The incorporation of defects and cocatalysts is known to be effective in improving photocatalytic activity, yet their coupled contribution to the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution process has not been well‐explored. In this study, We demonstrate that the incorporation of S vacancies and NiSe can contribute to the improvement of charge separation efficiency via the formation of a strong electric field within the bulk ZnIn2S4 (ZIS) and on its surface. More importantly, We also demonstrate that the synergy of S vacancies and NiSe benefits the overall hydrogen evolution activity by facilitating the H2O adsorption and dissociation process. This is particularly important for hydrogen evolution taking place under alkaline conditions where the proton concentration is low, allowing ZISv‐NiSe (containing abundant S vacancies) to outperform ZIS‐NiSe under alkaline conditions. In contrast, under acid conditions, since there are already sufficient amounts of protons available for reaction, the hydrogen evolution activity became governed by the hydrogen adsorption/desorption process rather than the H2O dissociation process. This leads to ZIS‐NiSe exhibiting higher activity than ZISv‐NiSe due to its more favorable hydrogen adsorption energy. The findings thus provide insights into how defect and cocatalyst modification strategies can be tailor‐made to improve hydrogen evolution activity under different pH conditions. The design of continuum structures often presents challenges related to stress concentration, which can cause significant structural damage. To address this issue, the current study presents a new stress minimization method that utilizes the Windowed Evolutionary Structural Optimization (WESO) framework. The method aims to improve algorithm stability by optimizing design variables with an intermediate density. The use of a P‐norm stress aggregation method improves the assessment of global stress levels and enhances computational efficiency. Furthermore, a stable element sensitivity formulation, derived from the adjoint sensitivity analysis of the global stress measure, effectively handles the nonlinear stress behavior. Mesh filtering techniques are utilized to convert sensitivity from elements to nodes, and the structural topological solution is represented using the level set function (LSF) based on element‐node sensitivity. This method addresses the singularity issue commonly found in density‐based optimization methods and facilitates the achievement of smooth topological solutions. Through 2D and 3D benchmark designs, the proposed method's feasibility, stability, and superiority are thoroughly demonstrated. A parametric study is conducted to identify the optimal parameter range for the algorithm, leading to the development of a rational method for parameter selection. The optimized topology, with its smooth boundaries, can guide the design of structures without the need for redesign or post‐processing, helping to drive innovation and development in engineering. Structural modification based on existing drugs, which ensures the safety of marketed drugs, is an essential approach in developing new drugs. In this study, we modified the structure of cabotegravir by introducing the front alkyne on the core structure through chemical reaction, resulting in the synthesis of 9 compounds resembling 1,2,3‐triazoles. The potential of these new cabotegravir derivatives as tumor suppressors in gastrointestinal tumors was investigated. Based on the MTT experiment, most compounds showed a reduction in the viability of KYSE30 and HCT116 cells. Notably, derivatives 5b and 5h exhibited the most significant inhibitory effects. To further explore the effects of derivatives 5b and 5h on gastrointestinal tumors, KYSE30 cells were chosen as a representative cell line. Both derivatives can effectively curtail the migration and invasion capabilities of KYSE30 cells and induce apoptosis in a dose‐dependent manner. We further demonstrated these derivatives induce cell apoptosis in KYSE30 cells by inhibiting the expression of Stat3 protein and Smad2/3 protein. To solve the instability of the compression bars in the space truss composed of GFRP tubes, a composite column with high-strength concrete (HSC) confined by glass fiber-reinforced plastic (GFRP) tube was proposed. High-strength self-compacting micro-expansive concrete with a slump greater than 255 mm was produced under normal-temperature curing conditions and confined by GFRP tubes. A mechanical performance test of the GFRP-confined HSC short column under axial compression was performed. The effects of GFRP tube types, concrete expansion agent, constraint effect, ultimate load capacity, and failure mode of the composite structure were discussed and analyzed through the test. A model of the stress-strain response of the GFRP confined HSC column was proposed. The results show that the 45° fiber-wound GFRP tube has a significant restraining effect on the HSC. The stress-strain relationship increases quadratically in a linear fashion. When the composite column was damaged, the GFRP fiber was broken and the concrete was crushed. The ultimate strength was about 1.5 times that of unconstrained HSC columns, and the loading method has less influence on the results. The expansion agent has a significant effect on the deformation performance of the composite column, and its ultimate strain was about 1.4 times that of the composite column without expansion agent. With the development of social industry and the increase in domestic sewage discharge, pathogenic bacterial contamination in water has become a serious health and environmental problem. It is important to design sewage treatment reagents with effective pathogenic bacterial removal and recyclability. In this work, we developed a nanocomposite, Fe3O4@TiO2@MoS2, with once-for-all effects of photocatalytic, magnetic, and peroxidase-like activities for solving the above-mentioned problems. The loading of MoS2 may cause the band gap of Fe3O4@TiO2 to decrease from 3.11 eV to 2.85 eV, demonstrating increased photocatalytic activity under visible light, based on the synergistic impact of Fe3O4@TiO2 and MoS2. In return, the peroxidase-like activity of Fe3O4@TiO2@MoS2 was significantly higher than that of Fe3O4 and MoS2 alone, resulting in the generation of more hydroxyl radicals (˙OH) for combating the drug-resistant broad-spectrum β-lactamase-producing Escherichia coli and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. The antibacterial mechanism study showed that Fe3O4@TiO2@MoS2 could effectively inhibit bacterial growth by destroying the bacterial biofilm and genome via the peroxidase-like activity as well as photocatalytic activity. In addition, Fe3O4@TiO2@MoS2 has excellent paramagnetic properties, which can achieve magnetic recovery after wastewater treatment.
