Previously, the authors showed that the application of the aminodihydrophthalazinedione sodium (ADPS) immunomodulator transdermal therapeutic system (TTS) to laboratory animals provides bioavailability analogous to the intramuscular administration of this drug at the same dose. At the same time, its maximum blood concentration is significantly reduced, and the retention time of the drug in the body is increased more than 10-fold, which can contribute to prolonging the drug effect. The aim of the work was to identify a possible positive effect of the transdermal administration of the ADPS immunomodulator on reparative liver regeneration on an experimental model of extensive liver resection (ELR). It has been shown that at a period of 48 h after ELR, the percutaneous administration of the immunomodulator has a pronounced stimulating effect on the mitotic activity of rat liver cells; by 72 h after ELR, an accelerated rate of recovery of hepatic homeostasis in the body was observed in laboratory animals in groups with the application of the ADPS TTS versus the control group. Introduction. Ectropion of the cervix (EC) is a condition when there is a cicatricial deformity of the uterine cervix (as a result of traumatic injuries) with visualization of the ectopic columnar epithelium on the vaginal part of it. The ectopia is currently classified as a variant of the normal histophysiological state of the cervix. This article discusses the features of the course and methods of treatment of complicated EC.Objective of the study is: to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a new method of complex treatment of CE.Material and methods. In an open prospective study, 133 patients with CE (groups 1 and 2) and 56 healthy women (group 3) has taken part. In group 1 (n = 83), we have used a method for treating CE developed by us, which included two stages: stage I – elimination of microbial and viral pathogen in combination with immunomodulatory therapy, II – electrosurgical treatment (Leep biopsy) and treatment of the cervix with Galavit (100 mg of dry matter) dissolved in 5 ml of Miramistin (Patent for invention RU 2568768 C1). In group 2 (n = 50), surgical treatment of CE has been preceded by vaginal sanitation, empirical antibacterial and antiviral therapy. Diagnostic measures, in addition to standards, have included: determination of interleukins IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10 in the discharge of the cervical canal, ultrasound diagnostics with Doppler measurements in the vessels of the central zone of the cervix. Statistica 7.0, SPSS 17 packages have been used for statistical processing.Results and discussion. Before the start of treatment, patients in groups 1 and 2 have been found to have a combination of CE with cervicitis (100%), ASCUS cytological picture (more than 60%), abnormal colposcopic signs (100%), imbalance of the local immune system with a predominance of Th1 cytokines (the content of IL-8 increased 2.6 times; IL-1b – 13 times; IL-6 – 20 times, and IL-10 – in 1.7 times) against the background of increased vascularization and cervical perfusion. The reparative process after Leep biopsy in group 1 has ended by the end of 3 weeks in 65.6% of patients, in group 2 – in 25.5%, after 5 weeks – in 100% and 57.4%, respectively, after 8 – in group 2, 91.5%. The average period of epithelialization of a wound on the cervix in group 1 was 27.4 ± 4.3 days, in group 2 – 39.5 ± 5.6 days (p = 0.01). After 2 years, the recurrence of cervical pathology has been recorded only in group 2 (34.0%).Conclusion. The use of the developed method of two-stage complex therapy for CE increases the effectiveness of treatment, prevents complications after Leep biopsy, accelerates epithelialization by 30.6% and avoids recurrence of the disease.

Incidence of reported cases of genital herpes in different countries has increased dramatically during the last years, which is essentially caused by spread of asymptomatic or atypical types of herpes. Frequent relapses of herpes infection are characterized by changes in the immunological status. The authors of presented article analysed the findings of foreign and domestic studies on the treatment of the disease, systematized information about the features of antiviral chemotherapy drugs used in the treat-ment of genital herpes, identified criteria for the efficacy and duration of suppressive therapy, and the feasibility of its combination with courses of immunomodulatory drugs. The article summarizes the authors’ own experience in the treatment of genital herpes in 50 patients, who were randomly divided into 2 groups: (active treatment) group 1 consisted of 25 women who received antiviral (acyclovir and its analogues) and immunomodulatory therapy (aminodihydrophthalasindione sodium, suppositories), (comparison) group 2 consisted of 25 patients who received antiviral therapy only. The following were criteria for the inclusion of patients: genital herpes history, clinical presentation of genital herpes during the prodromal period or exacerbation, and no more than 48 hours after the rash occurred.The results of evaluation of the treatment effectiveness showed that the vesicles disappeared and the crusts formed during aminodihydrophthalasindione sodium therapy in the active treatment group of patients as early as Day 2-5 after starting treatment, while the acute phase of local inflammation in the comparison group was reversed only by Day 4-5. Complete reepitheli-alization occurred in the active treatment and comparison groups by Day 6-7 of the treatment. At the same time, the PCR test did not detect HSV-2 in smears in 24 (96.0%) women in the active treatment group and in 25 (88.0%) women in the comparison group. No one had any fresh rashes in the course of treatment with the drug. In addition, the authors reported prolongation of clinical remission in the active treatment group up to 5 months (up to 55 days on average).As can be seen from the above, the inclusion of immunomodulatory drugs in the combination specific antiviral therapy leads to faster achievement of the clinical effect, allows to reduce frequency of relapses and improves the patients’ quality of life.

The article presents the results of a comparative randomized study, the purpose of which was to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of aminodihydrophthalasindione sodium (Galavit, LLC SELVIM, Russia) in the treatment of patients undergoing an abortion. Included in the study, 48 women were divided into two groups, 24 patients of the main group in addition to the standard rehabilitation were treated with aminodihydrophthalasindione sodium in the comparison group – 24 patients underwent only standard rehabilitation. In this study, all patients (100%) of the main group who were treated with aminodihydrophthalasindione sodium in addition to the standard therapy marked reduction of the clinical symptoms of the disease and positive dynamics was observed at ultrasound. In the control group, the full clinical effect of treatment was observed only in 10 patients (52.6%). 9 women (47,4%) required repeated therapy. Ultrasound studies in 12 patients (63.2%) showed changes equivalent to endometritis.
