Abstract: Abstract Using 7.33 fb −1 of e + e − collision data samples collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 GeV, we search for the radiative decay D s + → γρ 770 + $$ {D}_s^{+}\to \gamma \rho {(770)}^{+} $$ for the first time. A hint of D s + → γρ 770 + $$ {D}_s^{+}\to \gamma \rho {(770)}^{+} $$ is observed with a statistical significance of 2.5σ. The branching fraction of D s + → γρ 770 + $$ {D}_s^{+}\to \gamma \rho {(770)}^{+} $$ is measured to be (2.2 ± 0.9stat. ± 0.2syst. ) × 10 −4, corresponding to an upper limit of 6.1 × 10 −4 at the 90% confidence level.

Abstract: Abstract Using e + e − collision data collected by the BESIII detector at BEPCII corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 30 fb −1, we measure Born cross sections and effective form factors for the process e + e − → Ξ 0 Ξ ¯ 0 $$ {e}^{+}{e}^{-}\to {\Xi}^0{\overline{\Xi}}^0 $$ at forty-five center-of-mass energies between 3.51 and 4.95 GeV. The dressed cross section is fitted, assuming a power-law function plus a charmonium(-like) state, i.e., ψ(3770), ψ(4040), ψ(4160), ψ(4230), ψ(4360), ψ(4415) or ψ(4660). No significant charmonium(-like) state decaying into Ξ 0 Ξ ¯ 0 $$ {\Xi}^0{\overline{\Xi}}^0 $$ is observed. Upper limits at the 90% confidence level on the product of the branching fraction and the electronic partial width are provided for each decay. In addition, ratios of the Born cross sections and the effective form factors for e + e − → Ξ 0 Ξ ¯ 0 $$ {e}^{+}{e}^{-}\to {\Xi}^0{\overline{\Xi}}^0 $$ and e + e − → Ξ − Ξ ¯ + $$ {e}^{+}{e}^{-}\to {\Xi}^{-}{\overline{\Xi}}^{+} $$ are also presented to test isospin symmetry and the vector meson dominance model.

Abstract: Abstract The branching fraction of D + → K S 0 π 0 e + ν e $$ {D}^{+}\to {K}_S^0{\pi}^0{e}^{+}{\nu}_e $$ is measured for the first time using 7.93 fb −1 of e + e − annihilation data collected at the center-of-mass energy s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, and is determined to be B D + → K S 0 π 0 e + ν e = 0.881 ± 0.017 stat . ± 0.016 syst . % $$ \mathcal{B}\left({D}^{+}\to {K}_S^0{\pi}^0{e}^{+}{\nu}_e\right)=\left(0.881\pm {0.017}_{\textrm{stat}.}\pm {0.016}_{\textrm{syst}.}\right)\% $$ . Based on an analysis of the D + → K S 0 π 0 e + ν e $$ {D}^{+}\to {K}_S^0{\pi}^0{e}^{+}{\nu}_e $$ decay dynamics, we observe the S-wave and P-wave components with fractions of f S-wave = (6.13 ± 0.27stat. ± 0.30syst. )% and f K ¯ ∗ 892 0 = 93.88 ± 0.27 stat . ± 0.29 syst . % $$ {f}_{{\overline{K}}^{\ast }{(892)}^0}=\left(93.88\pm {0.27}_{\textrm{stat}.}\pm {0.29}_{\textrm{syst}.}\right)\% $$ , respectively. From these results, we obtain the branching fractions B D + → K S 0 π 0 S − wave e + ν e = 5.41 ± 0.35 stat . ± 0.37 syst . × 10 − 4 $$ \mathcal{B}\left({D}^{+}\to {\left({K}_S^0{\pi}^0\right)}_{S-\textrm{wave}}{e}^{+}{\nu}_e\right)=\left(5.41\pm {0.35}_{\textrm{stat}.}\pm {0.37}_{\textrm{syst}.}\right)\times {10}^{-4} $$ and B D + → K ¯ ∗ 892 0 e + ν e = 4.97 ± 0.11 stat . ± 0.12 syst . % $$ \mathcal{B}\left({D}^{+}\to {\overline{K}}^{\ast }{(892)}^0{e}^{+}{\nu}_e\right)=\left(4.97\pm {0.11}_{\textrm{stat}.}\pm {0.12}_{\textrm{syst}.}\right)\% $$ . In addition, the hadronic form-factor ratios of D + → K ¯ ∗ 892 0 e + ν e $$ {D}^{+}\to {\overline{K}}^{\ast }{(892)}^0{e}^{+}{\nu}_e $$ at q 2 = 0, assuming a single-pole dominance parameterization, are determined to be r V = V 0 A 1 0 = 1.43 ± 0.07 stat . ± 0.03 syst . $$ {r}_V=\frac{V(0)}{A_1(0)}=1.43\pm {0.07}_{\textrm{stat}.}\pm {0.03}_{\textrm{syst}.} $$ and r 2 = A 2 0 A 1 0 = 0.72 ± 0.06 stat . ± 0.02 syst . $$ {r}_2=\frac{A_2(0)}{A_1(0)}=0.72\pm {0.06}_{\textrm{stat}.}\pm {0.02}_{\textrm{syst}.} $$ .

