The term fatty keratopathy is used to describe the phenomenon of fat deposition caused by corneal neovascularization, which will severely affect the eye’s beauty and vision. The purpose of this study was to establish a New Zealand white rabbit animal model of fatty keratopathy, that is, the establishment of an animal model of fatty keratopathy. The goal was achieved by the combination of a corneal neovascularization animal model and a hyperlipidemia animal model. Two groups were created according to the experimental sequence. The first group initially induced a corneal neovascularization pattern and later induced a hyperlipidemia pattern, and the second group followed the opposite sequence. The results of the two groups showed that all the significant crystalline deposits of the cornea were visible. So the animal models of fatty keratopathy were successfully established in both groups.

We simulated Arctic climate using a high‐resolution implementation of WRF driven by HadGEM‐ES2 climate model outputs, following IPCC5 warming scenarios RCP 2.6, RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5. The downscaled results indicate that, by the end‐of‐century, there are no significant changes in the average minimum central pressures or total number of winter Arctic cyclones. However, there are significant changes in the spatial patterns. For example, the frequency and vorticity of cyclones tend to increase over the western Arctic. Due to the poleward movement of the polar frontal zone and the increased low‐level tropospheric baroclinicity, more cyclones are expected to form within the Arctic Basin and migrate into the western‐central Arctic. We expect about 39% more cyclone tracks forming and dying in the Arctic Basin under RCP8.5, compared to present climate. On the other hand, with the reduced baroclinicity in the entire troposphere, there is a reduced genesis, frequency, and vorticity of cyclones over the Atlantic Arctic. Moreover, the depth of cyclones shows a robust decrease over the Arctic Basin, suggesting weakened eddy kinetic energy. With increasing greenhouse gases, the changes in cyclone vorticities and their depths tend to be stronger. In addition, the high resolution Polar WRF results demonstrate that changes in cyclone track density and intensities consistently become more pronounced with increasing radiative forcing. We focused on the scenarios outlined by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and their effects on Arctic cyclones. Our results show that, by the end of the 21st century, the overall characteristics of winter Arctic cyclones do not experience significant changes. However, there are interesting regional variations. The frequency and vorticity (spinning) force of cyclones are projected to decrease over the Atlantic Arctic but increase over the western Arctic. Simultaneously, fewer cyclones are expected over the Atlantic Arctic. Furthermore, the depth of cyclones over the Arctic Basin is expected to decrease, suggesting a weakening in their strength. In IPCC scenarios with higher emissions, the changes in cyclone characteristics become more pronounced. Similar trends are also observed in results from the latest climate models. To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of fractionated plasma separation and adsorption combined with continuous veno-venous hemofiltration (FPSA-CVVH) treatment in patients with acute bipyridine herbicide poisoning. A retrospective analysis of 18 patients with acute bipyridine herbicide poisoning was conducted, of which 9 patients were poisoned by diquat and 9 patients by paraquat. All patients underwent FPSA-CVVH treatment. The serum cytokine levels in pesticide-poisoned patients were assessed. The efficacy of FPSA-CVVH in eliminating cytokines, the 90-d survival rate of poisoned patients, and adverse reactions to the treatment were observed. Fourteen patients (77.8%) had acute kidney injuries and 10 (55.6%) had acute liver injuries. The serum cytokine levels of high mobility group protein B-1 (HMGB-1), interleukin-6 (IL-6), IL-8, interferon-inducible protein-10 (IP-10), monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1), and macrophage inflammatory protein-1β (MIP-1β) were significantly elevated. A total of 41 FPSA-CVVH treatment sessions were administered. After a single 8-h FPSA-CVVH treatment, the decreases in HMGB-1, IL-6, IL-8, IP-10, MCP-1, and MIP-1β were 66.0%, 63.5%, 73.3%, 63.7%, 53.9%, and 54.1%, respectively. During FPSA-CVVH treatment, one patient required a filter change due to coagulation in the plasma component separator, and one experienced a bleeding adverse reaction. The 90-d patient survival rate was 50%, with 4 patients with diquat poisoning and 5 patients with paraquat poisoning, and both liver and kidney functions were restored to normal. Cytokine storms may play a significant role in the progression of multiorgan dysfunction in patients with acute bipyridine herbicide poisoning. FPSA-CVVH can effectively reduce cytokine levels, increase the survival rate of patients with acute bipyridine herbicide poisoning, and decrease the incidence of adverse events. We show that the winter Beaufort High (BH) index defined by sea level pressure (SLP) has a robust negative trend under the scenarios SSP5‐8.5 and SSP2‐4.5, with a reduction by about 5 hPa and 2 hPa, respectively, by the end of the 21st century. The negative trends in the BH SLP are associated with the changes in the background SLP over