However, access to healthcare might face blocks in the presence of financial exclusions. Saudi Arabia has, over the years, continued to pursue policy and system reforms to enhance its population’s access to financial inclusion, as well as proper health coverage to improve health outcomes. This study seeks to estimate the effects of financial inclusion on the financial hardships in accessing healthcare in Saudi Arabia. Methods: This study uses a nationally representative survey conducted with 1009 adults, using the 2017 World Bank Global Findex Study data. The study estimates the conditional probability of coming up with emergency funds and the conditional probability of borrowing for medical purposes to understand access to healthcare. A composite value is created for financial inclusion using several variables for individuals’ interactions with financial institutions, such as access to financial services and loans. Results: The results revealed that financially included individuals have a higher conditional probability of both borrowing for medical purposes and coming up with emergency funds, compared to those who are financially excluded. Additionally, the study showed that individuals in low-income brackets are more likely to be financially excluded and have a reduced chance of coming up with emergency funds and borrowing for medical purposes. Conclusion: These findings indicate that there is need for authorities to roll out a financial inclusion drive that will not only incentivise the financially excluded population to become included but that will also aim at promoting various financial products so that those who are already financially included have a wide range from which they can choose. Keywords: access, borrow, financial inclusion, financial hardships, healthcare, Saudi Arabia

Gap years have grown in popularity among students attempting to go to medical school in recent years. According to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), more than half of matriculated students now have taken time off between their undergraduate studies and medical school. Although many claim benefits to taking gap years, research on the impacts of these experiences on medical students is largely nonexistent. This study aimed to qualitatively analyze the gap year phenomenon and its impacts on medical students through semistructured interviews conducted at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. Through these interviews, the research team collected in-depth responses that were thematically analyzed. Analysis revealed the following major themes regarding the impacts of gap years: 1) adaptability to change and failure, 2) professional identity formation and understanding of team role, 3) understanding the “real world,” 4) refocusing of goals, 5) resilience and stress management, and 6) reinforcement of motivation. The purpose of this paper is to take a closer look at how young people always tend to introduce new words and terms into a language. This is due to the overuse of social networks, promotions in media, and more. The immediate development of technology. The changing way of communication between them has led to many foreign expressions and words being introduced into the language. In this paper we have tried to look at how young people communicate with one another, do they use the standard language among themselves, do they speak the same in front of professors, and do they then differ in communication between their social circle. We will also note that there are also students who try to speak the standard, to criticize others for improving their correct use of language. The entry of new words and constructions in a language is first and foremost a response to the economic and social development of a country. Thus, the Albanian language is obliged to create, but also to borrow a large number of words from the languages with which it has the most intense relations. The main methods will be empirical, comparative as well as visual where we will dedicate ourselves to the paper. In the Albanian language, we have many words that came from the influence of the Ottoman Empire, as well as words from the Slavic languages, by which I mean that Albanian already has a certain amount of foreign words, which is now joined by English and other languages that are most influential in the world which make Albanian a language with many new expressions. In the end, we should see how valuable those words are in the vocabulary of the Albanian language. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

