The Spectral Radiance Piecewise Partition Model (SRPPM) is a new model for characterizing Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD). According to the additive property of the spectral radiances of the primary displayed color, the SRPPM model can be divided into three subspace partitions to calculate the transfer coefficient matrixes with cubic polynomial, which based on the relationship between the digital input of the LCD and the spectral radiance of displayed color. The color difference was used to evaluate the accuracy of this model. Comparing with other characterization models for LCD, the experimental results show that the average color difference of SRPPM is 0.82Δ E 76 , and 80% of the color differences between color samples are less than 1Δ E 76 .

We present a new method for image encryption on the basis of simplified fractional Hartley transform (SFRHT). SFRHT is a real transform as Hartley transform (HT) and furthermore, superior to HT in virtue of the advantage that it can also append fractional orders as additional keys for the purpose of improving the system security to some extent. With this method, one can encrypt an image with an intensity-only medium such as a photographic film or a CCD camera by spatially incoherent or coherent illumination. The optical realization is then proposed and computer simulations are also performed to verify the feasibility of this method.

We propose a new method to add different images together by optical implementation that is realized by the multi-exposure based on fractional Fourier transform hologram. Partial image fusion is proposed and realized by this method. Multiple images encryption can also be implemented by the multi-exposure of the hologram based on fractional Fourier transform. Computer simulations prove that this method is valid.

We analyse the diffraction result of optical field after Cosine zone plate, and theoretically deduce its transform matrix. Under some conditions, its diffraction distribution is a mixture of fractional Fourier spectra. Then we use Cosine zone plate and its diffraction result to image encryption. Possible optical image encryption and decryption implementations are proposed, and some numerical simulation results are also provided.

This article advances a new logistics financing model based on the notes receivable. This is a written promise to receive a stated amount of money in future. The article describes the structure and key processes of the model, and analyses the roles of the involved stakeholders. In order to enhance understanding, the article compares the model with a loan financing model, establishes a game model based on logistics enterprise financing, studies the strategies in the process of investment and financing, and concludes by defining its feasible region. This involves comparing the expected net revenues of different stakeholders in the two models. Based on the results, the paper analyses the financing process of a logistics enterprise in Shanghai and determines the optimal financing strategy. This paper is an attempt to improve business innovation in logistics financing and provides a sensible solution for the integrated logistics and finance services. This can effectively improve the stakeholders’ profit.

Vendor-managed inventory (VMI) has become more and more popular in some supply chains. This paper considers a vendor managed inventory model including a single manufacturer and a single retailer with fuzzy demand and compares the profits in VMI system with those in RMI???retailer-managed inventory??? system. A triangular fuzzy number is used to model the external demand, and the closed form solutions for VMI model are obtained. Numerical examples show that different from conventional studies that VMI always leads to a higher buyer’s profit, but supplier’s profit varies, VMI is not always an effective supply chain strategy that can realize many of the benefits obtainable in a fully integrated supply chain and the retailer also does not always benefit from VMI.

Manufacturer-supplier joint R&D basing on MICK resource integration is an effective method for new product development. However, the relationship risk in manufacturer-supplier joint R&D is particularly acute because the problems happened during the joint R&D such as different goals, uneven distribution of benefit, opportunism and so on. In this paper, relationship risk in manufacturer-supplier joint R&D basing on MICK resource integration was analyzed. Cognitive model of relationship risk was built up. In order to minimize the total relationship risk in risk area within the constraint of limited funds, the decision-making model of risk control was built up. The scientific decision-making method was raised to control the relationship risk in manufacturer-supplier joint R&D.

Strategic alliance has become an important way for enterprises to gain competitive advantage, thus lots of theories to explain strategic alliance appear. Resource-based view starts with the angle of discussing the way to acquire internal heterogeneous resources in enterprises. While enterprises are short of some kind of resources, they are able to acquire external resources in the form of strategic alliance in a network of heterogeneous resources, according to resources leverage principle. While resources are gradually internalized, their utilization effectiveness disappears, thus strategic alliances disband The process of outsourcing and internalization consists in the dynamic process of strategic alliances' evolution correspondingly. This paper presents an explanation of evolution mechanism of strategic alliances based on resources perspective.

The standardization of the structure for the emergency response management team (ERMT) is the foundation of efficiently handling all kinds of emergency. Basing on the work of other researchers, this paper used methodologies of ontology and UML to construct an ontology-based model for ERMT. It focused on the characteristics of ERMT. This ontology-based model facilitates the shared understanding for people from different domains. It maps the corresponding relationship between the positions in ERMT and the roles in government, in this way, strengthening the ability to manage and respond efficiently to the crisis. This paper is based on the actual requirements of enhancing emergency management, which is becoming more and more important after '911'. So it is very useful and has a wide application in practice. The model can be used to rapidly bring together various resources into rational ERMT according to types of unexpected events.

SCMM (Supply Chain Maturity Model) is a techniques and tools system that supports supply chain innovation by continuous improvement based on evaluating supply chain maturity and performance. The key to its effectiveness depends on the comprehensive and accurate evaluation of supply chain. Three typical SCMMs are reviewed and evaluated in this paper. And then three closely interrelated components of supply chain are put forward based on a survey of several firms. And all of them are viewed as 3-dimension perspective for evaluating supply chain. After that, a new SCMM, 3D-SCMM, is presented, in which the concept of 3D-supply chain maturity is defined and three sub-models are developed for evaluating and improving supply chain according to 3-dimension perspective.
