In this study, we developed convergent paired electrolysis for the coupling of nickel catalysts with alkyl radicals derived from photoinduced ligand-to-metal charge-transfer of cyclic alcohols and iron catalysts, providing a practical method for site-specific and remote arylation of ketones. Background: Allergen immunotherapy (AIT) is the only disease-modifying therapy that can achieve immune tolerance in patients through long-term allergen stimulation. Glycans play crucial roles in allergic disease, but no information on changes in glycosylation related to an allergic tolerance status has been reported. Methods: Fifty-seven patients with house dust mite (HDM) allergies were enrolled. Twenty-eight patients were not treated with AIT, 19 patients had just entered the AIT maintenance treatment phase, and 10 patients had been in the AIT maintenance phase for more than 1 year. Serum protein N-glycans were analyzed by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS), which included linkage-specific sialylation information. Results: Eighty-four N-glycans were identified in all three groups. Compared with the patients treated without AIT, the patients treated with AIT for a shorter time showed downregulated expression of high-mannose glycans and upregulated expression of α2,6 sialic acid. The patients treated with AIT in the maintenance phase for over 1 year, which was considered the start of immunological tolerance, showed downregulated expression of biantennary N-glycans and upregulated expression of multibranched and complex N-glycans. Nine N-glycans were changed between allergic and allergic-tolerant patients. Conclusions: The glycan form changed from mannose to a more complex type as treatment time increased, and multibranched complex glycans have the potential to be used as a monitoring indicator of immune tolerance. BACKGROUND: Soy protein gel products are prone to direct oxidation by reactive oxygen during processing and transportation, thus reducing their functional properties and nutritional values. A covalent complex was prepared with soy protein isolate (SPI) and ferulic acid (FA) catalyzed by laccase (LC). The complex was further treated with microbial transglutaminase (TGase) to form hydrogels. The structural changes of the covalent complex (SPI‐FA) and the properties and antioxidant stability of hydrogel were investigated. RESULTS: The SPI‐FA complexes were demonstrated to be covalently bound by sodium dodecyl sulfate–polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, and they had the least hydrophobic and free sulfhydryl groups at a 1.0 mg mL−1 FA concentration. The α‐helix of complexes increased from 11.50% to 27.39%, and random coil dropped from 26.06% to 14.44%. The addition of FA caused SPI fluorescence quenching and redshift. The hydrogel was formed after the complex was induced with TGase, and its hardness and water holding capacity was increased by 50.61% and 26.21%, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy showed that a layered and ordered gel structure was formed. After in vitro digestion, the complex hydrogels maintained stable antioxidant activity, and the free radical scavenging rates of DPPH and ABTS reached 87.65% and 84.45%, respectively. CONCLUSION: SPI‐FA covalent complexes were prepared under laccase catalysis, and complex hydrogels were formed by TGase. DNA methylation and chromatin accessibility play important roles in gene expression, but their function in subgenome expression dominance remains largely unknown. We conducted comprehensive analyses of the transcriptome, DNA methylation, and chromatin accessibility in liver and muscle tissues of allotetraploid common carp, aiming to reveal the function of epigenetic modifications in subgenome expression dominance. A noteworthy overlap in differential expressed genes (DEGs) as well as their functions was observed across the two subgenomes. In the promoter and gene body, the DNA methylation level of the B subgenome was significantly different than that of the A subgenome. Nevertheless, differences in DNA methylation did not align with changes in homoeologous biased expression across liver and muscle tissues. Moreover, the B subgenome exhibited a higher prevalence of open chromatin regions and greater chromatin accessibility, in comparison to the A subgenome. The expression levels of genes located proximally to open chromatin regions were significantly higher than others. Genes with higher chromatin accessibility in the B subgenome exhibited significantly elevated expression levels compared to the A subgenome. Contrastingly, genes without accessibility exhibited similar expression levels in both subgenomes. This work presents a recyclable liquid-metal/NdFeB composite magnet (LM magnet) with a reconfigurable shape and polarity. Taking advantage of the low-temperature phase-transition property of LMs, we can re-orient the NdFeB particles and reshape the LM magnets, to produce complex magnetization profiles or complex structured magnets. The manufacturing of LM magnets was realized at low temperatures by using a template and paired permanent magnets. The microscopic morphology and elemental composition of the LM magnet were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy, respectively. The magnetic properties and phase-transition properties of the LM magnet were analyzed using a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and a differential scanning calorimeter. The experimental results verified that the LM magnet can be recycled, reconfigured, and welded. The configurable magnetization profile with a resolution of up to 800 µm demonstrates that manufacturing of complex magnetic poles can be achieved through this technique. However, caused by the insertion of Zn2+, the strong coulomb interaction and sluggish diffusion kinetics have resulted in significant structure deformation, insufficient cycle stability and limited rate capability. And it is still far from satisfactory to accurately modulate H+ intercalation for superior electrochemical kinetics. Herein, the terrace‐shape δ−MnO2 hybrid superlattice by polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) pre‐intercalation (PVP−MnO2) was proposed with the state‐of‐the‐art ZIBs performance. Local atomic structure characterization and theoretical calculations have been pioneering in confirming the hybrid superlattice‐triggered synergy of electron entropy stimulation and selective H+ Grotthuss intercalation. Accordingly, PVP−MnO2 hybrid superlattice exhibits prominent specific capacity (317.2 mAh g−1 at 0.125 A g−1), significant rate performance (106.1 mAh g−1 at 12.5 A g−1), and remarkable cycle stability at high rate (≈100 % capacity retention after 20,000 cycles at 10 A g−1). Interactive wound dressings have displayed promising outcomes in enhancing the wound healing process. This study focuses on creating a nanocomposite wound dressing with interactive and bioactive properties, showcasing potent antioxidant effects. To achieve this, we developed cerium oxide nanoparticles utilizing curcumin as both the reducing and capping agent. Characterization techniques such as SEM, EDX, DLS, Zetasizer, FTIR, and XRD were utilized to analyze the cerium oxide nanoparticles synthesized through a green approach. The image analysis on the obtained TEM images showed that the curcumin-assisted biosynthesized CeO2NPs have a size of 18.8 ± 4.1 nm. The peaks located at 28.1, 32.7, 47.1, 56.0, 58.7, 69.0, and 76.4 correspond to (111), (200), (220), (311), (222), (400), and (331) crystallographic planes. We applied the Debye-Scherrer equation and observed that the approximate crystallite size of the biosynthesized NPs is around 8.2 nm based on the most intensive broad Bragg peak at 28.1°. The cerium oxide nanoparticles synthesized were integrated into an alginate hydrogel matrix, and the microstructure, porosity, and swelling behavior of the resulting wound dressing were assessed. The characterization analyses provided insights into the physical and chemical properties of the green-synthesized cerium oxide nanoparticles and the alginate