductive role, accelerates charge transfer, and adjusts the surface electronic structure, to improve the activity of the catalyst. Impressive is the overall hydrolysis performance, with a current density of 10 mA cm−2 achieved at an overpotential of 211 mV, which shows better performance than other catalysts reported in the literature. Finally, through the theoretical calculation of the determination steps of adsorption energy and rate of oxygen-containing intermediates, it is determined that the active center of the catalyst is mainly Ni site. According to the theory of D-band center, Ag can effectively adjust the D-band center, thereby adjusting the adsorption strength of Ni sites on the surface of NiFe catalyst to adsorbent, and finally improving the OER performance of the catalyst. NiFeAg catalysts showed excellent OER performance in alkaline electrolyte. Ag improves the electron transfer efficiency of NiFe. Coal gangue (CG) and coal gasification coarse slag (CGCS) possess both hazardous and resourceful attributes. The present study employed co-roasting followed by H2SO4 leaching to extract Al and Fe from CG and CGCS. The activation behavior and phase transformation mechanism during the co-roasting process were investigated through TG, XRD, FTIR, and XPS characterization analysis as well as Gibbs free energy calculation. The results demonstrate that the leaching rate of total iron (TFe) reached 79.93%, and Al3+ achieved 43.78% under the optimized experimental conditions (co-roasting process: CG/CGCS mass ratio of 8/2, 600 °C, 1 h; H2SO4 leaching process: 30 wt% H2SO4, 90 °C, 5 h, liquid to solid ratio of 5:1 mL/g). Co-roasting induced the conversion of inert kaolinite to active metakaolinite, subsequently leading to the formation of sillimanite (Al2SiO5) and hercynite (FeAl2O4). The iron phases underwent a selective transformation in the following sequence: hematite (Fe2O3) → magnetite (Fe3O4) → wustite (FeO) → ferrosilite (FeSiO3), hercynite (FeAl2O4), and fayalite (Fe2SiO4). Furthermore, we found that acid solution and leached residue both have broad application prospects. Fault detection and diagnosis in electrical machines are periodical for preventing operational interruptions and unexpected shutdowns. However, a Wavelet Feature-dependent Clustering Technique (WFCT) is introduced to address the cyclic fault detection between successive operation intervals. This technique identifies override features from the time-frequency operational wavelets throughout the machine running time. This grouping binds time and operational frequency for identifying override exceeding shutdown/ failure instances. Based on their revamping time, the identified instances are further grouped to prevent overrides in successive operational hours. This article develops a subband Hammerstein spline adaptive filtering (SHSAF) algorithm with the exponential hyperbolic cosine (EHC) cost to acquire robustness against non-Gaussian noises, which is called the SHSAF-EHC algorithm. The delayless multiband-structured subband strategy is employed to enhance the convergence property in the Hammerstein-type nonlinear filtering structure. In addition, the statistical performance analysis of SHSAF-EHC is rigorously derived in the mean and mean-square senses. To evaluate the predictive performance of multiparameter and histogram features derived from amide proton transfer-weighted imaging (APTWI), intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) and diffusion kurtosis imaging (DKI) for histopathological types of breast tumors. Region of interest (ROI) was delineated by outlining the largest slice of the tumor on the false-color images of the DKI, IVIM and APTWI parameters, and extracted the histogram features. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to evaluate the performance of parameters in predicting benign and malignant breast lesions, molecular prognostic biomarkers, lymph node status, and subtypes of breast lesions. The Spearman correlation coefficient was used to determine the correlations between each parameter and clinical-pathological factors. All 52 breast lesions were enrolled in this prospective study, including 8 benign lesions and 44 breast cancers. To diagnose malignant and benign breast lesions, the value of APT (min) performed best, with the AUC reaching 0.983. According to the different imaging methods, the APTWI performed best. To predict the positive status of ER, PR, Ki67, the value of D app (uniformity) , D app (uniformity) , f (entropy) performed best, with the AUC values reaching 0.743, 0.770, 0.848, respectively. For the identification of Luminal B, HER2-enriched, and TNBC breast cancers, K app (max) , f (kurtosis) , and D app (uniformity) performed best, with AUC values reaching 0.679, 0.826, 0.771, respectively. The development of non‐precious metal electrocatalysts for efficient oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is a significant research field vital for the progress of zinc−air battery technology. Here, we purposely constructed a core‐shell heterostructured electrocatalyst consisting of MnO nanotubes covered by Co nanoparticles anchored on N‐doped carbon substrate. MnO@Co/NC displayed superior ORR