The 2.5D carbon glass hybrid woven composite (CGHWC) is currently being utilized as a protective material for the external cables of solid rockets due to its extensive advantages in terms of structural load-bearing and integrated thermal insulation. This study reveals that 2.5D hybrid woven composites, prepared using T300 and T800, exhibit improved compression and tensile properties, respectively. T300 and T800 carbon fibers are preferred for the preparation of 2.5D CGHWC, with a volume fraction of carbon fibers along the weft yarn ranging from 20 to 60%. As the proportion of carbon fibers increases, the weft tensile and compressive strength of the composite material progressively improve, resulting in a maximum increase of 67% in tensile strength and 52% in compressive strength. The optimal volume fraction of carbon fibers was found to be 40%. The performance retention of low-cost hybrid composite materials was investigated, and it was found that even when the cost of carbon fibers decreased by 87.5%, the mechanical properties could still be maintained at above 85%. This article has expanded the mechanical performance database of hybrid composite materials, providing data support and theoretical foundation for the large-scale engineering application of composite materials.

Objective In recent years, UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) SfM (Structure from Motion) technology has been widely applied as an emerging high-precision 3D topographic data acquisition technique in active tectonics research. However, existing domestic research primarily focuses on UAV platforms without RTK/PPK modules. Over the past two years, RTK and PPK technologies have gradually been introduced to UAV platforms, resulting in changes to field data collection and in-office data processing workflows compared to traditional UAV platforms without RTK/PPK modules. The differences in topographic data quality obtained through SfM processing of aerial photographs from UAV platforms equipped and not equipped with RTK/PPK modules under the same scenes and collection conditions still require investigation. Methods To address these questions and establish a streamlined data collection and processing workflow for different UAV platforms, a site where alluvial terraces are offset by the sinistral Longmu Co fault, northwestern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, was surveyed using the DJI M300 RTK UAV (equipped with the Zenmuse L1 LiDAR and a 20-megapixel visible light camera) and the DJI Phantom 4 Pro UAV (equipped with a 20-megapixel visible light camera). Through processing the raw data with SfM technology, high-resolution and high-precision DEM and DOM data were obtained for the study area. Additionally, 16 ground control points (checkpoints) were uniformly distributed in the research area, and their coordinates were measured using the Trimble R8 GNSS receiver in RTK mode to compare and validate the differences in data quality obtained by the two platforms. Results The data comparison showed that the visible light camera and LiDAR module carried by the M300 RTK demonstrated high accuracy, with root mean square errors (RMSEs) in the centimeter to decimeter range compared to the RTK-measured ground checkpoints. Compared to SfM data collected at the same time (RMSEX=0.176, RMSEY=0.099, RMSEZ=0.180, RMSEH=0.201, RMSE3D=0.270, unit: m), the Zenmuse L1 LiDAR data exhibited slightly higher accuracy (RMSEX=0.112, RMSEY=0.076, RMSEZ=0.111, RMSEH=0.135, RMSE3D=0.174, unit: m). The uncorrected SfM data from the Phantom 4 Pro had horizontal errors of approximately 1 meter (RMSEX=1.112, RMSEY=1.295, unit: m) and a vertical error of over 200 meters (RMSEZ=249.286, unit: m). After ground control point correction, the accuracy of the Phantom 4 Pro SfM data significantly improved, with RMSE of 0.046 m, 0.058 m, and 0.527 m in the X, Y, and Z directions, respectively. Further analysis of a topographic profile nearly perpendicular to the steep slopes of various terrace risers within the surveyed area revealed that, despite significant elevation discrepancies in the uncorrected Phantom 4 Pro SfM data, it still accurately reflected the relative topographic relief. Subtracting the profile elevation values from their corresponding RMSE, the profile shape closely matched the rest of the data. Based on the acquired DEM data, the displacement of the terrace at this location was measured using LaDiCaoz software, revealing a left-lateral strike-slip displacement of 122.5±5 m and a vertical displacement of 0.8±0.2 m. Conclusion The study results indicate that: (1) UAV SfM method and LiDAR technology have significantly improved the resolution of DOM and DEM, enabling more detailed interpretation and analysis of active faults and related structural landforms; (2) RTK SfM technology overcomes the limitations of using ground control points, providing a higher-precision and more efficient solution for micro-landform measurements in the field of active tectonics research; (3) when absolute three-dimensional coordinates in the study area are not crucial, and only relative terrain variations are required, UAVs without RTK modules can still meet the basic requirements for geomorphic fault displacement measurements in the absence of ground control point constraints; (4) combining UAV SfM technology with traditional fault geomorphology analysis and Quaternary dating techniques in high-precision quantitative active tectonics research can offer robust technical support for analyzing fault activity patterns, seismic hazard, landform evolution, and the occurrence patterns of geological disasters. Significance Through the aforementioned work, workflows for data collection, data processing, and geomorphic fault displacement measurement using SfM methods in active tectonics research were established for both UAV platforms equipped and not equipped with RTK/PPK modules. The fieldwork considerations and data accuracy of UAV SfM methods were analyzed, providing a reference for selecting UAV platforms and rapidly collecting and processing data for similar studies in the future.