hydrogel-based wound dressing. In vitro studies demonstrated that the wound dressing based on alginate hydrogel exhibited favorable antioxidant properties and displayed hemocompatibility and biocompatibility. Animal studies conducted on a rat full-thickness skin wound model showed that the alginate hydrogel-based wound dressing effectively accelerated the wound healing process. As one of the most promising anodes of aqueous batteries, Zn metal faces uncontrollable side reactions and deleterious dendrite growth, which drastically compromise its cycle life and Coulombic efficiency (CE). To tackle these issues, a versatile electrolyte additive is reported that can regulate the solvation structure, adsorb on the Zn surface, and in situ generate a novel zincophilic‐microhydrophobic interphase to isolate the anode from the reactive water molecules. Benefiting from its triple effects on the water reactivity modulation, the Zn metal anode exhibits excellent reversibility with an ultra‐high average CE value of 99.92% at 5 mA cm−2 in the ZnSO4 electrolyte system, and the Zn||Zn symmetric cell with ethanesulfonamide additive achieves a long lifespan over 6000 h. The merits of ESA additives are further displayed in the Zn//MnO2 full cells and Zn ion hybrid capacitors, exhibiting excellent capacity retention of 81.60% at 5 C over 1000 cycles, and a 92.25% capacity retention over 50 000 cycles at 5 A g−1, respectively. What's more, the full cells exhibit outstanding stability of 100% capacity retention after 120 cycles at 0.1 C. Objective: To explore the relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients' attitude, subjective norms (SN), perceived behavioral control (PBC), behavioral intention (BI) and behavior associated with integrated treatment and preventive (ITP) services. Methods: A convenient sampling method was employed at a community health center in Nanjing, China between January and July 2022. The collected data were processed using Epidata 3.1, SPSS 26.0, and AMOS 24.0. Descriptive statistics and a structural equation model based on the theory of planned behavior (TPB) were used to explore the correlation between the study variables. Results: 430 participants were eventually included, with a response rate of 98.6%. The mean age was 72.50 ± 5.69 years. The TPB model proved to be suitable and explained 41% of the variance in the BI. Attitude (β = 0.289, P < 0.001), SN (β = 0.314, P < 0.001) and PBC (β = 0.261, P < 0.001) were the main predictors of BI, and the SN was the strongest. BI (β = 0.452, P < 0.001) and PBC (β = 0.452, P < 0.001) had similar direct effects on patients' behavior. Conclusion: The TPB model explained the behavioral variations associated with ITP services and provided a framework for developing targeted interventions and improving community-based ITP services for T2DM. To encourage patients to engage in desirable behaviors, interventions should focus on modifying patients' SN towards behavior associated with ITP services by promoting peer pressure and increasing the family's emphasis on health. Keystroke dynamics is a soft biometric based on the assumption that humans always type in uniquely characteristic manners. Previous works mainly focused on analyzing the key press or release events. Unlike these methods, we explored a novel visual modality of keystroke dynamics for human identification using a single RGB-D sensor. In order to verify this idea, we created a dataset dubbed KD-MultiModal, which contains 243.2 K frames of RGB images and depth images, obtained by recording a video of hand typing with a single RGB-D sensor. The dataset comprises RGB-D image sequences of 20 subjects (10 males and 10 females) typing sentences, and each subject typed around 20 sentences. In the task, only the hand and keyboard region contributed to the person identification, so we also propose methods of extracting Regions of Interest (RoIs) for each type of data. Unlike the data of the key press or release, our dataset not only captures the velocity of pressing and releasing different keys and the typing style of specific keys or combinations of keys, but also contains rich information on the hand shape and posture. To verify the validity of our proposed data, we adopted deep neural networks to learn distinguishing features from different data representations, including RGB-KD-Net, D-KD-Net, and RGBD-KD-Net. Simultaneously, the sequence of point clouds also can be obtained from depth images given the intrinsic parameters of the RGB-D sensor, so we also studied the performance of human identification based on the point clouds. Extensive experimental results showed that our idea works and the performance of the proposed method based on RGB-D images is the best, which achieved 99.44 % accuracy based on the unseen real-world data. Pontocerebellar hypoplasia type 2D (PCH2D) caused by SEPSECS gene mutations is very rare and only described in a few case reports. In this study, we analyzed the clinical features and imaging findings of these individuals, so as to provide references for the clinic. We reported a case of PCH2D caused by a new complex heterozygote mutation in SEPSECS gene, and reviewed the literatures to summarize the clinical features and imaging findings and compare the differences between early-onset patients (EOPs) and late-onset patients (LOPs). Of 23 PCH2D patients, 19 cases were early-onset and 4 cases were late-onset, with average ages of 4.1 ± 4.0 years and 21.8 ± 9.4 years, females were more prevalent (14/19). EOPs mainly distributed in Arab countries (10/14) and Finland (4/14), while LOPs in East Asia (3/3). EOPs develop severe initial symptoms at the average age of 4.1 ± 7.8 months or shortly after birth, while LOPs experienced mild developmental delay in infancy. Microcephaly (10/11), intellectual disability (10/11), decreased motor function (10/11), and spastic or dystonic quadriplegia (8/10) were the common clinical features of EOPs and LOPs. EOPs also presented with visual impairment (5/7), seizures (4/7), neonatal irritability/opisthotonus (3/7), tremors/myoclonus (3/7), dysmorphic features (3/7), and other symptoms. EOPs were characterized by cerebellar symptoms (4/4). Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed progressive cerebellar atrophy followed by less pronounced cerebral atrophy, and there was no pons atrophy in LOPs. Most patients of PCH2D were severe early-onset, and a few were late-onset with milder symptoms. The black-necked crane is the only species of crane that lives in the high-altitude region of the Tibet Plateau. At present, there is little research on viral diseases of the black-necked crane (Grus nigricollis). In this study, a viral metagenomic approach was employed to investigate the fecal virome of black-necked cranes in Saga County, Shigatse City, Tibet, China. The identified virus families carried by black-necked cranes mainly include Genomoviridae, Parvoviridae, and Picornaviridae. The percentages of sequence reads belonging to these three virus families were 1.6%, 3.1%, and 93.7%, respectively. Among them, one genome was characterized as a novel species in the genus Grusopivirus of the family Picornaviridae, four new parvovirus genomes were obtained and classified into four different novel species within the genus Chaphamaparvovirus of the subfamily Hamaparvovirinae, and four novel genomovirus genomes were also acquired and identified as members of three different species, including Gemykroznavirus haeme1, Gemycircularvirus ptero6, and Gemycircularvirus ptero10. All of these viruses were firstly detected in fecal samples of black-necked cranes. This study provides valuable information for understanding the viral community composition in the digestive tract of black-necked cranes in Tibet, which can be used for monitoring, preventing, and treating potential viral diseases in black-necked cranes. Nature fabricates hard functional materials from soft organic scaffolds that are mineralized. To enable an energy‐efficient locomotion of these creatures while maintaining their structural stability, nature often renders