A new sol-gel method that employs cation exchange from an aqueous metal ion solution with H+ ions of granulated alginic acid was developed for synthesizing high-purity Y2O3 nanoparticles. In this study, the cation exchange kinetics of H+~Y3+ in aqueous solution were analyzed using on-line pH technology and off-line inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) analysis. Pseudo 2nd-order models were utilized to evaluate the parameters of the kinetics, suggesting that the concentration of H+~Y3+ involved in the cation exchange reaction was 1:1.733. Further, a comprehensive understanding of the Y-ALG calcination process was developed using thermo-gravimetric analysis, along with results obtained from differential scanning calorimetry (TGA/DSC). A detailed analysis of the XRD Rietveld refinement plots revealed that the crystallite sizes of Y2O3 nanoparticles were about 4 nm (500 °C) and 15 nm (800 °C), respectively. Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) was employed to investigate the electrochemical oxidation of catechol. The oxidation peak currents of catechol at Y2O3 (500 °C)/GCE and Y2O3 (800 °C)/GCE showed two stages linear function of concentration (2.0~20.0 × 10−6 mol/L, 20.0~60.0 × 10−6 mol/L). The results indicated that the detection limits were equal to 2.4 × 10−7 mol/L (Y2O3 (500 °C)/GCE) and 7.8 × 10−7 mol/L (Y2O3 (800 °C)/GCE). The HT ht value versus time of clays is shown in Fig. When the HT ht value is equal to 100%, it means the strength of soil has recovered its original intact shear strength. The regained strength of YS-1 clay is also considerable, and the value of HT ht is greater than 40% after 2 months. Trimetal Fe0.8CoMnO4 (FCMO) nanocrystals with a diameter of about 50 nm perfectly embedded in N doped‐carbon composite nanofibers (denoted as FCMO@C) are successfully prepared through integrating double‐nozzle electrospinning with a drying and calcination process. The as‐prepared FCMO@C nanofibers maintain a high reversible capacity of 420 mAh g−1 and about 90% capacity retention after 200 cycles at 0.1 A g−1. For a long‐term cycle, the FCMO@C electrode exhibits excellent cycling stability (87% high capacity retention at 1 A g−1 after 950 cycles). Kinetic analysis demonstrates that the electrochemical characteristics of the FCMO@C corresponds to the pseudocapacitive approach in charge storage as an anode for sodium ion batteries, which dominantly attributes the credit to FCMO nanocrystals to shorten the migration distance of Na+ ions and the nitrogen‐doped carbon skeleton to enhance the electronic transmission and favorably depress the volume expansion during the repeated insertion/extraction of Na+ ions. More significantly, a self‐supported mechanism via continuous electrochemical redox reaction of Fe, Co, and Mn can effectively relieve the volume change during charge and discharge. Ti-6Al-4V alloy is widely used for the deep-sea manned submersible. In addition to the normal cyclic loading, the manned cabin will experience a period of dwell time in each cycle during their service life. In this research, the fatigue and dwell-fatigue crack growth behavior of Ti-6Al-4V alloy under different dwell time were studied experimentally. The mechanism of dwell-fatigue crack growth was investigated. The acceleration phenomenon of the dwell-fatigue crack growth can be directly observed in the experiment. The relationship between the crack length and the dwell time was captured under different Δ K within one cycle. The results presented that there is a saturation time for the dwell-fatigue crack growth. A prediction model is proposed to predict the dwell-fatigue crack growth behavior considering the effects of dwell time. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
