According to the laboratory prescription, the communication process must include all the essential elements to complete the prosthesis fabrication correctly. The digital revolution in dentistry suggested using information technology system prescriptions instead of traditional prescriptions.Aim: To explore the association between the application of ITS and the communication process between dental laboratories and dental clinics in a developing country setting. Methods: The current study used a quasi-experimental design (posttest only). A convenience sample of 600 subjects was divided into two subsamples of 300 subjects each. The data from the first subsample was collected from traditional (paper-based) prescriptions, and the data from the second subsample was collected from the Information Technology System (ITS).Results: It was associated with a statistically significant commitment to recording the most essential information in the dental lab prescription. The time spent completing and delivering the work was faster, and the need for recommunication was less common among those using ITS than those using traditional systems. Regarding the quality of the prosthesis, the need for modification or redo due to improper shade, inappropriate charting of teeth, or lack of additional information in the dental lab prescription was less among users of the ITS system compared to the traditional system (P < 0.05).Conclusion: Using ITS instead of a traditional system can enhance the communication process and the amount filled in the laboratory prescription in multiple aspects, including the completeness of essential information in the dental lab prescription, the time needed to complete the cases, the need to re-communicate less frequently with the dentist, and improved the quality of the prosthesis. Keywords: information technology system, communication process, dental laboratories, dental clinics

DIGITAL communications ,INFORMATION sharing - Abstract
Nowadays, there are many ways of communicating, but people still don't know how to communicate properly. We need to understand much better what are the main and most important aspects of this communication process, the paradigms of the new digital communication and how this process fulfils us as relational beings in the contemporary world. Are these tools real and authentic forms of communication, or should they be considered mere information exchange tools in relation to communication? Can digital communication nowadays be considered a true form of relationship between two people, or is it just another way of getting a message from one to another? [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

AbstractPerforming arts can be used as a medium to convey social messages in the form of ideas and even social criticism of the actual conditions that occur in society. Slightly different from performing arts, ceremonial arts have greater involvement of religious rituals that are integrated with the values that exist in society. The Kebo Ketan ceremony, which is held in Sekaralas Village, Ngawi Regency has a mission to convey a message of social cohesiveness for the village community. The purpose of this study is to analyze the communication process in conveying messages of social cohesiveness through the Kebo Ketan ceremonial art in the Sekaralas village community. This study uses a qualitative approach using ethnographic methods to understand the cultural dimensions, everyday interactions, and rituals that are mediated to form communication. Primary data was obtained from semi-structured in-depth interviews with several identified informants including the founder and chairman of the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Kraton Ngiyom, activists of the Kebo Ketan ceremony, the Secretary and also members of Kraton Ngiyom, the Head of Sekaralas village and the head of RT 8 of the village. The information obtained from several informants was also supported by direct observations in the field. After the information is collected, data analysis is performed using open coding. The findings from this study are that the Kebo Ketan ceremony is an art form that can be used to convey a message of social cohesiveness in Sekaralas Village, although there are still some deficiencies, because the message of social cohesion has not been fully interpreted and understood properly and the community still considers ceremonial art as entertainment. The implications of this research show that the Kebo Ketan ceremonial used as a medium for communication to convey messages to traditional communities. However, conveying the message must consider the ability of the traditional communities to interpret it.

Transparency, a value that must be built through organizational actions, is a challenge commonly faced by public administration. This challenge is addressed through specific actions embedded in the control environment, which become part of the routine and behavior of every public official to establish a constant flow of information within and outside an entity. To gather information supporting the above, a tool was designed (semi-structured interviews) and applied to eight public officials. The results revealed actions within their control environment dynamics, highlighting the interaction that gives organizational meaning to endogenize transparency. This exploration of actions not only opens up new possibilities for making a profound change in organizational culture, starting from managerial levels, but also instills hope and optimism for a more transparent public administration. It underscores the importance of addressing individual and organizational aspects, paving the way for a more transparent future. As a result, this research not only contributes to the development of investigations focused on analyzing the control environment in public organizations but also provides a beacon of hope for public administration professionals and policymakers. The article focuses on increasing developments in the structure of the language of online communication. It is already common knowledge that online communication or otherwise, multimedia communication has set quite specific language rules, especially in the ways of encoding and, consequently, decoding messages. The so-called "new normal" has gradually crept into reality, even if virtual, unnoticed, and seems to have stayed. The "new normal" does not remain the same and changes with time and the new requirements of the users. The ever-growing striving of people to make things work faster has not left the sphere of human communication untouched, particularly, informal online communication. Thus, most of the changes in the means of encoding a message primarily aim at brevity and efficiency. It is noteworthy that changes are mainly implemented by young users of online space. It is usually they who set new trends in the ways and means of coding meaning in the text, often posing challenges and risks in balancing personal and professional boundaries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