parts of these minerals porous. Unfortunately, methods to produce synthetic minerals with a similar degree of control over their multi length scale porous structure remain elusive. This level of control, however, would be required to design lightweight yet robust biominerals. Here, a room temperature process is presented that combines a localized mineralization with emulsion‐based 3D printing to form cm sized biominerals possessing pores whose diameters range from the 100 s of nm up to the mm length scale. The samples encompass up to 80 wt% of CaCO3 and display a specific compressive strength that is significantly higher than that of previously reported 3D printed porous biominerals and close to those of trabecular bones. The universality of this approach by forming different types of bioactive minerals, including calcite, aragonite, and brushite is demonstrated. The ability to 3D print these materials under benign conditions renders this energy‐efficient process well‐suited to construct cm‐sized lightweight yet load‐bearing structures that might find applications, for example, in the design of the next generation of flying or motile objects. Highly unsaturated fatty acids (HUFAs) are essential for mammalian health, development and growth. However, most mammals, including humans, are incapable of synthesizing n-6 and n-3 HUFAs. Fish can convert C18 unsaturated fatty acids into n-6 and n-3 HUFAs via fatty acid desaturase (Fads), in which Fads2 is a key enzyme in HUFA biosynthesis. The allo-tetraploid common carp theoretically encode two duplicated fads2 genes. The expression patterns and desaturase functions of these two homologous genes are still unknown. In this study, the full length of the fads2a and fads2b were identified in common carp (Cyprinus carpio). Expression analyses indicate that both genes were mainly expressed in the liver and the expression of fads2b is higher than fads2a at different developmental stages in carp embryos. Heterogenous expression and 3D docking analyses suggested that Fads2b demonstrated stronger ∆6 and ∆5 desaturase activities than Fads2a. The core promotor regions of fads2a and fads2b were characterized and found to have different potential transcriptional binding sites. These results revealed the same desaturase functions, but different activities of two homologues of fasd2 genes in common carp. Background: Conventional blood and stool tests are normally used for early screening of colorectal cancer (CRC) but the accuracy and efficiency remain to be improved. Recent findings suggest Fusobacterium nucleatum to be a biomarker for CRC. This study evaluated the role of F. nucleatum and developed CRC diagnostic models by combining F. nucleatum with fecal occult blood (FOB), transferrin (TRF), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen 19‐9 (CA19‐9), gender, and age. Materials and Methods: Candidates including 71 healthy individuals and 59 CRC patients were recruited. Abundance of F. nucleatum in stool or tissue samples was measured by quantitative real‐time PCR. CEA, CA19‐9, TRF, and FOB were measured in parallel. These biomarkers together with genders and ages were the seven parameters used to develop CRC diagnostic models. Ten different machine learning algorithms were tested to achieve the best performance. Results: Fecal F. nucleatum abundance was found significantly higher in CRC group compared to healthy group (p = 0.0005). Among the CRC patients, F. nucleatum abundance in tumor tissue was significantly higher than that in paracancerous tissue (p = 0.0087). CRC diagnostic models using different parameters were generated based on Logistic Regression algorithm, which showed good performance. The area under the curve (AUC) score of fecal F. nucleatum as the single diagnostic biomarker was 0.68 while the accuracy was 0.56. The diagnostic performance was obviously improved with the highest AUC (0.93) and accuracy (0.87) achieved when using all the 7 clinical parameters. The combination F. nucleatum + FOB + gender + age had the second highest AUC (0.92) and accuracy (0.85). A more utilitarian model using F. nucleatum + FOB showed relatively high AUC at 0.86 and accuracy at 0.81. Conclusions: F. nucleatum is valuable for CRC diagnosis. Combination of different clinical parameters could significantly improve CRC diagnostic performance. Objective: Real-world data (RWD) and real-world evidence (RWE) have been paid more and more attention in recent years. We aimed to evaluate the reporting quality of cohort studies using real-world data (RWD) published between 2013 and 2021 and analyze the possible factors. Methods: We conducted a comprehensive search in Medline and Embase through the OVID interface for cohort studies published from 2013 to 2021 on April 29, 2022. Studies aimed at comparing the effectiveness or safety of exposure factors in the real-world setting were included. The evaluation was based on the REporting of studies Conducted using Observational Routinely-collected health Data (RECORD) statement. Agreement for inclusion and evaluation was calculated using Cohen's kappa. Pearson chi-square test or Fisher's exact test and Mann-Whitney U test were used to analyze the possible factors, including the release of RECORD, journal IFs, and article citations. Bonferroni's correction was conducted for multiple comparisons. Interrupted time series analysis was performed to display the changes in report quality over time. Results: 187 articles were finally included. The mean ± SD of the percentage of adequately reported items in the 187 articles was 44.7 ± 14.3 with a range of 11.1–87%. Of 23 items, the adequate reporting rate of 10 items reached 50%, and the reporting rate of some vital items was inadequate. After Bonferroni's correction, the reporting of only one item significantly improved after the release of RECORD and there was no significant improvement in the overall report quality. For interrupted time series analysis, there were no significant changes in the slope (p = 0.42) and level (p = 0.12) of adequate reporting rate. The journal IFs and citations were respectively related to 2 areas and the former significantly higher in high-reporting quality articles. Conclusion: The endorsement of the RECORD cheklist was generally inadequate in cohort studies using RWD and has not improved in recent years. Atomic layer deposition (ALD) has become an essential technology in many areas. To better develop and use this technology, it is of the pivot to understand the surface chemistry during the ALD film growth. The growth of an ALD oxide film may also induce an electric dipole at the interface, which may be further tuned to modulate the flat band voltage for electronic device applications. To understand the associated surface chemistry and interface dipole formation process, we herein employ an in situ x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy technique to study the ALD growth of Al2O3, from trimethylaluminum and H2O, on the SiO x /Si surface. We find that an electric dipole is formed at the Al2O3/SiO x interface immediately after the first Al2O3 layer is deposited. We also observe persistent surface methyl groups in the H2O half-cycle during ALD, and the amount of the persistent methyls is particularly higher during the initial Al2O3 ALD growth, which suggests the formation of Si−CH3 on the surface. Background: Metschnikowia bicuspidata is a pathogenic yesst that can cause disease in many different economic aquatic animal species. In recent years, there was a new disease outbreak in ridgetail white prawn (Exopalaemon carinicauda) in coastal areas of Jiangsu Province China that was referred to as zombie disease by local farmers. The pathogen was first isolated and identified as M. bicuspidata. Although the pathogenicity and pathogenesis of this pathogen in other animals have been reported in some previous studies, research on its molecular mechanisms is still very limited. Therefore, a genome-wide study is necessary to better understand the physiological and pathogenic mechanisms of M. bicuspidata. Result: In this study, we