10. In consideration of entrepreneurship theory.

- Abstract
This study analyzes more than three decades of theory testing published in leading entrepreneurship journals. It uncovers the amount of theory testing; the extent to which theories are tested multiple times; and, the disciplinary origins of the theories that are tested. The analysis reveals that empirical researchers have increasingly responded to demands for more theory-driven knowledge over time through domestic theory creation and wholesale adoption of theories from other fields. It is observed that the most tested theories are borrowed from other scientific fields. The value of agency theory, the most popular one, is assessed via a foreign theory screening model. The result suggests that researchers cannot be too cautious when considering foreign theory for domestic knowledge development. Ultimately, researchers are strongly encouraged to consider testing the many domestic theories that have been specifically designed to answer the pressing, practical problems of the entrepreneurship discipline. The present article is a continuation of the debate two sets of authors (Bagus and Howden vs. Barnett and Block) have been engaging in regarding one type of maturity mismatching: borrowing short and lending long (BSLL). All four authors had agreed that this practice can set up the Austrian Business Cycle; the present author denies that BSLL would be a legitimate commercial interaction in the free society; Bagus and Howden continue to maintain that it would be licit. Our main criticism of Bagus and Howden is a reductio ad absurdum: that this opens them up to the charge of embracing the doctrine of market failure; this is something highly problematic for the two of them, since all four contributors to this debate are well-known supporters of laissez faire capitalism. This paper deals with photonics half subtraction design for photonics signal processing by using SOA-MZI configuration. The simulation is used to design the half subtraction operation at 1 Gb/s. The photonics half subtractor logic is implemented by using phase modulation of signals in SOA-MZI. Simulative realization of optical half subtraction is obtained by using three SOA-MZI structure which lead revolution in signal processing for high speed operation. The photonics half subtractor is obtained with good quality of signal. The clear eye diagram and spectrums are observed for each output of subtractor and borrows. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Utilization of Regional Assets or Utilization of Regional Property is the utilization of BMD that is not used for carrying out the duties and functions of regional work units and/or optimizing Regional Property without changing its ownership status. Utilization of BMD provides opportunities for regions to increase local revenue and improve public facilities. The formulation of the problem in this study is the concept of asset utilization in increasing local revenue, methods of asset utilization, determination of contributions, and case studies of selecting asset utilization methods in the development of archipelagic tourism areas. This study uses a theoretical approach in explaining the concepts and methods of BMD utilization and uses research data in discussing case studies on the selection of BMD utilization methods. This paper aims to provide an overview of the use of regional property and its benefits in increasing PAD. The results of the discussion show that there are 5 methods of asset utilization, namely lease, borrow and use, utilization cooperation, build to handover, build handover, and infrastructure cooperation which each have their own goals, advantages and characteristics. In the context of increasing local revenue, each method of asset utilization (except borrowing and use) has its own form of contribution that is able to increase regional income and/or increase regional assets. The choice of asset utilization method should be based on the regional vision and mission as well as the most effective method has the greatest impact on regional economic growth.

In the time of the flooding, rural people in Bangladesh suffer from the lingering effects of labor market disruption and income deficiency. This study shows a model based analysis on the research question, 'what coping strategies are followed by the flooded households in Bangladesh and how?'. Data are collected through a three stage stratified random sampling technique on 595 flooded and rural households'. Survey is carried out aftermath of the flood in the year 2005, from four different districts in Bangladesh. A major proportion of households are found to borrow money or resources from informal sources, such as nearby shops or the pharmacy, friends or relatives, or local money lenders, to buy food items and other essentials. A censored tobit model analysis shows that households initiate coping with borrowing money after the realization of floods, and gradually lead to cope with savings and selling assets as the duration of flood increases. Global financial crises have revealed the systemic risk posed by economic contagion. We provide perspectives on the formulation of a game between countries, central banks, banks, firms, households, and financial intergovernmental organizations to model the dynamics between players. We model strategic choices, strategy sets, and utility functions to provide new tools to handle financial crises. The model is illustrated with examples using sensitivity analysis. One country, and two countries, are considered, and we simulate the impacts of random shocks under a variety of assumptions.

