The geological storage of carbon dioxide (CO2) in offshore saline aquifers stands as a primary option for reducing CO2 emissions in coastal regions. China's coastal regions, particularly Shandong and Jiangsu provinces, face significant challenges in CO2 reduction. Therefore, evaluating the feasibility of CO2 geological storage in the adjacent seas is critical. To assess the suitability of a CO2 storage site, understanding its structural and reservoir characteristics is essential to mitigate injection and storage risks. In this study, we analyzed the structural characteristics and potential traps of the Yantai Depression in the South Yellow Sea Basin based on seismic data interpretation. We further conducted well logging analysis and post-stack seismic inversion to obtain lithological data, including acoustic impedance and sandstone content percentages from the Cenozoic Funing Formation, Dainan–Sanduo Formation, and Yancheng Formation. Our findings highlight that the Yantai Depression in the South Yellow Sea Basin exhibits diverse structural traps and favorable reservoir–caprock combinations, suggesting promising geological conditions for CO2 storage. The Upper Permian Longtan Formation in the Laoshan Uplift of the South Yellow Sea Basin hosts thick and distinctive tight sandstones. However, a comprehensive understanding of its pore structure and reservoir classification remains lacking. This study investigates the fully cored well, CSDP-2, utilizing thin section analysis, scanning electron microscopy, energy spectrum analysis, X-ray diffraction, high-pressure mercury intrusion, and nuclear magnetic resonance to characterize its petrophysical properties, pore space, and movable fluid characteristics. Additionally, fractal principles are further employed to examine reservoir heterogeneity and conduct a quantitative assessment, considering the complexity of tight sandstone pore structures. The findings reveal that the sandstones predominantly comprise feldspathic litharenites, with an average porosity of 1.567% and permeability of 0.099 mD, primarily containing intragranular pores. Two distinct sets of pores with significantly different sizes (r < 2 μm; r > 6 μm) were identified, displaying relatively high fractal dimensions and discrete distribution. Movable fluids primarily occupy pores with radii > 0.019 μm, reflecting pronounced overall heterogeneity. The reservoir was classified into three categories utilizing permeability, median radius, and movable fluid saturation as key evaluation parameters, with Class I representing a relatively high-quality reservoir. These findings advance our understanding of the pore development mechanism of tight sandstone reservoirs and provide geological evidence for further hydrocarbon exploration in this study area. Environmentally friendly lead-free double perovskites with good stability can solve the problems of toxicity and instability of lead halide perovskites and can be a powerful substitute for them. In this study, Cs2Na1−xAgxBi1−yAlyCl6 perovskite powders co-doped with Ag+ and Al3+ were synthesized using a simple hydrothermal method. They can emit bright and wide near-infrared light, with the center at 715 nm, and the photoluminescence quantum yield is as high as 48.6%. This bright emission results from the combined modification effects of self-trapped exciton (STE) formation, carrier incorporation by Ag+ and the carrier spatial confinement by the Al ions on the indirect band of Cs2NaBiCl6. In addition, Cs2Na1−xAgxBi1−yAlyCl6 also shows ultra-high structural stability and good thermal stability with a melting point of up to 600 °C. Our work not only opens up a new way for the design of efficient and stable near-infrared light-emitting materials with an atomic level confining modification, but also may have great applications in the fields of optical communication and quantum storage, as well as in near-infrared detection of the human body. Carbosulfan (CAS) is used as an insecticide on vegetables, but its toxicity might increase due to the formation of higher toxic metabolites including carbofuran (CAN), 3-hydroxycarbofuran (3-OH) and 3-ketocarbofuran (3-KETO). In this study, the transformation of CAS to its metabolites in pakchoi (Brassica campestrisssp.) and cucumber (CucumissativusL.) was investigated in the field in Beijing and Changsha and in a greenhouse in Hangzhou. CAS was metabolised to CAN, 3-OH and 3-KETO in pakchoi but only to CAN and 3-OH in cucumber. In pakchoi, the degradation of CAS (as measured by the DT50value, the time marking the disappearance of 50% of the pesticide) was the fastest in Hangzhou (0.7 d), followed by Changsha (1.4 d) and Beijing (2.3 d), whereas in cucumber, its degradation was the fastest in Changsha (1.6 d) and Hangzhou (1.6 d), followed by Beijing (2.5 d). These results suggested the monitoring of metabolites should be a prior objective for CAS, and different metabolites should be considered when assessing the risk of CAS in different vegetables. With high photoluminescence efficiency and a simple solution synthesis method, lead halide perovskites are expected to be a promising material for display and illumination. However, the toxicity and environmental sensitivity of lead hinder its potential applications. Here, we introduced Sb 3+ ions into the lead-free perovskites derivative (NH 4 ) 2 SnCl 6 via a doping strategy. For the first time we synthesis the excitation-dependent perovskite with dynamically tunable fluorescence from yellow to near-infrared (NIR) emission by varying the UV excitation from 360 to 390 nm at room temperature. The DFT calculations are highly consistent no matter whether the coordination number of Sb 3+ is 5 or 6. In contrasting to the early report of Sb triplet emission in the Sb doped perovskite, this material give a mixed self-trapped exciton (STE) emission. The 590 nm emission band is derived from the STE of SbCl 5 , and the 734 nm NIR emission band is attributed to the Sb-Sn mixed STE, which is supported by DFT calculations and spectral results. This study provides guidance for the design of perovskite phosphors with high efficiency and excitation-dependent properties.
