The use of plastic in modern life is increasing rapidly, causing the number of people who use plastic to increase, one of which is when shopping. The function of plastic bags as packaging for luggage is not comparable to the impact caused by plastic waste in the years to come. Plastic bags take a long time, even hundreds to thousands of years, to completely decompose. In order to support the government's program to reduce the use of plastic bags, this study will discuss how to detect cloth bags as a substitute for plastic bags. In this research, a system will be implemented to detect the use of cloth bags with Roboflow and Yolo v5. After carrying out all stages of the research, it can be concluded that the goodie bag detection model has been successfully created. The detection model was created using the YOLOV5 algorithm. The dataset used consists of 102 goodie bag images. The process model uses 100 epochs with the training result mAP@0.5 is 89.8%. So, in other words, it can be said that YOLO v5 can detect goodie bags very well.

Maranatha Christian University has a vision and mission of the Three Pillars of Higher Education based on ICE values: integrity, care, excellence. Community service activities are aimed at community groups assisted by Kota Baru Parahyangan (KBP), members of the Maju Bersama Sejahtera Joint Business Group (KUBE). The method carried out through mentoring and creative experimental practices using treated fabric with ecoprint technique and sewn into the cloth bag products. Through this training hoped could create a community that is independent and able to work or be a creative entrepreneur to produce bag products that have aesthetic and even economic value. The activities carried out offline with 4 FSRD UK. Maranatha lecturers, 2 FSRD students, and 20 KUBE Maju Bersama Sejahtera participants, assisted by 6 committee members from the KBP team. Plastic bags, which have an important place in the lives of consumers due to their advantages, cause damage in many areas during the production and consumption stages. Therefore, there are discussions about the use of plastic bags. The use of plastic bags is completely banned in some countries around the world due to the environmental and human health damages. In some countries, the use of plastic bags has started to be reduced with implemantions such as environmental tax and paid plastic bags. With the legal regulation implemented on January 1, 2019 in our country, it was decided to sell plastic bags at the markets for a fee. As of this date, plastic bags started to be sold for 25 cents in the markets. Therefore, the main purpose of the research is; consumers' awareness of the damages of plastic bags, environmental awareness, support to the law and social pressure factors to determine the effects of plastic bag reduction intention and using cloth bag intention. Another aim is to determine the effect of plastic bag reduction intention and using cloth bag intention on sustainable behavior. The questionnaire prepared for this purpose was applied to 427 consumers between 25.08.2019 and 25.09.2019. As a result of analysis of the obtained data with SPSS 21 and AMOS 24; awareness, environmental awareness, support for the law and social pressure have positive effects on the plastic bag reduction intention and using cloth bag intention, and plastic bag reduction intention and using cloth bag intention have positive effects on sustainable behavior. The feasibility of applying ultrafiltration (UF) to concentrate a yoghurt base prior to fermentation during Greek yoghurt manufacturing was studied as a way of minimising acid whey (AW) generation. Two Greek yoghurts were prepared by concentrating a milk base through UF to 13.8% and 17.5% (w/w) (GY‐2, GY‐3). Production of GY‐3 resulted in zero AW discharge, while the GY‐2 production discharged 78% lower AW compared to the control (GY‐1). GY‐2 exhibited a hard gel structure, low syneresis, maximum viscosity properties and a high protein and fat content. Applying both, UF and straining, resulted yoghurts with required structural attributes while substantially reducing the generation of AW. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

With the rise of the use of plastic amongst retail buyers and menace created by plastic bags, a number of retail outlets are promoting the use of sustainable purchase bags to discourage the increase the use of plastic bags. To discourage the use of plastic bags amongst shoppers, there are practices wherein the retail outlet is charging for the bags. Buyers are opting for multiple uses of plastic bags lying idle at home or use of cloth bag while shopping. However, the use of cloth bag of the shoppers is limited due to several constraints. Purchase bags are perceived from utilitarian view. It was one of the means of carrying purchased goods. With easy availability from the seller and inclusion of the element of the attractiveness of the bag, buyers' preferences have changed. The tendency to carry bag from home has significantly lowered down during purchase. Expectations of the bag during purchase became of the norm for the buyer. Bags were offered by seller also to promote the product, store and the offers to the prospective buyers. The present research attempts to explore the factors influencing purchase decisions for cloth bag amongst youth. After conducting focus group discussion and recording respondents' responses through a structured questionnaire; factor analysis was performed. Four factors were identified as the influencer in purchasing decisions for cloth bag amongst youth. Cloth bag size based convenience, stylish, affordable and peer influence are the factors which influences a young buyer while purchasing a cloth bag. The research is significant and relevant to the context of sustainability. The research findings are significant for the marketers and policy makers especially in the context of promotion and adoption of sustainable practices.