Abstract: Abstract Using e + e − annihilation data sets corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.5 fb −1, collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies between 4.600 and 4.699 GeV, we report the first measurements of the absolute branching fractions B Λ c + → p K L 0 $$ \mathcal{B}\left({\Lambda}_c^{+}\to p{K}_L^0\right) $$ = (1.67 ± 0.06 ± 0.04)%, B Λ c + → p K L 0 π + π − $$ \mathcal{B}\left({\Lambda}_c^{+}\to p{K}_L^0{\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-}\right) $$ = (1.69 ± 0.10 ± 0.05)%, and B Λ c + → p K L 0 π 0 $$ \mathcal{B}\left({\Lambda}_c^{+}\to p{K}_L^0{\pi}^0\right) $$ = (2.02 ± 0.13 ± 0.05)%, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. Combining with the known branching fractions of Λ c + → p K S 0 $$ {\Lambda}_c^{+}\to p{K}_S^0 $$ , Λ c + → p K S 0 π + π − $$ {\Lambda}_c^{+}\to p{K}_S^0{\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-} $$ , and Λ c + → p K S 0 π 0 $$ {\Lambda}_c^{+}\to p{K}_S^0{\pi}^0 $$ , we present the first measurements of the K S 0 $$ {K}_S^0 $$ - K L 0 $$ {K}_L^0 $$ asymmetries R Λ c + K S , L 0 X = B Λ c + → K S 0 X − B Λ c + → K L 0 X B Λ c + → K S 0 X + B Λ c + → K L 0 X $$ R\left({\Lambda}_c^{+},{K}_{S,L}^0X\right)=\frac{\mathcal{B}\left({\Lambda}_c^{+}\to {K}_S^0X\right)-\mathcal{B}\left({\Lambda}_c^{+}\to {K}_L^0X\right)}{\mathcal{B}\left({\Lambda}_c^{+}\to {K}_S^0X\right)+\mathcal{B}\left({\Lambda}_c^{+}\to {K}_L^0X\right)} $$ in charmed baryon decays: R Λ c + p K S , L 0 = − 0.025 ± 0.031 $$ R\left({\Lambda}_c^{+},p{K}_{S,L}^0\right)=-0.025\pm 0.031 $$ , R Λ c + p K S , L 0 π + π − = − 0.027 ± 0.048 $$ R\left({\Lambda}_c^{+},p{K}_{S,L}^0{\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-}\right)=-0.027\pm 0.048 $$ and R Λ c + p K S , L 0 π 0 = − 0.015 ± 0.046 $$ R\left({\Lambda}_c^{+},p{K}_{S,L}^0{\pi}^0\right)=-0.015\pm 0.046 $$ . No significant asymmetries with statistical significance are observed.

Abstract: Abstract The processes h c → γP (P = η′, η, π 0) are studied with a sample of (27.12 ± 0.14) × 108 ψ(3686) events collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The decay h c → γη is observed for the first time with the significance of 9.0 σ, and the branching fraction is determined to be (3.77 ± 0.55 ± 0.13 ± 0.26) × 10 −4, while B $$ \mathcal{B} $$ (h c → γη′) is measured to be (1.40 ± 0.11 ± 0.04 ± 0.10) × 10 −3, where the first uncertainties are statistical, the second systematic, and the third from the branching fraction of ψ(3686) → π 0 h c . The combination of these results allows for a precise determination of R h c = B h c → γη B h c → γ η ′ , $$ {R}_{h_c}=\frac{\mathcal{B}\left({h}_c\to {\pi}^0\gamma \eta \right)}{\mathcal{B}\left({h}_c\to {\pi}^0\gamma {\eta}^{\prime}\right)}, $$ which is calculated to be (27.0 ± 4.4 ± 1.0)%. The results are valuable for gaining a deeper understanding of η − η′ mixing, and its manifestation within quantum chromodynamics. No significant signal is found for the decay h c → γπ 0, and an upper limit is placed on its branching fraction of B $$ \mathcal{B} $$ (h c → γπ 0) < 5.0 × 10 −5, at the 90% confidence level.

Abstract: Abstract Using e + e − collision data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider at center-of-mass energies between 3.510 and 4.914 GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 25 fb −1, we measure the Born cross sections for the process e + e − → K − Ξ ¯ + Λ / Σ 0 $$ {e}^{+}{e}^{-}\to {K}^{-}{\overline{\Xi}}^{+}\Lambda /{\Sigma}^0 $$ at thirty-five energy points with a partial-reconstruction strategy. By fitting the dressed cross sections of e + e − → K − Ξ ¯ + Λ / Σ 0 $$ {e}^{+}{e}^{-}\to {K}^{-}{\overline{\Xi}}^{+}\Lambda /{\Sigma}^0 $$ , evidence for ψ 4160 → K − Ξ ¯ + Λ $$ \psi (4160)\to {K}^{-}{\overline{\Xi}}^{+}\Lambda $$ is found for the first time with a significance of 4.4σ, including systematic uncertainties. No evidence for other possible resonances is found. In addition, the products of electronic partial width and branching fraction for all assumed resonances decaying into K − Ξ ¯ + Λ / Σ 0 $$ {K}^{-}{\overline{\Xi}}^{+}\Lambda /{\Sigma}^0 $$ are determined.

