Abstract

Solar‐driven interfacial evaporation is an emerging desalination technology that can potentially relieve the freshwater scarcity issue. To obtain high and continuous evaporation rates for all‐weather, chemically engineered structural materials have been widely explored for simultaneous photothermal and electrothermal conversion. However, many previously reported fabrication processes involve poor integration and considerable energy loss. Herein, a scalable photo‐electro‐thermal textile is proposed to enable high efficiency, long‐term salt rejection, and solar‐driven desalination. Specifically, the photo‐electro‐thermal yarns with a core (commercial electric wire)‐shell (polypyrrole‐decorated Tencel) structure realize the integration of electrothermal and photothermal conversion. The wrapping eccentricity of 1.53 mm and pitch of 3 T cm−1 for the electric wire are rationally regulated to achieve a high surface temperature of over 52 °C at a 3 V DC input. As a result, exceptional and stable evaporation rates of 5.57 kg m−2 h−1 (pure water) and 4.89 kg m−2 h−1 (3.5 wt.% brine) under 1 kW m−2·radiation with a 3 V input voltage are realized. Practical application shows that the textiles can achieve high water collection of over 46 kg m−2 d−1 over the whole day of operation. The constructed photo‐electro‐thermal textile‐based evaporator provides an effective method for commercial and scalable photo‐electro‐thermal conversion to achieve high‐performance and salt‐resistant solar‐driven desalination. Abstract

Energy generation systems based on FC (fuel cell) are viewed as a viable substitute for those that simply rely on thermodynamic cycles in the power production field. In this paper, a 10-stack SOFC systems performance and optimization of that utilizing a newly improved optimizer known as the Fractional-order Kho-Kho optimization method will be presented in this paper. The multi-objective optimization approach is applied in the optimization phase to achieve the desired performance goals for the SOFC system. With the help of this technique, the desired system can be optimized in accordance with two objective functions: first, the electric power of the system can be maximized, while the equalized price of the electricity produced is minimized. Then, the electrical efficiency of the system can be maximized, while the equalized price of the electricity produced is minimized. The results show that, by reducing the coefficient and increasing efficiency, optimal solutions were achieved with higher electricity prices. It is observed that an increase in energy prices led to a 9% increase in productivity, whereas a 15% increase resulted in only a 2% increase. The findings demonstrate that multi-objective optimization may be used as a sophisticated analytical tool as well as a guiding element for decision-makers utilizing such a system. 18. False Data Injection Attacks on LFC Systems: An AI-Based Detection and Countermeasure Strategy

Abstract

The development of integrated energy system has promoted the development of the power system into the largest and most complex cyber-physical energy system, where the change in the openness of the load frequency control (LFC) system has also increased its susceptibility to false data injection attacks (FDIAs). This paper porposes an artificial intelligence (AI) based detection and countermeasure strategy to protect LFC systems from FDIAs. First, The levenberg-marquarelt-back propagation (LM-BP) neural networks (NNs) is trained by collecting the historical data of frequency deviation, power deviation of contact line, and active power load deviation. Second, the output control signal of LM-BP NNs is tested against the output of the system controller for residuals to determine whether has FDIAs. Furthermore, to resist the negative effects of FDIAs, the control signal calculated by the LM-BP NNs will replace the traditional proportion integration differentiation (PID) output. Finally, The advantages of the proposed strategy are illustrated by the two interconnected power systems.

Abstract

The contribution of substance from Yellow River, Yangtze River, and Korean rivers to the sedimentation of Yellow Sea is studied through geochemical analysis and through characterization of the source of the substance about sediment from Core NT1 among the lutaceous area in Central South Yellow Sea. The research finds out that the sediment in Core NT1 mainly comes from Yangtze River and Yellow River, the sediment between 0–7.70 m in upper Core NT1 mainly belongs to Yangtze River source; the sediments between 7.70-16.60 m and 42.0–54.80 m in middle Core NT1 are mainly from Yellow River, the 26 m thick sediment interlayer in it mainly comes from Yangtze River; and the sediment between 54.80–69.76 m in the bottom of Core NT1 is mainly from Yangtze River. The results demonstrate that Yangtze River has been playing a main role in the lutaceous area in the Central South Yellow Sea since early Late Pleistocene, and Yellow River started to influence the continental sedimentation of Yellow Sea from early Warm Glaciation of late Late Pleistocene.

41. From 0D to 3D nanomaterial-based composite membranes for CO2capture: Recent advances and perspectives

Abstract

With the rapid development of nanotechnology, nanomaterials with their excellent structural and functional properties are bound to bring a technological revolution for membrane separation, especially in the field of gas separation has aroused wide attention. Since the industrial revolution, the rapid increase in population has led to rapid industrialization, and the emission of greenhouse gases such as CO2into the atmosphere has been increasing year by year, causing a series of problems such as global warming and seriously affecting economic development. To reach the "double carbon" standard and accelerate economic growth, among various CO2capture technologies, membrane-based separation has the advantages of high efficiency, low consumption, green and easy preparation, which has become a novel boom in CO2capture technology research. The nanomaterials have excellent molecular sieving ability, ordered pore structure and outstanding interfacial compatibility. Also, the nanomaterials provide special nanochannels for the transportation of gas molecules in the hybrid matrix membrane, which reduces the gas transmission resistance and is interested in improving the gas flux. In addition, the nanomaterials have certain solubility for CO2gas molecules, which is beneficial to improve the separation performance of the composite membrane. Therefore, this review takes membrane materials as the core and introduces the latest research progress of nanomaterials of different dimensions such as 0D, 1D, 2D, and 3D in the construction of efficient CO2capture membranes based on the membrane separation mechanism. In addition, the application of different scale nanomaterials in gas separation was introduced. Finally, the unique advantages and challenges of nanomaterials are discussed, and future research directions and development opportunities are proposed.

45. Prediction of Petroleum Prospect in the South Yellow Sea Basin Using Satellite Remote Sensing

Abstract

Using satellite remote sensing to measure the sea surface temperature of the East China Sea Shelf Basin can serve the purpose of predicting the petroleum prospect in the South Yellow Sea Basin. The satellite thermal infrared temperature anomaly area always repeats in the same position as the proved oil prospect area in the East China Sea Shelf Basin, and coincides well with both the CH4 content curve at the water-atmosphere interface and the seafloor geochemical anomaly. The sea surface temperature anomaly areas of the South Yellow Sea Basin in the satellite remote sensing image go banded along 123?30? in the S-N direction, and naturally follow the aeromagnetically interpreted eastern nose-type uplift that shows a S-N strike. The north and south ends of the eastern nose are considered as good oil prospect areas because temperature anomaly often occurs there. Published
