En el contexto de los procesos de participación ciudadana, en Colombia y específicamente en la ciudad de Bogotá, se hace relevante la investigación sobre el impacto generado por las estrategias de marketing, utilizadas por los candidatos en comicios electorales, dentro del ámbito de la representación política de concejales, alcaldes, gobernadores, senadores y presidente, entre otros y observar el comportamiento del “consumidor electoral”, o votante, frente a las diversas actividades que se realizan desde el punto de vista estratégico, en las campañas políticas rumbo a las elecciones, especialmente de interés para esta proyecto, de la alcaldía de Bogotá en el presente año. Sin embargo, comprender este impacto, conlleva al análisis del contexto político de la ciudad y los potenciales electores, así como las estrategias utilizadas por los distintos candidatos y los patrones del consumidor electoral y los factores claves que determinarían su decisión de voto. Para efectos metodológicos, se considera la aplicación de instrumentos como encuestas sobre una muestra selectiva, que permita la obtención de resultados confiables con el ánimo de presentar conclusiones certezas y claras acerca del tema de estudio. In the context of public participation processes in Colombia and specifically in the city of Bogota, it becomes relevant research on the impact generated by the marketing strategies used by candidates in electoral elections, within the scope of political representation councilors, mayors, governors, senators and president, among others, and observe the behavior of "electoral consumer" or voter, against the various activities carried out from a strategic point of view, in political campaigns towards the elections, especially of interest for this project, the mayor of Bogota this year. However, understanding this impact, it involves the analysis of the political context of the city and potential voters, as well as the strategies used by the various candidates and electoral consumer patterns and the key factors that determine their voting decision. For methodological purposes, it is considered the application of tools such as surveys on a selective sample, which allows to obtain reliable results with the aim to present certainties and clear on the subject of study findings. A single polymerase chain reaction (PCR) reaction targeting the spliced-leader intergenic region of Trypanosoma cruzi I was standardised by amplifying a 231 bp fragment in domestic (TcIDOM) strains or clones and 450 and 550 bp fragments in sylvatic strains or clones. This reaction was validated using 44 blind coded samples and 184 non-coded T. cruzi I clones isolated from sylvatic triatomines and the correspondence between the amplified fragments and their domestic or sylvatic origin was determined. Six of the nine strains isolated from acute cases suspected of oral infection had the sylvatic T. cruzi I profile. These results confirmed that the sylvatic T. cruzi I genotype is linked to cases of oral Chagas disease in Colombia. We therefore propose the use of this novel PCR reaction in strains or clones previously characterised as T. cruzi I to distinguish TcIDOMfrom sylvatic genotypes in studies of transmission dynamics, including the verification of population selection within hosts or detection of the frequency of mixed infections by both T. cruzi I genotypes in Colombia.