Abstract: Abstract With a sample of (10087 ± 44) × 106 J/ψ events accumulated with the BESIII detector, we analyze the decays η′ → π + π − l + l − (l = e, μ) via the process J/ψ → γη′. The branching fractions are measured to be B $$ \mathcal{B} $$ (η′ → π + π − e + e − ) = (2.45 ± 0.02(stat.) ± 0.08(syst.)) × 10 −3 and B $$ \mathcal{B} $$ (η′ → π + π − μ + μ − ) = (2.16 ± 0.12(stat.) ± 0.06(syst.)) × 10 −5, and the ratio is B η ′ → π + π − e + e − B η ′ → π + π − μ + μ − = 113.4 ± 0.9 stat . ± 3.7 syst . $$ \frac{\mathcal{B}\left({\eta}^{\prime}\to {\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-}{e}^{+}{e}^{-}\right)}{\mathcal{B}\left({\eta}^{\prime}\to {\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-}{\mu}^{+}{\mu}^{-}\right)}=113.4\pm 0.9\left(\textrm{stat}.\right)\pm 3.7\left(\textrm{syst}.\right) $$ . In addition, by combining the η′ → π + π − e + e − and η′ → π + π − μ + μ − decays, the slope parameter of the electromagnetic transition form factor is measured to be b η′ = 1.30 ± 0.19 (GeV/c 2) −2, which is consistent with previous measurements from BESIII and theoretical predictions from the VMD model. The asymmetry in the angle between the π + π − and l + l − decay planes, which has the potential to reveal the CP-violation originating from an unconventional electric dipole transition, is also investigated. The asymmetry parameters are determined to be A CP η ′ → π + π − e + e − = − 0.21 ± 0.73 stat . ± 0.01 syst . % $$ {\mathcal{A}}_{CP}\left({\eta}^{\prime}\to {\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-}{e}^{+}{e}^{-}\right)=\left(-0.21\pm 0.73\left(\textrm{stat}.\right)\pm 0.01\left(\textrm{syst}.\right)\right)\% $$ and A CP η ′ → π + π − μ + μ − = 0.62 ± 4.71 stat . ± 0.08 syst . % $$ {\mathcal{A}}_{CP}\left({\eta}^{\prime}\to {\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-}{\mu}^{+}{\mu}^{-}\right)=\left(0.62\pm 4.71\left(\textrm{stat}.\right)\pm 0.08\left(\textrm{syst}.\right)\right)\% $$ , implying that no evidence of CP-violation is observed at the present statistics. Finally, an axion-like particle is searched for via the decay η′ → π + π − a, a → e + e − , and upper limits of the branching fractions are presented for the mass assumptions of the axion-like particle in the range of 0 − 500 MeV/c 2.

Abstract: Abstract Using e + e − collision data collected at the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 7.33 fb −1, we determine the absolute branching fractions of fifteen hadronic D s + $$ {D}_s^{+} $$ decays with a double-tag technique. In particular, we make precise measurements of the branching fractions B D s + → K + K − π + = 5.49 ± 0.04 ± 0.07 % $$ \mathcal{B}\left({D}_s^{+}\to {K}^{+}{K}^{-}{\pi}^{+}\right)=\left(5.49\pm 0.04\pm 0.07\right)\% $$ , B D s + → K S 0 K + = 1.50 ± 0.01 ± 0.01 % $$ \mathcal{B}\left({D}_s^{+}\to {K}_S^0{K}^{+}\right)=\left(1.50\pm 0.01\pm 0.01\right)\% $$ and B D s + → K + K − π + π 0 = 5.50 ± 0.05 ± 0.11 % $$ \mathcal{B}\left({D}_s^{+}\to {K}^{+}{K}^{-}{\pi}^{+}{\pi}^0\right)=\left(5.50\pm 0.05\pm 0.11\right)\% $$ , where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second ones are systematic. The CP asymmetries in these decays are also measured and all are found to be compatible with zero.

Abstract: Abstract Using (27.12 ± 0.14) × 108 ψ(3686) events collected by the BESIII detector at the center-of-mass energy of s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 3.686 GeV, we search for the first time for two nonleptonic hyperon decays that change strangeness by two units, Ω − → Σ0 π − and Ω − → nK − . No significant signal is observed. The upper limits on their decay branching fractions are determined to be B $$ \mathcal{B} $$ (Ω − → Σ0 π − ) < 5.4 × 10 −4 and B $$ \mathcal{B} $$ (Ω − → nK − ) < 2.4 × 10 −4 at the 90% confidence level.

Abstract: Abstract Using 24.1 fb −1 of e + e − collision data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, the Born cross sections and effective form factors of the e + e − → Σ + Σ ¯ − $$ {e}^{+}{e}^{-}\to {\Sigma}^{+}{\overline{\Sigma}}^{-} $$ reaction are measured. The measurements are performed at center-of-mass energies ranging from 3.510 to 4.951 GeV. No significant evidence for the decay of the charmonium(-like) states, ψ(3770), ψ(4040), ψ(4160), Y(4230), Y(4360), ψ(4415), and Y(4660), into a Σ + Σ ¯ − $$ {\Sigma}^{+}{\overline{\Sigma}}^{-} $$ final state is observed. Consequently, upper limits for the products of the branching fractions and the electronic partial widths at the 90% confidence level are reported for these decays.

