Two new Platynectes species, P. maizuqii sp. nov. from Guangdong and P. pangu sp. nov. from Yunnan, are described. New records are provided for the following species: P. davidorum Hájek, Alarie, Šťastný & Vondráček, 2019 from Jiangxi, P. dissimilis (Sharp, 1873) from Guangxi, P. gemellatus Šťastný, 2003 from Hunan and Zhejiang, P. kashmiranus lemberki Šťastný, 2003 from Xizang and P. nanlingensis Šťastný, 2003 from Jiangxi. Additional records are also given for most other Chinese species. Platynectes kashmiranus kashmiranus J. Balfour-Browne, 1944 is removed from the Chinese fauna. The habitus of all and the male genitalia of most species are illustrated. An updated key to all Chinese species of Platynectes is provided.

The genus Cybister Curtis, 1827 is reviewed with respect to the fauna of China. A new species, Cybister (Melanectes) danxiaensis sp. nov. is described and illustrated. Altogether, 16 Cybister species are recorded from China, although the status of two of them remains in question. All species are diagnosed, with their habitus and male genitalia illustrated. Additional faunistic data from China are provided for the following species: C. guerini Aubé, 1838 from Hainan; C. lewisianus Sharp, 1873 from Guangdong and Hainan; C. limbatus (Fabricius, 1775) from Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan; C. rugosus (W. S. Macleay, 1825) from Chongqing, Guangdong, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Yunnan, Zhejiang; C. tripunctatus lateralis (Fabricius, 1798) from Chongqing, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Shanghai; C. brevis Aubé, 1838 from Guizhou, Hunan, Zhejiang; and C. sugillatus Erichson, 1834 from Guangxi and Yunnan. An updated identification key and distribution maps for all species are provided. Cybister lateralimarginalis torquatus (Fischer von Waldheim, 1829) is recorded for the first time from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The species of the genus Copelatus Erichson, 1832 from China Mainland are reviewed. 22 species are recorded in total. Ten new species: C. dentatipenis sp. nov. (Fujian, Hunan, Jiangxi), C. diversistriatus sp. nov. (Yunnan; Laos, Myanmar, Thailand), C. felicis sp. nov. (Yunnan), C. miaowangi sp. nov. (Guizhou), C. mopanshanensis sp. nov. (Yunnan), C. nanlingensis sp. nov. (Guangdong), C. puzhelongi sp. nov. (Yunnan; Laos, Vietnam), C. rosulae sp. nov. (Yunnan), C. tengchongensis sp. nov. (Yunnan), and C. xiniudong sp. nov. (Guizhou) are described. Copelatus chinensis Régimbart, 1899 is reinstituted as a valid species with Copelatus collocallosus Falkenström, 1932 and C. collocallosus Falkenström, 1933 as its junior subjective synonyms. One species from Hongkong remains unidentified since it is so far known only from a limited number of females. Additional records are provided for the known species; three species: C. bacchusi Wewalka, 1981, C. malaisei Guignot, 1954 and C. parallelus Zimmermann, 1920 are recorded from China for the first time. Copelatus takakurai Satô, 1985 is withdrawn from the Chinese fauna. All species are diagnosed, and their habitus and male genitalia are illustrated. An updated identification key to Chinese Copelatus is provided.

This article discussed the applicability of the curing agent, the growth and change of the peat soil curing unconfined compressive strength and under the different variables (such as cement, curing agent formula, construction waste, age). We get the strength increase model by analyzing the results of peat soil solidification formula experiment. Regress equation about the cement dosage, curing agent, content of construction waste residue, age and principal component values was built by using the regression analysis.

The Dian Lake Peat soil is studied as the research object in this paper, through the strengthening treatment by adding the cement and some suitable additives as well as a certain amount of waste residue, the compressive strength are taken into consideration in comparison in the different curing composition and other factors in performance of solidified soil. And it importantly discussed the applicability of curing agent and different variables (cement, the formula of curing agent, construction waste, age) in the incremental changes of unconfined compressive strength of curing peat soil.

Peat soil are widely distributed, and because of its special geological reasons, the severity of the problem to determine the Dian Lake region soft foundation and engineering difficulty of processing. This paper presents the methods through experiments with solidifying materials mixing into peat soils to strive to find a complex solidifying agent meeting the demand of engineering and special to peat soil. Two groups of optimal formulas for stabilizers were obtained by uniform design and their serviceability would be validated.

According to the monitoring project of the arch bridge of Ma Zhang Dam, with the mass concrete of its I-shaped bearing platform as the analysis object, the temperature sensor is set up in the construction process, and the temperature field changes in the bearing platform are monitored in real time, and the internal change law of the mass concrete temperature field is measured. The results show that the highest temperature of 1# with 2.5m high I-shaped platform appears at 27h after full warehouse, which is 70.4°C; the highest temperature of 2# appeared at 17h after full storage, which was 65.5 °C, exceeding the limit of 5°C. Therefore, the cooling cycle water pipe is set up in the construction process, the cooling measures are taken in time, and the cracks are not appeared in the platform, which provides a certain basis for the construction of the mass concrete in the future.

An comparison research on the effect of pozzolanic reactions of fly ashes in architectural wastes recycle is described in the paper. In the experiment, NaOH and Na2SO4-Ca(OH)2 were used to activate the pozzolanic activities in the fly ashes—cement system to solidify the architectural wastes. The macro and micro testing methods were used to test the compressive strength, phase and electronic micro morphology of the hydration of alkali-activated fly ashes—cement cementitious system. The testing result shows that proper alkali-activated fly ashes—cement cementitious architectural wastes can shorten the incubation time of the pozzolanic reactions of fly ashes, whi ch make the reactions of fly ashes more sufficient. So the hydration products of fly ashes —cement cementitious system with alkali additions were more than those of without alkali add itions, and the compressive strength of the alkali-activated fly ashes—cement cementitious system is higher than that of non alkali-activated fly ashes—cement cementitious system.