obtained a pathogenic strain, MQ2101, of M. bicuspidata from diseased E. carinicauda and sequenced its whole genome. The size of the whole genome was 15.98 Mb, and it was assembled into 5 scaffolds. The genome contained 3934 coding genes, among which 3899 genes with biological functions were annotated in multiple underlying databases. In KOG database, 2627 genes were annotated, which were categorized into 25 classes including general function prediction only, posttranslational modification, protein turnover, chaperones, and signal transduction mechanisms. In KEGG database, 2493 genes were annotated, which were categorized into five classes, including cellular processes, environmental information processing, genetic information processing, metabolism and organismal systems. In GO database, 2893 genes were annotated, which were mainly classified in cell, cell part, cellular processes and metabolic processes. There were 1055 genes annotated in the PHI database, accounting for 26.81% of the total genome, among which 5 genes were directly related to pathogenicity (identity ≥ 50%), including hsp90, PacC, and PHO84. There were also some genes related to the activity of the yeast itself that could be targeted by antiyeast drugs. Analysis based on the DFVF database showed that strain MQ2101 contained 235 potential virulence genes. BLAST searches in the CAZy database showed that strain MQ2101 may have a more complex carbohydrate metabolism system than other yeasts of the same family. In addition, two gene clusters and 168 putative secretory proteins were predicted in strain MQ2101, and functional analysis showed that some of the secretory proteins may be directly involved in the pathogenesis of the strain. Gene family analysis with five other yeasts revealed that strain MQ2101 has 245 unique gene families, including 274 genes involved in pathogenicity that could serve as potential targets. Conclusion: Genome-wide analysis elucidated the pathogenicity-associated genes of M. bicuspidate while also revealing a complex metabolic mechanism and providing putative targets of action for the development of antiyeast drugs for this pathogen. The obtained whole-genome sequencing data provide an important theoretical basis for transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolic studies of M. bicuspidata and lay a foundation for defining its specific mechanism of host infestation. Aqueous zinc‐ion batteries (ZIBs) with metallic Zn anodes have emerged as promising candidates for large‐scale energy storage systems due to their inherent safety and competitive capacity. However, challenges of Zn anodes, including dendrite growth and side reactions, impede the commercialization of ZIBs. The regulation of the Zn/electrolyte interphase is a feasible method to achieve high‐performance ZIBs with prolonged lifespan and high reversibility. Considering the as‐made artificial interphase is the result of a combination of protection materials, protection mechanisms, and construction techniques, this review comprehensively summarizes the recent progress of interphase modulation and provides a systematic guideline for constructing ideal artificial layers. In addition to revealing the entanglement relationship between the failure behaviors of Zn anodes and timely concluding the emerging protection mechanisms for stable Zn/electrolyte interphase, this review also evaluates the constructing techniques in regard of commercialization, including engineering workflow, strength, shortcoming, applicable materials, and protection effect, aiming to pave the way to practical application. Finally, this review presents noteworthy points of ideal artificial layer. It is expected that this review can enlighten researchers to not only explore ideal interphases of Zn anodes for practical application, but also design other metal anodes in aqueous batteries with similar failure behaviors. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the change in posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) tension by directly measuring the pressure changes in the knee joint when the ligament was released or resected during total knee arthroplasty. Methods: We prospectively analyzed 54 patients who underwent primary total knee arthroplasty (67 knees) from October 2019 to January 2022. An electronic pressure sensor was used to measure the pressure changes in the medial and lateral chambers on PCL retention, recession or resection. Results: At 0°, 45°, 90° and 120° of flexion, the total pressure in the knee joint of PCL retention was significantly higher than with PCL recession, and even higher than PCL resection. PCL recession or resection affected knee joint extension, and the medial/lateral pressure in the knee joint decreased. Pressure in the lateral compartment showed no significant change during knee flexion, whereas pressure in the medial compartment was significantly decreased, which also led to a change in the ratios of the medial and lateral pressures in the knee joint. After PCL resection, the flexion gap (90°) increased significantly more than the extension (0°) gap, while 46 cases displayed the same change in the flexion and extension gaps after PCL resection of the 67 cases. Conclusion: The PCL retained partial function after tibial recession. PCL resection affected both the flexion and extension gaps; although the average flexion gap increased more than the extension gap, the change in most cases of these two gaps was the same. Improving osmotic stress tolerance is critical to help crops to thrive and maintain high yields in adverse environments. Here, we characterized a core subunit of the transport protein particle (TRAPP) complex, ZmBET5L1, in maize using knowledge‐driven data mining and genome editing. We found that ZmBET5L1 can interact with TRAPP I complex subunits and act as a tethering factor to mediate vesicle aggregation and targeting from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus. ZmBET5L1 knock‐out increased the primary root elongation rate under 20% polyethylene glycol‐simulated osmotic stress and the survival rate under drought stress compared to wild‐type seedlings. In addition, we found that ZmBET5L1 moderates PIN1 polar localization and auxin flow to maintain normal root growth. ZmBET5L1 knock‐out optimized auxin flow to the lateral side of the root and promoted its growth to generate a robust root, which may be related to improved osmotic stress tolerance. Together, these findings demonstrate that ZmBET5L1 inhibits primary root growth and decreases osmotic stress tolerance by regulating vesicle transport and auxin distribution. This study has improved our understanding of the role of tethering factors in response to abiotic stresses and identified desirable variants for breeding osmotic stress tolerance in maize. Aqueous zinc batteries (AZBs) are promising energy storage devices owing to their high safety, low cost, and environmental friendliness. However, energy density improvement and lifespan prolongation of AZBs are impeded by the poor reversibility of Zn anodes. Instead of focusing on restraining the water activity that has been widely discussed, this work reports a unique strategy to eliminate the side reactions, which is the simultaneous regulation of cation and anion fluxes by microporous material. The as‐synthesized protective layer possesses an excellent sieving ability to repel sulfate infiltration by channel effect and via the electric field, and homogenizes Zn ion flux to achieve a dendrite‐free morphology, which is confirmed by the electrochemical and theoretical investigations. The protected anode exhibits a long lifespan (2400 h), deep Zn plating/stripping, and high current tolerance (100 mA cm−2). As a result, the full battery achieves a capacity retention of 76.4% after 7500 cycles, and in the anode‐free configuration, a high energy density of 192.8 Wh kg−1 is observed, which is more than 50 times that of a full battery with a Zn foil anode. Programming the patterned magnetization profile on the magnetic elastomer can enable the magnetic soft robot to produce