Apartman konusunun incelenmesi; dönemin mimarlık anlayışı, yaşam kurgusu ve teknolojisi üzerine bilgi edinmeye kaynaklık etmektedir. İstanbul özelinde apartman yapılarının incelenmesinin amacı, ilk apartman örneklerini barındırması ve tarihsel süreklilikte yapılardaki değişimin izlerini aramaya kaynaklık etmesidir. Dört bölümden oluşan makalenin birinci bölümünde apartmanın tanımı yapılmış, Dünya’da ortaya çıkışı incelenmiş ve önemli örneklerine yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde İstanbul özelinde Galata ve Pera’da ortaya çıkıp gelişim gösteren apartman tipi yerleşimler üzerinde durulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde ise İstanbul’da apartmanın gelişim süreci; Mısır, Ceylan ve NoXX Apartmanları ele alınarak incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ise ele alınan yapıların plan ve cepheleri karşılaştırılmış, tarihsel süreklilikte apartman yapılarının değişimi anlaşılmaya çalışılmış ve üç dönem yapısının hem plan hem de cephe kurgusunda farklılaşmalar gözlenmiştir.

Cumhuriyetin kurulması ve sonrasında Sanayi Devriminin/endüstrileşmenin etkilerinin kentlerde hissedilmeye başlamasıyla konut sorunu ortaya çıkmıştır. Apartman tipi konut da en önemli konut sunum biçimlerinden bir tanesi olup, kentlerde kapladıkları alanlar dolayısıyla önem taşımaktadır. Çalışma alanı olarak seçilen Konya kenti de konut sorunundan etkilenmiştir. Bu nedenle farklı dönemlerde farklı tipte apartmanlar kentte yerini almıştır. Belirlenen dört dönem içinde üçer adet seçilen apartman tipi konutlarla, çalışmada on iki adet apartman mekân kurgusu bağlamında irdelenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı ise; konutun en önemli birimlerinden olan, yatma-uyuma-dinlenme-giyinme bazen yıkanma gibi temel ihtiyaçları karşılayan “yatak odası” mekânının, belirlenen dönemler içindeki değişimini irdelemek olarak belirlenmiştir. İncelenen örneklerin planları üzerinden yapılan mekân okuması, erişim grafiği ve görünür alan analizleriyle yatak odası biriminin değişimi tartışmaya açılmak istenmiştir. Konutun en kişisel/mahrem mekânı olan yatak odasının değişimini tartışmaya açmak ve gelecek çalışmalara referans olmak amacıyla bu çalışmanın önemli olacağı öngörülmektedir.

Konutların mekânsal kuruluş özellikleri incelendiğinde yaşam biçimi, yapılış dönemi özellikleri, mekân kullanımları gibi birçok konuda bilgi edinmek mümkündür. Cumhuriyetin ilanı ile başlayan toplumsal hayattaki değişimler yaşam biçimi ve dünya görüşünü de değiştirmiştir. Değişen yaşam biçimiyle ilişkili olarak konut kullanımı ve konut iç mekân dizilişi değişmiştir. Bu çalışma, Cumhuriyet sonrası sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik hayatta yaşanan değişimlerin mimariye ve konut kullanımına etkisini 1960’dan günümüz dönemine kadar Gaziantep’teki apartmanlar özelinde incelemeyi hedeflemiştir. Araştırmada, çalışma alanı kapsamında ele alınan mahallelerde cephe karakteristiklerine bakılarak on iki apartman tipi konut fotoğrafları çekilerek tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen apartman adresleri ve ada, parsel bilgileri belirlenerek mimari projelerine ulaşmak için Gaziantep Belediyesi İmar Müdürlüğü arşivinde detaylı bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Projelerin onay/ruhsat tarihleri dikkate alınarak 1960’den günümüz dönemine kadar 20’şer yıllık dönemlere ayrılarak projeler gruplandırılmıştır. Tespit edilip mimari projelerine ulaşılan on iki apartman tipi konut için detaylı analiz tablolarının hazırlanması ve dönemsel olarak karşılaştırmalı analizler yapılmıştır. Bu tablolarda konutların, ada-parsel bilgileri, yapı nizamı, taban alanı kat sayısı, kat alanı kat sayısı, bağımsız ünite sayısı gibi genel karakteristik bilgilerinin yanı sıra, mekânların analizine yönelik olarak mekân türleri, mekân sayıları, toplam kullanım alanları, erişim grafiği ve şematik diyagramından meydana gelmektedir. Gaziantep kenti özelinde apartman tipi konut yapıları planlama ve tasarım sürecinin, temel ilkelerini ve geçirmiş olduğu değişim-dönüşüm sürecini tarihsel arka plana dayalı olarak analiz etmeyi amaçlamayan bu araştırma sonucunda, apartman yapılarında tipolojik değişikliklerin yaşandığı tespit edilmiştir. Plan şeması, erişim grafiği ve alansal büyüklükler açısından bakıldığında dönemler arasında bir değişim yaşandığı görülmüştür. _________________________________________________________________________________Analysis of Spatial Transformation of Apartment Type Houses From 1960 Till Today: Gaziantep CaseAbstractWhen the spatial structure characteristics of the houses are examined, it is possible to obtain information about life style, construction period features, use of space. The changes in the social life, started with the proclamation of the Republic, have changed the way of life and the world view. Housing use and housing interiors have also changed in relation to the changing lifestyle. The aim of this study is to analyze the effects of the changes in the social, cultural and economic life exercised in the After Republican Period on architecture and housing use on the basis of apartments of Gaziantep from 1960s till today. In the study, twelve apartments in the study area neighborhoods have been determined and photographed on the basis of facade characteristics. A detailed search was carried out in the archives of the Directorate of Development of the Municipality of Gaziantep in order to find out the architectural projects from addresses and island, parcel information. By taking into consideration of project approval/license dates, projects have been grouped into 20 year periods from 1960s to the present.Detailed analysis tables were prepared for twelve apartments, architectural projects are maintained and comparative periodical analyzes were conducted. These tables are composed of information of general characteristics of the buildings such as island-parcel information, building order, floor area coefficient, total area coefficient, number of storeys, number of independent units besides space types, space numbers, total area usage, access graphic and schematic diagrams. As a result of this study, which has not aimed to analyze the basic principles and the change-transformation process of the apartment housing type in Gaziantep city based on the historical background, it has been determined that typological changes are experienced in apartments. In terms of plan diagram, access graph, and spatial dimensions, a change was observed between the periods.Keywords: Apartment, space, typology

U ovom radu opisana je aplikacija za oglašavanje privatnog smještaja. Rađena je u radnom okviru (engl. framework) Django. Korisničko sučelje stilizirano je pomoću alata Bootstrap. U aplikaciji postoje dvije vrste korisničkih uloga, a to su korisnik i administrator. Cilj projekta je napraviti funkcionalnu aplikaciju koja se može koristiti kao smislena cjelina te omogućuje sve osnovne usluge potrebne za iznajmljivanje i traženje apartmana., This work describes an application for advertising private accommodation. It was created using the Django framework. The user interface was designed with Bootstrap web toolkit. There are two kinds of roles a user can have in this application: user and administrator. The goal of this project is to make a functional application that makes sense as a whole and provides all the basic services needed for renting and finding apartments.

The purpose of examining the apartment buildings in Istanbul is to be a source to search for the traces of the changes in the buildings in the historical continuity. In the first part of the study, the definition of the apartment was made, its emergence in the world was examined and important examples were given. In the second part, apartment-type settlements that emerged and developed in Galata and Pera, in particular in Istanbul, were emphasized. In the third part, the development process of the apartment in Istanbul; Mısır, Ceylan and NoXX Apartments were examined by taking into consideration. In the fourth chapter, the plans and facades of the structures discussed were compared, and differentiations were observed in both the plan and the facade setup.

Korku edebiyatı da denen gotik edebiyat, geniş sur ve kalelerle çevrili konakları/ şatoları, bu konutlardaki esrarlı ve ürpertici odaları ile dikkat çeker. Bu makalede, Orhan Pamuk tarafından 2003’te yayımlanan İstanbul Hatıralar ve Şehir isimli kitaba değinilmiştir. Eserde Pamuk’un yaşadığı ve bahsini ettiği evler, gotik edebiyatın /sinemanın karanlık, kasvetli ve gölgeli konaklarını, şatolarını hatırlatır. Çocukluğunu ve gençliğini ışığı az, sıkıcı ve boğucu mekânlarda geçirmek zorunda kalan Pamuk, bu evlerdeki eşyaların üzerindeki tesirinden uzun uzadıya bahseder. Gotik edebiyatın/sinemanın mekânlarında yaşamaya mahkûm olmuş Pamuk’un üzerinde, bu evlerin/apartmanların kuvvetli tesiri olur. Şahsiyetinin ve kimliğinin inşasında, gotik denebilecek bu evlerin ne gibi değişikliklere sebep olduğunu eserinde anlatır. Bu makalede, Pamuk’un anlattığı apartman daireleri ile gotik edebiyat ve sinemanın mekânı karşılaştırılmıştır. Gotik mekân ile Pamuk’un evlerinin benzerlikleri ortaya konulmuştur.