ObjectiveTo investigate the acute effects of compound air pollution on children’s respiratory function.MethodsUsing panel group study design， 223 students in five classes of grade 4 from two primary schools （a， b） in Xuhui and Hongkou districts of Shanghai were randomly selected to measure pulmonary function and exhaled nitric oxide （FeNO）. The first three tests were carried out from May to June in 2020， and the fourth test was carried out from September to December in 2021. At the same time， the daily and hourly mean values of PM2.5， PM10， SO2， NO2， O3 and CO was collected from the nearby air quality monitoring points of the two schools during the same period ， as well as meteorological monitoring data （temperature， humidity， wind speed and atmospheric pressure）. The linear mixed effect model was used to analyze the effects of air pollution on pulmonary function and respiratory inflammation in the summer.ResultsThe results of single pollutant model showed that PM2.5， PM10， SO2 and NO2 were positively correlated with FeNO， and the effect was reflected in lag0， lag1 and lag3 （P

Due to excellent comprehensive properties such as high strength, high hardness, and excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance, the refractory high-entropy alloys have broad application prospects and research value in the fields of aerospace and nuclear energy. However, the refractory high-entropy alloys have very complex composition features, making it difficult to perform alloy design. It seriously restricts the development of high-performance refractory high-entropy alloys. In recent years, the machine learning technique has been gradually applied to various high-performance alloys with efficient and accurate modeling and prediction capability. In this review, there was a comprehensive summary of research achievements on machine learning-driven design of refractory high-entropy alloys. A detailed review on the applications and progress of machine learning technique in different aspects was given, including alloy phase structure design, mechanical property prediction, strengthening mechanism analysis and acceleration of atomic simulations. Finally, the currently existing problems in this direction were summarized. The prospect about promoting the design of high-performance refractory high-entropy alloys was presented, including development of high-quality database for refractory high-entropy alloys, establishment of quantitative relation of "composition-process-structure-property" and achievement of multi-objective optimization of high-performance refractory high-entropy alloys.

The Qilian Mountains are situated on the northeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau and serve as the leading edge of the plateau's northeastward expansion. The Menyuan Basin, characterized by typical basin landforms, provides valuable insights into the region's neotectonic activity and geomorphic evolution. As a representative mountain basin located in the central part of the Qilian Mountains, the Menyuan Basin's development pattern and geomorphic features are closely linked to tectonic activity. This study aims to investigate the variations in tectonic activity and their underlying causes along the north margin fault and different zones of the Menyuan Basin. To achieve this, 30 m resolution digital elevation model (DEM) data and ArcGIS spatial analysis technology were employed to extract the hypsometric integral (HI) and hypsometric integral curve (HC) of 15 rivers that traverse the northern edge of the basin. Subsequently, kriging interpolation was utilized to obtain the spatial distribution characteristics of HI within the basin. The findings reveal that HI values generally exhibit higher values on the western side and lower values on the eastern side of the Menyuan Basin, with the turning point (Laohugou) of the northern fault at the Menyuan Basin serving as the boundary. By combining the distribution of HI with field investigation results of active structures, it is observed that the eastern fault has extended into the basin's interior, giving rise to a series of active reverse fault–fold zones. This phenomenon may be attributed to changes in fault trends and the presence of northeastward faults. Additionally, a high HI anomaly is detected near Qingshizui Town in the basin's interior. Based on previous electromagnetic detection results, it is inferred that a buried fault exists within the basin. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that most rivers exhibit peak fluctuations in the stream length–gradient index (SL) at a specific position upstream of the main fault, indicating a strong correlation between the location of SL fluctuations and the position of the fault intersecting the river. In other words, tectonic activity can exert a significant influence on SL. Abnormal fluctuations near lithological transitions may suggest that local changes in lithology also impact the stream length-gradient index. The comprehensive analysis underscores the substantial differences in geomorphic development between the eastern and western sections of the northern edge of the Menyuan Basin, primarily controlled and influenced by the active structures in this region. Moreover, the aforementioned geomorphic parameters serve as sensitive indicators for evaluating tectonic activity.

