The addition of Ca2MgSi2O7 to CaSiO3 bioceramics was investigated in order to modify the dissolution rate of CaSiO3. A series of CaSiO3–xCa2MgSi2O7 composite ceramics with x values of 2, 5, 10, and 20 wt% have been successfully obtained. The effects of Ca2MgSi2O7 addition on CaSiO3–Ca2MgSi2O7 ceramics degradation behavior and apatite formation were comprehensively investigated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy/energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). The results showed that the dissolution rate of the achieve system ceramics gradually decreased in succession, and the apatite-forming was delayed by the addition of Ca2MgSi2O7. The suitable dissolution rate and apatite-forming ability of CaSiO3–Ca2MgSi2O7 bioceramics can be expected, indicating that the addition of Ca2MgSi2O7 to CaSiO3 bioceramics may be a promising route for modifying the dissolution behavior and apatite-forming ability of CaSiO3 bioceramics. OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to determine the evolution of sacubitril-valsartan research and analyze the publications quantitatively and qualitatively. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We used the bibliometric method and a combination of CiteSpace_6.1.6 and VOSviewer_1.6.18 to identify top authors, countries, institutions, co-cited articles, co-cited journals, keywords, and trends. This study prioritized key aspects in the existing global research on Entresto (Sacubitril/Valsartan) to assess our depth of knowledge in this field and identify potential insights. The objective was to generate a reference for the utilization of the "angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor" (ARNI). RESULTS: From 2008 to 2022, citations of sacubitril-valsartan showed an upward trend. VOSviewer keyword analysis of 3,408 publications identified 624 keywords and divided them into seven different clusters. The clustered network was constructed based on 1,191 references cited by 3,408 publications that met the terms, where the clustered network of sacubitril-valsartan was presented. These publications can be regarded as fundamental to Entresto's research. Analysis of co-cited reference clusters showed that other than Entresto's novel application in other diseases, the new combination with other medication or mechanical assistance therapies against heart failure was Entresto's latest focus. Analysis of citation bursts showed that the rank of the top 25 keywords, according to the chronological sequence, marked Entresto's research entering a new era of exploring the extended application in other diseases and novel combinations with other diverse therapies. CONCLUSIONS: We found that emerging new mechanisms in sacubitril-valsartan therapy intended for more targets in the pathogenesis of specific diseases will be the focus of further studies. If there is a fuzzy relation ... between two spaces U and V, the fuzzy approximations in both spaces based on ... are widely studied, and they basically reflect only the influence from one space to another. In this paper, on each space of U and V, two new fuzzy relations are derived from ..., a positive low-value relation and a conservative high-value relation, to reflect the interaction and feedback between the two spaces. So, the fuzzy approximations based on them can reflect the combination of the action and the reaction from one space to another. Therefore, two spaces U and V are closely accompanied, and (U, V, ...) is a whole, so it is called a fuzzy accompanied approximation space (FAAS). In an FAAS, the properties of the fuzzy approximation models on each space are studied, the relationships between fuzzy approximation models of two spaces are researched, and examples to show how the approximation operator models in the FAAS to solve practical problems from multiple perspectives are also illustrated. Spherical (sample A), chain-like (sample B), and flake-like (sample C) cobalt powders are synthesized on a large scale through simple chemical liquid reduction method. Based on uniformly dispersing samples into a paraffin matrix, morphology-dependent electromagnetic responses in GHz range, including permittivity and permeability, are investigated for these three cobalt powders in the microwave frequency of 2-18 GHz. The calculated reflection loss (RL) indicates as-prepared samples have potential application as a candidate for microwave absorption. The maximum RL of sample A is -15.28 dB at 12.85 GHz with a matching thickness of 2.5 mm. The maximum RL of sample B is -28.05 dB at 5.74 GHz corresponding to a thickness of 2.0 mm, and the maximum RL of sample C is -41.17 dB at 5.10 GHz with a thickness of 2.5 mm. The high degradation rate limits the clinical applications of calcium silicate bioceramics. In this paper, Ca2MgSi2O7 and Ca2ZnSi2O7 were successfully prepared using sol-gel method by incorporating magnesium and zinc into Ca–Si-based system. The results showed that the obtained ceramics presented the macroporous structure and the incorporation of zinc obviously reduced the samples specific surface area. Compared with CaSiO3 (24.8%), the weight loss of Ca2ZnSi2O7 was the lowest (8.4%) and Ca2MgSi2O7 was the middle (12.1%) after 28 days soaking in Tris-HCl buffers. Meanwhile, the formation of apatite was also confirmed after soaking in SBF. Through above investigations, the incorporation of magnesium and zinc should be one of the effective ways to adjust the degradation and apatite formation of Ca–Si-based bioceramics, which would meet the various clinical demands. In this paper, we reported the microwave performance of three-dimensional hierarchical cobalt dendrites dispersed in the paraffin matrix (70 wt. %) in the frequency range of 2-18 GHz. The cobalt dendrites presented multiple dielectric relaxation and magnetic resonances, contributing to broaden the microwave absorption bandwidth. The calculated reflection loss shows that the cobalt dendrites have optimal microwave absorption. The maximum reflection loss reaches –58.60 dB at 13.75 GHz with a matching thickness of 1.4 mm. Meanwhile, an effective absorption bandwidth of 5.03 GHz from 11.34 to 16.37 GHz was obtained, possessing a better microwave absorption than earlier reported materials. OBJECTIVE: Long non-coding RNA LINC00173 (LINC00173) has been shown to facilitate the progression of a number of malignancies. In this study, we aimed to investigate the function of LINC00173 on prostate cancer (PCa) and discover the potential regulatory mechanism. PATIENTS AND METHODS: RT-PCR was used to determine the levels of LINC00173, miR-338- 3p and Rab25 in PCa patients and cell lines. The clinical significance of LINC00173 was statistically analyzed in 124 PCa patients. CCK8, colony formation, transwell, scratch wound, Ethynyldeoxyuridine (EdU) assays and flow cytometry assays were used to detect the proliferation, apoptosis, invasion and migration of PCa cells. The mechanism of LINC00173 action was explored through bioinformatics, RNA pulldown assays and Luciferase reporter assays. RESULTS: We observed that the expression of LINC00173 and Rab25 was distinctly upregulated in both PCa specimens and cell lines, while miR338-3p expression was significantly down-regulated. High LINC00173 expression was associated with Gleason score, preoperative PSA level and reduced patient survivals. Functional assays revealed that knockdown of LINC00173 suppressed the proliferation, migration and invasion of PCa cells, and promoted apoptosis. Mechanistically, LINC00173 acted as a competitive endogenous RNA in PCa and increased Rab25 expressions via sponging miR-338-3p. Moreover, LINC00173 promoted PCa progression by interacting with miR-338-3p and Rab25. CONCLUSIONS: Our findings, for the first time, identified a novel PCa-related lncRNA, LINC00173 which might serve as an oncogene in PCa. A three-dimensional (3D) weight function method is employed to calculate stress intensity factors of quarter-elliptical corner cracks at a semi-circular notch in the newly developed single-edge notch bend specimen. Corner cracks covering a wide range of geometrical parameters under pin-loading and remote tension conditions are analysed. Stress intensity factors from the 3D weight function analysis agree well with ABAQUS-Franc3D finite element results. An engineering similitude approach previously developed for the half-elliptical surface crack in single-edge notch bend specimen is also applied to the present corner crack configuration.
