To address organic dye pollution and agricultural waste comprehensive utilization, the biochar (ZB) was prepared using Rosa roxburghii residue as the material for preparation. Three modified biochars (ZBO, ZBS, and ZBH) were created using NaOH, Na2S, and H3PO4 as modifying agents. The morphology, structure, pore size, and elemental composition of biochars were characterized and analyzed by a combination of FTIR, SEM-EDS, and N2 adsorption–desorption techniques. Furthermore, the adsorption performance of the as-prepared biochars was investigated in the adsorption of RhB and MB dye process. The experimental findings showed that adsorption equilibrium for these dyes was achieved in 180 min. Moreover, the dye adsorption on biochars followed a pseudo-second-order kinetic equation. For the biochar (ZB), the Langmuir equation proved to be more appropriate than the Freundlich equation. In contrast, the Freundlich equation was more apt for the modified biochars. More importantly, Pearson's correlation analysis revealed that the adsorption rate and capacity of RhB positively correlated with the specific pore volume, t-plot micropore area, and BET surface area, but a negative one with the pore size. The MB adsorption showed the opposite correlations. This study reveals a novel biochar for adsorbing organic dyes, which provides a strategy for the treatment of Rosa roxburghii residue.

BackgroundThe incidence of mental disorders is steadily increasing. However， antipsychotic medications， commonly used in treatment， can lead to drug-induced amenorrhea in female patients. This side effect significantly reduces medication adherence and increases the risk of disease recurrence. Therefore， addressing drug-induced amenorrhea in female patients has become an urgent problem requiring effective solutions.ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine compound in treating antipsychotic-induced amenorrhea， so as to provide guidance for the treatment of this condition using traditional Chinese medicine compound.MethodsOn September 4， 2022， a computerized search was conducted on across multiple databases， including China National Knowledge Infrastructure， VIP Database， Wanfang Database， China Biomedical Literature Database， PubMed， Cochrane Library and Embase， and randomized controlled trials （RCT） of traditional Chinese medicine compound in treating antipsychotic-induced amenorrhea were collected. The quality of the included literature was assessed using Cochrane 5.3 bias risk assessment tool. Meta-analysis was performed to assess the total effective rate， cure rate， incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate using RevMan 5.3.ResultsUltimately， 22 RCT involving 1 879 patients were included. Meta-analysis results showed that the total effective rate （RR=1.29， 95% CI： 1.16~1.44） and cure rate （RR=1.62， 95% CI： 1.45~1.80） of traditional Chinese medicine compound or its combination with western medicine in treating antipsychotic-induced amenorrhea were significantly higher compared to western medicine alone. Moreover， the incidence of adverse reactions （RR=0.56， 95% CI： 0.41~0.76） and recurrence rate （RR=0.16， 95% CI： 0.06~0.42） were significantly lower than those of western medicine alone.ConclusionTraditional Chinese medicine compound may offer benefits in ameliorating antipsychotic-induced amenorrhea and its safety is better than simple western medicine treatment.

Liver fibrosis is a type of chronic pathological liver damage involving liver tissue hypoxia and abnormal extracellular matrix deposits. Hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) activation is critical for liver fibrosis. Currently, inhibiting HSCs activation or inducing HSCs ferroptosis is considered an effective strategy for the treatment of liver fibrosis. Sarcoma protein kinase (Src) is an important member of the tyrosine protein kinase family. Hypoxia causes Src phosphorylation at tyrosine 416 (Tyr 416), and inhibiting Src activation can alleviate liver fibrosis. There is currently little research on the relationship between Src activation and ferroptosis in liver fibrosis. 1-(1,1-Dimethylethyl)-1-(4-methylphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-amine (PP1) is an inhibitor of Src activation at Tyr 416. Therefore, in this study we treated HSC-T6 cells with PP1 under normoxic and hypoxic culture conditions; moreover, PP1 was also used to treat a carbon tetrachloride-induced mouse liver fibrosis model. We explored whether inhibiting Src activation could alleviate liver fibrosis by promoting HSCs ferroptosis in vitro and in vivo. In vitro experiments showed that inhibiting Src activation in HSC-T6 cells significantly reduced hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) expression and HSC-T6 cells activation, and ferroptosis was significantly increased. In vivo experiments revealed that inhibiting Src activation in fibrotic livers reduced HIF-1α expression; meanwhile, ferroptosis was promoted, and liver fibrosis was alleviated. Therefore, inhibiting Src activation, which increases HSCs ferroptosis, can alleviate liver fibrosis.

