In this paper, the impact of the 3D printing parameter on coloristic values of the prints has been analyzed. 3D samples are made of acrylonitrile / butadiene / styrene (ABS) polymers, based on a fused filament fabrication principle (FDM / FFF). The influence of certain 3D print parameters on the functional and mechanical properties of 3D print objects is undeniable, but little research is devoted to the importance of color and the influence of print parameters on the appearance and reproduction of 3D prints color. Therefore, the focus of the experimental part of this paper is precisely on the analysis of the relationship between the 3D printing process parameters and the coloristic values of the surface obtained. Objective color characterization based on spectrophotometric measurements and color difference calculations for the equally colored 3D surface but with the difference in temperature and thickness of the printing layer, were obtained according to the CIE system.