capability with a half‐wave potential of 0.85 V and almost no potential decay after 10,000 cycles CV test, outform that of commercial Pt/C catalysts. Employing MnO@Co/NC as the air electrode catalyst in primary Zn−air batteries leads to a top power density of 145 mW cm−2 and an enhanced specific capacity of 869 mAh g−1 as compared to commercial noble metal catalysts. Such superb ORR performance outcomes primarily stem from the synergistic effect between Co/NC shell and MnO core since the coupling structure not only regulates the inherent electronic structure but also accelerates electron transfer speed and boosts the active sites. Besides, the Co/NC outer layer can also help to improve the corrosion resistance of MnO@Co/NC in the electrolyte. Sporadic E (Es) layers are thin layers of enhanced electron density that commonly appear at altitudes of 90–130 km, often impacting radio communications and navigation systems. The wind shear theory posits that the vertical ion drift, influenced by atmospheric neutral winds and the magnetic field, serves as a significant dynamic driver for the formation and movement of Es layers. In current studies, both the heights of ion vertical velocity null (IVN) and the maximum vertical ion convergence (VICmax) have been proposed as the potential height of Es layer occurrence. In this study, utilizing the neutral atmospheric wind data derived from the WACCM-X (The Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model with thermosphere and ionosphere extension), we computed and compared these two parameters with the observed Es layer heights recorded by the FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC (FORMOsa SATellite-3/Constellation Observing System for Meteorology, Ionosphere, and Climate) radio occultation (RO) observations. The comparative analysis suggests that IVN is a more likely node for Es layer occurrence than VICmax. Subsequently, we examined the height–time distributions of IVN and Es layers, as well as their respective descent rates at different latitudes. These results demonstrated a notable agreement in height variations between IVN and Es layers. Rosa‐associated fungi are rich in species and diverse in function, with many potential new taxa. However, only a few publications have reported Rosa‐associated endophytic fungi using a combination of molecular systematics and morphology. Rosa roxburghii is an economically important source of medicine and food. We reported earlier the diversity and antimicrobial activities of the fungal endophytes of this plant, but further confirmation is needed for possible new taxa. In this study, we describe 10 novel species and two new host records isolated from healthy tissues of R. roxburghii while identifying three new combinations, all belonging to the Sordariomycetes. The new species described herein include Chaetomium rosifloricola, Chaetomium rosiradicicola, Chrysofolia fructicola, Coniella cili, Hypoxylon florendophyticum, Hypoxylon rosicaulendophyticum, Ilyonectria radicigena, Neopestalotiopsis caulicola, Neopestalotiopsis fructicola, and Seimatosporium endophyticum. Monochaetia bulbophylli, Neopestalotiopsis anacardii, and Neopestalotiopsis termitarii were introduced as new combinations, while Coniella quercicola and Hypoxylon pulicicidum were described as new host records on R. roxburghii. All the taxa have been described, illustrated, and phylogenetically analyzed, in addition to the lifestyles of each genus. In this work, graphene oxide (GO)/polyamide 6 (PA6) nanocomposites with different graphene content (0.03–0.5 wt%) were prepared via in situ polymerization of GO and ε‐caprolactam. The linear and nonlinear rheological properties and thixotropy of GO/PA6 nanocomposites are investigated using steady state, dynamic, and transient rheological method with a Haake plate rotary rheometer. Cox/Merz rules and Cross model were used to fit the shear rate sweep and dynamic frequency sweep data, and a wider range(10−2–104 s−1) of flow curve was obtained. The results show the PA6 and GO/PA6 melts are shear thinning fluid without yield stress, and have thixotropy. Photocatalytic organic reactions, harvesting solar energy to produce high value-added organic chemicals, have attracted increasing attention as a sustainable approach to address the global energy crisis and environmental issues. Reticular framework materials, including metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs), are widely considered as promising candidates for photocatalysis owing to their high crystallinity, tailorable pore environment and extensive structural diversity. Although the design and synthesis of MOFs and COFs have been intensively developed in the last 20 years, their applications in photocatalytic organic transformations are still in the preliminary stage, making their systematic summary necessary. Thus, this review aims to provide a comprehensive understanding and useful guidelines for the exploration of suitable MOF and COF photocatalysts towards appropriate photocatalytic organic reactions. The commonly used reactions are categorized to facilitate the identification of suitable reaction types. From a practical viewpoint, the fundamentals of experimental