Nonreciprocal photon blockade is of particular interest due to its potential applications in chiral quantum technologies and topological photonics. In the regular cases, nonreciprocal transmission (classical nonreciprocity) and nonreciprocal photon blockade (quantum nonreciprocity) often appear simultaneously. Nevertheless, how to achieve purely quantum nonreciprocity (no classical nonreciprocity) remains largely unexplored. Here, we propose a spatially separated transmission scheme, that the photons transport in different directions take different paths, in an optical system consisting of two spinning cavities coupled indirectly by two common drop-filter waveguides. Based on the spatially separated transmission scheme, we demonstrate a purely quantum nonreciprocity (nonreciprocal photon blockade) by considering the Kerr nonlinear interaction in one of the paths. Interestingly, we find that the nonreciprocal photon blockade is enhanced nonreciprocally, i.e., the nonreciprocal photon blockade is enhanced when the photons transport in one direction but suppressed in the reverse direction. We identify that the nonreciprocal enhancement of nonreciprocal photon blockade is induced by the destructive or constructive interference between two paths for two photons passing through the whole system. Photon blockade in weak nonlinear regime is an exciting and promising subject that has been extensively studied in the steady state. However, how to achieve dynamic blockade in a single bosonic mode with weak nonlinearity using only pulsed driving field remains unexplored. Here, we propose to optimize the parameters of the pulsed driving field to achieve dynamic blockade in a single bosonic mode with weak nonlinearity via the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. We demonstrate that both Gaussian and rectangular pulses can be used to generate dynamic photon blockade in a single bosonic mode with weak nonlinearity. Based on the Fourier series expansions of the pulsed driving field, we identify that there are many paths for two-photon excitation in the bosonic mode, even only driven by pulsed field, and the dynamic blockade in weak nonlinear regime is induced by the destructive interference between them. Our work not only highlights the effectiveness of PSO algorithm in optimizing dynamical blockade, but also opens a way to optimize the parameters for other quantum effects, such as quantum entanglement and quantum squeezing., Comment: 8 pages, 6 figures

In this paper, we present a novel deep image clustering approach termed PICI, which enforces the partial information discrimination and the cross-level interaction in a joint learning framework. In particular, we leverage a Transformer encoder as the backbone, through which the masked image modeling with two paralleled augmented views is formulated. After deriving the class tokens from the masked images by the Transformer encoder, three partial information learning modules are further incorporated, including the PISD module for training the auto-encoder via masked image reconstruction, the PICD module for employing two levels of contrastive learning, and the CLI module for mutual interaction between the instance-level and cluster-level subspaces. Extensive experiments have been conducted on six real-world image datasets, which demononstrate the superior clustering performance of the proposed PICI approach over the state-of-the-art deep clustering approaches. As the demand of astronomical observation rising, the telescope systems are becoming more and more complex. Thus, the observatory control software needs to be more intelligent, they have to control each instrument inside the observatory, finish the observation tasks autonomously, and report the information to users if needed. We developed a distributed autonomous observatory control framework named Remote Autonomous Control System 2nd, RACS2 to meet these requirements. The RACS2 framework uses decentralized distributed architecture, instrument control software and system service such as observation control service are implemented as different components. The communication between components is implemented based on a high-performance serialization library and a light-weighted messaging library.The interfaces towards python and Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System (EPICS) are implemented, so the RACS2 framework can communicate with EPICS based device control software and python-based software. Several system components including log, executor, scheduler and other modules are developed to help observation. Observation tasks can be programmed with python language, and the plans are scheduled by the scheduler component to achieve autonomous observation.A set of web service is implemented based on the FastAPI framework, with which user can control and manage the framework remotely.Based on the RACS2 framework, we have implemented the DATs telescope's observation system and the space object observation system.We performed remote autonomous observation and received many data with these systems., Comment: 22 pages, 16 figures

Multi-view subspace clustering aims to discover the hidden subspace structures from multiple views for robust clustering, and has been attracting considerable attention in recent years. Despite significant progress, most of the previous multi-view subspace clustering algorithms are still faced with two limitations. First, they usually focus on the consistency (or commonness) of multiple views, yet often lack the ability to capture the cross-view inconsistencies in subspace representations. Second, many of them overlook the local structures of multiple views and cannot jointly leverage multiple local structures to enhance the subspace representation learning. To address these two limitations, in this paper, we propose a jointly smoothed multi-view subspace clustering (JSMC) approach. Specifically, we simultaneously incorporate the cross-view commonness and inconsistencies into the subspace representation learning. The view-consensus grouping effect is presented to jointly exploit the local structures of multiple views to regularize the view-commonness representation, which is further associated with the low-rank constraint via the nuclear norm to strengthen its cluster structure. Thus the cross-view commonness and inconsistencies, the view-consensus grouping effect, and the low-rank representation are seamlessly incorporated into a unified objective function, upon which an alternating optimization algorithm is performed to achieve a robust subspace representation for clustering. Experimental results on a variety of real-world multi-view datasets confirm the superiority of our approach. MARST (Multi-channel Antarctic Solar Telescope) aims to observe the Sun in multiple wavebands in Antarctica and will be China's first solar telescope in Antarctica. The telescope has two tubes, corresponding to Photosphere observation which uses 11 filters and Chromosphere observation in H{\alpha} waveband. The two tubes need to be coordinated to observe at the same time. The telescope will observe the Sun for a long time, so a self-guiding module is needed to improve sun tracking. Besides, performing solar specific flat-field exposure is necessary for analyzing. EPICS is introduced to control each hardware and an autonomous observation system based on RTS2 is designed under such demands. EPICS application modules are implemented for each device: telescope mount & focuser, filter wheel, H{\alpha} filter, dome with webcams, Andor CCD and PI CCD. We also integrate EPICS modules into RTS2 framework with an XML format configuration. To control these applications autonomously we have developed a RTS2 executor module where two plan classes are instantiated to control two sets of filters and CCDs, and to ensure only one could control the mount at the same time. Different types of observation plans are designed to describe different series of processes with different priorities. To improve sun tracking, we calculate the centroid of each image to get the offset, then apply the correction to the telescope during observation process. For frontend users, a GUI based on PyQt5 and QML is implemented and connects to rts2-httpd and rts2-proxy modules so that users can control devices, check images and get logs.

