The development of photothermal agents (PTAs) with robust photostability and high photothermal conversion efficiency is of great importance for cancer photothermal therapy. Herein, a novel PTA was created using two-dimensional intermetallic PtSnBi nanoplates (NPs), which demonstrated excellent photostability and biocompatibility with a high photothermal conversion efficiency of ~61% after PEGylation. More importantly, PtSnBi NPs could be employed as photoacoustic imaging contrast agents for tumor visualization due to their strong absorbance in the NIR range. In addition, both in vitro and in vivo experiments confirmed that PtSnBi NPs had a good photothermal efficacy under NIR laser irradiation. Therefore, the remarkable therapeutic characteristics of PtSnBi NPs make them make them a most promising candidate for cancer theranostics.

Stable and sensitive ctDNA biosensing in complex biological fluid is highly important but still remains a challenge. Herein, we develop a spherical nucleic acid reporter-based cascade CRISPR/Cas12a amplifier with improved stability and sensitivity (5 orders of magnitude).

For large amount of patent texts, how to extract their keywords in an unsupervised way is a very important problem. In existing methods, only the own information of patent texts is analyzed. In this study, an improved TextRank model is proposed, in which prior public knowledge is effectively utilized. Specifically, two following points are first considered: (1) a TextRank network is constructed for each patent text, (2) a prior knowledge network is constructed based on public dictionary data, in which network edges represent the prior interpretation relationship among all dictionary words in dictionary entries. Then, an improved node rank value evaluation formula is designed for TextRank networks of patent texts, in which prior interpretation information in prior knowledge network are introduced. Finally, patent keywords can be extracted by finding top-k node words with higher node rank values. In our experiments, patent text clustering task is used to examine the performance of proposed method, wherein several comparison experiments are executed. Corresponding results demonstrate that, new method can markedly obtain better performance than existing methods for patent keywords extraction task in an unsupervised way.

This study uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to study the understanding of China’s university teachers (hereinafter referred to as teachers) on the preparation period of entrepreneurship. Through questionnaire survey, factor analysis and fuzzy evaluation, we get the classification of the factors of entrepreneurship by teachers, including education factors, social factors, and policy factors.Teachers believe that the most important primary influencing factors of entrepreneurship formation is founders’ fundamentals, the most important secondary influencing factors is social factors. In addition, the main impact of teacher entrepreneurship awareness on entrepreneurship education is as follows: in the competition and practice of entrepreneurial projects, on-campus entrepreneurial teachers mainly participate as assistants and they are quite passive. It may be because that their participation motivation is departed from the purpose of entrepreneurship. Off-campus entrepreneurship tutors focus more on the ability of the social entrepreneurial team to marketize the products or services.

Purpose Entrepreneurial competence plays a decisive role in entrepreneurship success. To promote the employment of college students and accelerate economic growth through entrepreneurial activities, the Chinese government and universities encourage the use of multiple inputs to boost holistic entrepreneurship education and training. This study aims to assesses the entrepreneurial competence of college students by analysing the effects of entrepreneurship education and policy implementation in China. Design/methodology/approach The quantitative approach considered a large sample of 12,269 students, who participated in entrepreneurship education in Chinese “double-first-class” universities, to construct a theoretical model of their entrepreneurial competence. Entrepreneurship competition was introduced as a mediating variable in this model. Findings This study revealed that college students develop entrepreneurial competence by participating in entrepreneurship competitions unlike students who participate in regular entrepreneurship education. Additionally, there was a significant difference in the measured impact of entrepreneurship policy between students who participated in entrepreneurship competitions and those who did not. Originality/value The effects of the implementation of entrepreneurship education and policy were studied using a quantitative design. Additionally, this study highlights the effect of entrepreneurship competitions with empirical evidence from China, and contributes to the discussion of entrepreneurship education at schools and entrepreneurship policy for policymakers.