design, including active species, performance evaluation and external reaction conditions, are discussed in detail for easy experimentation. Furthermore, the latest advances in photocatalytic organic reactions of MOFs and COFs, including their composites, are comprehensively summarized according to the actual active sites, together with the discussion of their structure–property relationship. We report the synthesis of cyclometalated monoaryl MnIII fluoro complexes using bis(trifluoromethyl)zinc reagent, Zn(CF3)2(DMPU)2, under mild conditions via a reaction pathway that involves initial transmetalation followed by α‐fluorine elimination. The formation of difluorocarbene in these reactions was detected by trapping experiments. Such facile difluorocarbene generation from MnIII results in moderate enhancement of difluoropropanation and difluoropropenation of alkenes and alkynes using Zn(CF3)2(DMPU)2 at lower temperature (20–60 °C) and short reaction time, suggesting potential application of manganese(III) perfluoroalkyl complexes as reactive species for carbene transfer reactivity. Unsupervised classification is used in credit risk assessment to reduce human resource costs and make informed decisions in the shortest possible time. Although several studies show that support vector machine-based methods have better performance in unlabeled datasets, several factors still negatively affect these models, such as unstable results due to random initialization, reduced effectiveness due to kernel dependencies, and noise points and outliers. This paper introduces an unsupervised classification method based on a fuzzy unsupervised quadratic surface support vector machine without a kernel to avoid selecting related kernel parameters for credit risk assessment. In addition, we propose an innovative fuzzy membership function for reducing noise points and outliers in line with the direction of sample density variation. Fuzzy Unsupervised QSSVM (FUS-QSSVM) outperforms well-known SVM-based methods based on numerical tests on public benchmark credit data. In some real-world applications, the proposed method has significant potential as well as being effective, efficient, and robust. In the space gravitational wave detection mission, inertial sensors play the role of providing an inertial reference for the laser interferometric measurement system. Among them, the capacitance sensor serves as the core key technology of the inertial sensor, used to measure the relative position of the test mass (TM) in the electrode cage. The capacitance sensor utilizes synchronous demodulation technology to extract signals from the AC induction signal. When the phase of the demodulation switch signal is aligned, the synchronous demodulator can most effectively filter out noise, thus directly influencing the performance of the capacitance sensor. However, since the TM is in a suspended state, the information read by the capacitance sensor is dynamic, which increases the difficulty of demodulation phase alignment. In light of this, a method is proposed for achieving the phase alignment of the demodulation switch signal in a dynamic environment. This is accomplished by adjusting the phase of the demodulation switch signal, and subsequently computing the phase difference between the AC induction signal and the demodulation switch signal. At the same time, a measurement and evaluation method for phase deviation is also proposed. Ultimately, an automatic phase alignment system for the demodulation switch signal in dynamic environments is successfully implemented on an FPGA platform, and tests are conducted on a hexapod PI console platform to simulate dynamic environments. The experimental results demonstrate that the system accurately achieves phase alignment in the static environment, with a phase deviation of 0.1394 rad. The development of next-generation transceiver system on the terahertz (THz) band demands the integration of key waveguide filters. In this paper, a dual-band filter using TM dual-mode cavities is proposed based on the stackable multilayer MEMS technology to achieve a highly compact design. TM120 and TM210 dual modes in the nearly square cavity have been introduced into the waveguide filter for obtaining the dual-band response. In addition, the non-resonating mode of TM110 in the cavity can be exploited as modal bypass coupling, which can generate two transmission zeros in the vicinity of each passband. Finally, such 220 GHz 3rd-order dual-band waveguide filter with quasi-elliptical response is fabricated through the silicon-based micromachining and nine stacked silicon platelets packaging techniques to achieve the compact thickness of only 2.34 mm. The measurement exhibits that the packaged filter has obtained the 3-dB fractional bandwidths of 4% from 217.5 to 226.5 GHz and 2.9% from 235.5 to 242.5 GHz, low insertion loss of about − 1.2 dB, as well as four obvious transmission zeros in the out-of-band, respectively. The exploitation of the advanced TM multi-mode cavity exemplifies innovation for highly compact THz waveguide filters, which are ideally suitable for multilayer silicon-based micro-processing. The charge accumulation caused by cosmic rays and