Thermoplastic vulcanizate based on ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer/nitrile rubber (EVA/NBR TPV) was prepared by dynamic vulca-nization method, the effect of the mass ratio of rubber to plastic on the superhydrophilic behavior of EVA/NBR TPV surface was researched, the microstructure and super hydrophilicity of EVA/NBR TPV super hydrophilic surface were studied, and the hydrophilic mechanism was preliminarily discussed. The results showed that the surface hydrophilicity of EVA/NBR TPV prepared by template method with water-resistant sandpaper as template was better when the mass ratio of rubber to plastic of EVA/NBR TPV was 20/80. The surface hydrophilicity of EVA/NBR TPV film with the mass ratio of rubber to plastic of 20/80 was the best when the sandpaper NO 1000 was used as the template at 165 °C after being preheated for 10 min, being hot pressed for 3 min and being cold-pressed for 5 min.

Objective · To identify some related molecular markers for the diagnosis and treatment of lung adenocarcinoma by transcriptome analysis. Methods · The differentially expressed analyses were performed to identify the differentially expressed genes (DEGs), the differentially expressed miRNAs (DEMs), and the differentially expressed circRNAs (DECs). Functional and pathway enrichment analyses were conducted for DEGs, and the targets prediction for DEMs. Regulated network of the DEGs and DEMs was constructed, and some candidates were selected. The biomarkers obtained were verified by the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database and the qRT-PCR, and the correlation between their expression levels and overall survival and tumor stage were analyzed. Results · Sixty-one overlaps were contained in the 3 sets of DEGs in 3 gene expression profiles, which were enriched in 32 gene ontology (GO) terms and 10 pathways. Twenty-four DEMs were identified, and 612 miRNA-target pairs were screened out that the target genes were DEGs. In the circRNA microarray, 92 DECs were obtained. ADRA1A, hsa-miR-141-5p and hsa-miR-191-3p were important nodes in the network. TCGA and qRT-PCR results were consistent with the microarray analysis results, in addition, hsa-miR-191-3p was significantly correlated with tumor stage. Conclusion · ADRA1A, hsa-miR-141-5p, hsa-miR-191-3p, SFTPC, ITLN2 and SLC6A4 might be potential biomarkers of lung adenocarcinoma, and hsa-miR-191-3p might be associated with tumor progression. A key to the pathogenic success of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb), the causative agent of tuberculosis, is the capacity to survive within host macrophages. Although several factors required for this survival have been identified, a comprehensive knowledge of such factors and how they work together to manipulate the host environment to benefit bacterial survival are not well understood. To systematically identify Mtb factors required for intracellular growth, we screened an arrayed, non-redundant Mtb transposon mutant library by high-content imaging to characterize the mutant-macrophage interaction. Based on a combination of imaging features, we identified mutants impaired for intracellular survival. We then characterized the phenotype of infection with each mutant by profiling the induced macrophage cytokine response. Taking a systems-level approach to understanding the biology of identified mutants, we performed a multiparametric analysis combining pathogen and host phenotypes to predict functional relationships between mutants based on clustering. Strikingly, mutants defective in two well-known virulence factors, the ESX-1 protein secretion system and the virulence lipid phthiocerol dimycocerosate (PDIM), clustered together. Building upon the shared phenotype of loss of the macrophage type I interferon (IFN) response to infection, we found that PDIM production and export are required for coordinated secretion of ESX-1-substrates, for phagosomal permeabilization, and for downstream induction of the type I IFN response. Multiparametric clustering also identified two novel genes that are required for PDIM production and induction of the type I IFN response. Thus, multiparametric analysis combining host and pathogen infection phenotypes can be used to identify novel functional relationships between genes that play a role in infection.

During diabetes, structural and functional changes in the alimentary tract are known to take place resulting in an increased absorption of intestinal glucose and alterations in the activities of brush-border disaccharidases. To elucidate the effect of administrating polysaccharide from Gynura divaricata (PGD) on disaccharidase activities, the specific activities of intestinal disaccharidases, namely sucrase, maltase and lactase, were measured in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. Normal control and diabetic rats were treated by oral administration with PGD. Specific activities of intestinal disaccharidases were increased significantly during diabetes, and amelioration of the activities of sucrase and maltase during diabetes was clearly visible by the treatment with PGD. However, the increased activity of lactase during diabetes mellitus was remarkably alleviated by the administration of PGD only in the duodenum. Meanwhile, oral sucrose tolerance tests demonstrated that PGD alleviated the hyperglycaemia during diabetes mellitus, resulting from the amelioration in the activities of intestinal disaccharidases. The present investigation suggests that PGD exerted an anti-diabetic effect partly via inhibiting the increased intestinal disaccharidase activities of diabetic rats. This beneficial influence of administration of PGD on intestinal disaccharidases clearly indicates their helpful role in the management of diabetes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, property of air conditioning fiber/tencel/basolan wool were described briefly. It discussed the spinning technics of semi-worsted production process and technical of air conditioning fiber/tencel/basolan wool (40/30/30) 20. 83 tex blended yarn. It discussed some questions in manufacture practice of spinning process ,and provided some measures to solve these questions. The key technological parameters in developing of air conditioning fiber/tencel/basolan wool blended knitting yarn were introduced. The quality of the blended knitting yarn was measured. Meanwhile, it can contain the features including soft, breathable, color and degree of good features among three fibers. Good yarn evenness, hairiness less high strength, high-grade yarn in kind, can help us achieve the desired production requirements. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
