Abstract

Financial crisis early warning is an important link in financial management. With its relatively simple structure and excellent classification performance, support vector machine is often used in intelligent warning of financial crises. A financial warning model based on improved support vector machine is proposed to address the shortcomings of current financial warning methods that cannot handle large-scale data well, and the accuracy and efficiency are not ideal. In response to the excessive indicators in the financial early warning indicator system, the principal component analysis method is studied for dimensionality reduction, reducing the computational complexity of the model, and improving the training and operational efficiency of the model. In response to the limited practicality of support vector machine, which can only search for the optimal solution under constraint conditions, the use of smooth support vector machine to replace support vector machine for predictive classification is studied. Finally, a financial crisis early warning model is constructed based on smooth support vector machine using principal component analysis for dimensionality reduction of input data. The performance of the model is tested using an internet listed company as an example. The findings demonstrate that Model 1 outperforms the other three models in terms of accuracy rate (95%), MAE, MSE and U values (0.162, 0.174 and 0.169, respectively). Therefore, the financial crisis early warning model constructed by the research can properly forecast the company's financial situation, thereby helping the enterprise to develop better. 18. Genome-wide identification and evolution of ATP-binding cassette transporters in the ciliate Tetrahymena thermophila: A case of functional divergence in a multigene family

Abstract

Abstract Background In eukaryotes, ABC transporters that utilize the energy of ATP hydrolysis to expel cellular substrates into the environment are responsible for most of the efflux from cells. Many members of the superfamily of ABC transporters have been linked with resistance to multiple drugs or toxins. Owing to their medical and toxicological importance, members of the ABC superfamily have been studied in several model organisms and warrant examination in newly sequenced genomes. Results A total of 165 ABC transporter genes, constituting a highly expanded superfamily relative to its size in other eukaryotes, were identified in the macronuclear genome of the ciliate Tetrahymena thermophila. Based on ortholog comparisons, phylogenetic topologies and intron characterizations, each highly expanded ABC transporter family of T. thermophila was classified into several distinct groups, and hypotheses about their evolutionary relationships are presented. A comprehensive microarray analysis revealed divergent expression patterns among the members of the ABC transporter superfamily during different states of physiology and development. Many of the relatively recently formed duplicate pairs within individual ABC transporter families exhibit significantly different expression patterns. Further analysis showed that multiple mechanisms have led to functional divergence that is responsible for the preservation of duplicated genes. Conclusion Gene duplications have resulted in an extensive expansion of the superfamily of ABC transporters in the Tetrahymena genome, making it the largest example of its kind reported in any organism to date. Multiple independent duplications and subsequent divergence contributed to the formation of different families of ABC transporter genes. Many of the members within a gene family exhibit different expression patterns. The combination of gene duplication followed by both sequence divergence and acquisition of new patterns of expression likely plays a role in the adaptation of Tetrahymen a to its environment.

Abstract

Tetrahymena thermophila is a model eukaryotic organism. Functional genomic analyses in Tetrahymena present rich opportunities to address fundamental questions of cell and molecular biology. The Tetrahymena Gene Expression Database (TGED; available at http://tged.ihb.ac.cn) is the first expression database of a ciliated protozoan. It covers three major physiological and developmental states: growth, starvation, and conjugation, and can be accessed through a user-friendly web interface. The gene expression profiles and candidate co-expressed genes for each gene can be retrieved using Gene ID or Gene description searches. Descriptions of standardized methods of sample preparation and the opportunity to add new Tetrahymena microarray data will be of great interest to the Tetrahymena research community. TGED is intended to be a resource for all members of the scientific research community who are interested in Tetrahymena and other ciliates.

43. Metal-Organic Framework Template Synthesis of NiCo 2 S 4 @C Encapsulated in Hollow Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Cubes with Enhanced Electrochemical Performance for Lithium Storage.

Abstract

Owing to its richer redox reaction and remarkable electrical conductivity, bimetallic nickel cobalt sulfide (NiCo 2 S 4 ) is considered as an advanced electrode material for energy-storage applications. Herein, nanosized NiCo 2 S 4 @C encapsulated in a hollow nitrogen-doped carbon cube (NiCo 2 S 4 @D-NC) has been fabricated using a core@shell Ni 3 [Co(CN) 6 ] 2 @polydopamine (PDA) nanocube as the precursor. In this composite, the NiCo 2 S 4 nanoparticles coated with conformal carbon layers are homogeneously embedded in a 3D high-conduction carbon shell from PDA. Both the inner and the outer carbon coatings are helpful in increasing the electrical conductivity of the electrode materials and prohibit the polysulfide intermediates from dissolving in the electrolyte. When researched as electrode materials for lithium storage, owing to the unique structure with double layers of nitrogen-doped carbon coating, the as-obtained NiCo 2 S 4 @D-NC electrode maintains an excellent specific capacity of 480 mAh g -1 at 100 mA g -1 after 100 cycles. Even after 500 cycles at 500 mA g -1 , a reversible capacity of 427 mAh g -1 can be achieved, suggesting an excellent rate capability and an ultralong cycling life. This remarkable lithium storage property indicates its potential application for future lithium-ion batteries.