Abstract: Abstract Using (27.12 ± 0.14) × 108 ψ(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector at BEPCII, the decay of ψ(3686) → Ω − K + Ξ ¯ 0 $$ {\varOmega}^{-}{K}^{+}{\overline{\Xi}}^0 $$ + c.c. is observed for the first time. The branching fraction of this decay is measured to be B ψ 3686 → Ω − K + Ξ ¯ 0 + c . c . $$ {\mathcal{B}}_{\psi (3686)\to {\varOmega}^{-}{K}^{+}{\overline{\Xi}}^0+\textrm{c}.\textrm{c}.} $$ = (2.78 ± 0.40 ± 0.18) × 10 −6, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. Possible baryon excited states are searched for in this decay, but no evident intermediate state is observed with the current sample size.

Abstract: Self-assembled epitaxial La0.7Sr0.3MnO3:NiO (LSMO:NiO) nanocomposite thin films were grown on (001)-oriented SrTiO3 substrates by pulsed laser deposition, and their microstructures and magnetoresistance (MR) properties were investigated. The room temperature MR effect at a low magnetic field has been realized in the composite films, and the maximum MR value is 18.7% at 300 K and 1 T. The room temperature MR properties at the low magnetic field can be attributed to the special structure, which is made up of the nano-sized LSMO and NiO columns. The room temperature MR properties at low magnetic fields will facilitate its extensive room temperature applications.

Abstract: Spin-orbit torques (SOTs) and the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMA) in Ta/W/CoFeB/MgO structures have been investigated by varying the thickness of the W layer. Addition of the W layer gives rise to enhancement of the annealing stability and perpendicular anisotropy field. After annealing at high temperature, a high-resistivity is obtained for samples with W layer (up to 2 nm thickness), which indicates the existence of β-W phase. A giant spin Hall angle of 0.50 is found in Ta/W/CoFeB/MgO structures with a 2 nm W layer by using the harmonic Hall voltage measurement. The lowest switching current density of 6 MA/cm2 is achieved in the sample with 1 nm W layer, indicating that a strong interfacial spin Hall effect may exist in the CoFeB/W interface. The study may provide a way to obtain simultaneously a large PMA as well as a high efficiency of SOTs.

Abstract: This research investigated a novel folic acid(FA)-modified zirconium core metal-organic framework(MOF) Uio-66 as a nanocarrier to deliver indocyanine green(ICG) and Sunitinib to cancer cells for combination therapy. Platinum-loaded Uio-66 nanoparticles(Pu) were synthesized via a one-pot method, followed by the modification with FA on their surfaces. This afforded FPu that enabled subsequent loading of ICG and Sunitinib to achieve dualmodal cancer therapy. Drug loading/release test and singlet oxygen detection were also conducted in vitro, and the nanoparticles showed considerable drug loading efficiency for both ICG and Sunitinib, coupled with a high singlet oxygen generation rate. Specifically, drug loading and encapsulation efficiency of Sunitinib were 2.30% and 72.67%, while those for ICG were 2.87% and 90.28%, respectively. Additionally, cytotoxicity test on HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cancer cell line revealed that the fully functional nanoparticles possess excellent biocompatibility and as such could be further investigated as a potential drug delivery system for effectual carcinoma cancer treatment.

Abstract: The desire for all-organic-composed nanoparticles (NPs) of considerable biocompatibility to simultaneously diagnose and treat cancer is undeniably interminable. Heretofore, metal-based agents dominate the landscape of available magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agents and photothermal therapeutic agents, but with associated metal-specific downsides. Here, an all-organic metal-free nanoprobe, whose appreciable biocompatibility is synergistically contributed by its tetra-organo-components, is developed as a viable alternative to metal-based probes for MRI-guided tumor-targeted photothermal therapy (PTT). This rationally entails a glycol chitosan (GC)-linked polypyrrole (PP) nanoscaffold that provides abundant primary and secondary amino groups for amidation with the carboxyl groups in a nitroxide radical (TEMPO) and folic acid (FA), to obtain GC-PP@TEMPO-FA NPs. Advantageously, the appreciably benign GC-PP@TEMPO-FA features high nitroxide loading (r1 = 1.58 mM-1 s-1) and in vivo nitroxide-reduction resistance, prolonged nitroxide-systemic circulation times, appreciable water dispersibility, potential photodynamic therapeutic and electron paramagnetic resonance imaging capabilities, considerable biocompatibility, and ultimately achieves a 17 h commensurate MRI contrast enhancement. Moreover, its GC component conveys a plethora of PP to tumor sites, where FA-mediated tumor targeting enables substantial NP accumulation with consequential near-complete tumor regression within 16 days in an MRI-guided PTT. The present work therefore promotes the engineering of organic-based metal-free biocompatible NPs in synergism, in furtherance of tumor-targeted image-guided therapy.