COMMUNICATION ,DIGITAL learning ,HIGHER education ,ARTIFICIAL intelligence - Abstract
Our paper is heading towards an unexplored area in Algeria. It is the technical method of courses; our hypothesis was that the courses may not meet the standards of e-learning, which weakens the communication process. Given that the course in e-learning is a design, this design is the least necessary to establish this process of communication. Indeed, after the examination of open courses and after applying the basic criteria that must be available in e-learning courses, i.e., the three systems: the entry system, the learning system, and the evaluation system-which are recommended by the ministry of higher education and what the platform of Moodle supports for "dynamic learning" to increase communication-we note that the sample courses are far from the standards of the three systems, with some differences in the results of the three systems: For the entry system, the majority of courses do not have an entry system; concerning the learning system, the majority of courses have it but remain very low; as for the evaluation system, the overwhelming majority do not have an evaluation system. An identification trademark, which is a bar code bearing product data, whether industrial products, works of art, or maps. Good information can be obtained through analysis, and the beauty of flexible data security, through the codes consisting of a group of parallel longitudinal lines of different thicknesses with different spaces, and underneath them are numbers or letters as one-dimensional The two-dimensional systems also come in different patterns, consisting of a group of dots formed on geometric patterns in the form of squares, hexagonal shapes, or others as codes for pictorial symbols, where the product data is loaded on which the reading of the encrypted identification mark on it is processed by the laser beam scanner method of the devices By reading the code by measuring the width of the lines and distances or entering the numbers shown under the linear code, or by reading it with a mobile phone camera The first to invent the barcode was "Max Paddock" in the year 1880, but due to the lack of people, his project did not see the light. In the year 1932 AD, the graduate student "Wallace Flint" wrote a research on "automatic groceries" at Harvard Business School, in which he explained the use of this System to automate grocery flow systems from the shelves Since the United States was going through an economic crisis, this idea was not implemented. In the year 1948, Bernard Silver, a graduate student from the Drexel Institute of Technology, in cooperation with his friends, Norman Joseph, Woodland, and Norman Johansen, developed the first system that works with ultraviolet ink for a chain of stores in Philadelphia to read products at the time of exit, but due to the cost of this system B fail. After that, Woodland worked on developing the system and reducing its cost, and he registered his patent on October 7, 1952, after which this invention witnessed wide success.

Good and effective communication is in the common interest of the interlocutor, especially in a medical setting, which creates a specific relationship of trust, and directly influences the outcomes of a medical treatment. The aim of this research is to evaluate the role of information in creating communication feedback in the clinical practice of physiotherapists. To analyse the communication feedback of physiotherapists, a survey was conducted using a questionnaire on 471 physiotherapists employed in 74 healthcare institutions in Croatia. The research hypothesis in this paper assumes that there are no differences in the assessment of communication feedback among physiotherapists with regard to age and years of experience. However, the results show that there are significant differences in the assessment of communication feedback among physiotherapists. This is an important finding, which underlines that an issue that cannot be solved by medical knowledge alone can be resolved by effective communication when combined with a certain technique and way of communicating. Increasingly, the importance of communication and adequate sharing of information between the different agents that build learning content is being detected. Otherwise, knowledge may reach students in a fragile and/or segmented way, through different channels, such as classes, teaching material, and virtual learning environments, among others. This study has the general objective of analyzing the communication process within and between sectors of undergraduate courses in the Distance Education (DE) modality of a private Higher Education Institution (HEI) in the state of Paraná. The research is of an applied nature with a quantitative approach and, to meet the proposed objectives, an online questionnaire was applied to employees from different sectors of the HEI in the case study, with a subsequent statistical analysis of the data collected and with the support of the Google Forms tool. The result of the analysis is an overview of the communication and knowledge-sharing processes of this HEI, identifying that offline tutoring professionals and other professionals (coordinator, pedagogical tutor, online tutor, and teacher trainer) should seek to be in synergy during the closing offline each of the disciplines, as well as with the effectiveness of the activities made available to students so that the continuous refinement of these materials can be promoted. Introduction. Nursing practice requires the integration of communication and clinical skills, which results in greater patient satisfaction and improvement in the results obtained, therefore, based on the perceptions and experiences of Primary Care nurses; it is intended to assess communication processes. Methodology. To obtain the information required by the study, the in-depth interview has been chosen, the literal transcription allowed the establishment of thematic categories of analysis and the comparison of the results with the literature. Results. Communication is perceived very differently by each professional, without a structured method, with a lack of adaptation to the characteristics of each patient, which results in deficits in efficacy, understanding and retention of the message. Discussion. Communication problems cause feelings of helplessness and insecurity among professionals. The lack of an evaluation of the results, in the process, hinders the possibility of improvement and continuity in care. Conclusions. The search for excellence in care requires education and training in terms of communication and continuous evaluation of the results as a guarantee of quality and continuity of care. This research presents a new theoretical framework through assessing readability research based on the linguistics and communication perspectives to determine the obfuscation probabilities and how to mitigate them. Therefore, this systematic literature review analyzed 219 papers using the SCOPUS and Web of Science databases. Findings show that in every language approach, there is an obfuscation level for annual reports, depending on the weakness of a particular component of the text communication process, starting from the use of a complex writing style and ending with the imposition of specific methods of presentation, while suggesting ways to mitigate the obfuscation. The purpose of the article is to present the importance of ethical communication in the medical system seen through the eyes of Romanian doctors. The process of communication today is extremely important. It is part of individual or community activity. In the post-pandemic period, marked by an increase in patients' fears about the future of new diseases (pandemics), measures must be taken to increase patients' trust in the medical system. All the advances made in technology, but especially in medical research, allow us to have better health management today. Unquestionable management is based on ethical communication and quality. It is important to determine how this communication is seen by the medical staff.

