- Abstract
This research study aims to find out the research productivity of the Journal of Education & Humanities Research (JEHR) from 2016 to 2020. The present study also finds the frequency of productivity, author collaboration, paper length, most cited papers, and most productive authors and most productive departments and universities. The present research finds the 107 research articles have been contributed by University faculty members. The highest number of papers has been published 44 in 2018 and 20 papers were published in 2017. The current study finds the vol.5 and vol.6. Contributed 21 and 23 research articles respectively. This present study identifies those 46 two authors and 30 authors were counted in three. The authors identified the degree of collaboration was 0.87. The study reveals the length of the paper where the majority of the 45 range of 11-15 and 23 were range of 16-20. The most productive author was Dr.Abdul Nasir Kaizai from the institute of education and Research with 7 papers ranked 1st. the paper declared the most productive department was an institute of education and Research with 26 research articles. This study determines the most productive institution were SBKWU, Quetta, and Hamdard Univerity Karachi with 6 papers each.

- Abstract
The prime purpose of the study is to investigate the concept of social media; the impact of social media, the importance of social media, and the issues of using social media in libraries. The present study was based on a qualitative research method. The relevant data has been accessed and retrieved from google.com and Google scholars. The data has been reviewed according to the set of research questions. The research findings revealed that there is a massive impact of social media on library sources and services. Social media are very important for libraries to promote their services and sources. On the other hand, the libraries are facing too many issues which are creating problems in the adoption of social media in the libraries. It is obvious that social media have great potential to reach library customers and it helps libraries to provide up to date and timing information to their customers. It would be better to resolve all the issues before launching social media in the libraries.

4. Research Productivity of Library Philosophy and Practice during the Period of COVID 19

- Abstract
The present research purpose is to investigate the publishing trends of LPP during the COVID-19 from 2020 to 2021. The quantitative research design and survey method have been used to retrieve data from the website of LPP with the full-text article. The collected data has been analyzed using quantification tools. The parameters were set for this study are the frequency of publication growth, author’s collaborations, degree of author collaboration, papers length, and most productive regions. The data revealed 860 research papers were collected during the COVID-19 era. Where 844 papers were published in 2020 and 16 were published in 2021 as per retrieved data from the LPP database. The length of papers has confirmed with 290(33.72%) with a range of 16-20 pages. The degree of collaboration was analyzed that is 0.76. The present study shows the author collaboration where two authors was in majority that is 380(44.18%). The data shows the most productive region was India with 389 ranked 1st and Nigeria ranked 2nd with 212 research papers during the COVID-19.

5. Use of Social Media among Research Scholars for scholarly communication: Study of Research scholars of University of Balochistan, Quetta, Pakistan

- Abstract
The aim of the study is to find the use of social media among research scholars. The survey method was used to collect data from the respondents. A quantitative research design was deployed to complete this study. A structured questionnaire was designed to collect the data from the chosen population using Google Docs online. The finding of the study shows most of the respondents were male with 76% and female were 24%. 37% of the respondents were having M.Phil. and MS and age range 30 to 40 from 36%. The disciplines were concern where 22% of them were from management sciences. The finding further revealed that most of the research scholars accessed WhatsApp frequently with 21% and it determines the positive impact of using social media with 66%. It is also found that the majority of the research scholars use social media “to participate in discussions” with (m: 1.3176) and the major factor of using social media by research scholars “ease in use with different tools “with (m: 1.3446). The research scholars are facing issues and challenges where “Wi-Fi issue” with (m: 1.3176). The higher authority should resolve these issues and make scholarly communication better for research scholars at future concern

6. Attitudes of Female Librarians towards the use of Social Media (WhatsApp): A study of Balochistan, Pakistan.

- Abstract
Purpose: the Prime objective of this research is to examine the attitudes of Female Librarians towards the (SM) use of WhatsApp. Design/methodology/approach: Quantitative research design and survey method were used where data have been collected using an online Google doc survey. A total of 31Female Librarians have participated in this study. All the participants were using WhatsApp and have created their own WhatsApp group. The collected data has been analyzed using SPSS and MS excel. Findings of the study: the findings of the study revealed the majority of the Female Librarians were with 97% were having a degree of MLIS only 3% of them were having a degree of M.Phil. The majority of the female Librarians' age was between 26-30years with 63% .the research found that most of them were Librarians by designations with 81%. The study found that the female librarians were very well aware of WhatsApp. This study revealed the “development of LIS Pakistan” with (m.1.5484). The findings of the study revealed that female librarians were using Whatsapp to deliver “reference service” (m.1.4839). study findings found that all of them using WhatsApp for different purposes. The respondents answered the massive benefits of WhatsApp but on the other hand, they are facing issues while using WhatsApp with mostly “Disconnect” with (m.1.3871). Social implications: The study's findings suggest that WhatsApp groups might be used as virtual venues for library professionals to share knowledge with their peers and friends. This social media platform assists librarians in quickly promoting their library's programs and resources. Limitation of the study The present study was limited to the Female Librarians who are working in Colleges Libraries of Balochistan. Originality/value – The study's findings revealed that using WhatsApp groups to exchange news, opinions, and knowledge among LIS professionals can be beneficial. The Present was carried outtofindouttheproductivityofNigerianauthorstolibrary philosophy and practice from 2008 to 2013.the objectives of the study were to set to disclose. The Parameters were set for this study includes to find out the frequency of publications, authors' collaboration,paperslength, references, most cited papers,andmost productive authors. The results revealed that the total number of papers has been contributed to LPP that is 226. The most number of research papers was published in 2010with76(33.62%) and the least papers were published in 2011with13(5.75%). 114(50.44%) were single authors and the least number of papers were written by more than four authorswith1(0.44%).asfarasthelengthof the paper was concerned that the majority of the paper length 6-10with116(51.32%) and 13(5.75%)paperslengthwere1-5 pages. The totalreferenceswerefoundthatis4140 and most of the references were found in 2010with1189(28.71%) and fewer references were found in 2011with237(5.72%). The most cited paper was “Application of ICTs in Nigerian Secondary Schools” with 197 citations. The most productiveauthorswereidentifiedthatisDikeAgah, Chimezie Patric Uzubgu and Akobuiridy Dugahwith 5 research papers each.

