Abstract

A dual-loop current control is discussed for LCL-type shunt active power filters (APFs), where inverter-side current feedback and point of common coupling (PCC) voltage feedforward both provide active damping (AD) effects for LCL resonance. However, two ADs are equivalently applied to different elements of LCL filter with narrow damping boundaries, which causes less robustness against grid impedance variation. Hence, this paper has presented a comprehensive approach to strengthen the system robustness against grid impedance variation. On the basis of phase compensated resonant unit, a delay-compensation scheme is firstly proposed to extend the damping boundary of inverter-side current feedback up to almost Nyquist frequency ( $f_{s}/2$ ). Theory analysis considering PCC voltage feedforward indicates that the control system can keep robust to grid impedance when the initial LCL resonance frequency falls between $f_{s}/3$ and the extended damping boundary. Moreover, a typical weighted proportional-resonant feedforward scheme is suggested to prevent high-frequency resonant units from inducing system instability under a large grid impedance. We finally validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach through experiments.

Abstract

With the power system reform and the increase of distributed energy penetration, effective dispatch of distributed energy faces opportunities and challenges. Traditionally, the centralized power transaction mode has high maintenance cost, low efficiency and untimely settlement. Therefore, it is hard to adapt to the high-frequency and small-scale distributed energy trading scenarios. To this end, this paper mainly proposes a distributed power trading method based on blockchain considering security constraints. The paper first reviews the development history of blockchain technology, and explores the theory of blockchain technology. At the same time, it combines the analysis of distributed energy features and summarizes some requirements for building a distributed energy trading market. Then the mechanism and model of distributed power trading considering security constraints are constructed. Finally, a distributed power trading method based on blockchain is proposed to ensure the transparency of transactions, and to provide smart contracts for distributed power multilateral transactions. Through the example of the Ethereum blockchain, the distributed power trading method based on blockchain proposed in this paper can realize the over-limit correction of power flow and the multilateral trading of power, and realize the digital management of electric energy.

Abstract

Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a minimally invasive technique used to treat liver tumors. The current study presents the case of a patient with hepatocellular carcinoma who suffered from post-operative pericardial effusion following RFA treatment. We hypothesize that RFA thermal conduction may damage the diaphragm and pericardium, leading to local edema in the pericardium. RFA is a minimally invasive technique, however, adequate preparatory work must be performed prior to surgery, including a comprehensive assessment of the patient. During surgery, the location and extent of the region to receive RFA must be determined precisely in order to reduce the range of damage and to avoid post-operative complications. This study describes a case of pericardial effusion caused by RFA of liver cancer. We analyzed the causes and preventive measures for pericardial effusion in order to contribute to the prevention pericardial effusion that is complicated by RFA of liver cancer.