IntroductionThe issue of communications in the public space, and in particular, in the workplace, became critical in the early stages of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and was exacerbated by the stress of the drastic transformation of the organization of work, the speed with which new information was being made available, and the constant fear of being infected or developing a more severe or even fatal form of the disease. Although effective communication is the key to fighting a pandemic, some business sectors were more vulnerable and affected than others, and the individuals in particular socio-demographic and economic categories were proportionately more affected by the number of infections and hospitalizations, and by the number of deaths. Therefore, the aim of this article is to present data related to issues faced by essential workers interacting with the public and their employers to mitigate the contagion of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) at work.MethodsFollowing the constructivist paradigm, an interpretative qualitative design was used to conduct one-on-one interviews with precarious/low-wage, public-contact workers (N = 40), managers (N = 16), and key informants (N = 16) on topics related to their work environments in the context of COVID-19 prevention.ResultsThis article has highlighted some aspects of communication in the workplace essential to preventing COVID-19 outbreaks (e.g., access to information in a context of fast-changing instructions, language proficiency, transparency and confidentiality in the workplace, access to clear guidelines). The impact of poor pre-pandemic working relations on crisis management in the workplace also emerged.DiscussionThis study reminds us of the need to develop targeted, tailored messages that, while not providing all the answers, maintain dialog and transparency in workplaces.

Background: The process of receiving a communication of positivity for metabolic diseases at expanded newborn screening (ENBS) is extremely articulated, involves a variety of actors (parents, maternal and child departments, clinical centres and laboratories) and is open to a variety of outcomes from false positive to true positive cases. Receiving communication of positivity can be highly stressful for parents and requires an adequate communication process to give clear and reliable information without causing excessive worry. This qualitative study describes the parents' experience of receiving a communication of positivity to metabolic diseases at ENBS, and their assessment of the quality of the communication process and steps, with the main aim to identify the process' strengths and weaknesses and to advance tailored recommendations to improve the communication process. Method: Fourteen in‐depth, semi‐structured phone interviews were conducted with parents whose children resulted positive to the ENBS. As part of the ENBS communication process, parents received a first phone call communication of positivity and a second in‐person communication at metabolic clinical centres (MCC). The framework analysis method was used to organize the data and identify emerging themes. Results: Parents were largely dissatisfied with the quality and depth of the information received and with the way the healthcare staff delivered the first communication phone call, which failed to create a caring, empathic and safe setting. Many parents tried to reduce the uncertainty by searching online information or consulting with other providers. Nevertheless, the majority of parents described the in‐person visit at MCC as clear, welcoming and reassuring. Conclusion: More efforts are needed to improve the quality of the communication process of the ENBS. Guidelines, recommendations and standard scripts to communicate positivity are needed along with programmes and educational resources to train tailored communication skills. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose of the article is to analyze, along with further improvement and adaptation, the essence and importance of communications to the management system of enterprises and organizations in the current conditions of their functioning. The article analyzes and shows the role of communications in the functioning of enterprises depending on a particular type of enterprise activity. The analysis of existing studies allowed to identify the approaches from which scholars consider the concept of communication, namely: philosophical, social, linguistic, economic, and psychological. Among the most relevant definitions of «communication» for today’s events in Ukraine, the study chose the most appropriate interpretation of the concept of communication as a process by which we provide and transmit meaning in an attempt to create a common understanding. This process requires a huge set of skills. This interpretation helps to adapt the definition as accurately as possible to the events currently taking place in our country and in business, when it is necessary to reflect a common understanding of the situation. Also, based on the analysis of current definitions of the concept of «communication», the author has proposed his own vision of this concept and defined communication as an opportunity to unite like-minded people whose goal is to solve a certain problem with the possible further maintenance of relations to maintain a common understanding of a situation or event. In general, the results of the analysis show that the understanding of the content of communication in the management system of enterprises and organizations has certain peculiarities depending on their activities and the approach used for analysis. Managers at enterprises should take a more balanced approach to understanding the communication process, as this will ensure the formation of an internal microclimate in the team, successful interaction both within the organization and externally, and, ultimately, will help to increase the efficiency of the management process.

