Industrialized tests were carried out to produce 20MnTiB cold heading steel with different rare earth （Ce） contents， the effect of Ce on the evolution of inclusions during the production of 20MnTiB cold heading steel based on Ca treatment was investigated through experimental observations and thermodynamic calculations. The results show that after Ce treatment， the large-size spheroidal Al2O3-MgO-CaO-CaS inclusions were metamorphosed and decomposed into about 1 μm spheroidal CeAlO3-MgO-CaO -CaS inclusions， and irregular inclusions of this type around 2 μm were metamorphosed and sphericalized. After hot rolling， the inclusions in the 0Ce specimen wire rod elongated along the rolling direction， the inclusions were larger in size and more irregular in shape， in addition， long strips of MnS inclusions were found. However， in the 27Ce specimen， the S element content was reduced by 40% after Ce treatment， which inhibited the formation of MnS inclusions during the solidification process， and the small-sized， spherical-like characteristics of the inclusions in the wire rods did not change after rolling. The thermodynamic calculations are in agreement with the experimental results. After Ce treatment， the metamorphic decomposition of large-sized and irregular inclusions， the metamorphic spheroidization of small-sized and irregular inclusions， and the disappearance of MnS inclusions avoided the stress concentration caused by the irregular morphology of inclusions in the process of cold heading， which is conducive to the enhancement of the cold heading performance of the test steel and the reduction of the possibility of cold heading cracking. The results can provide technical and theoretical support for the further development of new rare earth microalloyed cold heading steels.

ObjectiveTo investigate the incidence of hypertension and its influencing factors in community-dwellers at risk for high blood pressure in Minhang District of Shanghai， and to provide scientific evidence for the community management.MethodsA retrospective cohort study was conducted using the electronic health records of community-dwellers at risk for high blood pressure in Minhang District， Shanghai from January 1， 2011 to December 31， 2017. The study end-point was the occurrence of hypertension，and the followup was finished in December 2021. A total of 17 265 community-dwellers at risk for high blood pressure were enrolled in our study. Log-rank test and Cox regression analysis were used to determine the influencing factors.ResultsAfter 6.04 years of follow-up， the hypertension incidence among community-dwellers at risk for high blood pressure in Minhang District of Shanghai was 25.5%. Family history of hypertension （HR=1.250， 95%CI： 1.168‒1.338）， family history of stroke （HR=1.295， 95%CI： 1.080‒1.553）， history of diabetes （HR=1.203， 95%CI： 1.076‒1.345）， daily smoking （HR=1.187， 95%CI： 1.087‒1.296）， overweight （HR=1.393， 95%CI：1.308‒1.484）， obesity（HR=1.903， 95%CI： 1.719‒2.106）， high values of normal blood pressure （HR=1.275， 95%CI： 1.195‒1.359） and advanced age （HR=1.033， 95%CI： 1.030‒1.036） were all risk factors. Emaciation （HR=0.649， 95%CI： 0.500‒0.840） was a protective factors.ConclusionBlood pressure monitoring should be strengthened for people elderly， with family history of hypertension， family history of stroke， diabetes or high values of normal blood pressure， so as to diagnose hypertension early. Timely intervention measures should be taken for community-dwellers with unhealthy lifestyles such as smoking， overweight and obesity.

Multifunctional THz meta-devices are the demand of modern communication systems and have received a lot of attention recently. Most studies have concentrated on either linear-to-linear or linear-to-circular polarization conversion. However, to simultaneously achieve both in a wide bandwidth with high conversion efficiency remains a key factor. This paper introduces a reflective-type metasurface that operates in the THz frequency range and is capable of wideband dual-polarization conversion in multi-band. The basic component of the suggested converter consists of a three-quarter circular structure with an embedded X-shape. It has the ability to convert linearly polarized (LP) electromagnetic (EM) waves into circularly polarized (CP) waves with axial ratio less than 3 dB at frequencies of 1.83–2.93 THz (RHCP), 3.56–3.68 THz (LHCP), and 3.90–3.93 THz (LHCP), with fractional bandwidth (FBW) of 46.21 %, 3.31 %, and 0.76 %, respectively. The reflected waves exhibit a phase difference of approximately ±90° and ±270° between their cross- and co-coefficients. Besides, the converter is capable of achieving cross-polarization conversion (CPC) with a polarization conversion efficiency (PCE) that exceeds 97 % within the frequency ranges of 3.18–3.42 THz and 3.96–3.97 THz. The fractional bandwidth (FBW) for these ranges is 7.27 % and 0.25 % respectively. Furthermore, the investigation of surface current distribution patterns at different frequencies is conducted to analyze the conversion phenomena. The proposed polarizer has applications in electromagnetic measuring, THz sensing, antennas, imaging, and stealth technologies.

Objective To investigate the effect of isorhamnetin on the apoptosis of retinal cells in diabetic retinopathy (DR) rats. Methods The rats were divided into control group, DR model group, low and high dose isorhamnetin groups (ISO-L group, ISO-H group, 50, 150 mg/kg isorhamnetin orally, respectively) and positive drug group (150 mg/kg calcium dobesilate orally). The level of serum inflammatory factors was measured by ELISA; HE staining and TUNEL staining were performed to observe the pathological changes and cell apoptosis of retina. Western blot method was performed to detect protein expression of VEGF, Bax, caspase-3 and phosphorylation levels of p38 MAPK, NF-κB p65 in retinal tissue. Results Compared with the control group, the retina of the model group was arranged disorderly, the boundary was unclear, the inner and outer nuclear layers were edema, the number of cells was reduced, and the thickness of the retina became thinner, and the retinal cell apoptosis rate, serum TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6 levels, VEGF, Bax, caspase-3 protein expression and p38 MAPK, NF-κB p65 phosphorylation were significantly increased (P＜0.05); Compared with the model group, the retinal tissue layers of the ISO-L, ISO-H, and positive drug groups had clearer boundaries, slightly looser structures, and increased retinal thickness, and the retinal cell apoptosis rate, serum TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6 levels, VEGF, Bax, caspase-3 protein expression, and p38 MAPK, NF-κB p65 phosphorylation levels were significantly reduced (P＜0.05). Conclusions Isorhamnetin may ameliorate retinal injury and cell apoptosis in DR rats by inhibiting the MAPK/NF-κB signaling pathway.