the Arctic basin. However, the vorticity of the winter BH tends to intensify under SSP5‐8.5, but shows no robust increase under SSP2‐4.5. The intensification is associated with the enhanced ridge over the Western Arctic. Therefore, it is necessary to take into account the dynamic aspects of the BH, such as vorticity. Based on this assessment, under the most likely emissions scenario, the winter BH is likely to weaken through the 21st century, in terms of SLP, but shows no robust changes in term of vorticity. Coordinating the relationship between the digital economy, green innovation, and the urban-rural income gap is conducive to promoting common prosperity in high-quality development. This study aims to show that, in the short term, the development of the digital economy will promote the level of green innovation, which, in turn, will promote the development of the digital economy, but will also widen the urban-rural income gap. The study uses panel data of 273 prefecture-level cities from 2011 to 2019, and adopts the panel vector error correction model for quantitative analysis, combined with the theoretical analysis of the long- and short-term causal relationship among the digital economy, green innovation, and urban-rural income gap. The results reveal that, in the long term, the digital economy, green innovation, and urban-rural income gap demonstrate a double-circular causality that is positively promoting each other. The robustness test validates the conclusions. Therefore, while promoting the development of the digital economy and green innovation, the government should control the urban-rural income gap within a reasonable range, to provide theoretical and practical support for promoting the sustainable development of China's economy and realizing the goal of common prosperity. Smart cities are a product of the integration of the new urbanization process and information technology development in China, while inclusive green growth is an important strategic concept for economic development transformation. Whether the smart city pilot policy can promote inclusive green growth in China still needs to be tested. Based on panel data from 210 prefecture level and above cities from 2009 to 2020, this study used the multi-period difference-in-differences method to learn the impact of the smart city pilot policy on inclusive green growth in China, followed by a series of robustness tests. In addition, the sub-system path, location heterogeneity, and spatial spillover effects of policy effects were also examined. The results showed that: (J) The construction of smart cities would have a significant positive impact on inclusive green growth, and the policy effects would gradually increase over time. The construction of smart cities had a significant promoting effect on both economic growth and green growth, but the impact on inclusive growth was not significant. © There was significant regional heterogeneity in the impact of smart city construction on inclusive green growth. There was a significant positive impact in the eastern and western regions, a significant negative impact in the northeast region, and an insignificant impact in the central region. © The policy effects of smart city construction had significant spatial spillover characteristics. Smart city construction could significantly promote economic growth and green growth in adjacent non-pilot areas but could only significantly promote economic growth in adjacent pilot areas. Therefore, in the critical period of China's economic transformation and upgrading, in order to enhance the promotion of the pilot policy on inclusive green growth, on the one hand, the construction of smart cities should focus on promoting inclusive growth and formulating reasonable pilot goals according to local conditions based on the resource endowment of each region. With the increasing requirements for energy conservation and environmental protection, multi-layer vibrating screens have become hot issues. Compared with single-layer vibrating screens, multi-layer vibrating screens has much better performance in terms of processing effect, treatment capacity, and environmental protection. The research on the physical parameters of the multi-layer vibrating screen is of great significance to the actual production. However, analysis and simulation studies of multi-layer vibrating screens are limited. In this paper, the screening process of wet particles on a multi-layer vibrating screen was simulated by using the discrete element method. The characteristics and application scope of the two vibration modes were analyzed. The particle penetration rate, the number of collisions, and the distribution of the particles under 23 combinations of structures and vibration parameters were investigated. The influence of different parameters on screening performance was analyzed. Several optimal combinations of frequency, amplitude and screen inclination angle under different working conditions were obtained. The screening efficiency of the balanced elliptic motion is higher than that of the linear motion. The best combination of the three parameters is 4 mm amplitude, 20 Hz frequency, and 3° inclination angle. The efficiency is higher when the particles follow a distribution of arithmetic on the screen. This study provides a reference for the efficient operation and optimal design of large multi-layer screening equipment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