Cilj je ovog rada utvrditi razloge iz kojih se na području Istre u proteklih nekoliko godina sve više lokalnog stanovništva odlučuje na iznajmljivanje smještajnih objekata za vrijeme turističke sezone, razinu profitabilnosti iznajmljivanja te načine ulaska na ovo tržište (od kategorizacije smještaja i pronalaženja gostiju, do iznajmljivanja, prijave gostiju i u konačnici ostvarenja profita). Putem ankete provedene među iznajmljivačima potvrđeni su statistički podatci turističkih zajednica Istarske županije i grada Pule koji ukazuju na eksponencijalni rast broja privatnih turističkih smještaja u Istarskoj županiji. Navedena anketa pokazala je i negativnu percepciju tekuće sezone naspram prethodnih. Stoga se na samome kraju, pokušava odgovoriti na pitanje održivog razvoja privatnih turističkih smještaja. The aim of this paper is to identify the reasons why in the last couple of years, more and more people in Istria have decided to rent private accommodation (in the form of apartments and houses) during the tourist season, to look at the level of rental profitability and the ways of entering this market (from categorizing accommodation and finding guests to renting, guest sign-ups and, ultimately, profit). A survey conducted among Istrian renters confirmed the statistical data of the tourist boards of the County of Istria and the City of Pula which indicate an exponential increase in the number of private tourist accommodations in the County of Istria. The aforementioned survey also showed a negative perception of the current season compared to the previous ones. Therefore, at the very end, the writer tried to answer the question of sustainable development of private tourist accommodation in this region.

Aynı zaman diliminde, farklı kültürlerden, farklı sosyal değişim aşamalarını yaşayan, ve farklı teknolojileri kullanan, her biri `biricik` olan insanlar giderek stnadart-tek tip projelendirilmiş kutulara hapsolmak yerine bireysel tercihleri ile uyumlu konutlar talep etmektedirler. Bu araştırma ile içinde bulunduğumuz toplumsal gelişim aşamasında, çok katlı apartman yapılarında bu talepleri karşılayabilecek `Kullanıcıya Özel Konutlar` üretmek mümkün müdür? Sorusuna cevap aranmıştır.Araştırmanın giriş bölümünde sorunun ortaya konması, amaçları, kapsamı ve sınırları ile izlenen yöntem ve bilgi kaynakları, bilgi edinme yöntem ve teknikleri kısaca açıklanmıştır.İkinci Bölümde, konutun tarihsel gelişimi, çok katlı konut yapıları ve iç mekân düzenlemelerine ilişkin çalışmaların kısa tarihçesi verilmiş ve araştırmanın kavramsal altyapısı oluşturulmuştur. Üçüncü Bölümde, değişen konut talepleri üretim süreci irdelenmiş, özetle bu süreci yönlendiren, yasal, yönetsel ve sosyal dinamikler üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu süreçlerden bağımsız olarak ortaya çıkan `farklı iç mekân kullanım talepleri saptanarak, tasarım-uygulama evrelerinde bu taleplerin nasıl karşılanabileceği tartışılmıştır Dördüncü Bölümde, `çok katlı bir yapıda kullanıcıya özel konut` uygulaması incelenmiştir. At the same time period, people from different cultures, living in different stages of social change, and using different technologies, each one being `unique`, are increasingly demanding houses that are compatible with their individual preferences, rather than being trapped in standard-type project boxes. With this research the question sought was, is it possible to produce `Custom Houses` that can meet these demands in multi-story apartment buildings during the social development phase we are in? In the introduction part of the study, the definition of the problem, its objectives, scope and boundaries, the methods and information sources followed, the methods and techniques of obtaining information are briefly explained.In the second chapter, a brief history of the historical development of residence, multi-story residential buildings and interior arrangements were given and the conceptual infrastructure of the study was established.In the third chapter, the process of changing housing demands and the process of production has been examined. Cepheler, insanın yapıyla, yapının kent ile iletişim kurduğu yüzeylerdir. Kenti oluşturan mimari mekanların cepheleri biçimsel özellikleriyle içerdiği bilgileri alır, binayı algılar ve anlamlandırır. Bu durum cephelerin görsel olarak incelenmesinde ve değerlendirilmesinde görsel algı kavramını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Çalışmanın konusunu yapının önemli bir parçası olan `cephe` elemanının görsel algı kapsamında kullanıcıyı nasıl etkilediği sorunsalı oluşturmaktadır.Çalışmanın amacı, Diyarbakır'da Diclekent, Mahabad ve Şanlıurfa Bulvarları' nda bulunan yerleşme potansiyelinin en yoğun olduğu parsellerde bulunan konut tipi yapı cephelerinin kullanıcı üzerindeki görsel algısını Gestalt Kuramı bağlamında analiz ederek elde edilen verileri tasarım kriterleri bağlamında değerlendirmektir. Bu nedenle algı, görsel algı ve görsel algılamada Gestalt Kuramı ve kuramın bileşenleri çalışmanın kavramsal çerçevesini oluşturmaktadır.Çalışma kapsamında öncelikle kavramsal alt yapıya yönelik olarak literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmalarda algı, görsel algı ve Gestalt Kuramı'na ait temel ilkeler parametre olarak belirlenmiştir. İlgili kurum ve kuruluşlardan konutlarla ilgili elde edilen veriler, yerinde gerçekleştirilen alan etüt-analiz çalışmaları, incelemeler, görsel belgeleme çalışmaları ile tezin kavramsal çerçevesi oluşturulmuştur. Alan çalışmasında ise fotoğraflama ve anket yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Anket verileri dijitalleştirilerek bir takım istatistiksel analizler uygulanmış ve bulgular ortaya konmuş, bu bulgular yorumlanarak istatistiğe dayalı bir sonuç oluşturularak literatür bağlamında tartışılmış ve tasarımcılara önemli çıktılar sağlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) programından yararlanılmıştır. İstatistiksel sonuçlara dayanarak bulvarlarda bulunan konut cepheleri değerlendirilmiştir. Kullanıcının yapı cephelerinin algılanmasında hangi özelliklerin başat olduğu ve yeni tasarımlarda bu başat özelliklerin nasıl kullanılacağına dair sonuç ve öneriler oluşturulmuştur. Building facades are a surface that building can interact within the city. The Facades of architectural spaces which composed the city surface are key elements in term of the meaning and perception of the building with its contaminant's knowledges. This situation causes the term `visual perception` which means the estimation and evaluation of the building facades in term of the visual content. The main problem of this study is how effect the `facades` of buildings which are important part of the building on the users in term of the visual perception.The aim of the study is that to estimate the user visual perception with the help of the gestalt theory on residential building facades in Diyarbakır, Diclekent, Mahabad and Şanlıurfa boulevards where the potential of the development is quite higher than other parts of the city. Because of them, the terms perception, visual perception, gestalt theory in visual perception and counterparts of the gestalt theory are conceptual framework of the study.In term of the scope of the study first a literature review has been done for building the conceptual basement of the study. In literature review part the basic parameters have been defined based on the perception, visual perception and basic principles of the gestalt theory. The data about the study area and building facades on this area has been obtained from the public sources and with this data some of the observations, surveys and visual documentations has been done for build a base for the empirical study. In site work a questionnaire has been done with photos of buildings. Digitalization of the data of the questionaries' has helped to analyze the data with statistical methods and based on the statistical analysis the result section has been done and results has been discussed with the literature and conclusions has been done based on this discussions. The SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) software was used in term of the statistical analyzes. The façades of buildings in boulevards has been estimated based on the results of the statistical analyses. Moreover in conclusion there are some estimation about user preferences on building facades which of the properties of the buildings facades effects user preferences and how this properties can be used by designers has been discussed. 230

The goal of this thesis is design of an apartment for chateau Horní hrad. The thesis solves the brief history of chateau Hauenstein with help of archival sources, the process to find an inspiration in current production as well as in historical production and it solves the furnishing of the apartment itself with help of professional companies. It managed to design a stylistically pure interior which evokes a chateau saloon of the era of the nineteenth and the twentieth century. The thesis could be helpful for people who are interested in history of chateau Horní hrad as well as for lovers of an old styled furniture and design beginners.

