15. Mobile Service-Based Cooperative Scheduling for High-Mobility Vehicular Networks

Abstract

This paper investigates the downlink scheduling for relay-aided high-mobility vehicular networks, where the vehicles with good vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) links are employed as cooperative relay nodes to help the ones with poor V2I links forward information via vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) links. In existing works, instantaneous achievable information rate was widely adopted to perform the link scheduling, but it is not efficient for vehicular networks, especially for high-mobility scenarios. Different from them, in this paper, we introduce the mobile service to describe the mobile link capacity of vehicular networks and then we propose a mobile service based relaying scheduling (MSRS) for high mobility vehicular networks. In order to explore the system information transmission performance limit, we formulate an optimization problem to maximize the mobile service amount of MSRS by jointly scheduling the V2I and V2V links. Since it is a combinational optimization problem which is too complex to solve, we design an efficient algorithm with low-complexity for it, where Sort-then-Select, Hungarian algorithm and Bisection search are employed. Simulation results demonstrate that our proposed MSRS is able to achieve the optimal results with an optimal approximation ratio larger than 96.5%. It is also shown that our proposed MSRS is much more efficient for high-mobility vehicular systems, which can improve the system average throughput with increment of 3.63% compared with existing instantaneous achievable information rate based scheduling method, and with 15% increment compared with traditional non-cooperation scheduling method, respectively., Comment: 11 pages, 10 figures, submitted to IEEE Journal

Abstract

In this paper, channel resource allocation problem for LEO mobile satellite systems is investigated and a new dynamic channel resource allocation scheme is proposed based on differential game. Optimal channel resource allocated to each satellite beams are formulated as Nash equilibrium. It is proved that optimal channel resource allocation can be achieved and the differential game based scheme is applicable and acceptable. Abstract

With the development of vehicles towards intelligence and connectivity, vehicular data is diversifying and growing dramatically. A task allocation model and algorithm for heterogeneous Intelligent Connected Vehicle (ICV) applications are proposed for the dispersed computing network composed of heterogeneous task vehicles and Network Computing Points (NCPs). Considering the amount of task data and the idle resources of NCPs, a computing resource scheduling model for NCPs is established. Taking the heterogeneous task execution delay threshold as a constraint, the optimization problem is described as the problem of maximizing the utilization of computing resources by NCPs. The proposed problem is proven to be NP-hard by using the method of reduction to a 0–1 knapsack problem. A many-to-many matching algorithm based on resource preferences is proposed. The algorithm first establishes the mutual preference lists based on the adaptability of the task requirements and the resources provided by NCPs. This enables the filtering out of un-schedulable NCPs in the initial stage of matching, reducing the solution space dimension. To solve the matching problem between ICVs and NCPs, a new many-to-many matching algorithm is proposed to obtain a unique and stable optimal matching result. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can improve the resource utilization of NCPs by an average of 9.6% compared to the reference scheme, and the total performance can be improved by up to 15.9%. Abstract

At present, energy storage in industrial and commercial scenarios has problems such as poor protection levels, flexible deployment, and poor battery performance. Aiming at the pain points and storage application scenarios of industrial and commercial energy, this paper proposes liquid cooling solutions. In this paper, the box structure was first studied to optimize the structure, and based on the liquid cooling technology route, the realization of an industrial and commercial energy storage thermal management scheme for the integrated cabinet was studied to ensure that the temperature between the cabinets was consistent and reduce the system capacity loss caused by the liquid-cooled battery module was inconsistent. The industrial and commercial energy storage integrated cabinet comprehensively considers the flexible deployment of the system, enhances the protection level of the cabinet, and the structural strength of the cabinet, and improves the temperature balance characteristics of the battery module in the cabinet.