controlled deformation. But the magnetization profiles are usually unchangeable, which leads to the single function of magnetic soft robot. This paper presents a reprogrammable mangetic elastomer based on liquid-metal/NdFeB/Silicone composites. Liquid-metal/NdFeB functional groups wrapped in silicone matrix can realize repeated magnetization through thermal-assisted magnetic programming. By using several liquid metals (melting points <60 °C), we have manufactured composite magnetic elastomer with regulate-temperature at 15.7, 29.7, 41.5 and 47 °C, respectively. SEM and EDS results exhibits the elastomer's micromorphology and element content. The elstomer's magnetic properties are tested by the comprehensive physical property measurement system (PPMS). The moment–temperature (M–T) curve shows the material's moment jumps at the melt point of the liquid metal. And the moment–magnetic field (M–H) curves indicate that the elastomer exhibit hard and soft magnetic characteristics. At last, a hexagon-shape robot is manufactured and then programmed to two modals of grasping and standing. The experimental results verify the reprogrammability of the proposed composite elastomer. Composting is an efficient way of recycling wastes, serious mineralization will lead to loss of organic carbon components in the biodegradation process, which will affect the quality of composting products. Calcination technology was adopted to improve the ability of clay minerals to adsorb and retain organic carbon components, and was applied to chicken manure composting. Five treatments (control group (CK), calcined montmorillonite (M-), montmorillonite (M), calcined illite (I-) and illite (I)) were executed. The results indicated that calcined clay minerals significantly reduced organic carbon loss (CK: 57.22%, M-: 54.56%, M: 56.86%, I-: 52.39% and I: 56.08%) and most of them in the form of humic acids. Therefore, the properties of carbon components were more stable, and ultimately improved quality of final compost products. Meanwhile, the network complexity, interactions and contribution of core bacteria involved in the formation of organic carbon were enhanced in the calcined clay minerals treatments through microbial analysis. Moreover, a series of statistical informatics analysis verified that specific structure of calcined clay minerals could indeed retain organic carbon by enhancing role of core bacteria and physicochemical factors. Simulation studies show that the asymmetry stochastic volatility (ASV) models may infer erroneous correlation coefficients, due to their predetermined return-volatility specification. We propose identifying the correlation parameter by incorporating the ex-post volatility in the ASV framework. We obtain a significantly smaller magnitude in the estimated correlation coefficients between equity and volatility processes among major U.S. equity market indexes. Out-of-sample index return distribution forecasts demonstrate superior performance when jointly estimating the return and the ex-post volatility processes. In this paper, a fiber-based chromatic dispersion probe for simultaneous measurement of X-axis and Z-axis displacements with nanometric resolutions by using the full width at half maxima (FWHM) of the detected spectral signal has been proposed and demonstrated. For X-axis, FWHM is employed for indicating the X-axis displacement based on the fact that the FWHM remains almost constant with the varying Z-axis displacement of the fiber detector and shows a linear relationship with the X-axis displacement within a specific Z-axis displacement range. For the Z-axis, the linear relationship between the centroid wavelength λ of the detected spectral signal and the Z-axis displacement is employed for indicating the Z-axis displacement based on the fact that the sensitivity (slope of the λ-Z curve) is also linear with X-axis displacement within a certain X-axis displacement range. Theoretical and experimental investigations have verified the feasibility of the proposed chromatic dispersion probe, which yields X- and Z-axis measurement ranges of 2.3 μm and 15 μm and X- and Z-axis measurement resolutions of better than 25 nm and 50 nm, respectively. Experiments were further performed to evaluate the basic performance of the prototype probe and the maximum measurement errors were less than 10 nm and 60 nm for X- and Z-axis displacements, respectively. This paper presents a fiber-based chromatic dispersion probe for the simultaneous measurement of dual-axis absolute and relative displacement with nanometric resolutions. The proposed chromatic dispersion probe is based on optical dispersion. In the probe, the employed light beam is split into two sub-beams, and then the two sub-beams are made to pass through two optical paths with different optical settings where two identical single-mode fiber detectors are located at different defocused positions of the respective dispersive lenses. In this way, two spectral signals can be obtained to indicate the absolute displacement of each of the dual-axes. A signal processing algorithm is proposed to generate a normalized output wavelength that indicates the relative displacement of the dual-axis. With the proposed chromatic dispersion probe, the absolute and relative displacement measurements of the dual-axis can be realized simultaneously. Theoretical and experimental investigations reveal that the developed chromatic dispersion probe realizes an absolute measurement range and a measurement resolution of approximately 180 μm and 50 nm, respectively, for each axis. Most diploid freshwater and marine fish encode one elovl5 elongase, having substrate specificity and activities towards C18, C20 and C22 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs). The allo-tetraploid common carp is hypothesized to encode two duplicated elovl5 genes. How these two elovl5 genes adapt to coordinate the PUFA biosynthesis through elongase function and expression divergence requires elucidation. In this study, we obtained the full-length cDNA sequences of two elovl5 genes in common carp, named as elovl5a and elovl5b. Functional characterization showed that both enzymes had elongase activity towards C18, C20 and C22 PUFAs. Especially, the activities of these two enzymes towards C22 PUFAs ranged from 3.87% to 8.24%, higher than those in most freshwater and marine fish. The Elovl5a had higher elongase activities than Elovl5b towards seven substrates. The spatial-temporal expression showed that both genes co-transcribed in all tissues and development stages. However, the expression levels of elovl5b were significantly higher than those of elovl5a in all examined conditions, suggesting that elovl5b would be the dominantly expressed gene. These two genes had different potential transcriptional binding sites. These results revealed the complicated roles of elovl5 on PUFA synthesis in common carp. Plants absorb nitrogen from the soil using ammonium transporters (AMTs). Plants can precisely regulate AMT1;3 levels using sophisticated regulatory systems, ensuring adequate nitrogen uptake without hazardous ammonium production. Here, we demonstrated that ubiquitylation can contribute to AMT1;3 degradation under high ammonium stress. Using the ubiquitin site mutant AMT1;3K75R,K233R-EGFP, we demonstrated that the loss of ubiquitination affects the dynamic characteristics of AMT1;3 proteins on the plasma membrane and markedly inhibits the endocytosis of AMT1;3 proteins under high ammonium stress. AMT1;3K75R,K233R-EGFP plants also showed inhibition of protein degradation that targets the vesicular pathway after being exposed to high levels of ammonium. Our findings showed that the dynamic properties, endocytosis, and vesicle trafficking pathways of AMT1;3 proteins are altered in AMT1;3K75R,K233R-EGFP under high ammonium conditions. DC voltage detection of sub-modules is very important for the stability of cascaded multilevel converters. Operation and maintenance personnel need a detection algorithm to supplement the uncertainty and risk caused by the traditional redundancy scheme. This