Konutların mekânsal kuruluş özellikleri incelendiğinde yaşam biçimi, yapılış dönemi özellikleri, mekân kullanımları gibi birçok konuda bilgi edinmek mümkündür. Cumhuriyetin ilanı ile başlayan toplumsal hayattaki değişimler yaşam biçimi ve dünya görüşünü de değiştirmiştir. Değişen yaşam biçimiyle ilişkili olarak konut kullanımı, konut iç mekân dizilişi değişmiştir. Bu çalışma, Cumhuriyet sonrası sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik hayatta yaşanan değişimlerin mimariye ve konut kullanımına etkisini 1968-2010 yılları arasındaki Gaziantep'teki apartmanlar özelinde incelemeyi hedeflemiştir. Çalışmada, geçmişten günümüze Dünya'da ve Türkiye'de konutta yaşanan değişimler incelendikten sonra, Gaziantep'te Cumhuriyet sonrası sosyo-ekonomik hayatta yaşanan değişimler ve bu süreçte konut yapımıyla ilgili politikalardan bahsedilmiştir. Daha sonra çalışma alanı tanıtılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında incelenen konutlar için hazırlanan analiz tablolarına ait bulgular ve genel değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Ek kısmında ise hazırlanan analiz tablolarına yer verilmiştir. It is possible to have information regarding the life style and residence usage styles by analyzing the spatial construction principles. Changes in the social life starting with Proclamanation of the Republic caused in the world view and life style. Residence use indoor organization at residences has been changed related to changing the life style. This study aims analyzing effects of the post Republic changes experienced in the social, cultural and economic changes on the architecture and residence use specific to the residences at Gaziantep between 1968 and 2010 years. After from past the present at the world and in Turkey changing on residence has been analyzed, the post Republic socioeconomic life changes has been mented about residence constuction policies. Batı kökenli bir kavram olan modernite zamanla tüm alanlarda uygulama alanı bulmuş, günlük yaşamı değiştirmiş ve hızla yayılmıştır. Modernleşme sürecinde, yeni malzeme ve teknoloji ile yapılar inşa edilmiş, yapı sürecinde standartlaşma, endüstrileşme gibi tartışmalar başlamış ve yeni bina tipolojileri oluşmaya başlamıştır. Modernizm, en etkili söylemini ise manifestolar aracılığıyla konutta gerçekleştirmiştir. Sıradan ve modern bireyler için yeni yaşam koşullarına uygun, yeni malzeme ve tekniklerle seri üretime olanak sağlayan konforlu, yalın, sağlıklı ve ideal konutun özellikleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Evrensel özelliğe sahip modernleşme süreci, uygulandığı yerin dinamiklerine ve yere özgü durumlara göre farklı uygulamaların ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuştur. Türkiye’de çağdaşlaşmanın bir gereği olarak görülen modernleşme sürecinde kentlerin görünümü değişmiş, geleneksel konutun yerini modern apartmanlar almıştır. Modernleşme süreci, büyük kentlerde yaşanan dönüşümün etkisiyle 20. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında Anadolu kentlerinde etkisini göstermiştir. Bu araştırmada Denizli kentinin modernleşme sürecini okuyabilmek için modern mimari uygulamaları nedeniyle kentlerde hızla uygulanmaya başlanan apartman örnekleri incelenmiştir. Denizli’de 1960 ile 1980 yılları arasında inşa edilen ve modernleşmenin simgesi olarak görülen apartmanların tasarım, uygulama ve kullanım aşamaları araştırılmış, modern mimarlığın kentteki uygulama koşulları ve modern apartmanların yaşadığı değişimler ve bu değişimlerin nedenleri saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde örnekler, alanda yapılan gözlem ve tespitler ile Denizli Belediyesi İmar Müdürlüğü Arşivi’nde yapılan çalışmalar sonucu belirlenmiştir. Örneklerin analiz edilmesi ve değerlendirilmesi aşamasında kullanılan diğer yöntemler literatür çalışması, bulunan projelerin dijital ortama aktarılması ve mimarlarla yapılan kişisel görüşmelerdir. Bu kapsamda, çalışmada öncelikle modernite kavramının oluşumu ve gelişimi incelenmiş, sonrasında modern mimarlık ve konut uygulamalarının Avrupa ve Türkiye’de nasıl gerçekleştirildiği araştırılmıştır. Sonraki bölümde modernleşme süreci kırılma noktası olarak kabul edilerek Denizli kentinin mekânsal gelişimi incelenmiş, Denizli’de inşa edilen geleneksel konut ve modern konutların genel özellikleri ele alınmıştır. Alan çalışmasının yer aldığı bölümde, belirlenen apartmanlar arşiv bilgilerine göre sınıflandırılmış ve tasarım, uygulama ve kullanım süreçleri detaylı olarak analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirildiği sonraki bölümde aktörler, mimari özellikler ve değişimler alt başlıkları ile modern bir konut sunum biçimi olan apartmanların Denizli’de nasıl uygulandığı belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Son olarak belge değerine sahip nitelikli ilk modern apartman örneklerinin kent belleği için önemi belirtilmiş ve geleceğe yönelik öneriler geliştirilmiştir., The concept of modernity represents a separation from tradition, defines a new approach and includes an idea of a powerful change. Modernity, as a western originated concept, found an area of application in every field during the period, changed daily life and spread rapidly. During the modernization era, buildings were constructed with new materials and technology, discussions, such as standardization and industrialization, started and new building typologies emerged. Modernism found its most powerful expression in the field of housings. The aim was to define “Ideal Housing” for ordinary and modern individuals, suited for the new living conditions, enabling mass production with new materials and techniques and providing comfortable, simple and healthy living environment. Modernism, which had universal characteristics, paved way for different implementations in accordance with dynamics and specialties of place and time. The appearance of the cities changed and the traditional housing was replaced with modern apartment buildings during the modernization period in Turkey. This change is regarded as a necessity of modernization. The modernization process began to influence Anatolian cities during the second half of the 20th century as a continuation of the transition, occurring in large cities, such as Istanbul and Ankara. In Denizli, during the 1950s; the traditional garden houses, with few stories, were replaced with apartment buildings as a result of modernization, industrialization, increasing population and rapid urbanization. Apartment buildings, which required a collective type of accommodation and reflected a new life-style, have been built with new materials and techniques due to the increasing demand for housing and rapidly found an area of construction within the city. The aim of this study is to examine the modernization process taking place in the city of Denizli, to study the apartment buildings built in Denizli between 1960 and 1980, and to define the speed and direction of the local modernization and how this modernization took place. In this context, the design, implementation and stages of usage of the first apartment buildings, which are being considered as the symbols of modernization in the city, were examined and the implementation conditions of the modern architecture within the city, the changes these apartment buildings underwent as well as the reasons of these changes were determined. The configuration characteristics, spatial relationships and design criteria of the apartment buildings, subject to this study, and the local implementation of modern housing, the changes endured by these apartment buildings regarding the differing needs during usage and the actors affecting these processes were researched. The examples of the research process were determined by field observations and evaluations as well as archive researches. The other methods used during the analysis and evaluation of the examples were literature review, transfer of the found projects to digital media and personal meetings with architects. The districts in which the initial apartment buildings of the modern period appear were defined in accordance to the literature review as well as the characteristics of these apartment buildings. As a result of the research on the historical urban development of Denizli, the locations of the first apartment buildings built in this city were found to be the districts of Sırakapılar, Saraylar, Atalar, 15 Mayıs, Topraklık and Altıntop. In those areas, many apartment buildings which could be used for research data were found as a result of the analysis and photographing. The block and parcel numbers of the examples specified during the field study were obtained from the municipality and research was conducted at the development directorate of the municipality of Denizli in order to obtain the original projects of these buildings. The 90 apartment building projects, which could be identified on the field and have properties which might contribute to the research, were chosen for detailed evaluation. The map sections of the examples which were obtained and used for the study were kept as blueprints, and they have been transferred to the digital medium in order to create a more comprehensible source document. In this context, both original and renovated floor plans, façades, building surveys, floor additions and etc. of the buildings were re-drawn using computer programs. Therefore, the project drawings added in the appendix with 1/200 scale, have value as a document since they include the scaled plans and the appearances of the structures. The other source of data used during this research was in-person interviews. In order to determine the design criteria, to obtain detailed information regarding the design and production process and to understand the changes performed during the construction process together with their reasons, interviews were conducted with the architects of the projects identified from the data included in the archives. In the light of the obtained information, the first chapter explains the purpose, extent and methodology of the study. The second chapter contains the concepts which form the base of the study. This part discusses the concepts of modernity, modernism, modernization as well as a short examination of the historical progression and the changes of these concepts and proceeds with the investigation of modern architecture and housing processes. Examples of modern housing in Europe, where modernism emerged in the first place; as well as manifestations contributing to modern architecture, and the reasons for the emergence of modern housing are investigated. The Modern Architecture and Housing Process in Turkey, the First National Architecture period, the Modern Architecture period, the Second National Architecture period and the international Modern Architecture period are presented in four subheadings. In the third chapter, the spatial development of the city of Denizli are described. In this chapter, the changes and transformations of the city, beginning from the first settlement period included in the pre-modernization era; as well as the properties of the produced traditional housings, are defined in a historical perspective. The changes in the city caused by the new economic, social and political effects emerging in the modernization era; the reasons for the production of modern housing, and the first modern housing examples built in the city, were examined. In the fourth chapter, the examples determined during the field study and archive research are analyzed in detail. The determination of the general properties of the structures, the schematics and design of the facades was followed by the analysis of the endured changes during the construction and use, in order to provide insight regarding the local implementation of modern housing. The examples were categorized as follows: apartment buildings with original schematics in the archive, apartment buildings where only the renovated schematics could be obtained, and apartment buildings that were demolished. Modern architecture has had the opportunity to be applied globally with its universal nature. Still, because of the unique characteristics of each location, differences can be observed in the implementations. In the fifth chapter where the obtained data of the examples are interpreted and evaluated, a classification is made in order to provide insight on how modern housing was applied in Denizli. Therefore, the factors which influenced the production of the example apartment buildings are defined, the architectural properties of the apartment buildings are evaluated and the changes which were performed during construction and use are identified in this chapter. Tez (Yüksek Lisans) -- İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, 2015, Thesis (M.Sc.) -- İstanbul Technical University, Institute of Science and Technology, 2015, İstanbul'daki 19. yüzyıl apartman konut tipinin başlıca örneklerinden biri olan Büyük Zarifi Apartmanı, günümüze birçok özgün detayıyla birlikte gelmeyi başarmıştır. Beyoğlu ilçesi, Katip Mustafa Çelebi Mahallesi'nde, Pembe Çıkmazı 4 numarada bulunan yapının mimarı Dimitrios Panayotides'tir. Bezeme programı, mimari biçimlenişi, demir makaralardan oluşan kömür taşıma sistemi ve demir çöp kovası gibi özgün donatı elemanları, malzeme ve yapım tekniği ile bir dönemin karakteristik özelliklerini yansıtan yapı, döneminin yeni konut tipi olan "apartman"ı her yönüyle temsil etmektedir. Yapının mevcut durumunun tespitinin yapılması ile belgelenmesi ve korumaya yönelik projelendirme çalışmalarının yapılması, yapının gelecek nesillere sağlıklı bir şekilde aktarılması adına büyük önem taşımaktadır. Tez kapsamında Büyük Zarifi Apartmanı'nın mevcut durumu analitik rölöve çalışmaları ile ayrıntılı olarak incelenerek belgelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda, yapının mekansal yapım tekniği ve malzeme özellikleri, zaman içerisinde oluşan hasar ve bozulmalar ile kullanıcıları tarafından yapılan müdahaleler tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan araştırma ve çalışmalar sonucunda, elde edilen yapının özgün haline yönelik verilerle bir restitüsyon önerisi geliştirilmiştir. Yapının günümüzdeki çatısının özgün olmadığı ve özgününde teras çatı ile kırma çatının birlikte kullanılması ile oluşan bir üst örtüye sahip olduğu saptanmıştır. Demir makaralardan oluşan kömür taşıma sistemi ve demir çöp kovası gibi yapının özgün donatı elemanlarının işleyişlerine dair öngörülerde bulunulmuştur. Günümüzde konut ve ticaret işlevleri yüklenen, Beyoğlu Merkez Rum Kız Mektebi Vakfı'na ait yapıya restorasyon çalışmaları kapsamında verilecek yeni işlevin, yapıya en az müdahale etmeyi gerektirecek ve yapıyı en doğru şekilde ifade edecek bir işlev olmasına dikkat edilmiştir. Yapının bulunduğu Beyoğlu ilçesi, turizm ve ticaret işlevine sahip yapıların bölgedeki artışıyla kültür ve sanat merkezi olma özelliğini yitirme tehlikesi ile karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Özgün işlevi olan konut kullanımını, değişen bölge koşulları sebebiyle devam ettirmekte zorlanan Büyük Zarifi Apartmanı'nın "Rum Kültürünü Araştırma Merkezi (RUKAM)" olarak yeniden işlevlendirilmesi önerilmektedir. RUKAM, kültür ve sanat yoluyla ulusal ve evrensel, geleneksel ve çağdaş değerler arasında sürekli ve kalıcı bir etkileşim sağlamayı hedefleyen bir karşılaşma ve diyalog mekanı olarak tanımlanabilir. Yeniden işlevlendirmeyi kapsayan restorasyon projesinde özgün plan şemasının korunmasına ve yapının özgün mekansal özellikleri ile cephe düzeninin yeni işlevine en az müdahale ile uyarlanmasına özen gösterilmiştir. İşlevlendirme öncesinde yapı için en kısa zamanda mevcut hasar ve bozulmalarının giderilmesine yönelik önerilen müdahalelerin gerçekleştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Temizleme, sağlamlaştırma, bütünleme gibi müdahaleler yapılmadığı sürece her geçen gün yapının daha fazla bozulmasına sebebiyet veren sorunlar ortadan kalkmayacaktır. Yapının sağlıklı bir şekilde yaşatılabilmesi adına önerilen restorasyon çalışmalarının yapılmasının ardından, yapının sürekli bakımının düzenli olarak sağlanması gereklidir., This study aims to document the recent condition of Grand Zarifi Apartment, which is located on the lot numbered 29, in block 469, in Katip Mustafa Celebi Neighborhood, in Beyoglu district of Istanbul city, to examine the historical development and to prepare a restoration project for the conservation and sustenance of the building. Even though no information regarding its year of construction was found, due to its architectural style resembling Art Nouveau and based on studied maps and documents, Grand Zarifi Apartment, the architect of which is Dimitrios Panayotides, can be dated back to 1858 – 1883. Grand Zarifi Apartment was built by Eleni Zarifi, who is a member of a great banker family which is called Zarifi Family. The building, which reflects the apartment design concept of its time, has largely preserved its authenticity with its ornaments, building components, local features and construction techniques. The reasons why Grand Zarifi Apartment was chosen as the subject of this study are, beside its above-mentioned features, the facts that it has not been documented with a project drawing up to now and it is in need of an urgent restoration. Grand Zarifi Apartment has first seen at d'Ostoya maps, which is prepared between 1858 – 1860, as two volids with Minor Zarifi Apartment. Based on 1868 – 1945 Oriental Trade Directories (Annauarie Orientale) studies, Grand Zarifi Apartment is registered in 1883 at Pembe Impasse for the first time and defined as "Ecole la Communaute Grecque de Filles" which means "Greek School for Girls". Eleni Zarifi, who was built the Zarifi Apartments, was a very charitable person and especially she doted on orphans. Eleni Zarifi helped Yedikule Balıklı Greek Orphanage so many different ways, consistently. In 1888, Yedikule Orphanage was decided to transfer to Big Island (Gr. Prinkipo) because of its population increase; but, due to problems arising between the Greek community and the Ottoman state, the orphans could not tranfer to Big Island. As a solution, the orphans were located to Zarifi Apartments, temporarily. By this way, between 1888 and 1903, Grand Zarifi Apartment was a place for orphans. On the other hand in that period, an orphanage should had an educational mission for to get permission from the Ottoman state. So, this is the reason that Grand Zarifi Apartment was registered as 'school' at Oriental Trade Directories. 1904 – 1906 Goad maps present Grand Zarifi Apartment, not only with its borders; also with its construction type, storey height, opennings and entries, roof style and covering informations and defined as "Apparts de L'ephorie Greoque" which means "Apartments Belonging to Greeks". For the first time in 1912, Grand Zarifi Apartments was also registered as "Apartments" with its residents at Oriental Trade Directories. In the Ottoman Empire, the first examples of apartment building typology was built in Beyoğlu - Pera. The process to apartments from single family dwellings, was evolver and gradual. The factors behind this process are related to increase in population at that district by economic development in Galata. Commercial development within in the city walls in Galata by floating trade, caused to residential reduction in parallel with population growth in this district. In those years, fluent transportation network and new dwellings became the mandatory requirements for this area. As a solution, Beyoglu municipality, which was named "6th District", decided to destruction of Galata city walls. By this, the transmission between Galata and Pera gained strength and also new lots occured for dwelling necessity. At the same time in the 19th century, western investments founded a new balance of traditional and modernist impressions. The westernization related to the western residents of the district affected lifestyles and everyday life habits. As a result of this and population growth, especially from the middle of the 19th century, new kinds of housing forms evolved. 1904 – 1906 Goad maps express this evolution by separating dwellings into three groups; maisons, habitations and apartments. Habitations represent multi-family dwellings that occured between maisons which can defined as traditional single-family dwellings and apartments. In habitations, storeys were not completely seperated from each other because of the common use wet areas such as toilets and kitchens which were mostly placed in the ground floor; so, the residents must share the same habitat in the building. After wet areas were located to every storey and then every flat, the floors literally apart from each other and the apartment type dwelling was born. Grand Zarifi Apartment is the earliest samples of these type of dwelling with its space organization, construction materials and details such as mechanical bells above the entrance doors of the flats. It is essential that Grand Zarifi Apartment is restored and given an appropriate function so that a building of such importance is conserved and this heritage is transferred to the next generations. In the context of this study, interventions for repair and proposed technique methods are explained in detail. Because of the transformation that occur over time in the region, the building has difficulty to maintain its dwelling function that the original function. It is considered that the building, which is owned by Beyoglu Merkez Rum Kiz Mektebi Vakfi, should assume a function that respond the requirements of foundation and the region as well as the building itself. Against the case that forming the identity of the Beyoglu district of arts and culture facts will be in demand to replace with tourism and trade, Grand Zarifi Apartment is recommended that used as Research Centre for Rum Culture and Art (RUKAM). The general objectives of the RUKAM are: to engage conservation, documentation and dissemination of archival material relevant to Rum community; dissemination of the archival material to researchers as a means to promoting research, as well as to second and third generation refugees interested in their culture and to research and documentation of information of oral and written historical tradition, as well as the publication of scientific studies and monographs. To sum up, RUKAM can defined as a meeting and dialogue point that aims to achieve continuous and permanent interaction between national and universal values as much as traditional and contemporary values via culture and the arts., Yüksek Lisans, M.Sc.