Building from Lasswell’s (1948) model of communication, our map discusses how communication about and between groups can be understood by separating Lasswell’s concepts (sender/receiver, message, channel, and effect). We present the articles in the current special issue as examples fitting within the map and illustrate how the map suggests some interesting extensions of this work.

Crisis communication strategies play an important role in determining whether an organisation is able to survive a crisis affecting the public. The 2003 severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS, outbreak in China is considered the beginning of modern crisis management and communication in the country. Ten years later, when a similar public health crisis occurred in 2013 with the H7N9 outbreak, the Chinese government pursued a variety of strategies to avoid a potential pandemic. Much of the previous research on crisis communication in China adopted Coombs' Situational Crisis Communication Theory. However, as a theory proposed and developed in the West, its application in a non-Western culture requires testing. In addition, cultural influences and the role of digital technology have been discussed in some existing literature, but few studies have attempted to integrate these elements into crisis communication theories. In order to fill these two gaps, this research analyses the Chinese government's crisis communication strategies during the H7N9 crisis, examining not only the government's management of the crisis but also the public's reaction to the official communication process. It also explores the cultural context and the development of digital media as critical actors underlying the strategies adopted. The analysis contributes to development of a comprehensive theory that incorporates these two elements, which shows and identifies related crisis communication strategies emerged from cultural traditions and the development of digital media. This research analyses five media sources representing different perspectives – government newspaper reports, press conferences and Weibo posts representing the government perspective and metropolitan newspaper reports and public Weibo posts representing public perspective. It aims to identify the strategies taken by the Chinese government during the H7N9 crisis and to examine the role of cultural factors and digital technology. This research uses the case study method and includes content analysis and critical discourse analysis. Content analysis is used to describe patterns and trends in strategies used during the H7N9 crisis, as represented in the government media sources. Critical discourse analysis is used for in-depth analysis of press conference transcripts to identify cultural factors relevant to the crisis communication strategies. Content analysis of metro newspapers reports and public Weibo posts, as well as critical discourse analysis of public Weibo postings are conducted to examine how the public responded to the strategies taken by the Chinese government.

Negotiations that involve two or more parties in reaching an agreement can't be separated from the communication in its process. Good and effective communication skills willl make negotiations effective as well. This study aims to analyze the importance of communication process in negotiation through qualitative descriptive method, or more accurately is secondary data analysis method using existing data, which are then expressed into words that describe the essential role of communication process in negotiation. The results of the study showed that negotiation as one of business activity that involves two or more parties in its process certainly can't be separated from communication in order to reach a mutual agreement. Communication as a process of exchanging messages from one party to another plays an important role in negotiations, where a negotiator with good communication skills must be able to convey a message that is easily understood by the other party, also be able to read or understand the intent of the message sent by other party, both verbally and non-verbally. Thus, both parties will be able to compromise so that an agreement is reached that meets each party's needs as expected. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the communication process in negotiations can be said to be one of the key success factors in negotiations that aim to reach an agreement that is beneficial for each party involved.

The article is a study of the historical evolution of the communication process and some theoretical reflections on the definition of the term. It describes the development of the communication process in different historical periods, being emphasized the connection of the phenomenon with the history of human evolution. The content of the concept has been researched by scientists from the perspective of several sciences: philosophy, sociology, psychology, computer science, mathematics, semiotics and from other fields, and most of them defined the term communication. The article contains a series of definitions to better understand the issue of defining the term. Up to the present, there is no accepted definition as one that encompasses all the features of the phenomenon. This is due to the polysemantic and complex nature of communication which it has obtained during the historical development

