Background: We aim to explore the effect of the score for the targeting of atrial fibrillation (STAF) combined with the serum D-dimer (DD) level in screening acute ischemic stroke patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Methods: This study is a retrospective case observation study. This study consecutively selected patients with acute ischemic stroke who were hospitalized in the Department of Neurology at Zhuhai Hospital Affiliated with Jinan University from February 2019 to February 2021. Venous blood was drawn from all patients within 24 hours of hospitalization for DD detection. In accordance with the medical records, the patients were classified into an AF group and a non-AF group and were scored according to the STAF standard. A combined test method was used to estimate the diagnostic screening value of the STAF combined with the DD value for acute ischemic stroke patients with AF. Results: A total of 480 patients were enrolled, of whom 73 patients (15.2%) had AF and 42 patients had paroxysmal AF. The diagnostic sensitivity of a STAF ≥ 5 for patients with AF was 78%, and the specificity was 91%. The diagnostic sensitivity of DD ≥ 826.5 ng/mL for AF was 70%, and the specificity was 76%. The diagnostic sensitivity of the two indicators combined for AF was 86%, and the specificity was 97%. Conclusion: The STAF combined with the serum DD level has good diagnostic value in screening acute ischemic stroke patients with AF.

At this stage, the information literacy of teachers and students is constantly improving, and the “digital campus” represented by artificial intelligence is landing in various regions and schools. This paper accurately constructs a college management and education innovation system based on artificial intelligence technology, including institutional mechanisms, a one-stop service platform, and an early warning mechanism. The early warning mechanism has an early warning model constructed. The construction of an academic early warning model for students is based on multivariate linear regression. A model for early warning of student activity safety was constructed using multiclassification logistic regression. The impact of fusing the two models was evaluated, as well as the impact of practical application. The ROC value of the first-level warning is 0.9533, and the ROC value of the second-level warning is 0.9428, and both values are close to 1, which verifies that the model can be practically applied. By analyzing the F1-score value through practical application, the average value of the F1-score throughout the semester was as high as 84.68%, and the number of warnings of the early warning model was higher than the number of feedback from teachers. It has been verified that the early warning model in this study can effectively and efficiently manage student activities and academic anomalies in colleges and universities.

The selection of mobile phase is significant for the separation result of HPLC, for it may have influence on the quantitative analysis. During HPLC analysis, engineers usually use (water-acetonitrile) mobile phase system to separate aldehydes and ketones, however, the existence of acetone will affect the separation effect of other substances. The paper researches one new (water-acetonitrile-tetrahydrofuran) mobile phase system to separate aldehydes and ketones. By analyzing the standard curves and test results of unknown samples, the new mobile phase can meet the analyzing needs, also it can eliminate the influence of acetone in the analysis process. What’s more, the paper uses molecular simulation[1–3] (MS) to calculate the interactions between the mobile phase and the aldehydes and ketones, mean square displacement value (MSD) and radial distribution function value (RDF), and the separation phenomenon can be well explained. In this paper, MS technology is first proposed for the development of new mobile phase, which can predict new unknown mobile phase, improve the efficiency of method development, also it can benefit the accurate qualitative analysis and prediction of peak out behavior of unknown substances.

Achieving a more balanced charge transport by morphological control is crucial in reducing bimolecular and trap‐assisted recombination and enhancing the critical parameters for efficient organic solar cells (OSCs). Hence, a facile strategy is proposed to reduce the crystallinity difference between donor and acceptor by incorporating a novel multifunctional liquid crystal small molecule (LCSM) BDTPF4‐C6 into the binary blend. BDTPF4‐C6 is the first LCSM based on a tetrafluorobenzene unit and features a low liquid crystal phase transition temperature and strong self‐assembly ability, conducive to regulating the active layer morphology. When BDTPF4‐C6 is introduced as a guest molecule into the PM6 : Y6 binary, it exhibits better compatibility with the donor PM6 and primarily resides within the PM6 phase because of the similarity‐intermiscibility principle. Moreover, systematic studies revealed that BDTPF4‐C6 could be used as a seeding agent for PM6 to enhance its crystallinity, thereby forming a more balanced and favourable charge transport with suppressed charge recombination. Intriguingly, dual Förster resonance energy transfer was observed between the guest molecule and the host donor and acceptor, resulting in an improved current density. This study demonstrates a facile approach to balance the charge mobilities and offers new insights into boosting the efficiency of single‐junction OSCs beyond 20 %. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Aims: Nuclear receptor subfamily 1 group D member 1 (NR1D1)‐rearranged soft tissue tumour is a newly described entity with an epithelioid morphology and a potential for aggressive behaviour. Largely due to under‐recognition, this tumour type has not yet been widely acknowledged. Herein, we report four additional cases to further expand its clinicopathological and molecular spectrum. Methods and results: Four mesenchymal tumours with NR1D1 rearrangement were identified from our consultation files. There were one male and three females with ages ranging from 19 to 47 years (median = 28.5 years). Tumour occurred in the tongue, neck, hip and index finger, respectively. Histologically, two tumours were composed predominantly of epithelioid cells; one tumour had admixed epithelioid‐spindle cells and one tumour consisted of monomorphic small round to ovoid cells. By immunohistochemistry, none of the tumours expressed lineage‐specific markers. Targeted RNA‐sequencing identified NR1D1 fusions in all four tumours, the partner genes being MAML2, MAML3, KMT2A and NCOA2, respectively. The novel MAML3 and NCOA2 rearrangements were confirmed by fluorescence in‐situ hybridisation analysis. On follow‐up (2–23 months), one patient experienced local recurrence due to incomplete resection and one patient developed lung metastasis. The other two patients were alive without disease. Conclusions: This study adds more support for NR1D1‐rearranged soft tissue tumour as an emerging entity. The occurrence of two additional tumours in the head and neck region, description of a small round cell variant and identification of novel MAML3, KMT2A and NCOA2 partners further expand its clinicopathological and molecular spectrum. More studies on larger series are necessary to validate the fully malignant potential of NR1D1‐rearranged soft tissue tumour. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Embryo rescue is essential for the breeding of seedless grapes, but current protocols are inefficient and limit practical application. Here, we documented factors influencing embryo rescue efficiency using crosses of a cold-resistant seeded hybrid 00-1-5 ('Muscat Hamburg' × Vitis amurensis) as the paternal parent with four stenospermocarpic seedless grape cvs., 'Flame Seedless', 'Qinhong No. 2', 'Qinhong No. 10', and 'Ruby Seedless'. The results showed that treatment of inflorescences with 30∼50 mg·L−1 IBA 14 days before flowering significantly increased the embryo development, germination, and transition to seedling for progeny of each of the four crosses. 'Qinhong No. 2' × 00-1-5 and 'Qinhong No. 10' × 00-1-5, with a large number of ovules, were cultured on solid and solid–liquid biphase MM3 media respectively, the embryo development rate on solid medium was significantly better than that on solid–liquid biphase medium. 'Ruby Seedless', 'Qinhong No. 2' and 'Qinhong No. 10' are more suitable for embryo rescue as maternal parent. The optimal medium for transforming deformed seedlings into normal seedlings was 2 × MS medium containing 0.2 mg·L−1 6-BA, 0.1 mg·L−1 IAA, and 1.6 mg·L−1 ZnSO4. In total, 311 embryos were rescued successfully, which were considered as potential cold-resistant seedless hybrids. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