【Objective】 The movement of irrigation water in soil is an important parameter in irrigation design. It is affected by many factors. This paper investigates the impact of initial soil water on infiltration of subsurface irrigation water in an aeolian sandy soil. 【Method】 The outdoor experiment was conducted in tanks repacked with the sandy soil, with the initial soil water content controlled at 5.1%, 11.5%, 16.8%. The movement of the wet zone in each treatment was monitored visually. Infiltration processed was simulated by different analytical models. 【Result】 The wet zone in all treatments was approximately elliptical, with the center located at the perfusion pipe. Increasing initial soil water content accelerated the movement of the wetting front but reduced the cumulative infiltration amount and infiltration rate. The cumulative infiltration amount increased with infiltration time in a power-law function, and the infiltration index increased with the initial water content. Comparison with measured data revealed that the R2 of the Kostiakov model, Philip model, empirical model and Horton model was 0.783, 0.785, 0.923 and 0.943, respectively. When the initial water content was 5.1%, 11.5% and 16.8%, the burial depth of the irrigation pipe should not exceed 10, 20 and 30 cm, respectively, and the associated pipe spacing not exceed 30, 60 and 90 cm, respectively. 【Conclusion】 Increasing initial soil water content in aeolian sandy soil allows the irrigation pipes to be buried deeper and spaced widely. These findings are helpful for designing subsurface irrigation in aeolian sandy soil which is common in northwestern China.

Legal judgment prediction is becoming a research hotspot in the legal field as an important artificial intelligence-assisted decision-making tool in legal case management, which is able to predict judgment results. In this paper, data from the 2018 China Law Research Cup competition is gathered, and the dataset is preprocessed in the context of international economic law. Then, a multi-task model for legal verdict prediction is proposed, and the training optimization and prediction of the model are designed using CNN, RNN, and LSTM as the semantic coding layer. The model proposed in this paper achieves a significant improvement of 8% and 6% in the accuracy of the model in the prediction of the charging task and the legal sentence task, respectively. In case outcome prediction, the accuracy of the model proposed in this paper is improved by 14.6% on average compared to the feature model-based modeling approach.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and related adverse reactions of the combination of camrelizumab with anlotinib as the third-line therapy on advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 84 patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer after second-line treatment. According to different treatment methods, 44 patients who received camrelizumab combined with anlotinib were included in the observation group, and 40 patients who received anlotinib alone were included in the control group. The PFS, ORR, DCR and incidence of adverse reactions were analyzed and compared between the two groups. Results The median PFS of the observation group was longer than that of the control group (7.0 vs. 5.6 months, P=0.001). No statistically significant difference was observed in ORR, DCR, the incidence of adverse reactions or the incidence of adverse reactions above grade 3 between two groups (all P > 0.05). Conclusion The clinical efficacy of camrelizumab combined with anlotinib as third-line therapy on advanced non-small cell lung cancer is better than anlotinib alone, and the safety is good.