- Abstract
This article elaborates on an accurate energy model (EM) for wireless sensor devices (WSDs) based on power consumption measurement. A deep understanding of WSD’s energy cost depends on the WSD’s functional components contributing to the wireless communication process. The model includes different stages of transmission (Tx) and reception (Rx) communication modes. The practical EM is developed with data packet lengths, data rate, operation status, predesigned stages versus appropriate communication bus, and power mode, including mutual data transfers between the microcontroller and the radio module. The validity of the EM is verified through an experimental setup having a TelosB device. As expected, the modeled and measured energy consumed by the WSD operating from 1-to-4-MHz CPU frequencies and the 2-to-100-byte payload is in very good agreement. It was found that, compared to the energy consumption in processing, Tx, listening, and Rx phases, the data transfer consumes up to 40% of total WSD energy, whereas this aspect is often neglected in usual models. Overall, the proposed model provides significant accuracy and might be helpful in improving the energy efficiency of future wireless sensor networks. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Scientists continue keep discussions about communications and communication processes, as well as their role in the activities of companies in the digital economy. The communications of consulting companies, where this management tool is of great importance in the process of their growth, are poorly studied. Issues of the development of areas for effective communication management of consulting companies are still relevant. The purpose of the article is to study of theoretical foundations of the formation of a communication system of internal consulting interaction and hence, develop a scientific and methodological approach to assessing the state of the communication system of internal consulting interaction; provide practical recommendations for the effective management of internal communications on the example of the activities of consulting companies in Ukraine. Methodology. A set of general scientific methods was used: historical and dialectical methods – for reviewing scientific views on the content of consulting and communications, presenting the content of the main scientific categories; an abstract-logical method – for establishing logical relationships between the elements of the communication system of internal consulting interaction and developing, on this basis, a scientific and methodological approach to assessing the state of this system; the method of strategic analysis of diagnostics of the system of internal communications on the example of consulting companies in Ukraine. Results. The authors clarified basic concepts and components of the communication system of the communicative process of consulting interaction according to its examined features. Connections between the elements of this system were established. The emergence in the communication system of a consulting company of the effect of communicative convergence between the participants in the interaction during the development of a joint idea and the production of joint communicative actions was fixed. It was developed a scientific and methodological approach to assessing the state of the communication system of internal consulting relationship, the implementation of which takes place within the framework of the procedural model. The state of communication systems of internal consulting was assessed instead of modifications at the stage “Diagnostics of communication systems” as in the case of the ninth consulting companies in Ukraine, which were included in the Top 15 most popular companies of Ukraine in 2020. During the diagnostics of communication systems of such companies, their strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats were identified. This made it possible to solve problems related to business dealing in companies and give practical recommendations for addressing these problems. Practical implications. The results of theoretical and practical research confirm the need for consulting companies to use a process model for assessing the state of the communication system of the communicative process of internal consulting interaction within the framework of a scientific and methodological approach. The approach will help the management of consulting companies to timely identify problems in the management of internal communications, evaluate them and make effective decisions to increase the loyalty of consultants, their productivity and receive planned income. Value/originality. Research is valuable. It substantiates the understanding of consulting interaction as a professional communication process in the communication system of consulting companies, which accompanied by the effect of communicative convergence. The results obtained can be useful for specialists and managers of internal communications. To get a fuller picture of the problems, company managers are encouraged to conduct surveys of employees and coordinate their competencies in accordance with the “Effective Consultant” model.

The article is devoted to proving the importance and exclusivity of the modern paradigm of communication management in the hospitality industry. The purpose of the study, outlined as an analysis of existing theories and identification of features of the modern paradigm of communication management in the hospitality industry, has been realized. It is shown that communications between the management and the managed systems are carried out through direct and feedback. The study of theoretical approaches to the key characteristics of information and communication in the management system of a hospitality industry enterprise has made it possible to identify differences in the interpretation of researchers associated with a shift in emphasis on certain aspects of information exchange, and to move on to considering communication as a process of information exchange both within the enterprise and with the external environment aimed at achieving its goals.

The first part of this article provides an overview of communication management as an organisation function, and in doing so adopts a systems approach showing the interdependency of the various SUbsystems. The role of the communication manager as channel in the communication process, uniting the various subsystems as an effective functioning whole, is discussed. Conceptualising integrated communication and its role in the market environment, as well as advantages associated with such an approach, the article argues that an integrated approach is needed to successfully manage communication in the organisation. In the second part, an integrated communication management model is proposed, showing communication management at the micro, meso and macro levels of the organisation. Exploring some of the factors that may impede support for an integrated approach, the authors conclude that implementation of an integrated communication management model impacts significantly on the role of the communication manager as attitude and opinion leader, both inside and outside the organisation.