Rad analizira postojeće stanje i probleme pri opremanju apartmana, te daje prijedlog za rješenje istog. U uvodnom dijelu dat je osvrt na principe i kriterije projektiranja apartmana i na koji se, kao glavna smjernica za daljnji rad, nadovezuje Pravilnik o razvrstavanju, kategorizaciji i posebnim standardima ugostiteljskih objekata iz skupine apartmani. Poglavlje uvodi čitatelja u sve dijelove i sobe apartmana i upozorava na nužnost opreme koja je apartmanu potrebna za postizanje očekivanog zadovoljstva kod gosta. Kao podrijetlo apartmana o kojem se govori u radu odabran je otok Murter, stoga je u poglavlju „Otok Murter“ dat kratak opis mjesta, njegove zanimljivosti i zemljopisni prikaz istog. Ukratko je opisana baština odabranog kraja radi lakšeg shvaćanja mentaliteta stanovnika i života prije i sada. U „Indeksu dizajna“ data je usporedba između već postojećih apartmana u Hrvatskoj i inozemstvu. „Analizi problema“ posvećeno je najviše vremena radi detaljnog ulaska u probleme uređivanja apartmana, te nedostatka literature. Pojašnjen je pojam apartmana i njegov povijesni razvoj kao ugostiteljskog objekta. Pregledom razvoja apartmana i ugostiteljstva općenito u svijetu i Republici Hrvatskoj kao i osobina ugostiteljskih objekata ostvarena je mogućnost kritičke analize sadašnjeg stanja u našoj zemlji, uz navođenje pozitivnih primjera i planova za budućnost. Daljnji tijek rada posvećen je idejama za gotovi proizvod, podrijetlo njegovog oblika, materijala, obrade i konstrukcije. Detaljno je opisan život na Murteru u doba djetinjstva naših baka i djedova, te uvod u život kakav je danas. Sve te zanimljivosti potrebne su radi boljeg uređenja namještaja i prostora apartmana, konkretno na otoku Murteru, kako bi se turist koji boravi u apartmanu uistinu osjećao poistovijećen s okruženjem, autohtonim obilježjima i baštinom , koje bi istim obilježjima toliko zainteresirale turista da ostane još duže i, na kraju, da se vrati ponovno i isto okruženje. U zadnjem dijelu rada detaljno je opisano izvedbeno rješenje kao primjer namještaja kakvim bi apartmani trebali biti opremljeni. Od prikazanih idejnih skica odabran je koncept blagovaoničkog stola, koji je prikazan oblikovno-dizajnerski te detaljno razrađen i prikazan konstrukcijskim prikazima i detaljima. Rješenje prikazano u radu idejno povezuje mjesto i proizvod, a smještanjem u intreijere apartmana specifičnog okruženja svakom gostu - turistu omogućava poistovjećivanje i razumijevanje lokalne zajednice i autohtonih vrijednosti mjesta. Ovakvim prostupom u opremanju apartmana na drugim lokacijama i podnebljima u Republici Hrvatskoj omogućilo bi se stvaranje specifičnih brandova koji bi stvarali prepoznatljiva okruženja, u kojima bi i vlasnici, i lokalna uprava ali i proizvođači namještaja i brojni drugi sudionici imali svoju značajnu ulogu u stvaranji imidža hrvatske turističke ponude.