Abstract: Structural materials usually suffer from several attacks during their service, such as tension, fatigue and corrosion. It is necessary to synchronously improve these properties for their lightweight and long-lifetime, but corrosion resistance and ductility are generally inverse correlation with strength, it is very difficult to simultaneously optimize all three properties. However, bulk nanocrystalline 304 stainless steel (BN-304SS) produced by severe rolling technology possessed the larger yield and ultimate tensile strengths with sufficient elongation (> 40%) during tensile test, the larger saturation stress and longer lifetime during low-cycle fatigue, the enhanced uniform and pitting corrosion resistances during five-day immersion test in 6 mol/L HCl, the lowered stress corrosion cracking (SCC) susceptibility with larger yield (∾2.40 GPa) and ultimate tensile (∾2.66 GPa) strengths, and enough elongation (> 30%) during stress corrosion in comparison with conventional polycrystalline 304 stainless steel (CP-304SS) counterpart. The uniform and pitting corrosion resistances of fractured BN-304SS were enhanced in comprsion with those of fractured CP-304SS during seven-day immersion test in 1 mol/L HCl. These results demonstrated the strengths, ductility and corrosion resistances of BN-304SS can be simultaneously optimized by severe rolling technology. These improved results of BN-304SS in different disciplines were understood by its valence electron configurations rather than traditional microstructural parameters.

Abstract: In view of the normalization of epidemic prevention and control work, the low detection efficiency of traditional temperature measurement methods, and the existence of infection risks, an infrared thermal imaging temperature measurement system that can measure and identify the temperature of more than two people is designed. Identity recognition is based on OpenCv, using the Face Recognition face recognition framework to complete the identity recognition; body temperature detection is based on image registration, and the face position is mapped to the infrared image in real time through affine transformation, and finally the temperature of the human face area is obtained and displayed on the screen. The final experimental results show that it can simultaneously identify multiple people and detect body temperature with high accuracy, which can basically meet the requirements of rapid body temperature screening in intensive situations.

Abstract: Magnetic properties and coercivity mechanism of an anisotropic Ce–Nd–Fe–B film with a high Ce content (70 at. % Nd is replaced by Ce) have been investigated. After grain boundary diffusion with Tb layers, an enhancement of coercivity from 4150 to 9250 Oe is observed. Combining the initial magnetization curves, micromagnetic theory, and in-siut observation of magnetic domains in the demagnetization process, it is confirmed that the coercivity mechanism for the high-Ce-content magnets is the mixed type dominated by the pinning mechanism. Moreover, as the thickness of the Tb diffusion layer increases, the pinning center of domain walls changes from narrow planar inhomogeneities to wide planar inhomogeneities. A growing role of pinning plays in determining the coercivity of samples with increasing the thickness of Tb layer due to the increase in magnetocrystalline anisotropy after Tb substitution in the RE2Fe14B phase. In addition, the CeFe2 intergranular phase leads to the enhancement of coercivity due to decoupling the hard magnetic phase grains. Our results provide an insight into the coercivity mechanism of high-Ce-concentration Ce–Nd–Fe–B magnetic materials and promote the comprehension of the effect of Tb diffusion in the magnetization reversal process.

Abstract: The quest for an all‐organic nanosystem with negligible cytotoxicity and remarkable in vivo tumor theranostic capability is inescapably unending. Hitherto, the landscape of available photothermal agents is dominated by metal‐based nanoparticles (NPs) with attendant in vivo negatives. Here, an all‐organic‐composed theranostic nanosystem with outstanding biocompatibility for fluorescence image‐guided tumor photothermal therapy, and as a potential alternative to metal‐based photothermal agents is developed. This is rationally achieved by compartmentalizing indocyanine green (ICG) in glycol chitosan (GC)‐polypyrrole (PP) nanocarrier to form hybrid ICG@GC‐PP NPs (≈65 nm). The compartmentalization strategy, alongside the high photothermal conversion ability of PP jointly enhances the low photostability of free ICG. Advantageously, ICG@GC‐PP is endowed with an impeccable in vivo performance by the well‐known biocompatibility track records of its individual tri organo‐components (GC, PP, and ICG). As a proof of concept, ICG@GC‐PP NPs enables a sufficiently prolonged tumor diagnosis by fluorescence imaging up to 20 h post‐injection. Furthermore, owing to the complementary heating performances of PP and ICG, ICG@GC‐PP NPs‐treated mice by one‐time near‐infrared irradiation exhibit total tumor regression within 14 days post‐treatment. Therefore, leveraging the underlying benefits of this study will help to guide the development of new all‐organic biocompatible systems in synergism, for safer tumor theranostics.

Abstract: The localized and uniform corrosion resistances of bulk nanocrystalline 304 stainless steel (NC-304SS) produced by severe rolling technique, and its conventional polycrystalline 304 stainless steel (CC-304SS) counterpart, were investigated in high-concentration hydrochloric acid solutions at room temperature. NC-304SS can scarcely suffer from localized corrosion in 4 mol/L and 5 mol/L HCl solutions during 5-day immersion tests, and in 1–3 mol/L HCl solutions during thirty-five-day immersion tests. The corrosion rate of NC-304SS was also less than that of CC-304SS during these immersion tests. The improved localized and uniform corrosion resistances of NC-304SS were explained in terms of the adsorption and chemical activity of Cl− on NC-304SS and CC-304SS characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and the valence electron configurations of NC-304SS and CC-304SS were characterized by ultra-violet photoelectron spectroscopy rather than conventional electrochemical results.