This volume explores human adaptation to catastrophic events, particularly to volcanic eruptions. Sunset Crater Volcano is located in the pine forests of northern Arizona, approximately 20 km north of the city of Flagstaff. The volcano was long thought to have erupted in A.D. 1064, with the eruption extending for several hundred years. Research presented here, however, suggests that Sunset Crater erupted for only a few years sometime between A.D. 1085 and 1090, when nearby areas were densely populated by small, prehistoric farming groups. Lava and volcanic tephra were deposited over an area of 2,300 km2, dramatically changing the physical landscape and, almost certainly, the ideological world view of the prehistoric inhabitants. The eruption caused large-scale abandonment, creating a conservative estimate of 1,000-2,000 volcano refugees. Conversely, the deposition of a thin, moisture-retaining cinder mulch, 3-10 cm thick, allowed low elevation areas previously too dry to farm to now be settled. In this volume, the results of archaeological investigations of 41 prehistoric sites along a 26.7-km long section of U.S. 89, situated 5-20 km from Sunset Crater, are presented. Despite the stress of the eruption, the prehistoric populations who inhabited this area not only thrived, they prospered, eventually building some of the largest village sites in the northern Southwest. The goal here is to understand the nature of this highly successful adaptation. Further, the project area crosses what has long been considered a cultural boundary between two groups, the Sinagua to the south and the Cohonina to the north. The distinction between these groups is based largely on the predominance of different ceramic wares, with the Sinagua using Alameda Brown Ware and the Cohonina using San Francisco Mountain Gray Ware. Project research questions involved reconstructing the prehistoric settlement, including examining the question of cultural affiliation, with the goal of refining current understanding of human response to the Sunset Crater Volcano eruption.

The U.S. 89 Archaeological Project investigated 41 prehistoric sites located approximately 30 km north of Flagstaff, Arizona. All sites were on Coconino National Forest (CNF) land, specifically the Peaks Ranger District. The project was conducted hy Desert Archaeology, Inc., personnel for the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) prior to widening and improvement of 26.7 km (16.6 miles) of U.S. 89, between the southern boundary of Wupatki National Monument in the north, and the town of Fernwood in the south. Archaeological fieldwork occurred over two primary field seasons in 1997 and 1998, with a very brief field season in 1999. A total of almost 12 person-years of labor was expended on the fieldwork. The U.S. 89 project area crosses diverse environmental zones, ranging from juniper-sage grasslands in the north at approximately 5,700 ft (1,737 m) asl, to ponderosa pine forests at over 7,200 ft (2,195 m) asl in the south. Mixed pinyon pine and juniper woodlands comprise the middle elevations. Five elevation zones were defined, using increments of 500 ft as a proxy for changes in precipitation, temperature, and vegetation. Additionally, all project area sites are within 25 km of Sunset Crater, with the closest sites only 5-6 km west of the volcano. Sunset Crater erupted for a very short period (months to a few years) sometime between A.D. 1050 and 1125. Basalt lava from the eruption covered an area of approximately 8 km2, while another 2,300 km2 was covered by cinder and ash deposits. Sunset Crater cinders were found on all project area sites. An isopach map of cinder depth constructed for this project indicates that, minimally, the U.S. 89 sites were covered with from 5-50 cm of volcanic material, which had a significant impact on prehistoric settlement, subsistence, and economic systems. Prehistoric adaptation to environmental variability, as well as to the Sunset Crater eruption, were primary research themes. This volume presents the analyses of the non-ceramic artifacts from the 41 investigated sites. These artifacts comprise approximately 16.5 percent of the 98,329 total recovered artifacts: 15,610 pieces of flaked stone, 1,163 pieces of ground stone, 96 bone tools, 70 pieces of shell, and 237 miscellaneous artifacts, which include stone beads, jewelry, and pieces of pigment. Additionally, 3,493 pieces of unworked animal bone were also recovered.

- Abstract
This paper attempts to analytically examine thepossibility of constitutional borrowing for the Muslimworld regardless the differences in history, system, culture, language, and characteristics. It discusses this issue bylooking at the arguments put forth by the opponents ofcomparative constitutional interpretation and their counterarguments. It will consider materials from Canada, USA,South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, and Hungary, taking theposition that constitutional borrowing can be justified. Thepaper argues that the 1999-2002 Indonesian constitutionalreform should be taken into account by other Muslimcountries in undertaking their constitutional reform. Thesubstantive approach of the Shariah that has been used inIndonesia has shown that Muslim world can reform itsconstitutions without the assistance of Western foreignpolicy. Indonesian constitutional reform has demonstratedthat Islamic constitutionalism comes from within Islamicteaching and the Islamic community itself; it is a homegrown product.