The aim of the thesis is to identify an apartment product and its potential in comparison to the hotel industry within Prague market of accommodation. Focus is given to a special form of apartments -- serviced apartments. First part examines theoretical features. Important is discussion about the standardization and categorization of apartments on the market of accommodation facilities. This is later consulted with foreign experience. The main part includes SWOT analysis of accommodation products, price comparison and questionnaire. Based on mentioned analysis and evaluation of the development of Prague accommodation demand can be stated potential of this "new" product.

Mimarlığın; insanlara mutlu ve rahat bir yasam sürdürebilmeleri için gerekli mekânları, oluşturan bir süreç olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu sürecin sonunda mekânlar yapıları, yapılar sokakları, sokaklar kentleri ve kentler ülkeleri oluşturmaktadır. Ülkelerin, kentlerin ve sokakların, kendilerine ait mimari özellikleri ve kimlikleri vardır. Bu kimlik, toplumun kültürel, sosyal, ekonomik, politik ve teknolojik durumunun bir gösterimidir ve genelde mekânın dışa yansıması olan cephe ve kütle ile ilgilidir. Mimaride yapıların cephesi, mimari oluşumlarda, geçmişten bugüne üzerinde en çok durulan ve sürekli değişime açık olan bir konu olmuştur. Bu çalışmada; apartman yapılarının dış cephelerinin irdelenmesi ele alınmış, bu yapılarda kullanılan malzemeler irdelenmiş, yapılarda ne tür malzemelerin kullanıldığı, bu malzemelerin görsel etkinliği ve Konya ilinde bulunan apartmanların cepheleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümünde; çalışmanın amacı, kapsamı, materyal ve metoduna yönelik bilgiler verilerek, çalışmanın gerekliliği üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde; Konya'nın tarihsel ve mimari gelişimi ele alınarak, Konya'daki apartman yapılarının tarihi hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; cephe kavramı ve tarihsel süreç içindeki gelişiminden bahsedilerek, yapılarda kullanılan malzemelerin tarih içindeki gelişimi anlatılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde; Konya ilinde seçilen apartmanlar bir katalog halinde ayrı ayrı tanıtılmıştır. İncelenen her bir yapının mimari özellikleri, kat planları, cepheleriyle ve fotoğraflarıyla desteklenerek detaylı şekilde ele alınmıştır. Beşinci bölümde ise incelenen araştırma bölgesinde uygulanan apartmanların tamamı esas alınarak değerlendirme ve karşılaştırma bölümü şeklinde sonuç başlığı altında toplanmıştır., It is known that Architecture is a Process that forms necessary places in order to provide pleased and comfortable life to people. With this process buildings are formed by places, streets are formed by buildings, cities are formed by streets, countries are formed by cities. Countries, cities and streets have their own identity and architecture features. This identity shows the cultural, social, economic, political and technological situation of a society and generally it is related to side and mass which are outside reflection of a place. In architecture the side of contructions is one of the major topic to be concentrated and open for development from past to present. In this study the consideration of external sides belonging to apartment buildings, which type of equipments are used in this constructions, visual effects of these Equipments are discussed, Moreover information about the side of buildings located in Konya is given. This study consists of 5 parts. In the first part; It is emphasized the necessity of the study by giving information about purpose, scope, materials and methods. In second part Konya?s historical and Architectural development is explained with the information about history of apartment buildings which are constructed in Konya In third part; side concept and its development in historical process are explained and development of equipments used in construction during time is mentioned. In forth part; selected apartment buildings in Konya is introduced one by one as a catalogue. Architectural features, flat plans and sides of every analyzed construction are explained in details supported by photos In fifth part; in the research field, whole applied apartment buildings are predicated on as a comparison and discussion part is gathered under the topic of evaluation and conclusion.

