Comprehensive Summary: Owing to their distinctive optical and physical properties, organic‐inorganic hybrid perovskite materials have gained significant attention in the field of electronic devices, especially solar cells. The achievement of high‐performance solar cells hinges upon the utilization of top‐notch perovskite thin films. Nevertheless, the fabrication process involving solutions and the polycrystalline nature of perovskite result in the emergence of numerous defects within the perovskite films, consequently exerting a deleterious influence on the overall performance and stability of the devices. Improving the performance and stability of perovskite solar cells by additive engineering to suppress/passivate defects is a viable approach, which involves hydrogen bond interactions in these device engineering processes. This review explores the intrinsic hydrogen bonds in methylammonium and formamidium lead triiodide, while also considering cation rotations, phase transitions, and stability. Moreover, the review classifies additives into distinct categories, including organic small molecules, polymers, nanodots, classical salts, ionic liquids, and molten salts. The various forms and characterization techniques of hydrogen bonds are discussed, as well as their potential synergistic effects in conjunction with other chemical interactions. Furthermore, this review offers insights into the potential utilization of hydrogen bonds to further enhance the performance and stability of devices. However, the use of liquid electrolytes led to device instability. Subsequently, a number of scientists have innovated the preparation ground process. The typical broad absorption features have enabled halide perovskite to be a promising candidate of the next generational solar cell materials. However, the fundamental properties, upon which the photoelectric performance of perovskite device is based, are currently still not clear. Herein, the photovoltaic efficiencies in perovskite films with various thicknesses have been investigated to reveal a direct correlation between internal structure factors, such as crystal orientation, grain size, and photoelectric performance of perovskite films. It is found that the photovoltaic efficiency of perovskite films, especially with the optimal thickness around 300 nm, is significantly increased, which can be ascribed to the improved carrier transport properties resulting from the preferred crystal structure. When the film thickness diverges from 300 nm, the extra charge recombination with decreasing mobility leads to the reduction of photovoltaic efficiency again in perovskite solar cells. These results demonstrate crystal structure as one of the decisive roles in device properties, which are helpful to improve photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Recently, perovskite solar cells with high photovoltaic performance based on methylammonium lead halide have attracted great interest due to the superior physical properties of the perovskite optical absorption layer. Here, we investigate the interface carrier transport properties of CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 film by applying the reported treatment with methylamine gas, to reveal the possible mechanism of high performance perovskite-sensitized solar cell results. It is found that the crystal structure and surface morphology are effectively improved by the room-temperature repair of methylamine atmosphere. The preferred 110 orientation results in a slightly larger band gap, which may contribute to the better energy level matching and carrier transport. Further investigations on relaxation time and electron mobility confirm the significantly enhanced carrier diffusion length, revealing the important role of optimized crystallization on charge transport properties, which may be helpful to seek high-powered perovskite solar cells by optimizing the perovskite synthetic process.

Objective: To perform genetic analysis in 5 patients with blepharophimosis-ptosis-epicanthus inversus syndrome (BPES) and refine the genotype-phenotype correlation., Methods: G-band karyotyping, fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH), SNP array, PCR and sequencing techniques were performed to one patient with BPES and mental retardation and 4 only with BPES., Results: Patient 1 with mental retardation carried a 9.4 Mb heterozygous deletion in chromosome 3q22.1-q23 including FOXL2 gene; Both patient 2 and 3 carried a c.704delG heterozygous mutation of FOXL2, while they were assigned to the different clinical type from those reported previously. Patient 3 was assigned to type II BPES; No mutation of FOXL2 was detected in patient 4 and 5., Conclusions: There might be the gene(s) responsible for mental retardation within chromosome 3q22.1-q23. It was indicated that the mutation c.704delG in FOXL2 led to a truncated protein is associated with both type I and II of BPES.