Abstract: Self-assembled epitaxial La0.7Sr0.3MnO3:NiO (LSMO:NiO) nanocomposite thin films were grown on (001)-oriented SrTiO3 substrates by pulsed laser deposition, and their microstructures and magnetoresistance (MR) properties were investigated. The room temperature MR effect at a low magnetic field has been realized in the composite films, and the maximum MR value is 18.7% at 300 K and 1 T. The room temperature MR properties at the low magnetic field can be attributed to the special structure, which is made up of the nano-sized LSMO and NiO columns. The room temperature MR properties at low magnetic fields will facilitate its extensive room temperature applications.

Abstract: High abundant La and Ce elements have been supposed be a potential developing direction as the partial alternative to crucially relied Nd/Pr in the 2:14:1-type permanent magnets. In this work, we reported that adjusting the substitution ratio of La to Ce for inducing Ce valence is an effective strategy to prepare perpendicular magnetic anisotropic (LaxCe1-x)9Nd9Fe72B10 films (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) with good magnetic properties. Both X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy results illustrate the lattice expansion of RE2Fe14B tetragonal phase after lanthanum partially replaces cerium element. The increase of La content in the composition range of x ≤ 0.7 benefits Ce valence shifting towards the favorable Ce3+ state as verified by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results, leading to the enhancement of coercivity. Combining with characterization of domain morphology and micromagnetic theory analysis, the coercivity mechanism of domain reversal has been confirmed that with the increasing La content, it gradually tends to a dominant domain-wall-pinning mechanism from a mixed mechanism of domain-wall-pinning and nucleation behaving together. Our results provide a feasible method to enhance magnetic properties of high abundant rare-earth permanent magnetic films by manipulating doping element contents and are helpful to understand magnetization reversal behaviors in the films.

Abstract: Objective To investigate the expression of cannabinoid type 2 receptor （CB2R） at different time points after brain contusion and its relationship with wound age of mice. Methods A mouse brain contusion model was established with PCI3000 Precision Cortical Impactor. Expression changes of CB2R around the injured area were detected with immunohistochemical staining, immunofluorescent staining and Western blotting at different time points. Results Immunohistochemical staining results showed that only a few cells in the cerebral cortex of the sham operated group had CB2R positive expression. The ratio of CB2R positive cells gradually increased after injury and reached the peak twice at 12 h and 7 d post-injury, followed by a decrease to the normal level 28 d post-injury. The results of Western blotting were consistent with the immunohistochemical staining results. Immunofluorescent staining demonstrated that the changes of the ratio of CB2R positive cells in neurons, CB2R positive cells in monocytes and CB2R positive cells in astrocytes to the total cell number showed a single peak pattern, which peaked at 12 h, 1 d and 7 d post-injury, respectively. Conclusion The expression of CB2R after brain contusion in neurons, monocytes and astrocytes in mice suggests that it is likely to be involved in the regulation of the biological functions of those cells. The changes in CB2R are time-dependent, which suggests its potential applicability as a biological indicator for wound age estimation of brain contusion in forensic practice.小鼠脑挫伤后CB2R的表达变化与损伤时间的关系.目的检测小鼠脑挫伤后不同时间点大麻素2型受体（cannabinoid type 2 receptor，CB2R）的表达情况，并探索其与损伤时间的相关性。方法通过PCI3000精密颅脑损伤撞击器建立小鼠脑挫伤模型，利用免疫组织化学染色、免疫荧光染色和Western印迹法检测不同损伤时间点损伤区周围CB2R的表达变化。结果免疫组织化学染色结果显示，假手术组脑皮质中仅少量细胞呈CB2R阳性表达，脑挫伤后CB2R阳性细胞率逐渐升高，于伤后12 h和伤后7 d两次达到高峰，随后逐渐下降，至伤后28 d基本恢复至正常水平。Western印迹法检测结果与免疫组织化学染色结果一致。免疫荧光染色结果显示，脑挫伤后CB2R阳性神经元、CB2R阳性单核细胞、CB2R阳性星形胶质细胞数与总细胞数的比值变化均呈单峰模式，分别于伤后12 h、1 d、7 d达到高峰。结论小鼠脑挫伤后CB2R在神经元、单核细胞及星形胶质细胞中的表达提示，其可能参与调节这些细胞的生物学功能。脑挫伤后CB2R的动态表达存在时间规律性，有望成为法医学脑挫伤损伤时间推断的生物学指标。.法医病理学；脑损伤；免疫组织化学染色；免疫荧光技术；印迹法，蛋白质；大麻素2型受体；损伤时间推断；小鼠.

Abstract: Epitaxial Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O-3/12(0.7)Ca(0.3)MnO(3) (PZT/LCMO) bilayers with different LCMO thicknesses were deposited on Nb-doped (110) SrTiO3 substrates by pulsed laser deposition. The effects of the LCMO thickness on the ferroelectric and magnetic properties of the PZT/LCMO bilayers were studied. X-ray diffraction and TEM results showed that the lower LCMO layer has grown epitaxially on the NSTO substrate, and the upper PZT layer has grown epitaxially on the lower LCMO layer. The magnetic and ferroelectric properties of the PZT/LCMO bilayers increased with increasing the LCMO thickness, due to the change of the strain state in the LCMO and PZT layers. The in-plane tensile strain in the LCMO layer was relaxed with increasing the LCMO thickness, so that in which the Curie temperature and saturation magnetization were enhanced; the tensile strain in the out-of-plane direction in the PZT layer increased with increasing the LCMO thickness, which causes the increase of ferroelectric properties. Our results demonstrate that for the PZT/LCMO bilayers, the thickness of LCMO layer not only affects its own magnetic properties, but also the ferroelectric properties of the upper PZT layer, indicating that by optimizing the thickness of each layer will improve the multiferroic performance of the bilayers. Abstract: The magnetic structure of MnSn2 and magnetic phase transitions in this compound have been investigated by magnetic measurements on single crystals. The results show that two antiferromagnetic (AFM) states exist below 325 K and that a transition between these two phases occurs at 74 K. Applying a magnetic field (H) has great influence on the transition temperature. An anomalous magnetization process at low fields occurs when the magnetic field applied along the [110] direction, which is ascribed to the contribution of the basal anisotropy. Based on the data for the magnetization processes and the phase transition of the present single crystal, the H–T phase diagram has been established.