solar energetic particles poses a significant challenge as a source of noise for inertial sensors used in space gravitational wave detection. To address this issue, the implementation of charge management systems based on ultraviolet discharge becomes crucial. This paper focuses on elucidating the principles and methods of using ultraviolet discharge for charge management in high-precision inertial sensors. Furthermore, it presents the design and implementation of relevant payloads. Through an analysis of the charge accumulation effect and its impact on noise, key considerations regarding coatings, light sources, and optical paths are explored, and some current and valuable insights into the future development of charge management systems are also summarized. The conclusions drawn from this research also provide guidance for the advancement of higher precision ultraviolet discharge technology and the design of charge management systems. It is of great significance to understand the particle distribution characteristics at different heights to effectively control particle pollution. Based on fractal theory, the fractal dimension of outdoor particles in a high-rise building in Xi'an and its relationship with the concentration of particles with different particle sizes are discussed and analyzed in this paper. The results indicate that the atmosphere in Xi'an is mainly composed of fine particles and that the average proportion of particles ranging from 0 to 1.0 µm is approximately 99.885% of the total particulates. The fractal dimension of particles in the atmosphere at different heights ranges from 5.014 to 5.764, with an average fractal dimension of 5.456. In summer, the fractal dimension of the outdoor particles on the 17th floor was the largest, at 5.764. The fractal dimension in summer is relatively high, being 0.158 higher than that in winter on average. The larger the fractal dimension, the higher the proportion of fine particles. In addition, the fractal dimension can characterize the adsorption of toxic and harmful gases by particles well. Exercise has been recommended as a nonpharmaceutical therapy to treat insulin resistance (IR). Previous studies showed that dopamine D1-like receptor agonists, such as fenoldopam, could improve peripheral insulin sensitivity, while antipsychotics, which are dopamine receptor antagonists, increased susceptibility to Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Meanwhile, exercise has been proved to stimulate dopamine receptors. However, whether the dopamine D1 receptor (D1R) is involved in exercise-mediated amelioration of IR remains unclear. We found that the D1-like receptor antagonist, SCH23390, reduced the effect of exercise on lowering blood glucose and insulin in insulin-resistant mice and inhibited the contraction-induced glucose uptake in C2C12 myotubes. Similarly, the opposite was true for the D1-like receptor agonist, fenoldopam. Furthermore, the expression of D1R was decreased in skeletal muscles from streptozotocin (STZ)- and high-fat intake-induced T2DM mice, accompanied by increased D1R phosphorylation, which was reversed by exercise. A screening study showed that G protein-coupled receptor kinase 4 (GRK4) may be the candidate kinase for the regulation of D1R function, because, in addition to the increased GRK4 expression in skeletal muscles of T2DM mice, GRK4 transgenic T2DM mice exhibited lower insulin sensitivity, accompanied by higher D1R phosphorylation than control mice, whereas the AAV9-shGRK4 mice were much more sensitive to insulin than AAV9-null mice. Mechanistically, the up-regulation of GRK4 expression caused by increased reactive oxygen species (ROS) in IR was ascribed to the enhanced expression of c-Myc, a transcriptional factor of GRK4. Ultrasonic vibration polishing (UVP) which integrates mechanical polishing and ultrasonic vibration technologies is applied to process monocrystalline silicon. The predictive model for material removal rate (MRR) is developed which includes the microscopic contact among the workpiece, abrasive grains, and polishing pad, the scratch effect of embedded abrasive grains, and the impact removal of free abrasive grain on the workpiece surface. This model unveils the reasons for the enhancement of MRR and the effect of different parameters on MRR during UVP. UVP experiments of monocrystalline silicon were carried out to validate this model. It is found that the MRR model is in excellent consistency with the measured MRR and the error rates could be controlled to less than 10%. The increase in spindle speed and ultrasonic amplitude increases the kinetic energy of the abrasive grains. The increase in abrasive grain size improves the contact area between the abrasive grains and the workpiece. Therefore, these contribute to the MRR of the UVP. In addition, different polishing parameters (spindle speed, ultrasonic amplitude, and abrasive grain size) were analyzed and compared on the surface roughness and microscopic local morphology. This work not only offers a novel method for predicting the machining efficiency of UVP but also provides an excellent reference for the evolution of ultrasonic vibration-assisted technologies. Employing