Pure anatase, pure rutile and the mixed TiO2 crystals with different amounts of rutile and anatase were prepared by a hydrothermal method using Ti (OBu)4 as starting material. The effect of anions on crystal phase and morphology of TiO2 synthesized by the hydrothermal method was investigated, and the relevant mechanism was also discussed. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) results indicate that Cl- ion was in favor of the formation of rutile, while NO3- and CH3COO- were beneficial for the formation of anatase. The hydrothermal conditions have significant effects on the phase component, morphology, and particle size of obtained titania products. Additionally, mixed TiO2 crystals with different amounts of rutile and anatase could be prepared by adjusting the reaction conditions, such as the concentration of Cl- ion, hydrothermal time, the amount of citric acid and the concentration of tetrabutyl titanate.

This article puts forward the design of wire rope tension detection system, and emphatically expounds how to design experiment device to simulate the actual movements of jacks. In the experimental process, the adjustable rheostat is altered to change current value, to simulate the output of sensors. Through breakpoint debugging function, every export of program is verified. The comparison between actual output and program output proves the correctness of synchronization algorithms. Technological aspects like measurement system, electrical system and computer communication are verified as well.

First principles calculations of the total energy of Mg2Si as a function of unit cell volume have been carried out for the cubic anti-fluorite (Fm3m) structure, the orthorhombic phase with anti-cotunnite (Pnma) structure and the hexagonal phase with Ni2In-type (P63/mmc) structure on the basis of density functional theory (DFT). All these calculations are performed with the CRYSTAL06 program package. In agreement with experiment, we also obtained the sequence of high-pressure phases for Mg2Si as: anti-fluorite → anti-cotunnite → Ni2In-type. Several structural properties (equilibrium lattice constant, bulk modulus, etc.) of the anti-fluorite structure have been calculated, which are also in agreement with the previous experimental results.

The aim of this study was to investigate the pancreas anatomy and surgical procedure for harvesting pancreas for islet isolation while performing pancreatectomy to induce diabetes in rhesus monkeys.The necropsy was performed in three cadaveric monkeys. Two monkeys underwent the total pancreatectomy and four underwent partial pancreatectomy (70-75%).The greater omentum without ligament to transverse colon, the cystic artery arising from the proper hepatic artery and the branches supplying the paries posterior gastricus from the splenic artery were observed. For pancreatectomy, resected pancreas can be used for islet isolation. Diabetes was not induced in the monkeys undergoing partial pancreatectomy (70-75%).Pancreas anatomy in rhesus monkeys is not the same as in human. Diabetes can be induced in rhesus monkeys by total but not partial pancreatectomy (70-75%). Resected pancreas can be used for islet isolation while performing pancreatectomy to induce diabetes.

The deformation and stress in-situ monitoring plan of representative section of Wuhan-Guangzhou railway passenger dedicated line in China was introduced. The monitored compressions of piles and soil between piles in different depth were analyzed. Then deformation development trends of piles and soil among piles in CFG pile composite foundation was investigated following the construction processes of railway subgrade, namely, filling, rest of loading, surcharge precompression, unloading surcharge, and so on. Based on the tested vertical stress both of CFG piles and soil among piles, their developing trends were investigated for every construction phase, and the pile-soil stress ratio was researched too. In-situ monitored data shows that: (1) Under the filling height 6.2m, the tested settlement of composite foundation is 15.67mm, which proves CFG pile composite foundation is effective on control settlement of subgrade. (2) The compression of pile is not equal to that of soil among piles during subgrade construction, and their difference reduce gradually as a result of stress adjust in composite foundation, with the pile-soil stress ratio tend to one fixed value.

A dynamical model to study the accumulation of ATM is proposed in this work. The ATM can accumulate either with low level of DSBs and presence of NBS1 proteins in cells, or with high level of DSBs and absence of NBS1. Both the two ways trigger the cell damage repair system. The interaction in p53 networks responding to DNA damage is discovered in many researches, but the mechanism of initiating oscillation remains unclear. We examine a model shows that the ATM-NBS1 feedback loop exhibits bistability. The bistability has essential roles in the mechanism of initiate oscillation.

Treatment of LEW rats before transplantation with BN blood cells preincubated with LEW-anti-BN serum resulted in prolonged BN kidney graft survival (untreated, 8 ± 0.4 days; pretreated, 124 ± 36). The serum of pretreated animals contains a factor which suppresses T cell proliferation against donor antigens. This effect was not mediated by antiidiotypic antibodies because it was reproduced in a donor-unrelated system. The serum and IgG of pretreated animals also suppressed the humoral immune response. As for T cells, the antibody-suppressive effect was not donor-restricted. A broadly reactive anti-immunoglobulin (anti-B cell) autoantibody was found in the IgG fraction of immunized animals. The mediation of immunosuppression by broadly reactive anti-B and T cell autoantibodies induced by the immunization with antibody-coated blood cells is discussed.

This study is an extension of our previous report that alloimmunization produces a serum factor that suppresses the lymphocytotoxic antibody response. The experiments presented herein show that: (1) serum and IgG of pretreated rats contain an antibody directed against the constant region of IgG; (2) the anti-IgG has strong anti-Fc-gamma and weak anti-Fab activity; (3) the antibody also reacts with IgM; (4) the antiimmunoglobulin is an autoantibody; and (5) the antiimmunoglobulin suppresses the primary B cell response in vitro.

To demonstrate whether anti-IgG autoantibodies of different isotypes and specificities play a role in kidney transplantation, pretransplant sera of recipients (a) with well-functioning grafts (n = 40); (b) with reversible rejection episodes that were treated successfully (n = 63); and (c) with irreversible graft rejection (n = 40) were tested for four different anti-IgG autoantibody activities. A protective effect of IgG-anti-F(ab)2 gamma antibodies on graft survival was observed (p less than 0.01). High pretransplant IgG-anti-Fc gamma activity was found to be associated with a low kidney graft survival rate (p less than 0.02). Pretransplant IgM-anti-F(ab)2 gamma and IgM-anti-Fc gamma activities showed no effect on kidney graft outcome.

The authors present a simple and inexpensive method for fabricating a stable superhydrophobic engineering material surface using aluminum alloy and a suitable aqueous solution and time to control the surface roughness, which has a large water contact angle (>150°) and a large water sliding angle (>90°). The as-prepared surface can be large-scale produced and used in industry quickly, such as a barrier material, self-cleaning material, and lubricating material. This finding will enhance further understanding of the wettability of solid surfaces with special surface morphologies.
