The present study aims at clarifying how in literary reviews value judgements about novels are justified. For this purpose we first give an overall description of the place of literary reviews in journalism. Then, we characterize literary reviews as an argumentative activity type. Next, we turn to the argumentative pattern prototypical of literary reviews. To illustrate our account of literary reviews, we present an exemplary analysis of a particular review. This study aims to evaluate better the effectiveness of tourism collaboration and subsequently identify future research directions. Its conceptual framework for evaluating the effectiveness of stakeholder collaboration consists of four main parts: context, process, outcome and impact. The framework enables comparative analysis of collaboration across different contexts; allows individual or comparative case studies; and enables efforts to collect data on a series of indicators from many cases to test dimensions, elements and interactions. This study systematically reviews 169 studies evaluating stakeholder collaboration, including research papers, book chapters, research frontiers articles, commentaries, book reviews, issue introductions, short communications and research notes. In 1923 E. Allison Peers launched a new journal at a moment when Hispanic Studies was emerging as a field. Through reviews and editorials, he and the contributors were working out how to engage publics and build readership. From the pages of the journal, it is possible to see him creating a sense of shared dialogue. Often and without compunction, through book reviews, this involved the promotion of his own work and that of others, a question that has become sticky for academics. This article considers the question of (self)promotion, looks back at a selection of reviews from early issues of the journal, and compares these with how twenty-first century para-academia does the work of thinking in public. Contrary to the emphasis placed on the importance of book reviews as influential drivers of intellectual exchange in the social sciences and humanities, there is a lack of attention by researchers toward the potential of this academic form as a valuable research material and data source. This study aims to bridge this research gap by conducting a bibliometric analysis of 1814 book reviews published in fourteen reputable translation journals during the 2010–21 period. Four major findings were outlined: a slight decline in the number of book reviews in the translation discipline, a propensity among translation journals to favour highly organized yet somewhat mundane book reviews, an evident geographical concentration of contributors toward book reviewing, and prestige and topic biases involved in the proliferation of multiple reviews for a book. The existence of national symbols plays a crucial role in reflecting the identity of a nation. The national anthem is one of the national symbol categories that are commonly used by every nation in this world. The combination of syntactic (musical) and semantic (lyrical) structure make it unique from any other national symbols. Despite of tangibility of other national symbols, the national anthem is intangible, and the lack of transient makes it stronger towards the emotional attachment. Negaraku also faces the same problem as there is a lack of understanding regarding the significance of the national anthem as a symbol of national identity. The continuous issues of contempt regarding Negaraku from 1957 until 2022 show the lack of understanding of the anthem itself as a symbol of national identity. Therefore, this paper aims to emphasize the significance of Negaraku as a symbol of national identity as a foundation of knowledge for fellow citizens about Malaysia. An integrative literature review is used to analyze the significance of Negaraku towards national identity discussion. The analysis will review various sources of relevant information from international and local references which cover books, journals, websites as well as newspaper cutting. Based on the analysis drawn it proves that Negaraku textual structures indicate a direct interpretation of national identity through historical and cultural elements in political and economic perspectives. The article presents a review of the book "Estado de derecho, teoría del derecho e interpretación" directed by Eduardo Magoja and Luciano Laise. This essay provides an exhaustive list (tabulated in the Appendix) of Michael Polanyi's book reviews published from 1939 to 1971. This list was compiled by careful comparative examination of existing bibliographies checked against copies of the reviews recently procured from publications. Our analysis offers a deep dive into the philosophical and historiographical significance of several selected reviews. In examining these reviews, we shed light on Polanyi's distinctive approach. Typically, his reviews are concise pieces. Instead of extensively laying out the content of the books he is reviewing, Polanyi succinctly distills their primary theses and juxtaposes or aligns them with his own perspectives. Philosophically, these reviews are a gateway into understanding how Polanyi positioned his ideas vis-à-vis several seminal thinkers of his era. Cultural and social set of beliefs of all communities have normally been closely related to animals, which are symbolized in literature and history. Cultural and social definitions of animals as 'good' or 'evil' have persisted throughout the history of