Abstract: In composite magnets, an in-depth understanding of magnetization reversal behaviors promotes optimizing the structure design of a magnet and improving its performance. In this work, the perpendicular magnetic anisotropic Ta/La–Pr–Fe–B/Dy/La–Pr–Fe–B/Ta multilayers have been prepared by adjusting the thickness of the Dy layer. The domain reversal evolutionary procedure has been investigated in different aspects including the characterization of domain morphology, micromagnetic analysis, and irreversible reversal distribution. It is confirmed that the nucleation mechanism is dominant in determining the coercivity of the multilayers with Dy diffusion. Dy diffusion helps to enhance the coercivity of the multilayers. The formation of Dy-containing hard magnetic phases and rare-earth-rich grain boundary phases by adding the Dy element leads to a strong nucleation field and isolation of hard magnetic phase grains, respectively. Our results aid in the understanding of magnetization reversal behaviors and enhance the magnetic properties of highly abundant rare-earth permanent magnetic multilayer films with the doping element.

40. Three-vessel-trachea view in the diagnosis of fetal cardiac great vessel malformation

Abstract: Fetal cardiac great vessel malformation is attracting increasing attention in the prenatal ultrasonic diagnosis of fetal congenital heart disease. To investigate the clinical diagnostic values of three-vessel-trachea view (3VT view) in the ultrasonic diagnosis of this malformation, the present study analyzed the echocardiographic examination results of 77 fetuses with great vessel malformation, retrospectively analyzed the echocardiographic characteristics in the three-vessel-trachea view, and followed up the enrolled cases. The results suggest that great vessel malformation had characteristic manifestations, such as abnormal arrangement order, inner diameter, blood flow direction and branch. Color Doppler flow imaging found V, O, C, U, Ioo and oVo structures. There were 20 cases of blood vessel position abnormality, 38 cases of abnormal blood vessel diameter, and 19 cases of abnormal number of blood vessels. The detection rate of abnormal blood vessel diameter was 95%, which was the highest; the detection rate of abnormal blood vessel position was 97.4%, and that of abnormal number of blood vessels was 84.2%. It is concluded that the 3VT view can indicate fetal cardiac great vessel malformation. The 3VT view is beneficial to timely prenatal diagnosis, relief of body pain and improvement of quality of birth.

Abstract: In the present work, lanthanum nickel oxide (LNO) thin films are prepared with the sol–gel multilayer coating method. Lattice-matched SrTiO3 (STO) buffer layer is introduced to tailor the film–substrate interface. The effect of interface structure on the electrical properties, microstructure and chemical composition of LNO films is investigated. The results show that the improvement in the interface structure minimizes the effect of interface on the electrical properties of LNO films and leads to a sharp decrease in room-temperature resistivity of LNO films to 570 μΩ cm, comparable to that of the LNO films on single-crystal STO substrate. This is ascribed to the decrease in structural disorder and the concentration of oxygen vacancies in the LNO films.