Bu konut sitelerinin oluşum süreci, 1980’lerden itibaren büyük sermayeli yatırımcıların konut sektörüne girmesi ile başlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, dışa kapalı konut sitelerinin oluşum süreci incelenmektedir. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde, tezin konusu özetlenmektedir. İkinci bölümde, çalışmanın temel amacı, kapsamı ve yöntemi yer almaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde, sanayileşme ve hızlı kentleşme ile değişen Türkiye’nin sosyal ve ekonomik yapısına değinilmektedir. Hızlı kentleşmenin yarattığı konut açığı ve bu açığın karşılanmasında kullanılan konut üretim sistemleri anlatılmaktadır. These highly secure and closed structure houses were most suitable for high-rank administrative people. The residential form of these housing estates closed to outside is apartment. These houses are built in the big cities of Turkey, especially in Istanbul. This thesis consists of six parts. It is about the process of the formation of housing estates closed to outside designed for high-income groups in Turkey. In the first part of the study, the process of the formation of housing estates closed to outside is defined and the study is summarized. In the second part, the aim, the boundaries and the method of the study are defined. The third part is about the social and the economic structure of Turkey and the house demand, which increased by reasons of industrialisation and rapid urbanisation after 1950’s. This part consist the housing systems in Turkey, used to supply the house demand. The housing systems are determined in four chapter; Mass Housing, Built-Sell (Speculative) Housing, Squatter Settlement and The process of the apartment. The fourth part is about the social, cultural and physical factors and groups, which form the housing estates closed to outside. In this part of the study, the process of the formation of the housing estates closed to outside is explained. In the fifth part, the examples of these houses are determined. Bahçe içindeki evler yerlerini, birden fazla ailenin, ayrı katlarda yaşadığı yüksek, bitişik nizam binalara bırakmaya başlamıştır. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun son yıllarından başlayarak ve hep “ilk”lere imza atarak mesleki çalışmalarını sürdüren Vedat Tek o yıllarda 57 yaşlarındadır. Genç yaşlarından itibaren yaptığı binalar kamuoyunda hep büyük bir beğeni ve yüceltme ile karşılanmışken 1930’larda durum tersine dönmeye başlamıştır. İdeolojiler yön değiştirmiş, binalar “kübik” olmaya başlamış, mimarın “milli mimari” arayışları da bu oranda gözden düşmüştür. Bu tez çalışması kapsamında, Vedat Tek’in tasarlayıp uyguladığı ve aynı zamanda önerdiği, dönemin yeni konutu: apartman üzerinde gerçekleştirilen bir işlevsel analiz çalışması ile mimarın konu hakkında yazdıkları karşılaştırılmıştır. Düşünce ve tasarımlarının ardındaki örüntü anlamaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın sonucu olarak ortaya çıkan konut konusundaki eleştirel bakışının ve rasyonel çözümlerinin, mimarın diğer yapıları için geçerliliği de soru olarak ortaya konmuştur. Mimar ve yapılarının, gerek yaşadığı günlerde, gerek bugüne kadar gelinen süreçte genellikle “Birinci Milli Mimari Hareketi” çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiş olması, onu ve yapılarını değerlendirme kriterlerini çeşitlendirme gereğini doğurmuş ve çalışma bu amaca yönelik olarak geliştirilmiştir., Vedat Tek (1873-1942) whose name is always remembered together with the First National Architectural Movement, had been the “first” in various topics during his life. He was the first Muslim Turk to practise from his own office, and the first Turkish Imperial Chief Architect (1904-1908). He realised quite big and important projects in his young age. Examples include the City Hall in Kastamonu (1902), and the Ministry of Postal and Telegraphical Services in Sirkeci (1904-1909). In 1930’s the ideological changes in the country begun to have a negative effect upon his reputation. In the same years the new housing trend of apartment houses were imported (!). Vedat Tek was critical of this change because he was reluctant to lose the old values, for instance, the one or two storey Istanbul houses set in gardens. He pointed out that the new apartment buildings were not properly built. In one of the architectural magazines dating 1931, he drew attention to the problems regarding these new buildings and offered solutions by providing sample projects. In this thesis, his two sample apartment projects (which were realised), and three sample projects given in the same article are analysed functionally and the results are compared with his thoughts written in the article. The results show that there were three main criteria in his designs: privacy, health and comfort. The spaces were organised according to these criteria. The dimensions and other properties (being at the corner or in between two buildings) of the parcel had given organisational alternatives. However, the basic concept had never changed. The results show that the architect was taking quite rational decisions. Could this result be generalised and applied to his other projects too? Or was this a natural result of the ideological changes taking place within the country? With this result and question it is aimed to draw attention to the other aspects of his architecture other than the First National Architectural Movement’s principles., Yüksek Lisans, M.Sc.

İkinci alt-başlığın çerçevesinde Galata’daki Ceneviz yerleşmesinin tarihsel, sosyal, ekonomik ve fiziksel açıdan incelenmesine yer verilmektedir. Bu inceleme Ceneviz devri öncesi Galata ve Ceneviz’lerin Galata’ya yerleşmesi adlı iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. İkinci bölümün üçüncü alt-başlığının çerçevesinde İstanbul’un fethinden Tanzimat’a kadar Galata ve Pera’nın tarihsel, ekonomik, sosyal ve fiziksel gelişimi ele alınmakta bu çerçevede de Galata vePera’daki Avrupalı nüfusun, ticaret faaliyetlerin ve elçiliklerin bölgenin fiziksel gelişimine olan etkileri incelenilmektedir. Dördüncü alt-başlığın çerçevesinde Osmanlı’da Batılılaşma ve Reform hareketlerinin Galata ve Pera’nın fiziksel gelişimine etkileri ele alınmaktadır. Beşinci alt-başlığın çerçevesinde 19’uncu yüzyılda Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’undaki siyasi ve ticari gelişmelerin Galata ve Pera bölgelerinin demografik yapısıyla fiziki büyümesine etkileri ve şehir yönetimindeki reformlar incelenilmektedir. Galata and Pera is composed of six sections. The first section is an introductory part and is composed of two sub-sections. Within the framework of the first sub-section, the definition and the aims of the problem are stated. Whereas within the scheme of the second sub-section the area it covers and the methods are presented. In the second section the historical, economic and physical evolution of the European type settlements in Galata and Pera are evoluated. This section is composed of six sub-sections. Within the framework of the first sub-section “the establishment of Latin colonies” in İstanbul is analyzed. The second sub-section deals with the Genoese settlements in Galata from the historical, social, economic and physical point of view. This analysis is formed of two districtive parts named respectively Galata before the Genoese era and the settlement of the Genoese in Galata. In he third sub-section of the second part the historical, economic, social and physical evolution of Galata and Pera from the conquest of Istanbul until the Tanzimat is treated and within the same framework the effects of the European population’s commercial activities and of the embassies in Galata and Pera on the physical development of the area are analysed. The fourth sub-section includes the influences of westernization and the reform movements in the Ottoman Empire on the physical development of Galata and Pera. The fifth sub-section covers the effects of political and commercial development in the Ottoman Empire in the 19th c. on the demografhic structure and physical growth of the Galata and Pera district and reforms realized in the field of the city administration. Whereas the sixth sub-section deals with social life in 19th c. Galata and Pera. In the third section the evoluation of the Apartment-house in 19th c. Europe is mentioned. This section is composed of two sub-sections. Within the framework of the first sub-section an analysis of European cities from the industrial revolution till the 19th c. is done. This analysis is composed of three parts named respectively the physical enviroment in the industrial revoluation, the postliberal city and he conceptual and physical effects of the postliberal city on 19th c. Istanbul. In this third sections subjects like the big projects realized for 19 th c. Istanbul, the organization of he city’s texture and its physical effects on the Galata-Pera district and the place of the new transportation systems of 19th c. Istanbul on the physical development of Galata and Pera districts are treated. The second sub-section of the third section deals with economic, political and cultural factors affecting housing construction in 19th c. Europe and the evoluation of the Apartment-house is analyzed. In the fourth section of the study the evolution of 19th c. Apartment-house in Galata and Pera is analyzed. This part is composed of four sub-sections. The first sub-section gives the definition of the concept of Apartment-house. Within the framework of the second sub-section the various forms of 19th c. urban houses in Istanbul are presented. In the third sub-section factors affecting the formation of specific 19th c. housing forms in Istanbul are mentioned. Whereas the fourth sub-section deals with the specific 19th c. housing form in Galata and Pera. In the fifth part the evolution of the “central sofa-hall” typology in 19th c. Galata and Pera Apartment-house is analyzed. This part is composed of two sub-sections. The first sub-section treats the historical evolution of the traditional Ottoman house, its plan types and the elements in its spatial organization are presented. The second sub-section presents a classification of the “central sofa-hall” typology in 19th c. Galata and Pera Apartment-houses.The second sub-section is handled in four parts. In the first part a multi-story house example in 19th c. Galata an Pera district is analyzed. In the second section the Arif Paşa which is an example for the authentic Apartment-house is presented. In the third section the analysis of the functional relationships of the “central sofa-hall” of 19th c. Galata and Pera Apartment-house, the analysis of the relationships of this space with the staircase well, its position within the function scheme of the residence area and its relationship with other spaces are presented. In the fourth part of the second sub-section the formal analysis of the central sofa-hall in the Galata and Pera Apartment-houses is made. In the last section, a short summary of this study is done and it is made clear that the central sofa-hall in the independent house unit in 19th c. Galata and Pera Apartment-houses is a reflection of the central sofa of the traditional Ottoman house plan concept and bringing the attention to the fact that the central sofa tradition undergoing a progressive evolution over centuries being transformed into the central sofa-hall in the apartment architecture comes to life again, it is demonstrated that this plan typology being confronted to disappear under false protection policies has to be protected specially., Doktora, PhD

Predmetom tejto diplomovej práce je návrh novostavby penziónu so 4 podlažiami. Penzión sa nachádza v katastrálnom území Domažlice, v centre mesta Domažlice. Budova penziónu je samostatne stojaca a čiastočne podpivničená. V dome sa nachádza jedno podzemné podlažie a tri nadzemné podlažia. V podlaží 1.NP sa nachádza prevádzka reštaurácie, 2 konferenčné sály a zázemie prevádzky penziónu. Podlažia 2.NP a 3.NP slúžia pre ubytovanie hostí. Na podlaží 2.NP sa nachádza 14 dvojlôžkových izieb a 1 izba dispozične upravená pre dve imobilné osoby. Na podlaží 3.NP sa nachádza 12 dvojlôžkových izieb a dva dvojlôžkové apartmány. Suterén budovy slúži pre parkovanie a ako technické zázemie objektu. Zastrešenie objektu je riešené dvoma typmi striech. Trojpodlažná časť objektu je zastrešená jednoplášťovou plochou strechou a jednopodlažná časť objektu je zastrešená vegetačnou plochou strechou. Konštrukčný systém sa skladá z monolitického betónového skeletu, ktorý je vystužený murovanou časťou. Obvodový plášť je zateplený kontaktným zatepľovacím systémom. Jednopodlažná časť objektu a zadná časť objektu má fasádu riešenú fasádnym obkladom. Dokumentácia diplomovej práce je spracovaná pre zhotovenie stavby. Výkresová časť je spracovaná programom Autodesk Autocad. Tepelne technické výpočty sú riešené programom Svoboda software., The aim of this diploma thesis is a project of a new building of a penzion with four floors. Penzion is situated in cadastral area Domažlice, in the centre of the town Domažlice. The building of penzion is free standing and it´s partially with a basement. There is one basement floor and three floors in this building. There is a facilities for restaurant, 2 conference halls and facillities for penzion on the first floor of building. The second and third floor are used for the accommodation of guests. There are 14 double rooms and one room for two immobile persons on the second floor. On the third floor, there are 12 double rooms and two double apartment. The basement of the building is used for parking and technical facilities of penzion. Roof of the building is designed two types of roofs. Three floors part of the building is covered by warm flat roof and the one floor part of the building is covered by green roof. Structural system consists of the cast – in – place concrete frame which is reinforced by masonry walls. Building envelope is insulated with contact thermal insulation. Facade of the one – floor part of the building and the back part of the building is designed from facade panels. Documentation of the diploma thesis is prepared for the building contruction. The graphical part of documentation has been processed in the Autodesk Autocad software. Thermal assesment has been processed in Svoboda software.