In this work, a novel binary hybrid woven carbon nanotube (CNT) tape/copper wire carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composite is prepared. The mode I interlaminar fracture toughness (G IC) is employed to critically evaluate the delamination performance. A comparison of the G IC value with that of the carbon fiber reinforced composite confirms that incorporating CNT tapes and copper wires into the composite increases the value by 263%. In the transverse and through-thickness direction, the conductivity of the laminate increases to 458 and 193 S/m, which is increased by 196 and 675%, respectively. The thermal conductivity along the thickness direction is increased to 2.27 W/m K, an increase of 134%. The volume fraction of CNT tapes and copper wire are as low as approximately 0.87 and 0.47 vol%, respectively. 3D woven composites have potential applications in high-performance structures and lightning striking protection such as aircraft, ships, and engines, which benefits by the innovative through-thickness implantation of composites using CNT tape and copper wire.

ObjectiveTo compare the incidence of respiratory and allergic diseases in children in Xuhui District， Shanghai in 2013 and 2020， and to determine the influencing factors.MethodsAnnual average levels of air pollutants including PM2.5， PM10， O3， SO2， and NO2 were collected and described in Shanghai from 2013 to 2020. A cross-sectional survey was conducted by using a questionnaire among grade 3 to 5 students in a school in Xuhui District， Shanghai， in September 2013 and 2020， respectively. The questionnaire collected variables including living environment， daily habits， family history of respiratory and allergic diseases， and incidence of these diseases in children. Chi-square test was used to determine the difference across respiratory and allergic diseases. Logistic regression was conducted to determine the influencing factors.ResultsA total of 1 398 valid questionnaires were collected （705 in 2013 and 693 in 2020）. Compared with 2013， annual average concentrations of PM2.5， PM10， O3， SO2， and NO2 in 2020 significantly decreased. Objective To explore the risk factors of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in young adults and to establish a model for prediction, in order to provide reference for the early prevention of the disease in young people. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the young adults who underwent routine physical examination in the Department of Physical Examination from January 2018 to June 2022. Totally 365 adults with NAFLD were divided into the NAFLD group(observation group), and 273 healthy adults were divided into the Healthy group (control group). The differences in general information and blood drawing results between the two groups were analyzed. Results The proportion of male, smoking and hypertension in the NAFLD group was significantly higher than that in the Healthy group; The mean values of BMI and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol in the NAFLD group were significantly higher than those in the Healthy group; The median values of triglyceride, total cholesterol, uric acid, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and glycosylated hemoglobin in the NAFLD group were higher than those in the Healthy group, with significant difference(P＜0. 05). This paper summarized the auricular acupoint pressing therapy and nursing management for a patient with insomnia after quitting smoking. In addition to routine nursing, auricular acupoint pressing therapy and related health education were carried out. The sleep monitoring was conducted for the data analysis of sleep quality assessment. Sleep time of the patient was significantly prolonged and sleep quality of the patient was improved after a 2-week intervention. The insomnia symptom after quitting smoking was effectively relieved. With the development of construction industry, the traditional manual inspection has been gradually eliminated due to many shortcomings, such as low efficiency, time-consuming and labor-intensive. Meanwhile, the current helmet detection model on the market does not consider the interference of complex weather, which greatly affects the detection performance. A low-cost helmet detection scheme is proposed in this paper, which can be used in various complex weather environments such as heavy rain, fog and snow. Firstly, the monitoring video of the construction site is sliced as the helmet wearing detection data set, and improved on the basis of Yolo v5s model to make it meet the requirements of helmet detection. Secondly, data augmentation and oversampling are adopted to improve the accuracy for small targets. Finally, K-means++ clustering algorithm is utilized to change the dimension of anchor box for better detection performance, and MSRCR algorithm is used to filter complex weather conditions. Compared to the original Yolo v5s, the mean average precision of the proposed scheme achieves 94.27% under complex weather conditions. For images with a size of 300*300, the detection speed can reach 63 frames per second. Therefore, the scheme can realize a high-precision, real-time and low-cost helmet detection system which can be used in a complex weather environments effectively.