paper presented a DC voltage indirect estimation method based on current transformer. The method uses the AC side current value, as well as the sub-module equivalent circuit model and switching state to estimate the DC voltage of the sub-module of the cascade system. The estimation models are established and can be used to the sub-modules of three topologies, i.e., half-bridge, H bridge topology and clamp double sub-module. Simulation and experimental systems are built to testify the proposed method. The results showed that, when N = 3 or 12, the indirect detection model based on AC current met the requirements of detection accuracy within 1% under different calculation steps, and the sampling error had little influence on it. Background. Previous studies had shown that lncRNA HULC exhibited different effects in human cancers. However, the role of HULC was not reported in osteosarcoma. Hence, we designed this research to explore the function of HULC in osteosarcoma. Methods. Firstly, HULC expression was measured in osteosarcoma tissues and cells via the RT-qPCR assay. The protein expression was detected through western blot. Then, CCK-8 and Transwell assays were conducted to measure cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. Results. The expression of HULC was obviously higher in osteosarcoma tissues and cells compared with normal control. Moreover, cell proliferation, migration, and invasion were inhibited by HULC knockdown in osteosarcoma cells. HULC overexpression markedly increased osteosarcoma cell proliferation and tumor size in vivo. Furthermore, HULC increased the activity of AKT-PI3K-mTOR pathway by blocking PTEN in osteosarcoma cells. LY294002 inhibited the phosphorylation of AKT, mTOR, and PI3K. Overexpressing HULC enhanced cell migration and invasion of SAOS-2 cells and MG63 cells, while LY294002 reversed the effects. Conclusion. A multitrace surface integral equation (MT-SIE) solver is proposed to analyze electromagnetic field interactions on composite devices involving magnetized and nonmagnetized graphene sheets. The computation domain is decomposed into two subdomains: an exterior subdomain that represents the unbounded background medium where the device resides in an interior subdomain that represents the dielectric substrate. Resistive Robin transmission conditions (RRTCs) are formulated to describe the infinitesimally thin graphene sheet that partially covers the surface between the two subdomains. On the rest of this surface, traditional Robin transmission conditions (RTCs) are enforced. The electric and magnetic field equations are used as the governing equations in each subdomain. The governing equations of a subdomain are locally coupled to the governing equations of its neighbor using RRTCs and RTCs. The profession of early childhood education is often dismissed as unimportant or unworthy of respect. Preschool teachers’ occupational stigma consciousness has been shown to be associated with lower work engagement, but the mechanism of this association is unclear. Most research has focused on individual or organizational factors, with little consideration of individual-organization interactions. To address this shortcoming, we surveyed 1,672 preschool teachers in Henan Province, China, using the Occupational Stigma Consciousness Scale, Preschool Teacher Work Engagement Questionnaire, Connor‐Davidson Resilience Scale, and Perceived Organizational Support Scale. The results of regression-based analyses supported a moderated mediation model in which preschool teachers’ occupational stigma consciousness predicted lower work engagement through the mediating effect of low resilience. Preschool teachers’ perceived organizational support moderated this process by strengthening the positive association between resilience and work engagement. This study provides insight into the negative impact of occupational stigma consciousness can be mitigated by building resilience and giving organizational support, which has potential applications for the professional development of early childhood education teachers. [Display omitted] Calcium signaling abnormality in cardiomyocytes, as a key mechanism, is closely associated with developing heart failure. Fibroblast growth factor 13 (FGF13) demonstrates important regulatory roles in the heart, but its association with cardiac calcium signaling in heart failure remains unknown. This study aimed to investigate the role and mechanism of FGF13 on calcium mishandling in heart failure. Mice underwent transaortic constriction to establish a heart failure model, which showed decreased ejection fraction, fractional shortening, and contractility. FGF13 deficiency alleviated cardiac dysfunction. Heart failure reduces calcium transients in cardiomyocytes, which were alleviated by FGF13 deficiency. Meanwhile, FGF13 deficiency restored decreased Cav1.2 and Serca2α expression and activity in heart failure. Furthermore, FGF13 interacted with microtubules in the heart, and FGF13 deficiency inhibited the increase of microtubule stability during heart failure. Finally, in isoproterenol-stimulated FGF13 knockdown neonatal rat ventricular myocytes (NRVMs), wildtype FGF13 overexpression, but not FGF13 mutant, which lost the binding site of microtubules, promoted calcium transient abnormality aggravation and Cav1.2 downregulation compared with FGF13 knockdown group. Generally, FGF13 deficiency improves abnormal calcium signaling by inhibiting the increased microtubule stability in heart failure, indicating the important role of FGF13 in cardiac calcium homeostasis and providing new avenues for heart failure prevention and treatment. Background: Co-infection with HIV is a strong risk factor for cervical cancer development. It is unknown whether women with HIV in Guangxi, China are utilizing currently available cervical cancer screening services, what barriers they face, and if they are aware of their increased risk of developing cervical cancer. Methods: Using a cross-sectional design, we administered a survey to women with HIV aged 21–65 years from August to October 2019 in Guangxi, China. A 100-item survey was designed in English and translated into Chinese. We assessed knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs about cervical cancer and cervical cancer screening, identified potential barriers and facilitators of cervical cancer screening programs for women with HIV, and assessed potential risk factors for cervical cancer. Results: A total of 101 participants completed the survey. The median age of participants was 38 years (IQR 34.5–44 years). Forty-seven percent of the women had been screened for cervical cancer at least once. The mean score was 5.6 out of 9 (95% CI 5.3–6.0) on the knowledge about cervical cancer and screening and 6.3 out of 10 (95% CI 5.9–6.6) for cervical cancer risk factors, respectively. Facilitators of participating in cervical cancer screening included trust and openness to healthcare workers having conversations about female health concerns. Barriers identified in our study included knowledge gaps in cervical cancer risk awareness and cervical cancer screening awareness, including the lack of knowledge of available cervical cancer screening services. Women with HIV in Guangxi are under-screened for cervical cancer. Conclusion: When designing tailored cervical cancer screening programs for women with HIV in Guangxi, educational programs to address existing knowledge gaps will be needed to increase screening uptake in this high-risk population. Simple Summary: Many widely cultured freshwater fish species, such as common carp, belong to the Cyprinidae family. However, most cyprinids have numerous and complex intermuscular bones (IBs), resulting in an adverse effect on cyprinid fish meat processing and consumption. Numerous studies have been trying to understand the development mechanism of IBs and to identify the SNPs associated with the total IB number. However, the SNPs associated with different forms of IBs have been studied less thoroughly. The joint effects of the SNPs on IB development also