humankind. In the Iranian environment, bats are mostly perceived as symbols of darkness and ignorance. Here, we briefly review the role that bats play in Idrīs Bidlīsī's unpublished Hašt Bihišt (Book VI) and its symbolisms associated with bats. With the increasing popularity of social media, online reviews have become one of the primary information sources for book selection. Prior studies have analyzed online reviews, mostly in the domain of business. However, little research has examined the content of online book reviews of children's books. Book reviews generated by book readers contain different aspects of information, such as opinions, feedback, or emotional responses, from the perspectives of readers. This study explores what aspects of the books are addressed in readers' reviews, and then it intends to identify categorical features or facets of online book reviews of children's books. We employed a textual analysis approach including the latent Dirichlet allocation topic modeling to analyze the content of book reviews. The results indicate that online book reviews exhibit different facets of the books, which can be used as access points by potential readers to help them select relevant books. Educational institutions are expected to be resilient in the face of emerging changes. Islamic religious education has faced big challenges because the era of society 5.0 puts forth 3 aspects, that of human literacy, data literacy, and technological literacy. The concept of learning Islamic religious education in the era of society 5.0, the benefits of learning this education, and the challenges of it in the era of society 5.0 are the background problems this study explores. This research model uses a literature study or what is commonly referred to as library research and the data collected is reviewed from various sources, including scientific publications and books that focus on these concepts, challenges and innovations of Islamic religious education in society 5.0. The data used are from books and journals. The challenges rose from the fact that there were inadequate human resources and teachers who were mostly elderly. The concepts applied in this learning utilize and create new innovations. The innovation of Islamic religious education learning that is carried out is by using a project-based learning model (PjBL) which is a 21-century learning model based on basic concepts and paradigms. This explorative study investigates how book readers engage on Instagram within the platform-based reviewer sphere as part of the Bookstagram community. The communicative patterns and practices of online book reviews align with the communicative infrastructure of social media. The aim is to define and describe the communicative patterns and practices of online book reviewing under the changing conditions in a social media environment. The article analyzes a sample of the German-language reviewer sphere on Instagram in order to investigate a local formation of a global community. Based on a content analysis of posts (N= 514) from three thematic hashtags--#rezension ("review"), #buch ("book"), and #bookstagramgermany--, I will discuss the types of reviewers and analyze their content by the categories of platform affordances, imagery, textual forms, and review approach. The article contributes to the research of online book reviewing within communication and media studies by providing insight into the communication and review approaches of a niche-structured Instagram community. This article discusses the role of translation in three French reviews active in the 1968 period in France: Europe , Action poétique and Change. It considers not only decisions made by the translators of individual texts, but also the choice of texts published, the status of the translator as writer, support for writers overseas and a new interest in France from the late 1960s in theories of translation. The reviews are read alongside the archive of the Union des Écrivains, founded in the wake of the Paris Events in May–June 1968, in which the reviews' editors were active. Having identified values espoused by the Union on the basis of archival research, the article argues that the reviews' translation practices informed Union activities and were influenced in turn by those activities. Walter Benjamin reviewed the book Der Russe redet by Ssofia Fedortschenko, a Russian nurse during WWI, in 1926 for Die Literarische Welt. This article discusses the review in three respects: 1) as an interrelated component of the journal's discursive embedding, 2) as part of the reviewed book's transfer across Europe, and 3) as an element in Benjamin's (cross-cultural) engagement with war reports and 'mediating' (Soviet) Russian affairs. Taken together, the three perspectives showcase how Benjamin interacted with forming discourses in Die Literarische Welt in 1926/7. This article examines the writing and reception of Sir John Hackett's bestselling 1978 novel The Third World War. The retired British general and a team of collaborators produced a vision of global conflict that found an enthusiastic audience around the world. I argue that Hackett's book succeeded in large part because he reflected growing anxieties about the future of the Cold War just as the superpower confrontation entered a period of dangerous instability. This novel also helped to inspire the modern literary genre of the techno-thriller, which remains commercially and intellectually important today. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