In this study, copper nanoparticles were synthesised according to green chemistry rules using the aqueous extract of Alhagi maurorum. The green-synthesised CuNPs were characterised using different techniques such as EDX, FE-SEM, XRD and FT-IR. The FE-SEM results confirm spherical morphology for the nanoparticles with a size of 42.68–68.87 nm. In vivo, the Mycoplasma pneumonia injection was applied for inducing pneumonia in the BALB/c mice, also the treatment was with CuNPs. The serum parameters such as inflammatory mediators (IL-6, TNF-α, IL-8, TGF and IL-1), total cell counts, and total protein content levels were evaluated. CuNPs regulated the levels of the inflammatory mediators in the infected mice. The cellular arrangements at the histopathological images were ameliorated with the administration of CuNPs. At the antioxidant test, the CuNPs and BHT removed 50% of free radicals at the concentrations of 181 and 110 µg/ml. In conclusion, the results revealed the ameliorative property of CuNPs green-formulated by A. maurorum aqueous extract on M. pneumoniae infected pneumonia mice model.

ObjectiveTo understand the correlation between air quality and pollutants in three underground subway stations in Shanghai and their influencing factors， in order to provide a reference for improving the ambient air quality of rail transit and enhancing control measures.MethodsAir quality was monitored in summer， autumn， and winter of 2021 at the halls， platforms， carriages and fresh air wells of three underground stations of Shanghai metro line 9， with indicators including temperature， relative humidity， wind speed， CO2， PM1， PM2.5， PM10， total airborne bacteria， total airborne fungi， and passenger flow. Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to explore the association between pollutant indicators and environmental indicators.ResultsThe relative humidity of air at three stations did not meet the national health standards （GB 37488‒2019）， with an exceedance rate of 66.7%； the PM10 detection index at individual stations in autumn and winter did not meet the national health standards （GB 37488‒2019）， with an exceedance rate of 20.6%， while the rest of the indexes basically met the requirements of the standards. Spatially， the CO2 and wind speed in the carriage were higher than in other areas of the station； the concentration of particulate matter in the fresh air well and the total number of airborne fungi were higher than in other areas. Seasonally， the concentration of particulate matter was higher in winter than in summer and autumn， while the microbial indexes were higher in summer than in autumn and winter. The correlation and regression analysis showed that the passenger flow was significantly and positively correlated with the CO2 concentration； the temperature and humidity were significantly and negatively correlated with the particulate matter concentration and positively correlated with the microbial index. The correlation and multiple regression analysis showed that the subway station health indicators were significantly affected by the ambient temperature， humidity， seasonal and monitoring regional factors， while the influence of sampling time had no significant effect on the differences in the health indicators.ConclusionThe air quality of the three stations in this survey generally meets the requirements of health standards. The changes of air pollutants in subway stations show obvious spatial and temporal characteristics. The passenger flow and temperature and humidity， as well as sample sites are important factors affecting the concentration of particulate matter and the level of air microorganisms， which need to be considered when formulating the corresponding protection strategies.

In this article, marine environment detection has been studied for improving the high resolution of the environment. The problem of low resolution of marine environment detection is caused by data synthesis defects. The supply chain management (SCM) technology is used to optimize related data to improve the resolution. The main procedure is to first preprocess the obtained hydrological data and eliminate the unreasonable amount represented by extreme values, and then the SCM method was used to estimate the results. Finally, the accuracy of the estimation is evaluated by the cross-validation algorithm. In the example verification, the comparison between the SCM method and the traditional optimal interpolation (OI) method in data integration accuracy has been done. This article compares mean square error, mean absolute error (MAE), root-mean-square error (RMSE), and R 2 parameters. SCM provides better results than OI. Mean error (ME) = 0.6°C/month, MEA = 1.6°C/month, RMSE = 42.3°C/month, and ME and MAE values are lower in summer. It shows that it is sensitive to the lack of data and has a better ability to provide high-resolution and accurate marine environmental data in real time.

Incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) is a local skin inflammation caused by fecal impregnation. By analyzing and summarizing the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) cognition, epidemiology, the concept of TCM external treatment and its application in IAD, this paper aims to broaden the thinking of IAD nursing, provide a basis for the exploration of more TCM external treatment methods applied to IAD, and provide a reference for the construction of systematic TCM external treatment methods applied to the nursing scheme of IAD patients. Objective To investigate the effect of rubbing therapy with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) ointment in the treatment of primary dysmenorrheal. Methods Totally 82 patients with primary dysmenorrheal were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group, with 41 cases in each group. All patients received Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction, and an additional therapy of TCM ointment rubbing was carried out in the treatment group. The pain degree was evaluated by Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), and the effect of intervention was compared between two groups. Results The VAS score dropped in both two groups after treatment, and the VAS score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group (P＜0. 01). The total effective rate was 90. 24%(37/41)in the treatment group, which was significant higher than 75. 61%(31/41)in the control group (P＜0. 05). Conclusion The rubbing therapy with TCM ointment is effective in pain relief in patients with primary dysmenorrheal. (目的 探讨运用中医护理技术中药膏摩疗法治疗原发性痛经的效果。方法 82例原发性痛经患者随机分为治疗组和对照组, 各41例。对照组给予少腹逐瘀汤治疗, 治疗组在对照组基础上增加中药膏摩疗法。采用视觉模拟自评量表(VAS)评估患者痛经疼痛程度, 比较两组干预效果。结果 治疗后两组VAS评分均较治疗前降低, 且治疗组VAS 评分低于对照组, 差异有统计学意义(P＜0. 01)。对照组总有效率75. 61%(31/41), 低于治疗组的90. 24%(37/41), 差异有统计学意义(P＜0. 05)。结论 中药膏摩疗法能进一步减轻痛经患者的疼痛程度。)

Fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) is secreted by hepatocytes as a peptide hormone to regulate glucose and lipid metabolism. FGF21 promotes hepatic ketogenesis and increases ketone body utilization in starvation. Histones are the target molecules of nutrients in regulating hepatic metabolic homeostasis. However, the effect of ketone bodies on FGF21 expression and the involvement of histones in it is not clear yet. The present study observed the effects of β-hydroxybutyrate (β-OHB), the main physiological ketone body, on FGF21 expression in human hepatoma HepG2 cells in vitro and in mice in vivo, and the role of histone deacetylases (HDACs) in β-OHB-regulated FGF21 expression was investigated. The results showed that β-OHB significantly upregulated FGF21 gene expression and increased FGF21 protein levels while it inhibited HDACs’ activity in HepG2 cells. HDACs’ inhibition by entinostat upregulated FGF21 expression and eliminated β-OHB-stimulated FGF21 expression in HepG2 cells. Intraperitoneal injections of β-OHB in mice resulted in the elevation of serum β-OHB and the inhibition of hepatic HDACs’ activity. Meanwhile, hepatic FGF21 expression and serum FGF21 levels were significantly increased in β-OHB-treated mice compared with the control. It is suggested that β-OHB upregulates FGF21 expression through inhibition of HDACs’ activity in hepatocytes.

Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) nursing technology has unique advantage in life cultivation and health preservation, chronic disease management and other areas. The community nurses’ awareness of TCM nursing technology remains to be improved. There is an increasing need for TCM nursing among community dwellers in China. However, the promotion and practice of TCM nursing technology provided by community nurses are influenced by the inconsistent standards of medical costs, level of community-based nursing service and other issues. This paper briefly summarized the Application status and thinking of TCM nursing technology in community nursing, in order to provide reference for the community-based promotion and practice. Objective To explore the application of FOCUS-PDCA nursing mode in intensive medical observation points for COVID-19 close contacts and the effect of preventing and controlling epidemic situation. Methods FOCUS-PDCA nursing work mode was used to analyze the risk of infection among nurses. Combined with modern artificial intelligence technology, the implementation process of PDCA cycle was replaced with the "non-contact" implementation process. Results The centralized medical observation point operated for 25 days, and a total of 24 close contacts were treated. The nursing work was carried out successfully without infection, and the nursing quality was continuously improved. Conclusion The “non-contact” nursing practise based on FOCUS-PDCA mode can produce certain satisfactory effects. (目的 探讨FOCUS-PDCA护理工作模式在新型冠状病毒肺炎密切接触者集中医学观察点的应用及防控疫情的效果。方法 采用FOCUS-PDCA护理工作模式分析护理人员感染的风险问题, 与现代人工智能技术相结合, 将PDCA循环的实施过程改进为“无接触式”实施过程。结果 集中医学观察点运行25 d, 共收治24例密切接触者, 护理工作顺利开展, 无感染事件发生, 持续提高护理质量。结论 采用基于FOCUS-PDCA 的“无接触”护理工作模式, 效果较好, 值得借鉴。)

