The packaging of goods is a language which tells the customers the attributes, functions, connotation, taste and cultural meaning of products. In this paper, the basic theory of semiotics is used to interpret the semiotic meaning of packaging, and the concept of packaging semantics is put forward. First, some basic element, such as symbols, semiotics, and product semantics are discussed in brief. Then, the concept of packaging semantics is given. The connotation, structure, factors and their relationship organization also explored in depth. By researching, understanding and mastering packaging semantics, modern packaging designers will get some important guidance.

It is well known the use of audiovisual teaching material may enhance the teaching effect, stimulate the student’ enthusiasm to study independently, solve heavy difficulty question of teaching, promote the reform of educational model. Recent years, we devoted to developing and researching the experimental teaching material based on the new media, further discussed the reform of the experiment teaching material under the new media environment. Utilize the new media technology to construct the experimental video frequency teaching system which based on non-linear network structure, to implement the multi-level three-dimensional experiment teaching system, to implement the opening experimental teaching system, to realize the dominant mode study for the student, and to create the condition for the student to carry out the research study .We take the video frequency teaching material of "Inorganic and analytical chemistry" as the example, to carry on the exploration and the practice for the video frequency teaching material construction, and has obtained certain achievement, archived certain approval from specialized teachers and students.

Nowadays, with the increasing development in science and technology, modern design industry jump into the view and make its foundation on commercialization of large-scale production. In China, some of the modern design blindly follow the fashion, personality, and the westism, with the consideration that abroad new ideas and new concepts have brought unprecedented impact on traditional Chinese culture and art. However, the traditional culture in both form and content angles is still a rich soil to modern design. Therefore, chinese design industry, with a profound cultural accumulation, should not abandon the traditional culture. Instead, modern designers in China should be built on the base of traditional culture, and find their teacher of the design style, the production process, the selection of materials, and others from traditional culture, and only then could they do more than students. A successful modern design should embrace both ancient and modern, listen to others voice, open mind for different culture, and finally and most importantly is the reflection of the harmony between man and nature with modern way. It is not just learning and transferring of the traditional Chinese culture, but also developing and promoting Chinese modern design to the worldwide.