This research study aims to find out the research productivity of Nigerian and Indian authors to the library philosophy and practice from 2008 to 2013. The present study also finds the frequency of productivity, author collaboration,paperslength, most cited papers, and most references as well as most productive authors. The present research finds the 226 research articles have been contributed by Nigerian authors and 193 papers have been contributed by Indian authors. The highest number of papers has been written by Nigerian authors was 76 in 2010 and from the Indian 60 papers were contributed in 2013. This present study identifies those 114 single authors from Nigeria and 80 from India. 116 papers from Nigerian authors those range 6-10 pages while 57 from India. The total numbers of references were used by Nigerian authors those were 4140 whileIndianwas used 3243 references from 2008 to 2013. The most productive authors S.Thanuskodi from India who wrote 09 papers and Dike Agah from Nigeria have contributed only 5 papers. The most cited papers were retrieved from Nigerian author with 197 citations while 82 citations were received from India.

This research study aims to find out the research productivity of Nigerian authors and Pakistani authors to the library philosophy and practice from 2008 to 2013. The present research finds the 226 research articles have been contributed by Nigerian authors and 67 papers have been contributed by Pakistani authors. The highest number of papers has been written by Nigerian authors was 76 in 2010 and from Pakistan 18 papers were contributed in 2013. This present study identifies those 114 single authors from Nigeria and 18 from Pakistan. 116papersformNigerianauthor those range 6-10 pages while 18 from Pakistan. The total numbers of references were used by Nigerian authors those were 4140 while Pakistan was used 1506 references from 2008 to 2013. The most productive authors Rubina Bhatti from Pakistan who wrote 18 papers and Dike Agah from Nigeria has contributed only 5 papers. The most cited papers were retrieved from Nigerian author with 197 citations while 91 citations were received from Pakistan were top-cited research papers.

10. Perception and use of WhatsApp among Library Professionals: A Study of Pakistan

- Abstract
Purpose: the aim of the research is to investigate the use and perception of WhatsApp among LIS professionals in Pakistan. Design/methodology/approach: quantitative research was adopted for this study and data have been collected using an online Google doc survey. A total of 115 participants have taken part in this study. All the participants were using WhatsApp and joined the LIS professionals group. The collected data has been analyzed using SPSS and MS excel. Findings of the study: the findings of the study revealed the majority of the respondents were male with 92(80%) and most of them have a degree of MLS (48%). The majority of the respondent's age was between 21-30age. The study found that the most shared information among the LIS professionals in Pakistan. The findings of the study revealed the majority of the respondents are Librarians with 61%. All the respondents show their opinion about the effectiveness of WhatsApp and all of them using what Sapp for different purposes. The respondents answered the massive benefits of WhatsApp but on the other hand, they are facing issues while using WhatsApp. Social implications: the implication of the research implies that WhatsApp groups considered as virtual platforms that enables library professionals to share information among their peers and friends. This social media helps the library professionals to promote their library services and sources promptly. Originality/value – the finding of the study revealed that using WhatsApp groups can be helpful to share news, views and information among LIS professionals. They also adopt this medium to promote their library services. The present study investigated the essential aspects of WhatsApp use among Library professionals. The outcomes of the research would be beneficial for Librarians, information scientists, and LIS professionals of Pakistan and beyond.

11. Research Productivity of LIS Women of Pakistan to the Library Philosophy and Practice: A Bibliometric study from 2008 to 2020

- Abstract
The present research purpose is to investigate the LIS women of Pakistan to the LPP from 2008 to 2020. The quantitative research design and survey method have been used to retrieve data from the website of LPP with the full-text articles. The collected data has been analyzed using quantification tools. The parameters were set for this study is the frequency of publication growth, author’s collaborations, degree of author collaboration, papers length, and most productive regions, most productive authors, as well as references, were used in the contribution of Pakistani LIS women. The data revealed 83 research articles were retrieved from 2008 to 2020 where 18 papers were published in 2018 and 13 were published in 2011. The collaboration of authors has confirmed with 32(38.55%) were written by two authors and 25(30.12%) were written by three authors. The range of papers has confirmed that the 37(44.57%) were a range of 11-15 pages and 20(30.12%) were a range of 16-20 pages. The degree of collaboration was examined that is 0.73. The present study shows the most productive authors were Rubina Bhatti with 26 research papers ranked 1st and the University of Bahawalpur was the most productive university with 42 papers. The data shows that 1867 references were retrieved from the written paper by LIS women of Pakistan during the studied period.