Abstract: The effect of antiferromagnetic (AFM) layer on exchange bias (EB), training effect, and magnetotransport properties in ferromagnetic (FM) /AFM nanoscale antidot arrays and sheet films Ag(10 nm)/Co(8 nm)/NiO(tNiO)/Ag(5 nm) at 10K is studied. The AFM layer thickness dependence of the EB field shows a peak at tNiO=2 nm that is explained by using the random field model. The misalignment of magnetic moments in the three-dimensional antidot arrays causes smaller decrease of EB field compared with that in the sheet films for training effect. The anomalous magnetotransport properties, in particular positive magnetoresistance (MR) for antidot arrays but negative MR for sheet films are found. The training effect and magnetotransport properties are strongly affected by the three-dimensional spin-alignment effects in the antidot arrays. VC 2014 AIP Publishing LLC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract: We present a detailed study on magnetic properties of mixed spin oxide Li2/7Ni5/7O, where small ferromagnetic (FM) clusters (with averaged diameter of ~18 Å) immersed with an antiferromagnetic (AFM) host. The exchange bias (EB) with shifts of the hysteresis loop along both the field and magnetization axes is found, which is due to the interfacial interaction between the FM clusters and the AFM host. An AFM interfacial exchange coupling is deduced from the exchange interactions between Ni ions. The type and strength of this interfacial exchange interaction are discussed in terms of the EB at low temperature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract: Developmental dislocation of the hip(DDH) is one of the most serious hip diseases. Patients with unilateral DDH are prone to secondary osteoarthritis, low back pain, gait disturbance and compensatory scoliosis because of the leg length discrepancy. Total hip arthroplasty(THA) is the highly effective treatment for patients with hip pain or dysfunction caused by unilateral DDH, thus decrease the demand for hip-preserving surgeries such as capsular arthroplasty which may postpone or avoid hip replacement. However, the failure rate of THA for young patients is high and the majority of young patients may require one or more revision arthroplasties throughout their lifetime. The basic principle of capsular arthroplasty is that the femoral head wrapped by capsule is placed into a newly reamed socket on the location of true acetabulum. Therefore, hip replacement for patients with previous capsular arthroplasty becomes easier and safer than primary THA. However, the early capsular arthroplasty have been abandoned due to the relatively high rates of femoral head necrosis and hip stiffness. Ganz modified the early procedure with the technique of surgical hip dislocation in 2012, and emphasized the importance of postoperative rehabilitation. The incidence of complication, therefore, decreased greatly due to the preservation of main blood supply of femoral head as well as the proper postoperative management. In order to improve the clinical outcomes of this modified procedure, the selection of indications and surgeons' experience should also be taken into consideration.发育性髋关节脱位是严重的髋关节疾病之一。对于单侧髋关节脱位患者，双下肢不等长明显，不及时干预可继发骨关节炎、下腰部疼痛及脊柱侧凸等严重问题，最终需行人工全髋关节置换术；对于活动需求大的青少年患者，其假体寿命缩短，失败率高，髋关节翻修术数量相应增加。关节囊成形术使关节囊完整包裹于股骨头，并在髋臼成形后复位股骨头，可推迟或避免关节置换，且股骨头复位至真臼，降低了将来髋关节置换术的手术难度。早期关节囊成形术后股骨头坏死、关节僵硬、关节炎等并发症发生率高，该手术方式逐渐被放弃。近年来，通过结合髋关节外科脱位技术进行改良，并强调术后康复重要性，大大降低了并发症发生率，改良关节囊成形术在青少年单侧髋关节脱位患者保髋治疗中的地位越来越突出。为提高手术效果，应注重适应证的选择、严格的手术操作及合适的术后康复锻炼。.

Abstract: In this manuscript, recent experimental research progresses in topological insulators Bi2Se3 and Bi2Te3 based nanostructures are presented, with a focus on nanoflakes, nanoplates, nanosheets, nanowires, and thin films of Bi2Te3 based topological insulator materials. Among the various synthesis methods, the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method is described here as an example for the synthesis of topological insulator nanomaterials. The Raman spectroscopy and electrical transport characterizations are discussed on a few different types of topological insulators, such as binary/ternary/quaternary compound and elementally-doped nanostructures and films.

Abstract: The epitaxial Mn0.98Cr0.02Te films on single crystal Al2O3 (0001) substrates were prepared by pulsed laser deposition. The X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy results showed that the good continuous epitaxial film was obtained with substrate temperature of 500 degrees C. When the substrate temperature reached 700 degrees C, the film was island growth and the manganese oxides phase appeared. The temperature dependence of both the magnetization and electrical resistance showed a sharp rise at around 60 K due to the magnetoelastic coupling. The temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of Mn0.98Cr0.02Te provided evidence for a transition from the metallic to semiconducting state at 305 K due to the spin disorder scattering with a large contribution from the influence of magnon drag.

Abstract: La0.7Sr0.3MnO3/BaTiO3 bilayer films were grown on SrTiO3 (001) substrates buffered with SrRuO3 films as the bottom electrodes by pulsed laser deposition. The quality of the La0.7Sr0.3MnO3/BaTiO3/SrRuO3/SrTiO3 films was analyzed by means of transmission electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy. It is found that each layer grows epitaxially on its bottom layer. La0.7Sr0.3MnO3/BaTiO3 bilayer films exhibit typical ferroelectric hysteresis loops for BaTiO3 films with the remnant polarization of 16.2 mu C/cm(2) at driven field of 278 kV/cm and ferromagnetic hysteresis loops for La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 film with the coercive field of about 4 kA/m and the saturation magnetization of 205 kA/m at 295 K. The effect of ferroelectric BaTiO3 layer poling on the resistivity of ferromagnetic La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 layer was also investigated. (C) 2013 Elsevier B. V. All rights reserved.

Abstract: Effect of Ga content on the phase constitution, magnetic phase transition temperatures ( T C ), and exchange bias (EB) behaviors of Fe 50 Mn 24+ x Ga 26− x ( x = 0, 0.5, 1, 3) as-spun ribbons have been investigated. Fe 50 Mn 24 Ga 26 ribbon exhibits a magnetic phase transition of B2-type structure from FM to PM state at T C1 = 190 K. Another magnetic phase transition of face-center-cubic structure from AFM to FM takes place at T C2 = 240 K for Fe 50 Mn 25 Ga 25 sample. The values of exchange bias field ( H E ) at 10 K after field-cooling (FC) at 30 kOe from 300 K are 14, 41, 1886, 1740 Oe, respectively, as x is increased from 0 to 3. The phenomena are attributed to the change of exchange interactions at FM/AFM interfaces due to the change of proportion of FM and AFM phases in low temperature magnetic states. The maximum exchange bias field H E = 2.4 kOe at 10 K after field-cooling at 40 kOe is observed for Fe 50 Mn 25 Ga 25 .