Objective To investigate the effect of blood-letting acupuncture and cupping therapy in the treatment of herpes zoster. Methods Totally 60 cases of herpes zoster patients admitted to our department between October 2020 and June 2021 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group, 30 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional western medicine treatment, and the observation group was given blood-letting acupuncture and cupping therapy on the basis of the control group. The improvement of pain and rash symptom was assessed and compared between the two groups. This paper analyzes the sudden abnormal gas outburst and its change during the initial mining period of the 2601 fully mechanized caving face in Zhangcun Coal Mine. It is proposed to use roof pre-cracking in the 2603 fully mechanized caving face to reduce the initial pressure step, and the inclination is high after drilling through the cut hole. Technical measures such as gas drainage in advance and increasing air supply with the increase of gas emission can eliminate the sudden abnormal gas outflow during the initial mining period, and completely solve the problem of gas exceeding the limit during the initial mining period of fully mechanized caving face. The following conclusions are drawn: the gas control technology system in the initial mining period, which is based on the back-inclined high-drainage roadway as the main body, is composed of roof pre-splitting, drilled through the cut hole, and increased air volume in the initial mining period. The sudden gas surge in the early stage solved the problem of gas overrun in the initial mining period.

Objective To observe the regulation of Panx1 on ATP/IP3 signaling pathway and its mechanism during cisplatin-induced apoptosis of lung adenocarcinoma cells. Methods Human lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549 was used as the research object and carbenoxolone (CBX) was used as a drug interference tool. A549 cells were divided into normal control group, the CBX group, the cisplatin (DDP) group and the CBX+DDP group. MTT assay and Annexin V/PI assay were used to detect the survival and apoptosis rates of A549 cells. The relative concentrations of extracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and intracellular inositol triphosphate (IP3) were measured by Chemiluminescence and ELISA. Results Compared with DDP group, the cell survival rate of CBX+DDP group increased, while the early and late apoptotic rates and the release concentration of extracellular ATP and intracellular IP3 decreased (all P < 0.01). Conclusion Panx1 can increase the sensitivity of lung adenocarcinoma cells to cisplatin by regulating the ATP/IP3 signaling pathway.

We report the observation of (ultra)strong light-matter coupling, in the UV spectral region, between optical modes of a metal/dielectric bilayer nanocavity and the electronic excitations of spin-crossover (SCO) molecules. By thermally switching the SCO molecules between their low-spin and high-spin states, we demonstrate the possibility of fine-tuning the light-molecule hybridization strength, allowing a reversible switching between strong- (with Rabi splitting values of up to 550 meV) and weak-coupling regimes within a single photonic resonator. As a result, we show that spin-crossover molecular compounds constitute a novel, promising class of active nanomaterials in the context of tuneable and reconfigurable polaritonic devices.

BackgroundDecommissioning of nuclear facilities generates large quantities of different types of radioactive material. According to the requirement of the waste packaging, most incompressible waste must be put into steel boxes directly, which makes it difficult to measure and obtain the activity of the radioactive material in the steel boxes.PurposeThis study aims to establish an approach for measuring radioactive waste in steel box based on the in situ objects counting system (ISOCS).MethodsIn this work, ISOCS was used to characterize the radioactive material in steel boxes. The corrections for the absorption coefficients and the geometry factors of the big bulky sources were calculated using the ISOXSW (ISOCS Calibration SoftWare) in situ efficiency calibration without a radioactive source software. The verification experiments were carried out using standard sources with similar size and geometry.ResultsThe results show that the measurement error of six symmetrical positions of steel box with standard 137Cs and 60Co radioactive source by ISOCS is less than 30%.ConclusionsThe study verifies that ISOCS software is able to accurately estimate the composition and activity of radioactive material in a steel box.