Two homologous branched dodecaynes 1,3,5-{(4-tBu)[2,3-(RC[rho]C)2]Ph(C[rho]C-C[rho]C)}3Ph (2a, R = H; 2b, R = Ph) were synthesized and characterized in this work. According to steady-state spectroscopy, their electronic absorption and luminescent behaviors were investigated and compared. Simultaneously, as a typical structure of this class of dodecaynes, the molecular configuration of dodecayne 2a was depicted by density functional theory (DFT) simulation and the maximal absorption were supported by the subsequent TD-DFT calculations. In addition, the electrochemiluminescence (ECL) emission was also investigated. The experiment results showed that [pi]-extended dodecayne 2b with more distorted trigonal-planar possessed strong and stable ECL emission, indicating that it has potential application in ECL and luminescence fields. A l'aide des donnees de spectroscopie a l'etat d'equilibre, nous avons etudie et compare leur comportement en absorption electronique et en luminescence. Parallelement, nous avons modelise la structure typique de cette classe, le dodeca-yne 2a, par simulation DFT pour en representer la configuration moleculaire, et nous avons ensuite deduit l'absorption maximale par calculs TD DFT, lesquels ont corrobore la valeur experimentale. De plus, nous avons etudie l'emission d'electrochimiluminescence (ECL). The analysis of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) is important for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Microfluidics has been employed for CTC analysis due to its scaling advantages and high performance. However, pre-analytical methods for CTC sample preparation are often combined with microfluidic platforms because a large sample volume is required to detect extremely rare CTCs. Among pre-analytical methods, Ficoll-Paque[TM], OncoQuick[TM], and RosetteSep[TM] are commonly used to separate cells of interest. To compare their performance, we spiked L3.6pl pancreatic cancer cells into healthy blood samples and then employed each technique to prepare blood samples, followed by using a microfluidic platform to capture and detect L3.6pl cells. We found these three methods have similar performance, though the slight edge of RosetteSep[TM] over Ficoll-Paque[TM] is statistically significant. We also studied the effects of the tumor cell concentrations on the performance of the frequently used Ficoll-Paque[TM] method. Furthermore, we examined the repeatability and variability of each pre-analytical technique and the microfluidics-enabled detection. This study will provide researchers and clinicians with comparative data that can influence the choice of sample preparation method, help estimate Cl'C loss in each pre-analytical method, and correlate the results of clinical studies that employ different techniques. L'analyse des cellules tumorales circulantes (CTC) est une pierre angulaire du diagnostic et du pronostic du cancer. On recourt a la microfluidique pour l'analyse des CTC en raison des avantages qu'elle offre pour la mise a l'echelle et de sa grande performance. Par ailleurs, les methodes preanalytiques pour la preparation d'echantillons de CTC font souvent appel a des plateformes microfluidiques, car il faut un grand volume d'echantillon pour detecter des CTC extremement rares. Parmi les methodes preanalytiques couramment utilisees pour separer les cellules sanguines d'interet, notons Ficoll-[Paque.sup.MC], [OncoQuick.sup.MC] et [RosetteSep.sup.MC]. Afin de comparer les performances de ces methodes, nous avons additionne de cellules de cancer du pancreas L3,6pl des echantillons de sang sains, puis nous avons utilise les trois methodes pour preparer les echantillons sanguins, que nous avons ensuite soumis a une plateforme microfluidique pour isoler et detecter les cellules L3,6pl. Nos resultats montrent que les performances de ces trois methodes sont similaires, bien que le leger avantage de [RosetteSep.sup.MC] par rapport a Ficoll-[Paque.sup.MC] soit statistiquement significatif. Nous avons egalement etudie les effets des concentrations de cellules tumorales sur la performance de la methode Ficoll-[Paque.sup.MC], qui est la plus frequemment utilisee. En outre, nous avons examine la repetabilite et la variability de chaque methode preanalytique et les caracteristiques de detection que permet d'obtenir la microfluidique. ObjectiveTo determine the complications of hypertension among local residents in Minhang district of Shanghai， and provide scientific evidence for key preventive intervention.MethodsWe retrieved the data from the electronic health records， in which hypertensive patients were included for community-based management， in Minhang district of Shanghai from January 1st， 2014 to December 31st， 2018. A total of 38 599 hypertensive patients who had not had hypertension related clinical symptom when included in the electronic health records were enrolled in our study. Chi-square test and Cochran-Mantel-Haenszel test were used to determine the complications of hypertension.ResultsThe incidence proportion of complications was 10.77%， of which cerebrovascular damage was the highest （7.44%）， followed by cardiac damage （3.55%） and peripheral vascular damage （0.81%）. The incidence proportions in patients aged 18‒59， 60‒69， 70 and above were 5.53%， 9.61% and 16.19%， respectively.
