Energy consumption in human society has increased as more energy supplies are required to meet the needs of the world’s growing population. However, there is a major concern about fulfilling energy demand while reducing reliance on fossil fuels. Bamboo-based biomass has great potential for use as a raw material for the production of biofuels and bioenergy. Bamboo possesses excellent fuel qualities that can be converted into solid, liquid, and gaseous biofuels. Hence, the cultivation and harvesting operations must be performed efficiently to ensure that the availability of this biomass is sufficient to meet the demand for biofuel production. Several studies have shown that the micropropagation technique has increased bamboo production and that proper bamboo plantation management can benefit both the environment and society. Nevertheless, there are several challenges in bamboo cultivation and biofuel production, such as environmental impact from land management and economic risk from the industrial supply chain. Bamboo-producing countries, including Malaysia, have initiated several policies to propose strategies for sustaining the bamboo industry.

Rotating packed bed (RPB) belongs to a HIGee technology, a process intensification device that can provide better mass transfer rate due to the generation of hyper-gravity under the influence of centrifugal force. While determining the efficiency of the RPB, the MRT of the liquid plays a vital role. The MRT of the RPB is very small and can be tuned in accordance with the mass transfer rate of the solvent to achieve the required outlet concentration of the absorbed gas. There exist two methods, i.e., empirical correlation and the residence time distribution (RTD) method. The applicability of both methods still needs to be investigated for better prediction of MRT in RPB. The current study compares the MRT of the two of the most widely employed techniques, i.e., MRT by empirical correlation and the RTD approach using the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The difference between the MRT by both methods lies between 30-38%. The results show that the RTD better predicts the MRT in the RPB as compared to the Burns empirical correlation.

The Dwarf Mongoose Optimization Algorithm (DMO) is inspired by the behaviour of Dwarf Mongoose which can strike the ideal balance throughout research between exploration and exploitation. In this article, we combine algorithms of the Dwarf Mongoose Optimization Algorithm and the Nelder-Mead Algorithm (DMONM). In addition, the statistically evaluated functions is utilized by calculating the average and the standard deviation values that are used to validate the suggested algorithm's performance. The experimental results are on high-efficiency optimization functions with various dimensions. The hybrid algorithm produces good, encouraging, and better outcomes than the original algorithms. The results show that the proposed algorithm could enhance the effects of DMO when it used to solve the optimization issues of the multi-objective reliability system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: To make aware that the healthcare professionals should diagnose GUTB as early as possible to avoid the grave side effects of untreated cases as it can lead to the gross structural abnormalities in the Genito urinary system. Study Design: Single Center Observational study. Setting: Tertiary Care Medicine Unit in Baluchistan, in BMCH Teaching Hospital. Period: 1st January 2012 to 31st Dec 2022. Methods: Total 118 patients were enrolled in the research and patients were taken a detailed history, they went through physical examination, then they went they underwent through different diagnostic modalities as per the availability in indications. The diagnosed cases were treated and the follow up was done the mean duration for the follow up was around two years. Results: All individuals received interventions primarily involving anti-tuberculosis medications. Three patients had bilateral fallopian tubes obstruction who went under laparoscopy and later on 1 couple opted for IVF, for infertility. Anti-TB drug therapy resulted in severe adverse reactions in 8 individuals. Among them, two female patients experienced the formation of a thimble bladder accompanied by incapacitating storage symptoms. Additionally, at the time of diagnosis, 4 patients exhibited impaired renal functions, which, fortunately, remained unaltered following the completion of the prescribed treatment. None of our patients went into ESRD, and no death during study was reported due to GUTB. Conclusion: It was concluded in our study that Genito urinary tuberculosis being the second commonest type of extrapulmonary tuberculosis is also common in Baluchistan and it needs to be treated and diagnosed and treated as soon as possible, we also suggest that if the expert diagnostic modalities for the diagnosis of GUTB are not available even the clinical suspicion can be used to diagnose the case and start the treatment. In this paper we shall introduce two equivalent techniques in order to evaluate reliability analysis of electrical aircrafts systems (EAS): (i) graph theory technique, and (ii) simplifying diffeomorphism technique. Geometric modeling of reliability models is based on algebraic hypersurfaces, whose intrinsic properties are able to select those models which are relevant for applications. The basic idea is to cover the reliability hypersurfaces by exponentially decay curves. Most of the calculations made in this paper have used Maple and Matlab software.