In the space rendezvous and docking, real-time measurement of the position and attitude between the visual sensor on the tracking spacecraft and the characteristic target on the target spacecraft is needed, and the premise is to quickly and accurately identify the feature targets. In this paper, a fast recongnition algorithm of four concentric ring feature targets is proposed. Firstly, the algorithm uses the optimized Otsu for image segmentation. Then the contour is extracted by the connected region recognition method. Finally, according to the relationship between the circumference and the area of the circle, the circle is determined, and the least square method is used to fit the circle and extract the center of the feature circle. The experimental results show that the method can recognize feature targets accurately and quickly within 2 m distance, and the computational efficiency to the method is improved by nearly 10 times compared with the pre-optimization algorithm.

Objective To investigate the molecular mechanism by which hepatitis C virus (HCV) core protein represses the expression of E-cadherin by interacting with zinc finger E-box binding homeobox 2 (ZEB2). Methods A HepG2 cell line stably expressing HCV core protein was constructed by transfecting the cells with pCore-3FLAG and G418 screening. The expression levels of ZEB2 and E-cadherin in the transfected cells were examined with RT-PCR and Western blotting, and the promoter activity of E-cadherin was assayed using a dual luciferase system. The interaction of HCV core protein with ZEB2 was detected by immunoprecipitation, and the binding of ZEB2 with E-cadherin promoter was determined by chromatin immuoprecipitation. Results Compared with the control cells, the cells transiently and stably expressing HCV core protein both showed significantly decreased expression of E-cadherin (P < 0.01) and increased ZEB2 expression (P < 0.05) at both the protein and mRNA levels. HepG2 cells transfected with HCV core protein exhibited obviously lowered luciferase activity driven by E-cadherin promoter (P < 0.01), while ZEB2 knockdown by RNA interference partly recovered the luciferase activity (P < 0.05). Immunoprecipitation results demonstrated that HCV core protein could bind directly to ZEB2. Chromatin immunoprecipitation assay showed that the presence of HCV core protein obviously enhanced the binding of ZEB2 to E-cadherin promoter. Conclusion HCV core protein increases the expression of ZEB2 and enhances its binding to E-cadherin promoter, and thus inhibits the expression of E-cadherin.

Objective To explore the effect of interferon-alpha-2b(IFN-alpha 2b) on the expression of programmed death receptor-1(PD-1), programmed death ligand-1(PD-L1) and CD4+ CD25+ Foxp3+ regulatory T cell (Treg) in JAK2 V617F-positive myeloproliferative neoplasms(MPN) and related clinical significance. Methods We collected 61 cases of JAK2 V617F-positive MPN patients, including 41 cases as the newly diagnosed group, 20 cases as the IFN-α2b treatment group and 20 healthy volunteers as control group. JAK2 V617F/JAK2 ratio was detected by fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (FQ-PCR). The expression levels of PD-1 and PD-L1 in bone marrow and Treg in peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometry. The bone marrow and peripheral blood samples from 15 patients were selected and treated with 1×106U/L IFN-α2b for 48h; and then the expression levels of PD-1, PD-L1 and Treg were detected. Results The expression levels of JAK2 V617F, PD-1, PD-L1 and Treg in the newly diagnosed group were significantly higher than those in IFN-α2b treatment group and control group(P < 0.05). The expression levels of PD-1, PD-L1 and Treg in the patients with JAK2 V617F/JAK2 ratio≥50% were significantly higher than those with mutation rate < 50%(P < 0.05). JAK2 V617F burden was positively correlated with PD-1, PD-L1 in bone marrow and PD-1 in lymphocyte, while not correlated with Treg. The expression of PD-1, PD-L1 and Treg in primary MPN cells were inhibited by IFN-α2b after 48 hours(P < 0.05). Conclusion PD-1, PD-L1 and Treg participate in the pathogenesis of MPN together. Interferon could inhibit the progress of MPN via inhibiting the expression of JAK2 V617F, PD-1, PD-L1 and Treg.