Fourier‐transform technique, this work derives the molecular multicenter integrals for the modified Slater‐type orbitals (STOs) with arbitrary principal and angular quantum numbers, in which the spherical harmonics parts are the homogeneous solutions of original STOs. The integrands include spherical Bessel functions and associated Legendre functions. One‐electron three‐center nuclear attraction integral and two‐electron four‐center Coulomb repulsion integral are presented as numerical integrations in two dimensions and three dimensions, respectively. Weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) is a research method in systematic biology. It is widely used to identify gene modules related to target traits in multi-sample transcriptome data. In order to further explore the molecular mechanism of maize response to low-temperature stress at the seedling stage, B144 (cold stress tolerant) and Q319 (cold stress sensitive) provided by the Maize Research Institute of Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences were used as experimental materials, and both inbred lines were treated with 5 °C for 0 h, 12 h, and 24 h, with the untreated material as a control. Eighteen leaf samples were used for transcriptome sequencing, with three biological replicates. Based on the above transcriptome data, co-expression networks of weighted genes associated with low-temperature-tolerance traits were constructed by WGCNA. Twelve gene modules significantly related to low-temperature tolerance at the seedling stage were obtained, and a number of hub genes involved in low-temperature stress regulation pathways were discovered from the four modules with the highest correlation with target traits. Objective: To determine the pathogenesis and molecular targets of anaphylaxis caused by hydatid cyst fluid leakage. Methods: First, Balb/c mice were infected with Echinococcus granulosus, and then the anaphylaxis model was developed. The mice were separated into: anaphylaxis caused by the cystic echinococcosis group (ANPC), the cystic echinococcosis without anaphylaxis group (CE group), and the normal control group (CTRL). Following this, the spleen tissue was collected for microRNA (miRNA) sequencing. Using bioinformatics analysis, differentially expressed miRNAs (DEMs) were identified. Then, through the use of protein–protein interaction (PPI) networks, the key target genes for miRNA regulation associated with echinococcosis‐induced anaphylaxis were identified. Results: ANPC and CE groups have 29 and 39 DEMs compared to the CTRL group, respectively. Based on these 25 DEMs, interactions between miRNA and mRNA were screened, and 174 potential target genes were identified. We performed gene ontology (GO) function and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment analysis on these 174 target genes, and the results revealed that the three pathways with the highest enrichment were the PI3K‐Akt signaling pathway, FoxO signaling pathway, and Focal adhesion. The interaction analysis of PPI and miRNA‐hub gene networks revealed that interleukin 6 (IL‐6) was regulated by miR‐146a‐5p and miR‐149‐5p, while IL‐10 was regulated by miR‐29b‐3p and miR‐29c‐3. Using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction, we found that the miRNAs regulating IL‐6 and IL‐10 were significantly upregulated in the ANPC group, and there are three pathways involved in that process: Pathways of PI3K‐Akt signaling, FoxO signaling, and Focal adhesion. IL‐6 and IL‐10 play an important role in cellular pyroptosis and apoptosis. Therefore, the aforementioned results provide significant reference value for elucidating the mechanism of cellular pyroptosis and apoptosis in echinococcosis‐induced anaphylaxis, and for formulating tissue and organ protection strategies for patients with cystic echinococcosis when anaphylaxis is triggered by hydatid cyst rupture. KDP (Potassium dihydrogen phosphate) crystal is one of the artificially grown crystals that has attracted the most attention. Now the fast growth method, which may easily introduce the metal impurities, is widely investigated. These metal impurity ions seriously affect growth rate and optical properties of the crystal. In this paper, the metal impurities Fe3+, Ba2+ and Cu2+ were doped into the growth solution of KDP crystals. The content and distribution of these metal impurities in KDP crystals were analyzed by a 3 MeV proton beam. The results indicate the chemical composition of elements O, K and P did not change by the impact from the ion beam. The limit of detection of Fe3+ was calculated. The results show that the trivalent metal ions in KDP crystals are easier to enter the crystals versus divalent ions and most of them distributed uniformly in the crystal. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The topological one-way waveguide mode of the acoustic wave has recently been demonstrated in various meta-structure systems. Here, we show that in a topological phononic crystal with a symmetry-broken acoustic unit cell, the topological state possesses not just a "spin-like" pseudospin mode but also real spin angular momentum. By rotating the double-square units, the band of the phononic crystal will become inverse and induce both topological phase transition and spin angular momentum reversal. As such, by putting two topologically different systems together, the spin angular momentum dependent one-way interface modes can be selectively excited by acoustic spin sources, exhibiting robust transport protected by tight spin-momentum locking. The spin angular momentum density distribution in the unit cell and edge states shows that in addition to the pseudospin, there is a strong correlation between the real spin angular momentum and topological properties in this acoustic system, producing the topologically selective acoustic torque. Revealing the real spin angular momentum and associated acoustic spin torque properties of these topological phononic and acoustic systems will give people a more general understanding about symmetric breaking wave systems and help people to explore more potential applications of acoustic spins in various topological systems. We characterize some necessary and sufficient conditions of invertible Toeplitz operators acting on the Fock space. In particular, we study the Fredholm properties of Toeplitz operators with B M O 1 symbols, where their Berezin transforms are bounded functions of vanishing oscillation. We show the Fredholm index of the Toeplitz operator via the winding of its Berezin transform along a sufficiently large circle and provide a characterization of invertible Toeplitz operators with non-negative symbols, possibly unbounded, such that the Berezin transforms of the symbols are bounded and of vanishing oscillation. Inertial sensors can serve as inertial references for space missions and require charge management systems to maintain their on-orbit performance. To achieve non-contact charge management through UV discharge, effective control strategies are necessary to improve the optical power output performances of UV light sources while accurately modeling their operating characteristics. This paper proposes a low-power photo-electro-thermal model for widely used AlGaN-based UV LEDs, which comprehensively considers the interaction of optical, electrical, and thermal characteristics of UV LEDs during low-power operations. Based on this model, an optical power control system utilizing a fuzzy adaptive PID controller is constructed, in which a switch is introduced to coordinate the working state of the controller. Thus, the steady-state performance is effectively improved while ensuring dynamic performance. The results show that the proposed model has an average prediction error of 5.8 nW during steady-state operations, and the fuzzy adaptive PID controller with a switch can reduce the fluctuation of light output to 0.67 nW during a single discharge task, meeting the charge management requirements of high-precision inertial sensors. This paper studies the decentralised H ∞ filtering problem for interconnected discrete-time systems. In the developed decentralised filter scheme, only local output information is available for each local filter. The dynamics of the original system and the dynamics of the proposed filter are expressed as an augmented system. The system matrices of the augmented system consist of matrix inversion terms, which are computationally expensive and even meet numerical stability problems. In order to avoid the matrix inversion computation, this paper derives novel computationally attractive sufficient conditions without inversion terms to guarantee the H ∞ performance of the augmented system. Then, these conditions are transformed into linear matrix inequalities. The decentralised filter parameters can be obtained by solving linear matrix inequalities. Objectives: As the world's population is ageing, improving the physical performance (PP) of the older population is becoming important. Although diets are fundamental to maintaining and improving PP, few studies have addressed the role of these factors in adults aged ≥ 85 years, and none have been conducted in Asia. This study aimed to determine the dietary patterns (DP) and examine their relationship with PP in this population. Design: This cross-sectional study (Kawasaki Aging and Wellbeing Project) estimated food consumption using a brief-type self-administered diet history questionnaire. The results were adjusted for energy after aggregating into thirty-three groups, excluding possible over- or underestimation. Principal component analysis was used to identify DP, and outcomes included hand grip strength (HGS), timed up-and-go test, and usual walking speed. Setting: This study was set throughout several hospitals in Kawasaki city. Participants: In total, 1026 community-dwelling older adults (85–89 years) were enrolled. Results: Data of 1000 participants (median age: 86·9 years, men: 49·9 %) were included in the analysis. Three major DP (DP1: various foods, DP2: red meats and coffee, DP3: bread and processed meats) were identified. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that the trend of DP2 was negatively associated with HGS (B, 95 % CI –0·35, –0·64, –0·06). The morphinan alkaloid (–)-thebaine is an industrially important chemical intermediate deployed in the semi-synthesis of various opioid medicines. Here, a seven-step total synthesis of this natural product is reported from simple, commercially available starting materials. The pivotal aryl allyl ether substrate, which is obtained through successive Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling and Mitsunobu substitution reactions, was engaged in a double-Heck cyclization sequence. The tetracyclic product of these processes was subjected to a photochemical hydroamination reaction that generated a N -Boc piperidine derivative embodying the full pentacyclic morphinan framework. An efficient Ir(III)-catalyzed decarbonylative annulation of salicylaldehydes with cyclohexane-1,3-diones has been achieved via the in situ generated iodonium ylides. The reaction proceeds smoothly under mild and operationally simple conditions, affording a variety of benzofuran derivatives in moderate to high yields with good functional group tolerance. To verify the impact of tumour cell fraction on the variant allele frequency (VAF) of mutated genes, we classified the database samples into high-fraction and low-fraction groups based on the median tumour cell fraction. The emergence of next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology has enabled the large-scale identification of personalised genetic characteristics of colorectal cancer (CRC).[1] However, the accuracy may be influenced by certain sample factors, such as sampling methods, biospecimen type (fresh vs. formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded) and input DNA amount.[[2], [4]] We creatively performed a contrastive analysis based on homogenous paired real-world surgical tumour specimens to comprehensively assess the impact of low tumour cell fraction on the authenticity of somatic mutation calling. The VAF of majority of common hotspot variants in high tumour cell fraction samples displayed considerably higher or positive correlational trends than those in the low tumour cell fraction samples (Figure 1C). Hyperglycemia and increased activity of the renal angiotensin II (ANG II) system are two primary pathogenic stimuli for the onset and progression of podocyte injury in diabetic nephropathy. However, the underlying mechanisms are not fully understood. Store-operated Ca2+ entry (SOCE) is an important mechanism that helps maintain cell Ca2+ homeostasis in both excitable and nonexcitable cells. Our previous study demonstrated that high glucose (HG) enhanced podocyte SOCE (1). It is also known that ANG II activates SOCE by releasing endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+. However, the role of SOCE in stress-induced podocyte apoptosis and mitochondrial dysfunction remains unclear. The present study was aimed to determine whether enhanced SOCE mediated HG- and ANG II-induced podocyte apoptosis and mitochondrial damage. In kidneys of mice with diabetic nephropathy, the number of podocytes was significantly reduced. In cultured human podocytes, both HG and ANG II treatment induced podocyte apoptosis, which was significantly blunted by an SOCE inhibitor, BTP2. Seahorse analysis showed that podocyte oxidative phosphorylation in response to HG and ANG II was impaired. This impairment was significantly alleviated by BTP2. The SOCE inhibitor, but not a transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily C member 6 inhibitor, significantly blunted the damage of podocyte mitochondrial respiration induced by ANG II treatment. Furthermore, BTP2 reversed impaired mitochondrial membrane potential and ATP production and enhanced mitochondrial superoxide generation induced by HG treatment. Finally, BTP2 prevented the overwhelming Ca2+ uptake in HG-treated podocytes. Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze the role of ultrasound-guided vacuum-assisted excision (US-guided VAE) in the treatment of high-risk breast lesions and to evaluate the clinical and US features of the patients associated with recurrence or development of malignancy. Materials and methods: Between April 2010 and September 2021, 73 lesions of 73 patients underwent US-guided VAE and were diagnosed with high-risk breast lesions. The incidence of recurrence or development of malignancy for high-risk breast lesions was evaluated at follow-up period. The clinical and US features of the patients were analyzed to identify the factors affecting the recurrence or development of malignancy rate. Results: Only benign phyllodes tumors on US-guided VAE showed recurrences, while other high-risk breast lesions that were atypical ductal hyperplasia (ADH), lobular neoplasia (atypical lobular hyperplasia/lobular carcinoma in situ), radial scar, and flat epithelial atypia did not show recurrences or malignant transformation. The recurrence rate of the benign phyllodes tumor was 20.8% (5/24) in a mean follow-up period of 34.3 months. The recurrence rate of benign phyllodes tumor with distance from nipple of less than 1 cm was significantly higher than that of lesions with distance from nipple of more than 1 cm (75% vs. 10%, p < 0.05). Conclusions: Benign phyllodes tumors without concurrent breast cancer could be safely followed up instead of surgical excision after US-guided VAE when the lesions were classified as BI-RADS 3 or 4A by US.