COVID-19 has made the entire society pay more attention to medical students training. Medicine development is inseparable from the spirit of innovation, focusing on cultivating medical students' innovative awareness and improving entrepreneurship education performance, which has an irreplaceable effect on both the students themselves and the society. This study is based on the ridge regression model to study the driving factors of the entrepreneurship education performance of medical students. Compared with traditional multiple regression, it can improve the consistency of parameter estimation and obtain more realistic results. Based on a large sample of empirical survey data of 24,677 medical students in China, this study analyzed the driving factors of the entrepreneurship education performance of medical students and found that medical students of different genders have differences in entrepreneurship education performance; the digital economy impacts entrepreneurship education performance of medical students; entrepreneurship course, entrepreneurship faculty, entrepreneurship competition, entrepreneurship practice, and entrepreneurship policy have a driving effect on the entrepreneurship education performance of medical students. Meanwhile, the impact of entrepreneurship policy is the most obvious, followed by entrepreneurship practice and entrepreneurship competition, followed by entrepreneurship course and entrepreneurship faculty.

Entrepreneurs face more pressure and challenges than ordinary workers, which has a serious impact on their physical and mental health. Therefore, the research focus has gradually shifted from objective indicators of entrepreneurial performance to exploration of entrepreneurs’ subjective well-being. However, previous studies were often limited to a net effect analysis of a single dimension under symmetric thinking in quantitative research. Therefore, this study uses fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) to analyze the configuration path of entrepreneurs’ physical and mental health at the individual level, social capital at the collective level, and subjective well-being from the perspective of configuration. The sample was of 279 effective entrepreneurs from the 2017 China General Social Survey (CGSS). Four types of entrepreneurs were found to improve their high well-being profiles: optimistic efficiency-driven, trust efficiency-driven, strong psychology-driven, and weak relationship-driven. Research shows that the interaction between physical and mental health and social capital jointly affects the subjective well-being of entrepreneurs. The research findings reinforce the need for attention to the physical and mental health of entrepreneurs, which are conducive to their active participation in social life. Additionally, establishing weak relationship-oriented interpersonal networks and accumulating social resources to further achieve higher subjective well-being is required.

A comprehensive evaluation is important for the sustainable development of entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities. Specifically, evaluating entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities from the perspective of teachers, as stakeholders of entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, can provide a basis for decision making to improve the quality of entrepreneurship education. Using the improved entropy–TOPSIS method, this study selects 35 indicators from five aspects, namely, curriculum systems, organizational leadership, faculty construction, teaching management, and an institutional guarantee, to establish a sustainable and comprehensive evaluation framework for entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities. Survey data from a questionnaire of college teachers in 11 provinces (cities) in China’s Yangtze River economic zone are used. The objective is to propose a framework that enables a comprehensive evaluation of the sustainability of entrepreneurship education and to develop a new evaluation method that highlights the challenges in evaluating the sustainability of entrepreneurship education, including the selection and effective measurement of the evaluation criteria. The study provides a scientific basis and support for decision making on the optimal reform of entrepreneurship education, faculty allocation, and education methods in Chinese universities and contributes to the realization of the goal of sustainable development of entrepreneurship education in universities.

The volatile and changing healthcare landscape, heavily influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic and other contemporary crises, poses challenges to the sustainable development of medical education, and integrating innovation and entrepreneurship into medical education is the avenue by which to address the current and future medical challenges. Medical student entrepreneurship education (MSEE) contributes to the individual and social sustainable development of students in terms of their future careers. To investigate the effect of teacher entrepreneurship on MSEE, a hypothesis model of MSEE that includes teachers’ entrepreneurial competence (TEC), teachers’ entrepreneurial behaviors (TEB), and co-creation strategy (CCS) was constructed on the basis of symbolic interactionism. A total of 714 samples were collected from entrepreneurial teachers in Chinese medical universities for quantitative analysis. This study confirmed our hypothesis that TEC and TEB have a positive and statistically significant direct impact on MSEE. As demonstrated in the mediation effect test, when CCS was added as the mediating variable, TEC and TEB had a statistically significant indirect effect on MSEE. With empirical evidence from China, the study provided a new perspective for deepening the research on MSEE and laid the foundation for interdisciplinary research on medical education and entrepreneurship education. The findings contribute to entrepreneurial learning and pedagogical practices in medical education for the sustainable development of medical students.

