Today, in the scientific and practical field, as well as a long time later, much attention is paid to improving the quality and quantity of yield. To obtain the desired results, we considered various systems of basic soil tillage in the growing of winter wheat, namely, determined the influence of basic soil tillage systems on the autumn development of winter wheat in the Luhansk region. The results of research of the influence of the basic soil tillage and the forecrop on the density and content of productive moisture in the soil layer of ordinary chernozems and on the autumn phases of development of winter wheat variety “Antara” are discussed. The research was performed in 2018‒2020 in the fields of the department of scientific and technical training in agronomy and farms located in the north-central moderately arid subzone of Luhansk region. Three methods of soil tillage have been studied by us: moldboard ploughing ‒ depth 22 cm; moldboard- less disking ploughing ‒ depth 10 cm; moldboard-free subsurface cultivation ‒ depth 12 cm. Forecrops: occupied fallow, sunflower, maize. The research was performed according to generally accepted methods. By means of research was established the advantage of moldboard ploughing over moldboardless ploughing. Moldboard soil ploughing contributed to the creation of lower density in the arable horizon under different forecrops, greater microbiological activity of the soil, better water supply during the autumn vegetative season. Moldboard ploughing increased access to nutrients such as potassium and nitrogen, and moldboardless ploughing accumulated available phosphorus. Improving the agrophysical properties of the soil contributed to the formation of better biometric indices in the autumn vegetative season. The height of the plants where the soil was plowed to the depth 22 cm was higher compared to the height of the plants with moldboard- less disking ploughing to the depth 10 cm. This affected the number of stems, which also increased, the number of leaves and roots increased, respectively. The depth of the tillering node increased relative to the increase in the depth of soil tillage, the weight of 100 absolutely dry plants increased, respectively, almost three to four times. Thus, the basic soil tillage improves the agrophysical properties, increases the microbiological activity of the soil and improves the biometric indices of plants.

Мета. Встановити сортові особливості формування продуктивності гречки (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench) в умовах нестійкого зволоження Центрального Лісостепу залежно від строків та способів сівби. Методи. Упродовж 2015–2017 рр. в умовах Устимівської дослідної станції рослинництва Інституту рослинництва імені В. Я. Юр’єва НААН досліджували 6 сортів гречки: ‘Ярославна’, ‘Слобожанка’, ‘Руслана’, ‘Українка’, ‘Крупинка’, ‘СИН-3/02’. Висівали гречку нормою 250 зерен/м2 широкорядним (міжряддя – 45 см) та звичайним рядковим (15 см) способом у три строки з інтервалом у 5 діб: 5–6 травня (температура ґрунту 14,5–16,6 °С), 10–11 та 15–16 травня (16,4–19,1 та 16,9–17,3 °С відповідно). Результати. Результати трирічного експерименту засвідчують істотний вплив досліджуваних факторів (сорту, строку і способу сівби) на формування елементів продуктивності гречки, що змінювалися в досить широкому діапазоні (кількість зерен з однієї рослини – від 2,8 до 17,4 шт., маса 1000 зерен – до 2,4 г, урожайність – від 0,1 до 1,2 т/га) і значною мірою залежали від погодних умов весняного періоду. Посушливі умови на початку вегетації знижували крупність зерна та озерненість рослин, що зумовлювало зменшення врожайності, тоді як більш вологі умови навпаки збільшували ці показники. Водночас, сорти ‘СИН-3/02’ і ‘Крупинка’ в посушливих умовах 2017 року відреагували збільшеням врожайності в разі сівби звичайним рядковим способом. Якщо в попередні роки вони забезпечували вищу врожайність за широкорядного висіву, то в несприятливих для росту й розвитку рослин умовах, доцільнішим виявився звичайний рядковий спосіб, а строк сівби істотного впливу на цей показник не мав. Строками сівби гречки (з різницею в 5 діб) не завжди можна нівелювати негативний вплив погодних умов. Спосіб сівби є дієвим фактором впливу на формування високих показників структурних елементів продуктивності та потенціалу врожайності зерна гречки, що певною мірою обумовлено біологічними особливостями сорту. Висновки. Серед досліджуваних сортів гречки найбільшою врожайністю відзначався сорт ‘Ярославна’ за сівби широкорядним способом у першій декаді травня (5–6.05). Ці елементи технології вирощування були кращими і для сортів ‘Слобожанка’ і ‘Руслана’. Другий строк сівби (10–11 травня) є сприятливішим для сортів ‘СИН-3/02’ та ‘Українка’ за широкорядного способу сівби. Гречка ‘Крупинка’ забезпечувала найбільшу продуктивність за сівби в першій-другій декаді травня широкорядним способом. У разі сівби в третій строк (15–16.05) усі сорти формували зменшені показники елементів продуктивності порівняно з іншими строками і способами сівби.

