In this paper, by applying the deformed dispersion relation in quantum gravity theory, we study the correction of fermions' tunneling radiation from non-stationary symmetric black holes. Firstly, the motion equation of fermions is modified in the gravitational spacetime. Based on the motion equation, the modified Hamilton-Jacobi equation has been obtained by a semiclassical approximation method. Then, the tunneling behavior of fermions at the event horizon of non-stationary symmetric Kerr black hole is investigated. Finally, the results show that in the non-stationary symmetric background, the correction of Hawking temperature and the tunneling rate are closely related to the angular parameters of the horizon of the black hole background., Comment: 13 pages, Submitted to Adva. In this paper, we attempt to study the Joule-Thomson expansion for the regular black hole in an anti-de Sitter background, and obtain the inversion temperature and curve for the Bardeen-AdS black hole in the extended phase space. We investigate the isenthalpic and inversion curves for the Bardeen-AdS black hole in the T-P plane to find the intersection points between them are exactly the inversion points discriminating the heating process from the cooling one. And, the inversion curve for the regular(Bardeen)-AdS black hole is not closed and there is only a lower inversion curve in contrast with that of the Van der Walls fluid. Most importantly, we find the ratio between the minimum inversion and critical temperature for the regular(Bardeen)-AdS black hole is 0.536622, which is always larger than all the already-known ratios for the singular black hole. This larger ratio for the Bardeen-AdS black hole in contrast with the singular black hole may stem from the fact that there is a repulsive de Sitter core near the origin of the regular black hole., Comment: 17 pages, 6 figures; Added discussion in section 4

In this paper, we use the latest results of the ultra-high accuracy 1S-2S transition experiments in hydrogen atom to constrain the forms of the deformed dispersion relation in the nonrelativistic limit. For the leading correction of the nonrelativistic limit, the experiment sets a limit at an order of magnitude for the desired Planck-scale level, thereby providing another example of the Planck-scale sensitivity in the study of the dispersion relation in controlled laboratory experiments. In this paper, we have applied the Lorentz-invariance-violation (LIV) class of dispersion relations (DR) with the dimensionless parameter n = 2 and the "sign of LIV" {\eta}_+ = 1, to phenomenologically study the effect of quantum gravity in the strong gravitational field. Specifically, we have studied the effect of the LIV-DR induced quantum gravity on the Schwarzschild black hole thermodynamics. The result shows that the effect of the LIV-DR induced quantum gravity speeds up the black hole evaporation, and its corresponding black hole entropy undergoes a leading logarithmic correction to the "reduced Bekenstein-Hawking entropy", and the ill defined situations (i.e. the singularity problem and the critical problem) are naturally bypassed when the LIV-DR effect is present. Also, to put our results in a proper perspective, we have compared with the earlier findings by another quantum gravity candidate, i.e. the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP). Finally, we conclude from the inert remnants at the final stage of the black hole evaporation that, the GUP as a candidate for describing quantum gravity can always do as well as the LIV-DR by adjusting the model-dependent parameters, but in the same model-dependent parameters the LIV-DR acts as a more suitable candidate., Comment: 18 pages, 7 figures

In curved space-time, Hamilton-Jacobi equation is a semi-classical particle's motion equation, which plays an important role in the research of black hole physics. In this paper, starting from Dirac equation describing the spin 1/2 fermion and Rarita-Schwinger equation describing the spin 3/2 fermion respectively, we derive a Hamilton-Jacobi equation of the non-stationary spherically symmetric gravitational field background. Furthermore, the quantum tunneling behavior of a charged spherically symmetric black hole is investigated by using this Hamilton-Jacobi equation. The result shows that the Hamilton-Jacobi equation is helpful for people to understand the thermodynamic properties and the radiation characteristics of a black hole., Comment: 7 pages

In this letter, we show that the dimensionless parameter in the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) can be constrained by the gravitational wave event GW150914, which was discovered by the LIGO Scientific and Virgo Collaborations. Firstly, according to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle (HUP) and the data of gravitational wave event GW150914, we derive the standard energy-momentum dispersion relation and calculate the difference between the propagation speed of gravitons and the speed of light, i.e., $\Delta \upsilon$. Next, using two proposals regarding the GUP, we also generalize our study to the quantum gravity case and obtain the modified speed of gravitons. Finally, based on the modified speed of gravitons and $\Delta \upsilon$, the improved upper bounds on the GUP parameters are obtained. The results show that the upper limits of the GUP parameters $\beta_0$ and $\alpha_0$ are $2.3 \times 10^ {60}$ and $1.8 \times 10^{20}$., Comment: 8 pages, 2 Tables

The Planck length and Planck energy should be taken as invariant scales are in agreement with various theories of quantum gravity. In this scenario, the original general relativity can be changed to the so-called gravity's rainbow which produces significant modifications to the black holes' evolution. In this paper, using two kinds of rainbow functions, we investigate the thermodynamics and the phase transition of Schwarzschild black hole in the context of gravity's rainbow theory. Firstly, with the help of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, we calculate the modified Hawking temperature. Then, based on this modification, we derive the local temperature, free energy and other thermodynamic quantities in an isothermal cavity. Finally, the critical behavior, the thermodynamic stability and phase transition of the rainbow Schwarzschild black hole are analyzed. It turns out that our results are different from the those of Hawking-Page phase transition. In this paper, the modified entropic force law is studied by using a new kind of generalized uncertainty principle which contains a minimal length, a minimal momentum and a maximal momentum. Firstly, the quantum corrections to the thermodynamics of a black hole is investigated. Then, according to Verlinde's theory, the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) corrected entropic force is obtained. The result shows that the GUP corrected entropic force is related not only to the properties of the black holes, but also to the Planck length and the dimensionless constants $\alpha _{\rm{0}}$ and $\beta _{\rm{0}}$. We investigate the Hawking radiation of 3+1 and 4+1 dimensional black holes in the $z = 4$ Horava-Lifshitz gravity with fermion tunnelling. It turns out that the Hawking temperatures are recovered and are in consistence with those obtained by calculating surface gravity of the black holes. Hawking radiation from black hole horizon can be viewed as a quantum tunnelling process, and fermions via tunnelling can successfully recover Hawking temperature. In this paper, considering the tunnelling particles with spin 1/2 (namely, Dirac particles), we further improve Kerner and Man's fermion tunnelling method to study Hawking radiation via tunnelling from rotating black holes in de Sitter spaces, specifically including that from Kerr de Sitter black hole and Kerr-Newman de Sitter black hole. Kerner and Mann's recent work shows that, for an uncharged and non-rotating black hole, its Hawking temperature can be exactly derived by fermions tunnelling from its horizons. In this paper, our main work is to improve the analysis to deal with charged fermion tunnelling from the general dilatonic black holes, specifically including the charged, spherically symmetric dilatonic black hole, the rotating Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton-Axion (EMDA) black hole and the rotating Kaluza-Klein (KK) black hole.
