[Objective]Disconnector is a key equipment in rail transit traction power supply system. With the development of intelligent switch equipment technology and the increasing demand for intelligent operation and maintenance management of power supply catenary, it is necessary to conduct research and analysis on the overall intelligence and visualization of catenary switch equipment. [Method]The application status of visual grounding technology and the necessity of two-isolation grounding integration are introduced; the principle and functional characteristics of the visual three-position isolation grounding integration device are introduced, and its advantage analysis is carried out. Taking the trial run of Nanning Rail Transit Line 3 as an example, the functions and performance of the visual three-position isolation grounding integration device are verified. [Result & Conclusion]Through integrating disconnector and visual grounding device, the visual three-position isolation and grounding integration device has the functional features of quick-installed self-locking three-position switch, programmed control, comprehensive visualization, network topology safety interlocking, and fault self-diagnosis. It can realize the overall visualization and intelligence of the catenary power cut/transmission and grounding operation. Compared with the application mode of only adding a visual grounding device, the proposed three-position mode boasts more complete, safe, efficient, intelligent, and economic advantages, and is a practical intelligent solution for the catenary switch device.