Purpose. To conduct a comprehensive agrobiological assessment of broccoli hybrids Brassica oleracea L. convar. b otrytis (L.) Alef. var. с ymosa Duch. in terms of the key agronomic traits under the conditions of the Western Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Methods. The object of the study was the following foreign broccoli hybrids: ‘Lucky F 1 ’ (reference), ‘Batavia F 1 ’, ‘Belstar F 1 ’, ‘Monaco F 1 ’, and ‘Rumba F 1 ’. Phenological observations, biometric measurements, and records were conducted in accordance with the Methodology of Experiments in Vegetable and Melons (2001). Results. On ave­rage over the years of research, the highest yield was obtained from hybrids ‘Monaco F 1 ’ (41.2 t/ha) and ‘Rumba F 1 ’ (38.0 t/ha). A slightly lower yield was in ‘Belstar F 1 ’ (32.3 t/ha) and ‘Batavia F 1 ’ (29.6 t/ha). In general, all hybrids under investigation provided a significant yield increase (6.3–17.9 t/ha) compared to reference ‘Lucky F 1 ’ (23.3 t/ha). The largest diameter of the main head was recorded in the hybrids ‘Rumba F 1 ’ (19.7 cm), ‘Monaco F 1 ’ (20.5 cm) and the smallest in ‘Lucky F 1 ’ (14.3 cm). The weight of the main head of all hybrids was significantly higher than that of reference (295 g): ‘Batavia F 1 ’ 451 g, ‘Belstar F 1 ’ 477 g, ‘Rumba F 1 ’ 514 g, and ‘Monaco F 1 ’ 542 g. The weight of the side heads of the broccoli ranged from 328 g (‘Lucky F 1 ’) to 807 g (‘Monaco F 1 ’). The highest biochemical indicators of commodity product were provided by hybrids ‘Rumba F 1 ’ and ‘Monaco F 1 ’: the total dry matter content was 11.3 and 11.6%, soluble solids 6.4 and 6.7%, sugars 3.5 and 3.8%, and vitamin C 89.3 and 98.7 mg/100 g, respectively. Conclusions. Under the conditions of the Western Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, it is recommended to grow new foreign broccoli hybrids ‘Rumba F 1 ’ and ‘Monaco F 1 ’, which ensure high yield and quali­ty of commodity product. According to the results of the agrobiological assessment, a typical model of broccoli variety is proposed, which may serve as a project for the development of the evaluation form for ability indicators of Brassica oleracea L. convar. b otrytis (L.) Alef. var. с ymosa Duch. for distribution inUkraine.

Alef. var. сymosa Duch. по основным хозяйственно-ценным показателям в условиях Западной Лесостепи Украины.Методы. Объектом исследования были гибриды капусты брокколи иностранной селекции: ‘Lucky F1’ (контроль), ‘Batavia F1’, ‘Belstar F1’, ‘Monaco F1’ и ‘Rumba F1’. Фенологические наблюдения, биометрические измерения и учеты проводили в соответствии с Методикой исследовательской дела в овощеводстве и бахчеводства (2001). Результаты. В среднем за годы исследований наивысшую товарную урожайность головок формировали гибриды ‘Monaco F1’ (41,2 т/га) и ‘Rumba F1’ (38,0 т/га). Нес­колько ниже она была в ‘Belstar F1’ и ‘Batavia F1’ – 32,3 и 29,6 т/га соответственно. В общем же все исследуемые гибриды обеспечили существенный прирост урожайнос­ти (6,3–17,9 т/га) по сравнению с контрольным вариантом (‘Lucky F1’ – 23,3 т/га). Наибольший диаметр центральной головки зафиксирован у гибридов ‘Rumba F1’ и ‘Monaco F1’ – 19,7 и 20,5 см, наименьший у ‘Lucky F1’ – 14,3 см. Масса центральной головки у всех гибридов была значительно выше показателя контроля (295 г): ‘Batavia F1’ – 451 г, ‘Belstar F1’ – 477, ‘Rumba F1’ – 514, ‘Monaco F1’ – 542 г. Масса боковых головок в зависимости от гибрида колебалась от 328 г (‘Lucky F1’) до 807 г (‘Monaco F1’). Самые высокие биохимические показатели товарной продукции обеспечили гибриды ‘Rumba F1’ и ‘Monaco F1’: содержание общего сухого вещества составило 11,3 и 11,6%, растворимых сухих веществ – 6,4 и 6,7%, сахаров – 3,5 и 3,8% и витамина С – 89,3 и 98,7 мг/100 г соответственно. Выводы. В условиях Западной Лесостепи Украины рекомендуется выращивать новые гибриды капусты брокколи иностранной селекции ‘Rumba F1’ и ‘Monaco F1’, которые обеспечивают формирование высоких показателей как урожайности, так и качества товарной продукции. По результатам агробиологической оценки предложено типичную модель сорта капусты брокколи, которая может служить проектом для разработки соответствующих бланков показателей пригодности сортов Brassica oleracea L. convar. botrytis (L.) Найбільший діаметр центральної головки зафіксовано в гібридів ‘Rumba F1’ та ‘Monaco F1’ – 19,7 і 20,5 см, найменший – у ‘Lucky F1’ – 14,3 см. Маса центральної головки в усіх гібридів була значно вищою за показник контролю (295 г): ‘Batavia F1’ – 451 г, ‘Belstar F1’ – 477, ‘Rumba F1’ – 514, ‘Monaco F1’ – 542 г. Маса бокових головок капусти броколі залежно від гібрида коливалася від 328 г (‘Lucky F1’) до 807 г (‘Monaco F1’). Найвищі біохімічні показники товарної продукції забезпечили гібриди броколі ‘Rumba F1’та ‘Monaco F1’: вміст загальної сухої речовини становив 11,3 і 11,6%, розчинних сухих речовин – 6,4 і 6,7%, цукрів – 3,5 і 3,8% і вітаміну С – 89,3 та 98,7 мг/100 г відповідно.Висновки. В умовах Західного Лісостепу України рекомендується вирощувати нові гібриди капусти броколі іноземної селекції ‘Rumba F1’ та ‘Monaco F1’, які забезпечують формування високих показників як урожайності, так і якості товарної продукції. За результатами агробіологічного оцінювання запропоновано типову модель сорту капусти броколі, яка може слугувати проектом для розроблення відповідних бланків показників придатності сортів Brassica oleracea L. convar. botrytis (L.) Alef. var. сymosa Duch. для поширення на території України.