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je novostavba rodinného domu ve městě Boží Dar, který leží v horské oblasti. Rodinný dům je podsklepený, jednopatrový s obytným podkrovím. Objekt je rozdělen na tři dispoziční jednotky. První bytová jednotka se nachází v 1.NP a je navržena pro bydlení. Zbylé bytové jednotky jsou umístěné v podkroví a jsou určené jako apartmány pro krátkodobý či dlouhodobý pronájem. Objekt je navržen jako zděný z broušených cihelných bloků s keramickou stropní konstrukcí. Obvodové zdivo je zatepleno kontaktním zateplovacím systémem a částečně obloženo kamenným obkladem. Střecha objektu je sedlová. Stavební pozemek ubíhá do svahu směrem k severovýchodní straně. Veškeré konstrukce odpovídají platným vyhláškám a normám ČSN., The subject of this diploma work is the new building of a family house at Boží Dar town, that is situated in the mountain resort. The family house has a cellar, it is two storied with an attic apartment. The building is devided into three units . The first unit is found on the first floor and is designed as an apartment. The other units are situated in the attic and are designed for a short-term or long-term renting. The house is designed of cut bricks with a ceramic ceiling construction. The perimeter wall is thermally insulated with a contact insulating system and partly covered with a stony facing. There is a saddle-shaped roof on the house. The building site is sloping north-east. All constructions are in accordance with the valid regulations and ČSN standards.

Diplomová práce zpracovává projektovou dokumentaci k objektu Sportovně rehabilitačního střediska v Brně-Bystrc. Objekt je čtyřpodlažní a částečně podsklepený. V 1S se nachází bazén se saunou, tělocvična a fitness spolu s potřebným zázemím (šatny, toalety, sprchy) pro všechny nabízené aktivity. V 1NP se nachází vstup do objektu, recepce pro ubytování, restaurace a kuchyně pro restauraci. 2NP je určeno pro rehabilitační ordinace. V 1 a 2NP jsou navrženy hygienické prostory pro návštěvníky restaurace a pacienty ordinací. Ve 3NP je navrženo 9 apartmánů pro víkendové pobyty. Apartmány umožňují vstup na lodžie. Základy jsou tvořeny základovými pasy. Objekt je zděný a zateplen pomocí provětrávané fasády. Nosnou konstrukci krovu tvoří sedlový vazník., This master´s thesis elaborates a project documentation of sports rehabilitation center in Brno–Bystrc. The building object is four-storeyed and a partial basement. On the basement floor there is a pool with sauna, gym and fitness with support to assist for all activities offered. On the ground floor there is an entrance, reception for accommodation, restaurant and kitchen for the restaurant. The 2nd overground floors is determined by the rehabilitation clinic. On the grand and overground floor are designed sanitary appliances for the restaurant and patient surgeries. There are projected 9 apartments for weekend accommodation. Apartments allow access to the terrace. Foundations are made strip foundations. The building object is bricked and insulated with ventilated facades. Load bearing structure of the roof create roof trusses.

Diplomová práce si klade za cíl analyzovat efektivnost investičního projektu výstavby horského apartmánového domu. Podkladem pro posouzení hodnocené investice vybranými metodami je návrh konkrétního investičního projektu. V závěru jsou výsledky metod zhodnoceny. Autorka přidává i vlastní návrh řešení a doporučení., The objective of the diploma thesis is to analyze the effectiveness of the investment project for the construction of the ski resort apartment house. The design of a particular investment project serves as the basis for the evaluation of the rated investments by using the selected methods. As a conclusion, the results of the methods are evaluated. The author also adds her own suggestion and recommendation.

Předmětem bakalářské práce je zhotovení projektové dokumentace pro stavební povolení a části dokumentace pro provádění stavby na základě architektonické studie, která byla vypracována v předmětu AG035 – Ateliér architektonické tvorby 5 v letním semestru 3. ročníku na téma obytné stavby. Tématem této studie byla rekonstrukce stávajících objektů a výstavba nových objektů za účelem vzniku apartmánového resortu. Řešený pozemek se nachází na území obce Velké Karlovice ve Zlínském Kraji. Konceptem architektonického řešení bylo zachovat co největší část stávajících objektů, zjednodušit jejich vzhled, adaptovat stávající dispozice na investorovy požadavky. Nosný systém stávajících objektů i jejich tvar tedy zůstává zachován. V návrhu 1. NP řešeného objektu dojde k přebudování sklepů na 4 garáže s příjezdem ze západní strany, za kterými se budou v každém z těchto objektů nacházet 4 menší sklepy, větší společný sklep (lyžárna), výtah a technická místnost. V každém obytném podlaží (2. NP a 3. NP) budou dva byty s dispozicí 2+kk (zádveří, koupelna s WC, ložnice, obývací pokoj s kuchyní a jídelnou) a dva byty s dispozicí 3+kk (zádveří, koupelna, WC, ložnice, dětský pokoj, obývací pokoj s kuchyní a jídelnou). Všechny byty mají balkon z obývacího pokoje s kuchyní a jídelnou směrem na západ. Fasády stávajících budov budou v odstínu vanilkově bílé. Na severní stranu bude přikotvena ocelová mřížka, která poroste zelení a vytvoří tak zelenou fasádu. Vhodnými rostlinami pro tento účel jsou hortenzie řapíkatá, podražec velkolistý, popínavý břečťan a loubinec trojlaločný. Na jižní straně objektu bude předsazená fasáda ze solárních panelů. Střechy budou pokryty černými střešními taškami a spolu s balkony budou v exteriéru podbity smrkovými latěmi., The subject of the bachelor thesis is the preparation of project documentation for building permits and parts of documentation for the implementation of the building on the basis of an architectural study, which was prepared in the course AG035 - Architectural Design Studio 5 in the summer semester of the 3rd year on the topic of residential buildings. The subject of this study was the renovation of existing buildings and the construction of new buildings to create an apartment resort. The land in question is located in the municipality of Velké Karlovice in the Zlín Region. The concept of the architectural solution was to preserve as much of the existing buildings as possible, simplify their appearance, adapt the existing layout to the investor's requirements. The supporting system of the existing buildings and their shape is therefore preserved. In the design of the 1st floor of the building current cellars will be rebuilt into 4 garages with access from the west side, behind which there will be 4 smaller cellars, a larger common cellar (ski room), a lift and a technical room. On each residential floor (2nd floor and 3rd floor) there will be two apartments with 2+kk layout (entrance hall, bathroom with toilet, bedroom, living room with kitchen and dining room) and two apartments with 3+kk layout (entrance hall, bathroom, toilet, bedroom, children's room, living room with kitchen and dining room). All apartments have a balcony from the living room with kitchen and dining room facing west. The facades of the existing buildings will be in a shade of vanilla white. A steel trellis will be attached to the north side and will grow through the greenery to create a green façade. Suitable plants for this purpose are hydrangea petiole, big-leafed understory, climbing ivy and trifoliate ivy. On the south side of the building there will be a front facade made of solar panels. The roofs will be covered with black roof tiles.

Střechy budou pokryty černými střešními taškami a spolu s balkony budou v exteriéru podbity smrkovými latěmi., The subject of the bachelor thesis is the preparation of project documentation for building permits and parts of documentation for the implementation of the building on the basis of an architectural study, which was prepared in the course AG035 - Architectural Design Studio 5 in the summer semester of the 3rd year on the topic of residential buildings. The subject of this study was the renovation of existing buildings and the construction of new buildings to create an apartment resort. The land in question is located in the municipality of Velké Karlovice in the Zlín Region. The concept of the architectural solution was to preserve as much of the existing buildings as possible, simplify their appearance, adapt the existing layout to the investor's requirements. The supporting system of the existing buildings and their shape is therefore preserved. In the design of the 1st floor of the building current cellars will be rebuilt into 4 garages with access from the west side, behind which there will be 4 smaller cellars, a larger common cellar (ski room), a lift and a technical room. On each residential floor (2nd floor and 3rd floor) there will be two apartments with 2+kk layout (entrance hall, bathroom with toilet, bedroom, living room with kitchen and dining room) and two apartments with 3+kk layout (entrance hall, bathroom, toilet, bedroom, children's room, living room with kitchen and dining room). All apartments have a balcony from the living room with kitchen and dining room facing west. The facades of the existing buildings will be in a shade of vanilla white. A steel trellis will be attached to the north side and will grow through the greenery to create a green façade. Suitable plants for this purpose are hydrangea petiole, big-leafed understory, climbing ivy and trifoliate ivy. On the south side of the building there will be a front facade made of solar panels. The roofs will be covered with black roof tiles.