ObjectiveTo analyze the epidemiological characteristics and the vaccination status of the cases in Jing’an District from 2017 to 2019， so as to provide reference basis for the strategy of prevention and control of varicella epidemic.MethodsDescriptive epidemiological methods were used to analyze the epidemiological characteristics of varicella in Jing’an District. The differences between the vaccinated group and the unvaccinated group were compared by statistical methods.ResultsA total of 2 508 cases of varicella were reported with an average annual incidence of 78.7/105 from 2017 to 2019. There was no significant difference in the incidence among the three years（χ2=5.535，P=0.063）. There were 1 308 males and 1 200 females， and sex ratio was 1.1∶1. The highest incidence occurred in the age group from 5 to 9 years old （562 cases， 479.3/105）. Two annual peaks occured in May and November. The incidence in the aged 18 and below decreased year by year. There was significant difference in the proportion among the three years（χ2=78.129， P

Replica symmetry breaking (RSB) has been widely recognized as a statistical analysis approach to understand the disorder and nonlinear interactions in complex systems ranging from atoms to the cosmic scale. However, it is challenging to analyze the nonlinear optical characteristics of random laser (RL) in disordered gain medium via RSB due to the lack of a general RSB-based statistical analysis framework. In this work, we report the tunable RSB in polymer fiber RL, where the effects of temperature and different structures on RSB are investigated experimentally and theoretically. It experimentally proves that RSB in RL is not robust, and disorder and temperature are responsible for tunable RSB in RL, which contributes to the improvement of the statistical analysis framework for investigating the optical principles of RL using RSB. And the finding of the tunable RSB allows to investigate the dynamical differences for various RL systems, which broadens the directions for the use of spin-glass theory to explore the physical mechanism of RL.

The present study aimed to investigate the role of tea polyphenols (TP) playing in glucose metabolism in male ceruloplasmin knockout mice (CP−/−), an iron-overloaded model. Compared to wild-type CP+/+ mice, CP−/− mice exhibited hyperglycemia, insulin resistance and excess iron deposition in liver tissue. Increased hepatic oxidative stress (P＜0.05), apoptosis, and reduced gene expression of insulin receptor substrate 2 (IRS2) and glucose transporter 2 (GLUT2) were found in CP−/− mice (P＜0.05). TP treatment may ameliorate hepatic iron overload, oxidative stress and apoptosis, improve insulin sensitivity by upregulating IRS2 and GLUT2 expressions. TP administration could improve glucose homeostasis in CP−/− mice by alleviating hepatic iron-overload, oxidative stress, hepatocyte apoptosis, and restoring insulin signaling pathway.

Matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) and cluster of differentiation 147 (CD147) both play important roles in the development of kidney fibrosis, and CD147 can induce the production and activation of MMP-2. In the early stage of kidney fibrosis, MMP-2 promotes extracellular matrix (ECM) production and accelerates the development of kidney fibrosis, while in the advanced stage, MMP-2 activity decreases, leading to reduced ECM degradation and making it difficult to alleviate kidney fibrosis. The reason for the decrease in MMP-2 activity in the advanced stage is still unclear. On the one hand, it may be related to hypoxia and endocytosis, which lead to changes in the expression of MMP-2-related active regulatory molecules; on the other hand, it may be related to insufficient CD147 function. At present, the specific process by which CD147 is involved in the regulation of MMP-2 activity is not completely clear, and further in-depth studies are needed to clarify the roles of both factors in the pathophysiology of kidney fibrosis.

In waveguided nematic liquid crystal random lasers (NLCRLs), we realize polarized random laser (RL) emission and discover that the waveguide effect reduces the transmission loss of the RL whose polarization is parallel to the liquid crystal molecules (LCMs). Compared with the traditional liquid crystal random lasers, the waveguide NLCRLs can achieve the regulation of RLs strength, polarization, and wavelength in the same structure. The electric field can drive the rotation of LCMs to control the RL polarization and intensity. The drop of horizontal polarization laser and the increase of vertical polarization laser prove the role of the waveguide effect. In addition, the disorder of the waveguided NLCRLs is highly sensitive to temperature, which makes it easy to control the wavelength and intensity of the RL. As the temperature rises, the waveguide effect is weakened, resulting in a weakening of the restriction along liquid crystal (LC) cell normal direction. The reduced laser intensity verifies the role of the waveguide effect.