The recent COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the global job market, with increasing unemployment rates leading to an unstable social situation that has affected college students’ job prospects. This situation has drawn the attention of the Chinese government and universities to the promotion of entrepreneurship. The present study used field theory to analyze the entrepreneurial intentions of 4926 college students in Hangzhou, an emerging global digital city. It was found that college students who had received entrepreneurship education were more likely to insist on entrepreneurship, while the native environmental field had a significant positive effect on students’ sustainable entrepreneurial intention (SEI). These findings provide a good reference for universities to promote entrepreneurial intentions among college students and provide advice on the construction of entrepreneurship education fields.

This paper explores the impact of different types of social entrepreneurship education cultivation models on students’ opinion on social entrepreneurship, defines and classifies the emerging social entrepreneurship cultivation models in colleges and universities, and confirms the performance difference between the teacher–student co-entrepreneurship (TSCE) cultivation model and the traditional cultivation model through quantitative research. Chi-square analysis and the structural equation model are used to verify the following two conclusions: in the process of promoting the acceptance of social entrepreneurship study, the TSCE cultivation model is more effective than the traditional cultivation model; and the collaborative co-entrepreneurship cultivation model is more conducive to the deepening of practical learning than the employment co-entrepreneurship cultivation model. The research results will help colleges and universities to redesign the training process of social entrepreneurship skills, and then provide help for college students to achieve more adequate entrepreneurial preparation.

Background Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a significant public health issue among married rural-to-urban migrant workers, the largest group of internal migrants in China. This study aims to explore the prevalence, patterns and associated factors of intimate partner violence against married rural-to-urban migrant workers in eastern China. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted in Zhejiang province in China between July 2015 and April 2016, and a total of 1,744 married rural-to-urban migrant workers ultimately took part in the study. Conflict Tactics Scales and several short demographic questions were applied. Data were principally analyzed with logistic regression. Results The majority of married rural-to-urban migrant workers were middle-aged couples with a low education level and a relatively long-term duration of migration in fixed migrant cities. Nearly 45% of married rural-to-urban migrant workers were experienced at least one incident of intimate partner violence during the past 12 months. The joint occurrence of multiple forms of violence is the most commonly reported features of intimate partner violence, especially three overlapping patterns of intimate partner violence. Some individual (education and age), relationship (marital satisfaction, premarital sex and extramarital affairs) and social (duration of migration and number of migratory cities) factors of the respondents, were negatively or positively associated with intimate partner violence against married rural-to-urban migrant workers. Conclusion The results indicated that one out of two married rural-to-urban migrant workers experienced at least one incident of intimate partner violence during the past 12 months in China. Accordingly, there is an obvious demand of intervention and treatment activities to prevent and reduce the occurrence of intimate partner violence among the millions of migrant workers in China. In front of the conventional loudspeaker array, the sound pressure level of uniform distribution in a linear listening area is constrained by frequency range. In the previous papers, we have realized SPL distribution evenly from 200 to 500 Hz by controlling the phase of linear loudspeakers. However, with the increasing of frequency, we have to consider about the directivity of single loudspeaker. In this paper, we present a new method to achieve uniform sound pressure level distribution from 600 to 1000Hz by designing the angle of placement and the phase of loudspeaker array which is composed of directional speakers. The simulation results show that the SPLs on the test listening line are basically uniform from 600 to 1000Hz, which demonstrate that the improvement is effective.

Directivity of traditional linear loudspeaker arrays leads to a nonuniform distribution of the sound pressure level (SPL) in a listening area. This paper presents a novel scheme using linear phased loudspeaker array to uniform the distribution and let more listeners have the same perception. By designing a specific directivity pattern and obtaining the phase weighs of the excitation using the genetic algorithm so as to accurately control the pattern details, uniform distribution of SPL in a linear listening area is achieved. The experimental result shows that the SPLs on the listening test line range from 83dB to 83.7dB and are basically uniform, demonstrating that the scheme proposal is reasonable and effective.