Předmětem bakalářské práce je zhotovení projektové dokumentace pro stavební povolení a části dokumentace pro provádění stavby na základě architektonické studie, která byla vypracována v předmětu AG035 – Ateliér architektonické tvorby 5 v letním semestru 3. ročníku na téma obytné stavby. Tématem této studie byla rekonstrukce stávajících objektů a výstavba nových objektů za účelem vzniku apartmánového resortu. Řešený pozemek se nachází na území obce Velké Karlovice ve Zlínském Kraji. Konceptem architektonického řešení bylo zachovat co největší část stávajících objektů, zjednodušit jejich vzhled, adaptovat stávající dispozice na investorovy požadavky. Nosný systém stávajících objektů i jejich tvar tedy zůstává zachován. V návrhu 1. NP řešeného objektu dojde k přebudování sklepů na 4 garáže s příjezdem ze západní strany, za kterými se budou v každém z těchto objektů nacházet 4 menší sklepy, větší společný sklep (lyžárna), výtah a technická místnost. V každém obytném podlaží (2. NP a 3. NP) budou dva byty s dispozicí 2+kk (zádveří, koupelna s WC, ložnice, obývací pokoj s kuchyní a jídelnou) a dva byty s dispozicí 3+kk (zádveří, koupelna, WC, ložnice, dětský pokoj, obývací pokoj s kuchyní a jídelnou). Všechny byty mají balkon z obývacího pokoje s kuchyní a jídelnou směrem na západ. Fasády stávajících budov budou v odstínu vanilkově bílé. Řešená stavba má tři nadzemní podlaží a je zastřešena plochými střechami. Hotel splňuje podmínky čtyřhvězdičkového (****) ekonomického standardu. Je navržen s 24 ubytovacími jednotkami s celkovou kapacitou pro ubytování 52 osob (z toho pro 4 osoby se sníženou schopností pohybu a orientace ve 3.NP) a restauračním provozem pro 92 hostů, sociálním zázemím a kuchyní. Apartmány a pokoje pro hosty jsou umístěny ve 2. a 3. NP. V přízemí se nachází reprezentativní prostory hotelu v podobě vstupní haly s recepcí, prostory pro vedení hotelu, prostory pro technické zázemí stavby a restaurace s vlastní kuchyní. Stavba splňuje požadavek pro objekty s téměř nulovou spotřebou energie, a to kombinací kvalitního konstrukčního řešení se zateplením obálky budovy a dalších technologických řešení jako jsou fotovoltaická elektrárna či hlubinné vrty pro vytápění s tepelnými čerpadly. Celkový charakter objektu podtrhuje jeho architektonické řešení v duchu moderního obložení provětrávané fasády pomocí cementovláknitích desek, jejichž dvoubarevná členitost zdůrazňuje jednoduchost a zároveň tvarovou funkčnost budovy. The building has three floors and is covered by flat roofs. The hotel meets the conditions of a four-star (****) economic standard. It is designed with 24 accommodation units with a capacity of total 52 persons (4 persons with reduced mobility on the 3rd floor) and restaurant service for 92 guests, social facilities and kitchens. The apartments and guest rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor. On the ground floor there is a representative space of the hotel composed of the entrance hall with reception , space for hotel management, space for technical facilities of the building and restaurant with its own kitchen. The building meets the requirements for zero-energy buildings with a combination of a high-quality construction solution with thermal insulation of building and other technological solutions such as photovoltaic power plants or deep boreholes for stepping pump heating The overall character of the building is emphasized by its architectural design in the light of modern lining of the ventilated facade using cement-fiber boards, whose two-color articulation emphasizes both simplicity and shape function of the building. This solution is combined with large glazed areas that give the building a feeling of spaciousness and evocative cleanliness.

Pětipodlažní objekt, který je komunikačně spojen vnitřním schodištěm a výtahem. Podzemní podlaží je tvořeno skladovacími prostory pro restauraci a hotel, strojovnami pro výtahy a vzduchotechniku. V prvním nadzemí se nachází restaurace s kuchyní, recepce a hygienické zázemí pro návštěvníky a personál. Druhé nadzemní podlaží tvoří kanceláře, konferenční místnost a hygienické zázemí pro personál a veřejnost. Třetí podlaží je určeno pro ubytování. Nachází se zde osm pokojů. Ve čtvrtém podlaží se nachází dva apartmány. Jeden dvoupokojový s obývacím pokojem a kuchyňským koute. Druhý jednopokojový s obývacím pokojem a kuchyňským koutem. From the suites there is an entry to the terraces.

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je novostavba rodinného domu ve městě Boží Dar, který leží v horské oblasti. Rodinný dům je podsklepený, jednopatrový s obytným podkrovím. Objekt je rozdělen na tři dispoziční jednotky. První bytová jednotka se nachází v 1.NP a je navržena pro bydlení. Zbylé bytové jednotky jsou umístěné v podkroví a jsou určené jako apartmány pro krátkodobý či dlouhodobý pronájem. Objekt je navržen jako zděný z broušených cihelných bloků s keramickou stropní konstrukcí. Obvodové zdivo je zatepleno kontaktním zateplovacím systémem a částečně obloženo kamenným obkladem. Střecha objektu je sedlová. Stavební pozemek ubíhá do svahu směrem k severovýchodní straně. Veškeré konstrukce odpovídají platným vyhláškám a normám ČSN., The subject of this diploma work is the new building of a family house at Boží Dar town, that is situated in the mountain resort. The family house has a cellar, it is two storied with an attic apartment. The building is devided into three units . The first unit is found on the first floor and is designed as an apartment. The other units are situated in the attic and are designed for a short-term or long-term renting. The house is designed of cut bricks with a ceramic ceiling construction. The perimeter wall is thermally insulated with a contact insulating system and partly covered with a stony facing. There is a saddle-shaped roof on the house. The building site is sloping north-east. All constructions are in accordance with the valid regulations and ČSN standards.

Diplomová práce zpracovává projektovou dokumentaci pro provádění stavby hotelového objektu s lobby barem, který je situován ve střední části krajského města Brno. Řešená stavba má čtyři nadzemní podlaží a je zastřešena plochými střechami. Hotel splňuje podmínky čtyřhvězdičkového (****) ekonomického standardu. Je navržen s 17 ubytovacími jednotkami s celkovou kapacitou pro ubytování 40 osob a lobby barem pro 60 hostů a sociálním zázemím. Mimo ubytovací náplň bude hotel disponovat konferenčním sálem pro možnosti školení, firemní akce apod. Z důvodů nedostatku parkovacích míst ve městě Brno bude hotel disponovat také podzemními garážemi primárně navrženými pro parkování osobních automobilů návštěvníků hotelu. Apartmány a pokoje pro hosty jsou umístěny ve 2., 3. a 4. NP. V přízemí se nachází reprezentativní prostory hotelu v podobě vstupní haly s recepcí, prostory pro vedení hotelu, lobby bar se sociálním zázemím a posilovna, která bude přístupná i veřejnosti. V suterénu se nachází podzemní garáže a technické zázemí hotelu. Ve 4. NP se pak mino jiné nachází menší wellness s možností masáží, saun, baru a venkovní terasy. Hotelový objekt je navržen jako železobetonový skelet se ztužujícím jádrem, o 4 nadzemních a 1 podzemním podlaží. Design hotelu bude navržen v duchu moderních materiálů, jednoduché členitosti a tvarů. Cílem diplomové práce je návrh energeticky úsporného hotelu s restaurací a s vnitřní garáží. Jeden z hlavních úkolů je také posouzení energetické náročnosti budovy a využití energií z obnovitelných zdrojů. Hotel je řešen myšlenkou „inteligentních budov“ což znamená, že veškeré technické zázemí je ovládáno mimo jiné i hlavním počítačem uvnitř objektu za dosažení minimální spotřeby energií, maximálního komfortu a bezpečí. Umístění na svažitém terénu v centru Brna umožňuje využít částečně podsklepený suterén pro garáže. Střecha budovy je plochá, zelená s úpravou pro umístění solárních panelů, jejichž návrh je součástí technického řešení. Specializací této práce je pak vnitřní akustika a prostorová akustika konferenční místnosti v prvním patře., The first part of this diploma thesis is to design an energy-efficient hotel with restaurant and car parking. Hotel is designed with the idea of „smart buildings“ which means, that all the technological background is controlled by the main computer, which also harvests data to achieve a minimum energy use and financial demand and maximum comfort and safety at the same time by controlling the connected technology. By placing on a sloped terrain in the center of Brno, the basement floor can be used as car parking. The roof of this building is flat, green, with modifications for placing solar panels, whose design is part of this work. The third part of this diploma thesis is the spatial acoustics of the conference room on the first ground floor.
