The lesion segmentation on endoscopic images is challenging due to its complex and ambiguous features. Fully-supervised deep learning segmentation methods can receive good performance based on entirely pixel-level labeled dataset but greatly increase experts' labeling burden. Semi-supervised and weakly supervised methods can ease labeling burden, but heavily strengthen the learning difficulty. To alleviate this difficulty, weakly semi-supervised segmentation adopts a new annotation protocol of adding a large number of point annotation samples into a few pixel-level annotation samples. However, existing methods only mine points' limited information while ignoring reliable prior surrounding the point annotations. In this paper, we propose a weakly semi-supervised method called Point-Neighborhood Learning (PNL) framework. To mine the prior of the pixels surrounding the annotated point, we transform a single-point annotation into a circular area named a point-neighborhood. We propose point-neighborhood supervision loss and pseudo-label scoring mechanism to enhance training supervision. Point-neighborhoods are also used to augment the data diversity. Our method greatly improves performance without changing the structure of segmentation network. Comprehensive experiments show the superiority of our method over the other existing methods, demonstrating its effectiveness in point-annotated medical images. High-frequency and accurate state estimation is crucial for biped robots. This paper presents a tightly-coupled LiDAR-Inertial-Kinematic Odometry (LIKO) for biped robot state estimation based on an iterated extended Kalman filter. Beyond state estimation, the foot contact position is also modeled and estimated. This allows for both position and velocity updates from kinematic measurement. Additionally, the use of kinematic measurement results in an increased output state frequency of about 1kHz. This ensures temporal continuity of the estimated state and makes it practical for control purposes of biped robots. We also announce a biped robot dataset consisting of LiDAR, inertial measurement unit (IMU), joint encoders, force/torque (F/T) sensors, and motion capture ground truth to evaluate the proposed method. The dataset is collected during robot locomotion, and our approach reached the best quantitative result among other LIO-based methods and biped robot state estimation algorithms. Since Gartner coined the term, Hybrid Transactional and Analytical Processing (HTAP), numerous HTAP databases have been proposed to combine transactions with analytics in order to enable real-time data analytics for various data-intensive applications. HTAP databases typically process the mixed workloads of transactions and analytical queries in a unified system by leveraging both a row store and a column store. As there are different storage architectures and processing techniques to satisfy various requirements of diverse applications, it is critical to summarize the pros and cons of these key techniques. This paper offers a comprehensive survey of HTAP databases. We mainly classify state-of-the-art HTAP databases according to four storage architectures: (a) Primary Row Store and In-Memory Column Store; (b) Distributed Row Store and Column Store Replica; (c) Primary Row Store and Distributed In-Memory Column Store; and (d) Primary Column Store and Delta Row Store. We then review the key techniques in HTAP databases, including hybrid workload processing, data organization, data synchronization, query optimization, and resource scheduling. Manifold regularization model is a semi-supervised learning model that leverages the geometric structure of a dataset, comprising a small number of labeled samples and a large number of unlabeled samples, to generate classifiers. However, the original manifold norm limits the performance of models to local regions. To address this limitation, this paper proposes an approach to improve manifold regularization based on a label propagation model. We initially enhance the probability transition matrix of the diffusion map algorithm, which can be used to estimate the Neumann heat kernel, enabling it to accurately depict the label propagation process on the manifold. Using this matrix, we establish a label propagation function on the dataset to describe the distribution of labels at different time steps. Subsequently, we extend the label propagation function to the entire data manifold. We prove that the extended label propagation function converges to a stable distribution after a sufficiently long time and can be considered as a classifier. Battery health assessment and recuperation play a crucial role in the utilization of second-life Li-ion batteries. However, due to ambiguous aging mechanisms and lack of correlations between the recovery effects and operational states, it is challenging to accurately estimate battery health and devise a clear strategy for cell rejuvenation. This paper presents aging and reconditioning experiments of 62 commercial high-energy type lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, which supplement existing datasets of high-power LFP cells. The relatively large-scale data allow us to use machine learning models to predict cycle life and identify important indicators of recoverable capacity. Considering cell-to-cell inconsistencies, an average test error of $16.84\% \pm 1.87\%$ (mean absolute percentage error) for cycle life prediction is achieved by gradient boosting regressor given information from the first 80 cycles. In addition, it is found that some of the recoverable lost capacity is attributed to the lateral lithium non-uniformity within the electrodes. An equivalent circuit model is built and experimentally validated to demonstrate how such non-uniformity can be accumulated, and how it can give rise to recoverable capacity loss. We demonstrate a novel method based on the Zeeman splitting of electronic spins to improve the performance for temperature sensing of negatively-charged nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in multiple-poly diamond. The theoretical model for selection principle of resonance peaks corresponding to a single NV axis for determining the temperature dependence is clarified. The spectral linewidth is effectively narrowed and the thermometer is insensitive to magnetic field fluctuations. Repeatability and accuracy of the relationship calibration between the zero-field splitting (ZFS) parameter D and temperature T in the range of 298 K to 323 K is significantly improved, and the results of coefficient dD/dT is 75.33 kHz/K. Finally, this method promotes the average temperature measurement sensitivity (below 10 Hz) of our setup from 0.49 K/Hz1/2 to 0.22 K/Hz1/2.

Diamond samples of defects with negative charged nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers are promising solid state spin sensors suitable for quantum information processing, high sensitive measurements of magnetic, electric and thermal fields in nanoscale. The diamond defect with a NV center is unique for its robust temperature-dependent zero field splitting Dgs of the triplet ground state. This property enables optical readout of electron spin states through manipulation of the ground triplet state using microwave resonance with Dgs from 100 K to about 600 K. Thus, prohibiting Dgs from unwanted external thermal disturbances is crucial for an accurate measurement using diamond NV sensors. Our observation demonstrates the existence of a prominent microwave heating effect on the diamond samples of NV centers. The effect is inevitable to shift Dgs and cause measurement errors. The temperature increment caused by the effect monotonically depends on the power and the duration of microwave irradiation. The effect is obvious with the microwave irradiation in the continuous mode and some pulse sequence modes, but is neglectable for the quantum lock-in XY8-N method.
