Herein, a single-camera stereo digital image correlation (DIC) method is developed for dynamic deformation measurement, and a dual-biprism high-speed stereo camera system is proposed to capture surface images. Then, full-field displacement and strain distributions are obtained after correlation and differential calculation using the stereo-DIC algorithm. After a typical experiment is performed to verify the accuracy of the proposed system, full-field displacement and strain distributions of sandwich panels subjected to low-velocity impacts are determined. These results show that the proposed system is an efficient and convenient tool for dynamic deformation measurement.

The typical steam parameters of ultra-supercritical secondary reheat units put into operation in China are 31 MPa/600 ℃/620 ℃/620 ℃. Based on the introduction of the research of high temperature resistant materials， this paper analyzes the high steam parameters of the double reheat units that can be applied in engineering. This paper studies the technical economy comparison of 35 MPa/615 ℃/630 ℃/630 ℃ high steam parameter scheme and conventional steam parameter double reheat unit scheme. The results show that when the price of standard coal is higher than 820 yuan/ton， the economy of the 630 ℃ class double reheat units is superior. If the future carbon emission trading income is considered， the coal price at the economic balance point of the two schemes is about 690 yuan/ton.

ABSTRACT Rapid expansion (RE) of tropical cyclones (TCs) is a structural evolution that specifies the dramatic geometric synthesis increase in TC size. Its destructive potential is comparable or even more pronounced than that by the TC rapid intensification but receives limited attention. In this study, we utilise the ERA5‐derived 41‐year (1979–2019) global climatology of TC outer size data (i.e., effective azimuthal‐area‐average radius of 34‐kt gale‐force surface winds, R34EFF) to define RE and reveal the global climatology of RE for the first time, where RE is defined as the 90th percentile of global expanding samples (i.e., ΔR34EFF > 50 NM per 24 h; 1 NM = 1.852 km). Statistics show that 32% of all TCs underwent RE at least once during their lifetime. Climatologically, the proportion of RE decreased significantly in the globe (7%) and Northern Hemisphere (9%), particularly in the western North Pacific (8%). Seasonally, the RE proportion peaks in the early and late TC seasons. Spatiotemporally, distinct spatiotemporal variations and interdecadal changes of RE are found. In view of TC lifecycle, TCs likely reach their lifetime maximum intensity and lifetime maximum size after RE initiation. The duration of RE varies widely from basin to basin, while its seasonal variability is relatively smaller. Regarding the relationship between RE and TC intensity, the intensity of rapidly expanding TCs may increase or decrease with the former being more likely. The initial size and intensity of rapidly expanding TCs tend to be small (45 NM) and weak (60 kt), respectively. This study focused on exploring the effects of Neolamarckia cadamba leaf extract (NE) on the fermentation process and bacterial community of stylo (Stylosanthes guianensis) silage. Fresh raw materials of stylo were ensiled with 0%, 1%, and 2% NE, and various fermentation parameters, nitrogen components, and microbial compositions were analyzed at different time points (days 3, 7, 14, and 30) during the ensiling process. The experiment showed that, in comparison to the control group, incorporating NE into the ensiling process resulted in improved fermentation parameters, including increased lactic acid and acetic acid levels, as well as decreased pH, coliform population, and ammonia nitrogen concentration. Moreover, the relative abundances of Lactobacillus and Pediococcus were augmented, while the growth of Enterobacter was inhibited by the NE addition. These results suggest that NE has potential as a novel additive for silage, promoting a reduction in harmful bacteria and enhancements in the nutritional quality and fermentation characteristics of stylo silage. Given China's ambition to realize carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutralization by 2060, hydrogen is gradually becoming the pivotal energy source for the needs of energy structure optimization and energy system transformation. Thus, hydrogen combined with renewable energy has received more and more attention. Nowadays, power-to-hydrogen, power-to-methanol, and power-to-ammonia are regarded as the most promising three hydrogen-driven power-to-X technologies due to the many commercial or demonstration projects in China. In this paper, these three hydrogen-driven power-to-X technologies and their application status in China are introduced and discussed. First, a general introduction of hydrogen energy policies in China is summarized, and then the basic principles, technical characteristics, trends, and challenges of the three hydrogen-driven power-to-X technologies are reviewed. Finally, several typical commercial or demonstration projects are selected and discussed in detail to illustrate the development of the power-to-X technologies in China. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Optimizing methanol reforming for hydrogen production is crucial, in which the regulation of the catalyst structure has a significant impact on improving catalytic activity. LaCoO3 perovskite is a promising catalyst for this application due to its tunable structure and exceptional thermal stability. This work reports the modulation of the active phase in the perovskite LaCo1−xCuxO3 (x = 0, 0.03, 0.06, 0.12) by annealing under a H2 atmosphere. The results of XPS, XRD, and H2-TPR reveal that Cu doping and hydrogen reduction can modify the chemical states of B-site elements. Consequently, the activity of methanol reforming for hydrogen production is considerably enhanced. The optimal performance for methanol hydrogen production observed in LaCo0.97Cu0.03O3 suffered from H2 reduction at 300 °C. This is due to the modulation of the active phase structure with appropriate redox pairs of Cu2+/Cu+, Co3+/Co2+ and O2−/Ov. There is no meta-analysis about the effects of pegfilgrastim on the occurrence of febrile neutropenia (FN) in pediatric/adolescent cancer patients. The study explored the efficacy of prophylactic pegfilgrastim in preventing FN in children/adolescents with cancer. PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library were searched for studies published before April 7, 2020. The primary outcome was the rate of FN. Effect size (ES) and odds ratio (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were used to evaluate the outcome. The ES represented the rate of FN, and the STATA 'metaprop' command was used to synthesize the rate. Eight studies were included, comprising 167 patients and 550 courses of treatment. There was no difference between pegfilgrastim and filgrastim for the rate of FN in children receiving chemotherapy (OR = 0.68, 95% CI: 0.20–2.23, P = 0.520). In patients receiving pegfilgrastim, the rate of FN was 25.6% (95% CI: 14.9%−36.3%), the rate of grade 4 FN was 38.3% (95% CI: 19.2%−59.5%), the rate of severe neutropenia (SN) was 40.5% (95% CI: 35.1%−46.1%), and the rate of treatment delays due to FN was 4.8% (95% CI: 0.8%−11.3%). The number of studies that could be included was small; therefore, a specific type of cancer or a specific treatment could be studied. Heterogeneity was high. There was no difference between pegfilgrastim and filgrastim for the rate of FN. The use of pegfilgrastim was still associated with rates of FN, grade 4 FN, severe neutropenia, and treatment delays due to FN in pediatric cancer patients. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
