Computer and information sciences - Abstract
Agriculture has faced multiple challenges throughout 20th and 21st century. Population growth means more mouths to feed, but, unfortunately, smaller rural labor force, which stimulated people to develop more efficient and sustainable production methods in order to adapt plants to different climate changes and make them more resistible to diseases. Accurate and rapid diagnosis of plant diseases has shown to play an important role in improving the quality and quantity of agriculture crops. In this article we are proposing an automated disease detection and classification service for grape leaves using traditional image processing and AI techniques using Amazon Sage Maker service. We are focusing our work on detecting three different diseases of grape leaves: black rot, black measles, and leaf blight disease. The results of our study are presented and discussed in the following.

With our technology we measure every physical change or phenomena in our world. Using large collection of algorithms, we process, analyse, calculate, and gather results of every measured physical change. In that way a large database of raw data is created. The idea is to make a program that will understand our input data and make all calculations that we need. For that operation, we want to distinguish the “LabView” by National Instruments. LabView creates Virtual Instruments (VI’s), so, we can use the same VI’s for different type of input data with small change in parameters and filters according to the type of the data.

The goal is to provide fast and easy way for engineers to take a look at data oscillation, analyze the information gathered from every element of one convertor, filter the oscillation data by time to see voltage change and compare results. For the making of this web application we used several technologies for saving, collecting and representing data. All data is saved in a relational database from which we take all the information and represent it in our application. In the next part we will discuss about every separate technology. Every physical phenomena of the nature is a chance for the scientists to collect data. Very often, the most reliable results are obtained from analyzing big data, collected from instruments in real – time. That amount of data is large database, which later is analyzed with MATLAB/Simulink or LabVIEW. Analyzing the database in such software environment often can give us closer look of average values in the nature and according to that values we can expect similar values in the future, make predictions for the future investments in the field of renewable energy sources that is one of the most important area in present and future. One of the most complicated and powerful systems at planet earth is the Mother Nature. Almost every day, somewhere in the world, an earthquake is registered with magnitudes that affects life of many humans. It is very important to better understand the system of the ground shaking caused by sesmic waves. Collecting the data from these scenarios are very important for the researchers. We are processing the data from seven – story Hotel in Van Nyus, California during the Northridge Earthquake in 1994. During the earthquake, five instruments are measuring the displacements from the bottom to the top of the building. This paper represents the connection between the ground and the fifth floor at which the building is cracking. We will calculate some parameters that are important according to us between these two points and present graphically over the software LabView. Numerical solutions implemented via object – orinented blocks will give us the results that we are needed.

In this paper, we present digital signal processing of recorded earthquake motions. The paper describes all the techniques used for the whole process of signal processing. From the measured displacements at the ground (first) floor and at the roof of typical seven-story building and their processing, we can get valuable information about the strong ground shaking and the structural response. In many cases, Fourier transform from time to frequency domain provides more information about the signal. First, using FFT, we transform the measured displacements at basement and at the roof from time to frequency domain. The transformation at basement level, Fb(f), gives us valuable information about the frequency content of the strong ground motion. On the other side, the ratio of the Fourier transform at the roof and at the basement gives us so called transfer function, which reveals the natural frequencies of the building. To accomplish the above tasks, we use the software Labview. Labview enables constructing graphical environment that represents design and analysis of a DSP system in a very minor compared to text – based programming environments. The graphical environment in Labview consists of VI (virtual instrument) which is represented by a Front Panel (FP) and Block Diagram (BD). The BD incorporates the graphical code and the FP provides the user – interface of the program. The Vis is modular and independent, which means they can be run by itself.

This paper presents an image deblurring method that finds application in a broad scientific field such as image deblurring. A method for image deblurring, based on the pseudoinverse matrix is applied for removal of blur in an image caused by linear motion. This method assumes that linear motion corresponds to an integer number of pixels. Compared to other classical methods, this method attains higher values of the Improvement in Signal to Noise Ratio (ISNR) and the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) parameter. The values for the Mean Square Error (MSE) is lower and computational time has been decreased considerably with respect to the other methods. The presented experimental results are implemented in MATLAB.

