In order to improve the competitiveness of wind power in participating in the power market, promote low-carbon operation of the power system, and meet the new requirements for the completeness and flexibility of the production simulation model due to the uncertainty of wind power output,this paper analyzes the electricity cost composition from the perspective of low-carbon economy, and applies the stochastic programming theory to propose a short-term production simulation model of power system containing wind power. Considering the participation of the carbon trading market, this model aims to minimize the expected cost of electricity production in a short-term time scale, and coordinately optimize the day-ahead power output, real-time power regulation, power reserve capacity, wind curtailment, and load shedding. Taking the modified IEEE 39-bus system as an example, this paper quantitatively evaluates the impact of carbon trading mechanism, carbon trading price, and wind power installed capacity on electricity costs and their contributions to carbon emission reduction. The simulation results show that the proposed model can effectively analyze the short-term electricity cost, carbon emissions, and operational risks of the power system containing wind power under the carbon trading environment, thus has a promise application prospect.

Background: The LuoBiTong (LBT) capsule, a novel traditional Chinese medicine formulation, is currently in Phase III clinical trials. Preliminary preclinical and Phase II clinical studies suggest its efficacy and safety in treating rheumatoid arthritis (RA). However, the underlying mechanisms of its action remain to be elucidated.This research aims to explore the effects and mechanisms of LBT in conjunction with a maintenance dose of methotrexate (M-MTX) on RA. Methods: A Collagen-Induced Arthritis (CIA) mouse model was used to evaluate the anti-RA effects of LBT combined with M-MTX. Assessments included foot swelling, arthritis scoring, serum inflammatory factor analysis, and histopathological examination of the foot. These effects were compared with those of high-dose MTX (H-MTX). Network pharmacology was employed to construct a compound-target network for RA, based on drug composition, to predict its potential mechanism of action. Flow cytometry, Western Blot, and immunohistochemical analyses in animal models identified multiple inflammatory pathways targeted by LBT to augment the anti-RA effects of MTX. Results: The study revealed that LBT combined with M-MTX significantly alleviated CIA-induced arthritis without adverse effects. The combination of LBT and M-MTX showed similar or superior efficacy in regulating macrophage polarization, NF-κB, MAPK signaling pathways, and in the suppression of TH-17 expression in proinflammatory cells. These findings suggest that LBT may exert a multi-pathway therapeutic effect in RA treatment. The predicted pharmacological targets and mechanisms align well with this hypothesis. Conclusion: LBT, when combined with MTX, enhances the anti-RA effect by targeting multiple inflammatory pathways, demonstrating significant therapeutic potential. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, the projective synchronization problem of nonautonomous neural networks with time delay and Caputo derivative is researched. First, by introducing time delay and variable coefficient into the known neural network model, the neural network that can more accurately describe the interaction between neurons is given. Second, based on the improved neural network model, two global synchronization schemes are achieved, respectively. Finally, by constructing two novel Lyapunov functions and utilizing the properties of delay fractional-order differential inequalities, the asymptotic stability of the zero equilibrium point of the error system obtained from the master–slave systems is proved by some new developing analysis methods, respectively, and some criteria for global projective synchronization of delayed nonautonomous neural networks with Caputo derivatives are obtained, respectively, under two new synchronous controllers. Summary: Capsaicin is the main pungent compound in red pepper responsible for its dual attributes of culinary utility and bioactive efficacy. This review aims to systematically review the preparation methods, pungency, and bioactivities of capsaicin. Capsaicin can be extracted by maceration, microwave, near‐infrared extraction, supercritical fluid, and ultrasound‐assisted extraction methods. Also, it can be synthesised through chemical, biosynthetic, and in vitro cell methods. Capsaicin can elicit a pungent sensation via activation of TRPV1 receptor. Furthermore, it has been reported to display various bioactivities, such as hypoglycaemic, hypolipidemic, analgesic, anti‐cancer, anti‐inflammatory, and intestinal health‐protecting activities via several signalling pathways. Overall, this review can provide a theoretical reference for understanding the preparation, pungent sensation, and bioactivities of capsaicin. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, the fused graphical lasso (FGL) method is used to estimate multiple precision matrices from multiple populations simultaneously. The lasso penalty in the FGL model is a restraint on sparsity of precision matrices, and a moderate penalty on the two precision matrices from distinct groups restrains the similar structure across multiple groups. In high-dimensional settings, an oracle inequality is provided for FGL estimators, which is necessary to establish the central limit law. We not only focus on point estimation of a precision matrix, but also work on hypothesis testing for a linear combination of the entries of multiple precision matrices. We apply a de-biasing technology, which is used to obtain a new consistent estimator with known distribution for implementing the statistical inference, and extend the statistical inference problem to multiple populations. The corresponding de-biasing FGL estimator and its asymptotic theory are provided. A simulation study and an application of the diffuse large B-cell lymphoma data show that the proposed test works well in high-dimensional situation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