The Near-infrared Sky Brightness Monitor (NIRBM) aims to measure the middle infrared sky background in Antarctica. The NIRBM mainly consists of an InGaAs detector, a chopper, a reflector, a cooler and a black body. The reflector can rotate to scan the sky with a field of view ranging from 0{\deg} to 180{\deg}. Electromechanical control and weak signal readout functions are accomplished by the same circuit, whose core chip is a STM32F407VG microcontroller. Considering the environment is harsh for humans in Antarctica, a multi-level remote control software system is designed and implemented. A set of EPICS IOCs are developed to control each hardware module independently via serial port communication with the STM32 microcontroller. The tornado web framework and PyEpics are introduced as a combination where PyEpics is used to monitor or change the EPICS Process Variables, functioning as a client for the EPICS framework. Tornado is responsible for the specific operation process of inter-device collaboration, and expose a set of interfaces to users to make calls. Considering the high delay and low bandwidth of the network environment, the tornado back-end is designed as a master-and-agent architecture to improve domestic user experience. The master node is deployed in Antarctic while multiple agent nodes can be deployed domestic. The master and agent nodes communicate with each other through the WebSocket protocol to exchange latest information so that bandwidth is saved. The GUI is implemented in the form of single-page application based on the Vue framework which communicates with tornado through WebSocket and AJAX requests. In order to achieve the driver function for several types of scientific CCD detector from E2V Co Ltd, and decreasing the size of electronics of CCD detector system, an Application-specified Integrated Circuit (ASIC) was designed. It provides multi-channel clocks and bias voltage for CCD driver. In the ASIC, the clock drivers are made of a clock switch circuit and high voltage amplifier. Two 8-bit current-steering DACs are used to adjust the driver capability and high-level voltage of clocks. The bias drivers are generated by 8-bit current-steering DACs and off-chip operation amplifiers. The Global Foundry 180 nm BCDlite technology is selected to implement this design. The first version of design has been finished and the tests have been done.

CCD was born in Bell Laboratories in 1969 and has been widely used in various fields. Its ultra-low noise and high quantum efficiency make it work well in particle physics, high energy physics, nuclear physics and astrophysics. Nowadays, more and more CCD cameras have been developed for medical diagnosis, scientific experiments, aerospace, military exploration and other fields. For the wide range of CCD cameras, a Non-vacuum-cooling compact (NVCC) scientific CCD camera has been developed, including FPGA-based low noise clock and bias driver circuit, data acquisition circuit, STM32-based temperature control design. At the same time, the readout noise of the imaging system is studied emphatically. The scheme to generate the CCD clock and the bias driving circuit through ultralow noise LDOs is proposed. The camera was tested in a variety of environments, and the test results show that the system can run at a maximum rate of 5M pixels/s and readout noise is as low as 9.29e^- when the CCD readout speed is 500K pixels/s. In this paper, we introduce a general scientific CCD simulation and test system which can meet the test requirements of different types of CCD chips from E2V company, such as measuring different signals output from modules of a CCD controller including power supply, fan, temperature control module, crystal oscillator, shutter and clock-bias generator. Furthermore, the video signal of the CCD detector can be simulated and superimposed with random noise to verify the performance of the video sampling circuit of the CCD controller. For an unattended telescopes in Antarctic, the remote operation, autonomous observation and control are essential. An EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System) and RTS2(Remote Telescope System, 2nd Version) based autonomous observation and control system with remoted operation is introduced in this paper. EPICS is a set of Open Source software tools, libraries and applications developed collaboratively and used worldwide to create distributed soft real-time control systems for scientific instruments while RTS2 is an open source environment for control of a fully autonomous observatory. Using the advantage of EPICS and RTS2 respectively, a combined integrated software framework for autonomous observation and control is established that use RTS2 to fulfill the function of astronomical observation and use EPICS to fulfill the device control of telescope. A command and status interface for EPICS and RTS2 is designed to make the EPICS IOC (Input/Output Controller) components integrate to RTS2 directly. For the specification and requirement of control system of telescope in Antarctic, core components named Executor and Auto-focus for autonomous observation is designed and implemented with remote operation user interface based on Browser-Server mode. The whole system including the telescope is tested in Lijiang Observatory in Yunnan Province for practical observation to complete the autonomous observation and control, including telescope control, camera control, dome control, weather information acquisition with the local and remote operation., Comment: 20 pages,15 figures