This paper presents an research of the performance of the artificial boundaries P3 and P4 of Stacey depending on the interval of the heigh of the computational grid. The interval between mesh points is changed constantly and the tables are presented below. Introduction, structure, results, conclusion and references of the paper are shown below. Analytical methods allow us to model a lot of processes in the exploring of the earth and to enjoy in a significant success in studies about permanent deformations as also for propagating of waves for a long time. In reality geological mediums are discontinuous of a large scale rang, combined from discrete particles, consider both microscopic and macroscopic parts. Development of numerical schemes provide us to study wave propagations through complex media. These methods have proven as valuable as a way for implementing of real data covered with seismic explorations with synthetic data from numerical models. They also have allow access to the processes like scattering of seismic waves as they pass through the crust. Of course there are other methods as finite difference method, boundary method of elements, discrete particle scheme who are not based on the wave equation, but to the physics of the wave propagation that shows on the atom scale. These days numerical seismology can provide us computer simulations of seismic wave propagation [4], that represent invaluable tool for understanding of the wave phenomena, their generating and their consequences.

Boundary conditions are derived for numerical wave simulations that minimize artificial reflections from the edges of the domain of computation. In this way acoustic and elastic wave propagation in a limited area can be efficiently used to describe physical behavior in an unbounded domain. The boundary conditions are based on paraxial approximations of the scalar and elastic wave equations. They are computationally inexpensive and simple to apply, and they reduce reflections over a wide range of incident angles. Complex absorbing boundary conditions are developed for numerical simulations of seismic waves. These methods combines absorbing boundary conditions, based on a characteristic analyze of one – dimensional wave equations, with wavefield modifications approaches. Some of these methods absorb the waves from the surface besides the waves in the body. This study represents some of the methods of the finite – difference and finite – elements to easily understand the spreading of seismic waves in simple and complex models. The numerical simulations have improve our understanding of the scattering of seismic waves in portions of earth where are the lateraly heterogenous, which is the crust also. These methods propagate complex seismic wavefields, through high – complex mediums and include scatterings of waves and converted phases (e.g. P to SV, SV to P, wave from body to surface). The numerical methods have shown as especially useful in cases of moderate and strong scatterings in complex mediums where multiple scattering of waves becomes important. Progress have been made with numerical methods in understanding of that how surface – close, small – velocity basin structures scatters the surface waves and vertically incident waves in the medium. Numerical methods have proven usefulness in evaluating of scattering of surface waves and body waves from the topography of both, the free surface and interfaces deep in the crust. Studies for numerical methods have demonstrated the importance of conversions of waves from the body to the surface (and vice versa) when lateral heterogeneities topographic reliefs are presented in the upper parts of the crust. Recently, some analysis are applied to the numerical methods to study the seismic wave propagations in velocity models that varies differently in the space. - 4 - This stochastic approach seeks to understands the effects of complexity of small – range in the crust that cannot solve deterministically. The experiments have improved the connections between statistic characteristics of different heterogeneity and measurable characteristics of the high – frequency ( ) seismograms. These simulations are made from studies of many features that stands for actual high – frequent seismic waves, including: the amplitude and time step of the seismic wave, the apparent attenuation scattering, velocity of the waves and the variations in wave forms through arrays of receivers.

In this paper a research of the performance of the two variation of the artificial (transparent) boundaries of Stacey, P3 and P4 has been made [4]. Boundaries effect is being examined through determining of the relative reflected seismical energy back to the model. As the reflected energy is smaller, the boundary is more transparent. Testings are being made with numerical methods based on central finite differences, CFD, on materials with different ratio of the propagating velocities of the compressional and tangential waves . The testing will show how artificial boundaries are refer of different values of this ratio and in which case of values smallest or highest error is obtained [7].

Computer and information sciences - Abstract