remain poorly understood. The common carp has numerous geographical populations and domesticated strains, diversifying its phenotypes. The question of whether consensus IB-related SNPs or genes exist among multiple strains of common carp has also not yet been answered. Selective breeding of IB-reduced common carp has been hindered due to a lack of effective molecular markers. To answer these questions, we performed bulked segregant analysis (BSA) to detect the consensus SNPs in three strains. The consensus BSA-SNPs and the other SNPs in their flanking regions were validated in additional individuals. The SNPs associated with the frequency of different IB types were identified. We examined the joint effects of significant SNPs on the numbers of different types of IBs. The identified genetic markers may benefit future selective breeding and reduce the IB number in common carp. The allotetraploid common carp is one of the most important freshwater food fish. However, the IBs found in allotetraploid common carp increase the difficulty in fish meat processing and consumption. Although candidate genes associated with the total IB number have been identified, the SNPs associated with the numbers of the total IBs and different forms of IBs have not yet been identified, hindering the breeding of IB-reduced common carp. Herein, the numbers of different types of IBs in three common carp strains were measured. Using whole-genome resequencing and bulked segregant analysis in three pairs of IB-more and IB-less groups, we identified the consensus nonsynonymous SNPs in three strains of common carp. Screening the flanking regions of these SNPs led to the detection of other SNPs. Association study detected 21 SNPs significantly associated with the number of total IBs, epineural-IBs, and ten detailed types of IBs. We observed the joint effects of multiple SNPs on each associated IB number with an improved explained percentage of phenotypic variation. The resulting dataset provides a resource to understand the molecular mechanisms of IB development in different common carp strains. Objective: To investigate the incidence of primary gallbladder and biliary tract cancer, mortality and disability‐adjusted life years (DALY) of the global burden from 1990 to 2017. Methods: Data of 195 countries and territories from 1990 to 2017 were extracted from the Global Health Data Exchange. The age‐standardized incidence rate (ASIR) and estimated annual percentage change (EAPC) were employed to quantify trends in the incidence of primary gallbladder and biliary tract cancer. The age‐standardized death rate (ASDR), age‐standardized DALY and their corresponding EAPC were used to evaluate mortality trends. Results: The global incidence of primary gallbladder and biliary tract cancer rose by 75.9% from 119 900 cases in 1990 to 210 900 cases in 2017. The highest ASIR was observed in Chile (10.8 per 100 000 in 2017), followed by Japan and South Korea. Regions with the highest social development index (SDI) quintile also had the highest death cases associated with primary gallbladder and biliary tract cancer in 2017 (60 100, 95% UI 55 800‐62 700). A high body mass index (BMI) was found to be closely related to age‐standardized deaths and age‐standardized DALY in most of the regions analyzed. Conclusions: Primary gallbladder and biliary tract cancer remains a serious threat to global public health, especially in high‐SDI countries. A number of Ce–La–Fe/γ-Al 2 O 3 catalysts were prepared by impregnation and microwave hydrothermal heating based on the ratio of Ce, La, and Fe in natural bastnäsite to examine the synergistic relationship between Ce, La, and Fe in natural bastnäsite and its effects on ammonia selective catalytic reduction (NH 3 -SCR). The results demonstrated that an increase in Fe species is beneficial to the denitration performance of catalysts with a Ce:La:Fe mole ratio of 1:0.6:0.12, thus providing high NO conversion (>95%) at 350 °C. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and Raman spectroscopy results confirmed the formation of a solid solution between Ce, La, and Fe in the catalysts. The BET isotherms and NH 3 -TPD demonstrated that the addition of Fe increased the surface area and strengthened the surface acidity of Lewis acid sites. XPS and in situ DRIFTS indicated that electron transfer occurred between Fe3+/Fe2+ and Ce4+/Ce3+ redox cycles in the catalyst, thereby improving the adsorption and activation ability of NO and NH 3. NO species were adsorbed on the catalysts in the form of monodentate nitrate, and then monodentate nitrate was oxidized to bidentate nitrate. Developing CePO 4 -based NH 3 -SCR catalysts with high NO x conversion, N 2 selectivity, and SO 2 tolerance at low temperatures is challenging. Analyzing the atomic-level surface structure of these catalysts is particularly important. Hence, we conducted a combined computational and experimental study to design the surface structure of Mo x Ce 1- x PO 4 catalysts, corroborate the reaction performance and structural sensitivity, and investigate the relationship between active sites and structural performance at the atomic level. DFT calculations were used to systematically investigate the NH 3 and NO adsorption capacity of the Mo-doped CePO 4 solid solution structure model. The rationality of using the Mo-doped CePO 4 solid solution structure as a catalyst was further supported by DFT calculation data and experimental results from BET, XRD, Raman, SEM, TEM, HR-TEM, NH 3 -TPD, H 2 -TPR, XPS and in situ DRIFTS. The source of the excellent intrinsic NH 3 -SCR activity of the Mo-doped CePO 4 solid solution structure is disclosed. The role of the Mo dopant in the Mo-doped CePO 4 solid solution as an SO 2 trapping site to protect the catalytic active site from sulfation is discussed from a molecular perspective. Livestock manure is known to be a significant reservoir of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs), posing a major threat to human health and animal safety. ARGs are found in both intracellular and extracellular DNA fractions. However, there has been no comprehensive analysis of these fractions in commercial organic fertilizers (COFs). The present study conducted a systematic survey of the profiles of intracellular ARGs (iARGs) and extracellular ARGs (eARGs) and their contributing factor in COFs in Northern China. Results showed that the ARG diversity in COFs (i.e., 57 iARGs and 53 eARGs) was significantly lower than that in cow dung (i.e., 68 iARGs and 69 eARGs). The total abundance of iARGs and eARGs decreased by 85.7% and 75.8%, respectively, after compost processing, and there were no significant differences between iARGs and eARGs in COFs (P > 0.05). Notably, the relative abundance of Campilobacterota decreased significantly (99.1–100.0%) after composting, while that of Actinobacteriota and Firmicutes increased by 21.1% and 29.7%, respectively, becoming the dominant bacteria in COFs. Co-occurrence analysis showed that microorganisms and mobile genetic elements (MGEs) were more closely related to eARGs than iARGs in COFs. And structural equation models (SEMs) further verified that microbial community was an essential factor regulating iARGs and eARGs variation in COFs, with a direct influence (λ = 0.74 and 0.62, P < 0.01), following by similar effects of MGEs (λ = 0.59 and 0.43, P < 0.05). These findings indicate the need to separate eARGs and iARGs when assessing the risk of dissemination and during removal management in the environment. As a member of the nebulin protein family and a structural protein of cytoskeleton, NEBL plays an important role in cardiac diseases. Recently, literature have reported the involvement of NEBL in the occurrence and development of various cancers except clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). In this study, we found that mRNA and protein of NEBL are downregulated remarkably in ccRCC tissues based on both the TCGA database and clinical samples we collected. The areas under curve values of NEBL analyzed based on the TCGA database, qRT-PCR and IHC results