Objective To investigate the expression of TP53, PDGF and EGFR in primary astrocytomas, and analyze their correlation with clinicopathological features and prognosis. Methods We analyzed retrospectively the clinicopathological data of 90 patients with primary astrocytoma. The expressions of TP53, PDGF and EGFR in primary astrocytoma tissue samples were detected by immunohistochemistry. The survival of patients was followed up and Cox regression analysis was used to determine the prognostic factors. Results TP53 was expressed in the nucleus, PDGF and EGFR were expressed in the cytoplasm and cell membrane. The positive expression rates of TP53, PDGF and EGFR were 58.89%, 51.11% and 48.89%, significantly higher than those in normal brain tissues (all P < 0.05); the positive expression rate of TP53 in patients with tumor size ≥3 cm was higher than that in patients with tumor size < 3 cm. The positive expression rates of TP53, PDGF and EGFR in patients with WHO stages Ⅲ-Ⅳ were higher than those in patients with WHO stageⅠ-Ⅱ(all P < 0.05); the survival time of patients with positive expression of TP53, PDGF and EGFR were shorter than those of negative expression (all P < 0.05). Cox regression analysis found that WHO staging, TP53, PDGF and EGFR were all factors influencing the prognosis of primary astrocytomas patients. Conclusion TP53, PDGF and EGFR are highly expressed in primary astrocytomas and closely related to tumor progression. They are factors that affect the prognosis of patients.

A Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) ultra-wideband radar can detect the range and azimuth information of targets in real time. It is widely used for geological surveys, life rescue, through-wall tracking, and other military or civil fields. This paper presents the design of an ultra-wideband pseudo random coded MIMO radar that is based on Radio Frequency (RF) switches and implements a MIMO radar system. RF switches are employed to reduce cost and complexity of the system. As the switch pressure value is limited, the peak power of the transmitting signal is 18 dBm. The ultra-wideband radar echo is obtained by hybrid sampling, and pulse compression is computed by Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) embedded in an Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) to simplify the signal process. The experiment illustrates that the radar system can detect the range and azimuth information of targets in real time.

The development of Power Internet of Things has brought a variety of access requirements for massive collecting terminals. Based on the characteristics of security attributes of Power Internet of Things, this paper proposes a secure access protocol based on symmetric cryptographic algorithm for the large number of collecting terminals with limited manufacturing cost, computing power and storage resources. This protocol only uses the symmetric cryptographic algorithm which has the fast computing speed and low resource consumption, and the protocol can realize two-way identity authentication between the collecting terminal and master station. At the same time, combined with the historical access mechanism, it improves the access efficiency of the collecting terminals, and realizes the safe and fast access of the collecting terminal. Finally, compared with other protocols, the proposed protocol is also effective in security and performance.

Magnetic field structures on the solar atmosphere are not symmetric distribution in the northern and southern hemispheres, which is an important aspect of quasi-cyclical evolution of magnetic activity indicators that are related to solar dynamo theories. Three standard analysis techniques are applied to analyze the hemispheric coupling (north-south asymmetry and phase asynchrony) of monthly averaged values of solar Hα flare activity over the past 49 years (from 1966 January to 2014 December). The prominent results are as follows: (1) from a global point of view, solar Hα flare activity on both hemispheres are strongly correlated with each other, but the northern hemisphere precedes the southern one with a phase shift of 7 months; (2) the long-range persistence indeed exists in solar Hα flare activity, but the dynamical complexities in the two hemispheres are not identical; (3) the prominent periodicities of Hα flare activity are 17 years full-disk activity cycle and 11 years Schwabe solar cycle, but the short- and mid-term periodicities cannot determined by monthly time series; (4) by comparing the non-parametric rescaling behavior on a point-by-point basis, the hemispheric asynchrony of solar Hα flare activity are estimated to be ranging from several months to tens of months with an average value of 8.7 months. The analysis results could promote our knowledge on the long-range persistence, the quasi-periodic variation, and the hemispheric asynchrony of solar Hα flare activity on both hemispheres, and possibly provide valuable information for the hemispheric interrelation of solar magnetic activity.
