In this paper, we are concerned with the initial boundary values problem associated to the compressible viscous non-resistive and heat-conducting magnetohydrodynamic flow, where the magnetic field is vertical. More precisely, by exploiting the intrinsic structure of the system and introducing several new unknown quantities, we overcome the difficulty stemming from the lack of dissipation for density and magnetic field, and prove the global well-posedness of strong solutions in the framework of Soboles spaces $H^3$. In addition, we also get the exponential decay for this non-resistive system. We report the first experimental observation of dissipation-driven coherent quantum many-body oscillation, and this oscillation is manifested as the coherent exchange of atoms between the thermal and the condensate components in a three-dimensional partially condensed Bose gas. Firstly, we observe that the dissipation leads to two different atom loss rates between the thermal and the condensate components, such that the thermal fraction increases as dissipation time increases. Therefore, this dissipation process serves as a tool to uniformly ramp up the system's temperature without introducing extra density excitation. Subsequently, a coherent pair exchange of atoms between the thermal and the condensate components occurs, resulting in coherent oscillation of atom numbers in both components. This oscillation, permanently embedded in the atom loss process, is revealed clearly when we inset a duration of dissipation-free evolution into the entire dynamics, manifested as an oscillation of total atom number at the end. Finally, we also present a theoretical calculation to support this physical mechanism, which simultaneously includes dissipation, interaction, finite temperature, and harmonic trap effects. Dissipation is unavoidable in quantum systems. It usually induces decoherences and changes quantum correlations. To access the information of strongly correlated quantum matters, one has to overcome or suppress dissipation to extract out the underlying quantum phenomena. However, here we find an opposite effect that dissipation can be utilized as a powerful tool to probe the intrinsic correlations of quantum many-body systems. Applying highly-controllable dissipation in ultracold atomic systems, we observe a universal dissipative dynamics in strongly correlated one-dimensional quantum gases. The total particle number of this system follows a universal stretched-exponential decay, and the stretched exponent measures the anomalous dimension of the spectral function, a critical exponent characterizing strong quantum fluctuations of this system. This method could have broad applications in detecting strongly correlated features, including spin-charge separations and Fermi arcs in quantum materials.

We propose a scheme to realize bosonic fractional quantum Hall conductance in shaken honeycomb optical lattices. This scheme does not require a very flat band, and the necessary long-range interaction relies on s-wave scattering, which is common in many ultracold-atom experiments. By filling the lattice at 1/4 with identical bosons under Feshbach resonance, two degenerate many-body ground states share one Chern number of 1 and correspond exactly to the fractional quantum Hall conductance of 1/2. Meanwhile, we prove that the fractional quantum Hall state can be prepared by adiabatically turning on the lattice shaking, and the fractional conductance is robust in the shaken lattice. This provides an easy way to initialize and prepare the fractional quantum Hall states in ultracold-atom platforms, and it paves the way to investigate and simulate strongly correlated quantum matters with degenerate quantum gas.

The local existence of smooth solutions to the inviscid Hall-MHD system has been obtained since Chae, Degond and Liu [Ann. Inst. H. Poincar\'e Anal. Non Lin\'eaire, {31} (2014), 555--565]. However, as we known, how to construct the global small solutions to the inviscid Hall-MHD system is still an open problem. In this paper, we consider the convergence problem of Schr\"odinger equation. Firstly, we show the almost everywhere pointwise convergence of Schr\"odinger equation in Fourier-Lebesgue spaces $\hat{H}^{\frac{1}{p},\frac{p}{2}}(\mathbb{R})(4\leq p<\infty),$ $\hat{H}^{\frac{3 s_{1}}{p},\frac{2p}{3}}(\mathbb{R}^2)(s_{1}>\frac{1}{3},3\leq p<\infty),$ $\hat{H}^{\frac{2 s_{1}}{p},p}(\mathbb{R}^n)(s_{1}>\frac{n}{2(n+1)},2\leq p<\infty,n\geq3)$ with rough data. Secondly, we show that the maximal function estimate related to one Schr\"odinger equation can fail with data in $\hat{H}^{s,\frac{p}{2}}(\mathbb{R})(s<\frac{1}{p})$. Finally, we show the stochastic continuity of Schr\"odinger equation with random data in $\hat{L}^{r}(\mathbb{R}^n)(2\leq r<\infty)$ almost surely. We propose a novel entanglement-creation scheme in a multi-atom ensemble, named entanglement amplification, which converts unentangled states into entangled states and amplifies less-entangled ones to maximally-entangled Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states. The scheme starts with a multi-atom ensemble initialized in a coherent spin state. By shifting the energy of a particular Dicke state, we break the Hilbert space of the ensemble into two isolated subspaces to tear the coherent spin state into two components so that entanglement is introduced. After that, we utilize the isolated subspaces to further enhance the entanglement by coherently separating the two components. By single-particle Rabi drivings on atoms in a high-finesse optical cavity illuminated by a single-frequency light, 2000-atom GHZ states can be created with a fidelity above 80% in an experimentally achievable system, making resources of ensembles at Heisenberg limit practically available for quantum metrology., Comment: 6 pages and 4 figures