were 0.9376, 0.9733 and 0.9807, respectively. The lower mRNA level of NEBL was associated with worse outcomes in ccRCC patients. When overexpressing NEBL in ccRCC cell lines, the proliferation, migration and invasion of ccRCC cells were suppressed significantly, suggesting a tumor suppressor role of NEBL. In addition, we identified that NEBL is closely related to epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), thereby reducing the motility of ccRCC cells. Furthermore, the lower expression of NEBL was correlated with ccRCC patients with distant organ metastasis. In summary, we firstly described the aberrant expression of NEBL and revealed its tumor suppressor role in ccRCC. Doctors' prescribing behaviors impact both medical expenses and health resources. This study aims to identify the significant determinants of prescribing behaviors of doctors, which could potentially provide theoretical evidence on how to improve prescribing decisions. A multistage, stratified, cluster, random sampling method was employed in this survey. Data were collected from Jiangsu and Shanxi provinces in China in 2018. A total of 444 doctors in public hospitals completed the self‐administered questionnaires. A structural equation model based on the theory of planned behavior (TPB) was adopted for analysis. On the basis of the TPB, we constructed a model of doctors' prescribing behaviors, which explained the subjective and objective reasons for irrational prescribing behavior. Behavioral attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control could positively influence the actual behaviors, of which subjective norms impact prescribing behaviors the most. Employing the TPB helped in identifying determinants of prescribing behaviors from a new perspective. More significant policy changes and government support are required to help improve appropriate prescribing behaviors and ultimately make better prescribing decisions. Background and Aim: Video capsule endoscopy (VCE) is a first‐line procedure for the diagnosis of obscure gastrointestinal bleeding (OGIB). The opinions on the timing for such diagnostic evaluation remain unclear. We aimed to explore the role of early VCE in OGIB patients. Methods: A total of 997 patients that underwent VCE at Renji Hospital and Nagoya University from May 15, 2002, to December 28, 2016, were included in this study. We matched patients that underwent early VCE within 14 days of bleeding (early group, n = 678) to patients that did not (late group, n = 319) via 1:1 propensity score matching (PSM). We then compared VCE diagnostic rates and the prevalence of post‐VCE rebleeding in patients with initial negative VCE findings within 1 year between these groups before and after PSM. Results: Following PSM, early VCE was associated with a significantly higher rate of OGIB diagnosis (56.4% vs 45.5%, P = 0.001) and with a significantly lower incidence of rebleeding within 1 year following treatment (24.7% vs 36.7%, P = 0.041). In univariate and multivariate analyses, VCE timing (odds ratio 0.648; 95% confidence interval 0.496–0.847, P = 0.001 and odds ratio 0.666; 95% confidence interval 0.496–0.894, P = 0.007, respectively) was found to be linked with a higher rate of positive findings. Conclusion: Early VCE can improve the reliability of OGIB diagnosis while also reducing rates of post‐VCE rebleeding. Background. Hypertension is a serious global public health problem, and its incidence increases with age. Research has suggested that multiple antihypertensive prescriptions may be harmful to older individuals with hypertension. Baduanjin, a widely practiced physical activity in China, has been used as an adjuvant therapy to antihypertensive treatment in older individuals with hypertension. Therefore, the aim of the current study is to investigate whether Baduanjin exercise could reduce the need for antihypertensive medications in older patients. Methods. This single-center, open, randomized controlled trial will be conducted in China. Seventy eligible participants will be randomly assigned to either the 12-week Baduanjin exercise group or the 12-week aerobic exercise group (5 times a week), at a ratio of 1 : 1. The primary outcome will include the proportion of participants who reduce their antihypertensive medications. The secondary outcomes will include the changes in mean office systolic and diastolic pressure, 24-h ambulatory blood pressure, health-related quality of life (based on SF-36), and gut microbiota composition. Discussion. The results of this study will provide powerful evidence for the use of Baduanjin as an adjuvant therapy for antihypertensive medication reduction in older people with hypertension and therefore find the best treatment for hypertension. Purpose: The application of the anatomical parameters of the contralateral hip joint to guide the preoperative template of the affected side relies on the bilateral hip symmetry. We investigated the bilateral hip symmetry and range of anatomical variations by measurement and comparison of bilateral hip anatomical parameters. Methods: This study included 224 patients (448 hips) who were diagnosed with osteoarthritis (OA) and avascular necrosis (AVN) of the femur head, and underwent bilateral primary total hip arthroplasty (THA) in our hospital from January 2012 to August 2020. Imaging data included 224 patients X-ray and 30 CT data at the end of the cohort. Anatomical parameters, including the acetabular abduction angle and trochanteric height, were measured using the Noble method. Postoperative measurements included stem size, difference of leg length and offset. Results: Except for the isthmus width, there were no significant differences in the anatomical morphology of the hip joint. Among the demographic factors, there was a correlation between body weight and NSA. Among various anatomical parameters, a correlation was present between medullary cavity widths of T + 20, T, and T − 20. The difference in the use of stem size is not due to the morphological difference of bilateral medullary cavity, but due to the different of 1- or 2-stage surgery. Conclusion: Bilateral symmetry was present among the patients with normal morphology of the hip medullary cavity, theoretically confirming the feasibility of structural reconstruction of the hip joint using the hip joint on the uninjured side. Additionally, the difference in the morphology of the hip medullary cavity is not present in a single plane but is synergistically affected by multiple adjacent planes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Soft tissue balancing is essential for the success of total knee arthroplasty (TKA) and is mainly dependent on surgeon-defined assessment (SDA) or a gap-balancer (GB). However, an electronic sensor has been developed to objectively measure the gap pressure. This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of soft tissue balancing using SDA and GB compared with a sensor. Methods: Forty-eight patients undergoing TKA (60 knees) were prospectively enrolled. Soft tissue balancing was sequentially performed using SDA, a GB, and an electronic sensor. We compared the SDA, GB, and sensor data to calculate the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy at 0°, 45°, 90°, and 120° flexion. Cumulative summation (CUSUM) analysis was performed to assess the surgeon's performance during the sensor introductory phase. Results: The sensitivity of SDA was 63.3%, 68.3%, 80.0%, and 80.0% at 0°, 45°, 90°, and 120°, respectively. The accuracy of the GB compared with sensor data was 76.7% and 71.7% at 0° and 90°, respectively. Cohen's kappa coefficient for the accuracy of the GB was 0.406 at 0° (moderate agreement) and 0.227 at 90° (fair agreement). The CUSUM 0° line achieved good prior performance at case 45, CUSUM 90° and 120° showed a trend toward good prior performance, while CUSUM 45° reached poor prior performance at case 8. Conclusion: SDA was a poor predictor of knee balance. GB improved the accuracy of soft tissue balancing, but was still less accurate than the sensor, particularly for unbalanced knees.
