To improve the poor thermal stability and electrolyte wettability of polyolefin-based separators, a high performance zeolite-based separator was prepared by a sintering process using zeolite particles, silica sol and ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid. The results show that compared with PE separator, the as-prepared zeolite separator exhibits well-developed microstructure superior thermal resistance and excellent liquid electrolyte wettability; the present separator has almost no thermal shrinkage after the heat treatment at 160℃ for 0.5h, while PE separator shows 100% thermal shrinkage under the same condition. Moreover, the electrolyte contact angle of zeolite separator is about 0±, while that of PE separator reaches 35°. Based on the above advantages, the zeolite separator shows better electrochemical performances, such as the discharge C-rate capability and cycling performance, as compared to the commercialized PE separator.

The influence of different silica fume content on the slump, expansion, compressive strength and flexural strength of high-performance concrete was studied. The results show that with the increase of silica fume content, the slump, expansion, compressive strength, and flexural strength of high-performance concrete show a trend of increasing first and then decreasing. The optimal silica fume content of HPC(Highperformance concrete) is 3% to 6%.

A new MOF {(Me2NH2)[Co3(OH)2(TCPP)2(bpy)](DMF)15}n (1) was synthesized via the reaction of 4,4′-bipyridine and tetracarboxylic 2,3,5,6-tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl)pyrazine (H4TCPP) binary ligands with Co(NO3)2 · 6H2O under the solvothermal conditions. Gas adsorption studies reveal that the mixtures of C2H2/CH4 and C2H2/CO2 could be selectively separated by the obtained activated 1a (solvent-free 1). The relative expression of tnf-α, nf-κb in the glomerular cells was measured by RT-PCR. The content of the IL-1β and IL-18 released by glomerular cells was determined by ELISA assay. A novel Co(II)-containing metal–organic framework [Co3(OH)2(H2TCPP)2](DMF)3 (1) based on a linear trinuclear Co(II) cluster-based unit has been successfully prepared by using a nanosized tetracarboxylate ligand 2,3,5,6-tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl)pyrazine (H4TCPP) as the organic building block under the solvothermal reaction. Gas adsorption studies reveal that the mixtures of C2H2/CH4 and C2H2/CO2 could be selectively separated by the obtained resulting solvent free 1 (denoted as 1a hereafter). To deep evaluate the protective function of complex for acute glomerulonephritis (AGN) disease in vitro, the following experiments were conducted. (a) Real time Reverse transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) was carried out to determine the relative expression of Nuclear factor kappa beta (nf-κb) and Tumor Necrosis Factor-α (tnf-α) in the glomerulus cells after bacterial infection along with complex 1 treatment. (b) The enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was conducted to determine the IL-1β and IL-6 released by glomerular cells after complex 1 treatment. To explore the antitumour mechanism of 20(S)-protopanaxadiol (PPD) while maintaining its uncovered pharmacological active site 3-hydroxyl, 28-hydroxy protopanaxadiol (17), a small molecular probe template of PPD was first designed and synthesised based on the Baldwin’s reaction. Thus, 28-hydroxyl of17was built successfully as a derivatized site of molecular probe’s functional and report groups. The important intermediates and final product were confirmed by ESI-MS and nuclear magnetic resonance spectra with good yield. These studies provided a valuable basis for probe research of PPD. Organic upconversion devices (UCDs) are a cutting-edge technology and hot topic because of their advantages of low cost and convenience in the important applications of near-infrared (NIR) detection and imaging. However, to realize utilization of triplet excitons (T 1 ), previous UCDs have the drawback of heavily relying on toxic and costly heavy-metal-doped emitters. More importantly, due to poor performance of the detecting unit and/or emitting unit, improving their detectivity ( D *) and photon-to-photon conversion efficiency ( η p-p ) is still a challenge for real applications. Here, we report a high-performance dual-functional purely organic UCD that has an outstanding D * approaching 10 13 Jones and a high η p-p of 20.1% in the NIR region, which are some of the highest values among those reported for UCDs. The high performance is credited to the excellent D * of the detecting unit, exceeding 10 14 Jones, and is also attributed to efficient T 1 utilization via a dual reverse intersystem crossing channel and high optical out coupling achieved via a high horizontal dipole ratio in the emitting unit. The high D * and η p-p enable the UCD to detect 850 nm light at as little as 0.29 μW cm -2 and with a high display contrast of over 70 000 : 1, significantly improving the potential of practical applications of UCDs in NIR detection and imaging. Furthermore, a fast rise time and fall time of 8.9 and 14.8 μs are also achieved. Benefiting from the high performance, consequent applications of low-power pulse-state monitoring and fine-structure bio-imaging are successfully realized with high quality results by using our organic UCDs. These results demonstrate that our design not only eliminates dependence of UCDs on heavy-metal emitters, but also takes their performance and applications to a high level.
