In this work we consider some problems about a reflected graph map germ $f$ from $(\mathbb{C}^n,0)$ to $(\mathbb{C}^{n+1},0)$. A reflected graph map is a particular case of a reflection map, which is defined using an embedding of $\mathbb{C}^n$ in $\mathbb{C}^{p}$ and then applying the action of a reflection group $G$ on $\mathbb{C}^{p}$. In this work, we present a description of the presentation matrix of $f_*{\cal O}_n$ as an ${\cal O}_{n+1}$-module via $f$ in terms of the action of the associated reflection group $G$. We also give a description for a defining equation of the image of $f$ in terms of the action of $G$. Finally, we present an upper (and also a lower) bound for the multiplicity of the image of $f$ and some applications.

We consider a finitely determined map germ $f$ from $(\mathbb{C}^2,0)$ to $(\mathbb{C}^3,0)$. In this case, the double point curve $D(f)$ plays a fundamental role in studying the topology of the image of $f$. When $f$ is quasihomogeneous and has corank $1$, we present a characterization of the fold components of the double point curve $D(f)$. In our setting, we also consider Zariski multiplicity question for a pair of germs of (parametrized) quasihomogeneous surfaces $(\textbf{X},0)$ and $(\textbf{Y},0)$ in $(\mathbb{C}^3,0)$ with one dimensional singular set. Finally, we characterize Whitney equisingularity of an unfolding $\mathcal{F} =(f_t,t)$ of $f$ through the constancy of the Milnor number of a single plane curve in the source. This gives in some sense an answer to a question by Ruas in $1994$.

In this work, we consider a finitely determined map germ $f$ from $(\mathbb{C}^2,0)$ to $(\mathbb{C}^3,0)$. We characterize the Whitney equisingularity of an unfolding $F=(f_t,t)$ of $f$ through the constancy of a single invariant in the source. Namely, the Milnor number of the curve $W_t(f)=D(f_t)\cup f_t^{-1}(\gamma)$, where $D(f)$ denotes the double point curve of $f_t$. This gives an answer to a question by Ruas in 1994.

We consider $\mathcal{A}$-finite map germs $f$ from $(\mathbb{C}^n,0)$ to $(\mathbb{C}^{2n},0)$. First, we show that the number of double points that appears in a stabilization of $f$, denoted by $d(f)$, can be calculated as the length of the local ring of the double point set $D^2(f)$ of $f$, given by the Mond's ideal. In the case where $n\leq 3$ and $f$ is quasihomogeneous, we also present a formula to calculate $d(f)$ in terms of the weights and degrees of $f$. Finally, we consider an unfolding $F(x,t) = (f_t(x),t)$ of $f$ and we find a set of invariants whose constancy in the family $f_t$ is equivalent to the Whitney equisingularity of $F$. As an application, we present a formula to calculate the Euler obstruction of the image of $f$.

We consider a corank $1$, finitely determined, quasi-homogeneous map germ $f$ from $(\mathbb{C}^2,0)$ to $(\mathbb{C}^3,0)$. We describe the embedded topological type of a generic hyperplane section of $f(\mathbb{C}^2)$, denoted by $\gamma_f$, in terms of the weights and degrees of $f$. As a consequence, a necessary condition for a corank $1$ finitely determined map germ $g:(\mathbb{C}^2,0)\rightarrow (\mathbb{C}^3,0)$ to be quasi-homogeneous is that the plane curve $\gamma_g$ has either two or three characteristic exponents. As an application of our main result, we also show that any one-parameter unfolding $F=(f_t,t)$ of $f$ which adds only terms of the same degrees as the degrees of $f$ is Whitney equisingular.

From a procedure to calculate the $C_5$-cone of a reduced complex analytic curve $X \subset \mathbb{C}^n$ at a singular point $0 \in X$, we extract a collection of integers that we call {\it auxiliary multiplicities} and we prove they characterize the Lipschitz type of complex curve singularities. We then use them to improve the known bounds for the number of irreducible components of the $C_5$-cone. We finish by giving an example showing that in a Lipschitz equisingular family of curves the number of planes in the $C_5$-cone may not be constant.

In this work, we consider a quasi-homogeneous, corank $1$, finitely determined map germ $f$ from $(\mathbb{C}^2,0)$ to $(\mathbb{C}^3,0)$. We consider the invariants $m(f(D(f))$ and $J$, where $m(f(D(f))$ denotes the multiplicity of the image of the double point curve $D(f)$ of $f$ and $J$ denotes the number of tacnodes that appears in a stabilization of the transversal slice curve of $f(\mathbb{C}^2)$. We study the behavior of limits of tangents in topologically equivalent spaces. In the context of families of generically reduced curves, we introduce the $s$-invariant of a curve and we show that in a Whitney equisingular family with the property that the $s$-invariant is constant along the parameter space, the number of tangents of each curve of the family is constant. In the context of families of isolated surface singularities, we show through examples that Whitney equisingularity is not sufficient to ensure that the tangent cones of the family are homeomorphic. We explain how the existence of exceptional tangents is preserved by Whitney equisingularity but their number can change.

In 1971, Zariski proposed some questions in Theory of Singularities. One of such problems is the so-called, nowadays, Zariski's multiplicity conjecture.
